Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

In the starry sky, a vast shadow swiftly approaches and appears.

"Huh, this starfield actually has much more abundant energy compared to the Orion Arm over there."

Jia Yan had just emerged from the subspace and felt a bit surprised.

The Adisa did not follow him and act as a backpack to charge out of the subspace but stayed inside the subspace itself.

Although, for the strong ones, seeing shallow objects is easy, the Adisa always lingered within the interior of the fourth and fifth-degree subspace, and with its massive energy, it could effortlessly initiate another ’sudden progress’ and delve into the depths of the subspace, making it difficult for enemies to attack it.

This is Jia Yan’s way of protecting his vehicle.

Besides, he thought of letting the Adisa follow him inside the subspace because he felt a bit uneasy about this starfield.

If there is any disturbance, he would dive into the subspace interior and quickly leave using the Adisa backpack.

But not now, as Jia Yan had just surged out of the subspace and felt surrounded by a field of energy in the starry sky.

Although the cosmic energy still feels thin, the total amount is slightly more than that in the Orion Arm.

"This area is closer to the center of the Milky Way, where there are more stars, so more abundant energy is only natural."

Jia Yan contemplated these thoughts silently and no longer concerned himself with the energy issue.

No matter how much energy the universe possesses, it can only be sensed by someone like Jia Yan at the galaxy level; an ordinary strong one wouldn’t be able to detect such a level of change.

"The surrounding stars... seem to have become closer and more numerous. Indeed, this is the area nearing the center of the Milky Way."

Jia Yan surveyed the surroundings and noticed the differences here.

The distances between stars seem closer, and the movement of certain celestial bodies has accelerated, and the energy bursts from stars seem to have increased.

"Over there, there seems to be a civilization present. Whether this is the Insect Clan’s Domain, I’ll just have to go and ask."

Jia Yan sensed signs of extensive civilization activity around a distant field of stars.

This starfield is known as the Insect Clan’s Domain, implying the existence of some unique species within.

As expected, when Jia Yan re-entered the subspace interior, not using Adisa but relying on his flight ability to reach the civilization’s location, he saw that the active biological entities within this civilization were all insect-like creatures.

These creatures somewhat resemble ants from Earth, only much larger than ants.

Some resemble centipedes, some spiders.

Anyway, there are many varied types.

"Interesting, could this be the origin of the name ’Insect Clan’?"

Jia Yan knew that the ’Insect Clan’ he heard about was in interstellar common language, which differed slightly from the meaning understood by Earth people.

But this does not mean he has no similarity with the creatures from this starfield.

At least Jia Yan observed, some individuals looked quite like him.

If he claimed to be a strong one emerging from the Insect Clan Domain, many would likely believe him.

In this starfield, it belongs to the industrial star of the Insect Clan’s Domain.

They were just on the border civilizations of the Insect Clan’s Domain and mainly supplied products to it.

"Sigh, our Insect Clan’s Domain develops towards there every year, never towards us. Otherwise, our border would become central, increasing our status, but alas, the Queen doesn’t want to develop towards here."

"Hush, keep your voice down. Speaking disrespectfully about the Queen, are you asking for trouble?"

"Hmph, even if the Queen wouldn’t take action against a mere civilian like you, many of her loyal followers would certainly kill you. Count me as one of them. Besides, the Queen has her reasons for not developing towards here; our surrounding starry sky has no substantial celestial bodies left, and going towards a location twenty light-years away isn’t worthwhile. So the Queen doesn’t develop towards here. You think she wouldn’t want to?"

A few insect clan citizens on a small border star engaged in agricultural activities, silently farming.

They farmed while arguing.

Unfortunately, this small star had very few citizens, so even if they argued and fought, it would take some time for the police from other stars to arrive.

While many strong beings in interstellar civilizations no longer need food, they still require energy.

Ordinary organisms, however, require large quantities of food.

Thanks to the power of interstellar civilizations, any kind of planetary texture can support agricultural development, so numerous advanced civilizations transform their border stars or moderately suitable small celestial bodies into planets capable of bearing crops.

Yet, unbeknownst to all, those stars host diligent farmers, removed from ordinary planetary civilizations, forgotten even by citizens themselves.

Not just the Insect Clan, even the Orion Arm hosts many such planets, with sparse populations, fully automated, but still in need of management, leaving those generations of farming individuals as the lowest tier on these planets without prospects.
