Chapter 2710 - 10: Next Step Plans!
"As for the second point, it’s necessary to have a place where star cores can be acquired. If you can’t buy them, then get them yourself. Speaking this way, the range of choice becomes smaller, because getting them means destroying planets, which offends people. This means I need to find relatively weaker places, otherwise going to a place with a domain lord means I wouldn’t even know how I died!"
Jia Yan analyzed for a while, coming up with another rule that must be followed.
With these two basic rules in mind, he called Adisa.
In no time, a small shadow mosquito flew in front of Jia Yan.
Because it’s just light and energy, it doesn’t have the possibility of being completely eliminated by subspace power.
"Master, what do you want me to do?"
Adisa giggled, sounding like a little girl’s voice, quite adorable.
"Help me open the map, along with the distribution map of strong ones nearby."
"Alright, but the data on this starry sky is very old, and significant changes might have occurred, so you’d better make your own judgment."
The Adisa opened a gigantic virtual map.
Honestly, the virtual image was so large that Jia Yan thought he was in a massive room, but unfortunately, it was just a virtual image; what lay before him was endless twisted darkness.
"This technology is really good. If I weren’t past the age, I’d want you to set up a game for me to play, haha."
"Sure, Master, I have lots of games here, all in a realistic human perspective, including Earth’s ones, they are quite fun."
"Forget it, maybe next time. I’m not in the mood now."
Jia Yan shook his head, refusing Adisa’s suggestion.
He wasn’t in the mood for it.
The map spread out before him, and Jia Yan saw that there was a small dot moving at an astonishing speed.
This was where he was.
Jia Yan felt that having an Adisa was immensely helpful, he could even roughly calculate his current speed.
"This place was originally the starfield where that Turtle Scratch domain lord-level existence resided, and it’s said his power is very formidable."
Jia Yan looked at the map, first identifying which starfield he was presently in.
The map, although quite old, was acquired from the Insect Clan queen, with a blank period of roughly two hundred years or so. The Turtle Scratch domain lord still likely rules here, which means the domain lord creature he encountered just now should be Turtle Scratch."
"The surrounding areas... Incredible, almost every starfield has domain lord creatures, some even have two domain lords, though clearly some have changed with a possibility of significant shifts over two hundred years."
Jia Yan looked around and found that almost every spot in the starry sky has domain lord creatures.
It’s noteworthy that such a situation is almost impossible in the Orion Arm or the Insect Clan’s domain.
Because, although the surrounding starfields in the Orion Arm also look quite strong, compared to the proximity to the Milky Way Central Region here, it’s still worlds apart.
And on this side, galaxy-level existences are so densely packed that it’s exaggerated, though domain lords are relatively fewer, they are still sufficient to fill this stretch of the starry sky.
The starry sky without a domain lord is almost non-existent, at least they are under the control of a domain lord creature.
And very close by, about two thousand light-years away, is the ’Central Starfield of the Milky Way’ where Jia Yan and the others have been through countless hardships preparing to go.
This central starfield has a plan, where an area of ten thousand light-years all around is considered a central starfield, and the true center belongs to the area around the supermassive black hole of the Milky Way with the most stars.
There, power is certainly extremely volatile, with collisions between planets occurring periodically, devouring, black holes roaming, energy absorption, and so on, that can be said to be chaotic beyond measure.
But such places, the more they are, the more they hold countless opportunities, and it’s precisely because of this that the true experts of the Milky Way come there to cultivate and comprehend the Universe’s power.
But for now, it’s not Jia Yan’s target, and surely, he himself won’t be going there for a while, since the Insect Clan queen temporarily has no plans to develop over there.
"Here it is, this place feels rather good."
Suddenly, Jia Yan found a place connecting two major starfields on the map, an area that no one controls.
That area is a black zone adjacent to two major starfields. Labeled on the map with a name, it’s an unnamed Three No-Care Area.
As for the features and strong ones, it’s not very detailed because this is a map from two hundred years ago, so many details aren’t thorough.
Jia Yan just wants to try his luck there.
If there are strong ones, then he would leave, but if there aren’t domain lord creatures, even if there is a mid-level galaxy existence, he would want to have a go because going somewhere else would certainly be more difficult.
At least in such a place, where it’s a Three No-Care place, where would a domain lord come from? Domain Lord creatures surely wouldn’t willingly establish themselves in a little Three No-Care Area, preferring to challenge weaker domain lords instead, right?
Of course, in this regard, Jia Yan doesn’t quite understand the strong ones in this starry sky.
There are so many domain lords here, so there are bound to be some external or other domain lord creatures dethroned. Where do they go? Many indeed go to such dark areas, and because of their presence, the surrounding domain lord creatures wouldn’t easily provoke them, lest they risk losing their own starfield if defeated.
Of course, saying this is one thing; whether there really are such domain lord creatures in the area Jia Yan is heading to remains to be seen.
Because after many domain lords fail, nine out of ten choose to head toward the Galactic Central, to see if there’s any breakthrough opportunity.
Having selected the place, Jia Yan quickly directed Adisa in that direction.
"The distance is only about three hundred light-years or so, hehe, it’s quite close. But such a short distance, surprisingly, there are several domain lord domains; outside, in such a place as the Orion Arm Star Field, there would just barely be one big enough area, and yet here, there are so many domain lords."
Jia Yan felt Adisa turning while expressing his amazement.
Domain lords are indeed plenty.
But the density of domain lords doesn’t mean the star systems they manage are much fewer.
"Here it is already only a few thousand light-years away from the Milky Way Central. The massive gravitational pull from the black hole causes stars to cluster here, every place one can gaze upon is filled with stars, and the territories occupied by domain lord creatures here have more stars than those in the Orion Arm, and not just a few more, even many times, even ten times more. The resources here are indeed remarkable."
Jia Yan marveled at how this starry sky had an abundance of stars, and the fact that star activity led to unique energy and more massive amounts of materials here, making it far richer, with super cultivation resources that can’t be found outside becoming more plentiful.
This is also the reason why there are more domain lords here.
Even such a place is this way, then the place defined as the Galactic Central Starfield, wouldn’t it be a treasure no matter where you go?
Thinking of this, Jia Yan became a bit eager.
"But don’t think too much, what I need to do now is repair myself. Once repaired and mutated successfully, then I can continue toward the real Milky Way Central."
He told himself not to think too much, after all, the central starfield is right before him, no need to rush.
In the depths of subspace, Jia Yan, while lost in thoughts, rode on the Adisa.
He thought about many things, pointing here and there on the map.
Certainly, because these thoughts were entirely based on the old map, and the data is minimal, whether they are accurate is something he does not know, so the future will still depend on practical circumstances.
Finally, who knows how many days passed.
Jia Yan heard Adisa’s reminder.
"Master, we have arrived."
"Hm? We arrived..."
The compound eyes of the Giant Mosquito slightly brightened.
