Reborn As An Interstellar Giant Mosquito

Chapter 2728 - 19: Adisa’s Bluff

It’s almost impossible to escape when confronting a Domain Master without self-detonation of organs like limbs.

Since the limbs can’t be detonated, then only other organs will do!

Jia Yan was deep in thought about which of his organs could be used for ’self-detonation’.

This needs to be an organ without much significant functionality yet considerably sized, at least as big as a limb, to achieve the desired self-detonation effect.

"Wings!"

First, Jia Yan thought of the mosquito organ of his that currently serves no great purpose.

That would be the wings.

As a mosquito, Jia Yan’s wings had been essential for flight when he was weak.

Even when he reached a relatively strong state, he had used his wings in combat.

However, as he ascended to more advanced levels of strength, the wings became increasingly useless, more and more of a burden.

This biological form is determined by genes, and it’s not easy for him to alter it.

Thus, he set his sights on these wings.

To transform them into tools suitable for unleashing his Yin-Yang Dao explosion force, for obstructing enemies or even self-detonating to kill foes...

"Alright, I’ve decided on the wings, but I only have two wings. Last time a Domain Master pursued me, I used a full six limbs to hinder his chase. Now, finding just two isn’t enough..."

"And my antennae! Indeed, my antennae, when I was weaker, were practically my ears and eyes, providing assistance. But now, they seemingly serve little purpose, and their length is comparable to a limb. If they self-detonate, the effect shouldn’t be bad either."

Using the antennae as tools for self-detonation, Jia Yan felt no real regret.

After all, these antennae were indeed useless.

"What else is there?"

"The tail needle... While the tail needle was evolved by me as an attack direction after gaining power, I’ve discovered it doesn’t have many advantages. It might as well be converted into a self-detonating tool, giving me a chance to escape. Moreover, located on the back, it could be modified to fire a needle that detonates upon contact, wouldn’t that be even better?"

Jia Yan thought of many things, feeling a sudden surge of inspiration.

Thus, in the subspace, this transforming Giant Mosquito began adjusting itself.

Gradually, he sensed the tingling areas were where his mutations were taking place.

And so, he slowly began to make his body more suited to the current battle.

This mutation was meticulously manufactured by Jia Yan himself, and the future effects should not be too disappointing.

Though he didn’t know, in the starry sky outside, Adisa, whom he entrusted with his protection, was trying her utmost to protect Jia Yan within the subspace.

"Esteemed one, are you the stellar class they mentioned coming to negotiate with me? Just a Stellar Class Junior, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry!"

The small Light and Shadow Mosquito confronted a group of super masters in the normal space.

Some of these masters’ power reached the stellar level, naturally, the one Adisa was confronting.

Others were at least Respect Level, which for an outgoing search team having a Strong One of Stellar level in command, is already considered a decent core.

But judging by Adisa’s attitude, she wasn’t too pleased that the creature was merely a Stellar Class Junior.

Feeling it wasn’t worthy.

"Hmph, a mere intelligent program dares to look down on me? But I know, ordinary intelligent programs, even with a certain degree of personification, daring to speak like this indicates you are definitely not a minor force, so I forgive your disdain."

The Stellar-level Strong One conversing with Adisa indeed exhibited the demeanor of a Stellar being, not angry despite being underestimated by an intelligent program.

Of course, he was definitively displeased. Being looked down upon by a trivial intelligent program is akin to being disrespected by a computer, incredibly embarrassing in this starry sky.

Luckily, the other party wasn’t impulsive.

Additionally, the more arrogant this little intelligent program appeared, the tenser he felt.

Just as he said, intelligent programs are merely intelligent programs. Adisa’s displayed intelligence or arrogance must be backed by considerable confidence to speak such words.

In truth, Adisa indeed had her confidence.

Her master was a Star River Level being, even one who had eliminated an equally ranked Star River Middle Stage creature and escaped alive under the nose of a Domain Master creature. With such a master, facing a Stellar level being, how could she not act audaciously?

This was precisely why Adisa possessed confidence against the Stellar level being.

Indeed, the opponent hadn’t made a mistake.

However, he certainly didn’t know that Adisa’s master currently had little combat power.

Fortunately, he was intimidated by Adisa.

"Haha, you’re perceptive. Okay, let’s talk now. First, let’s discuss how you came to find this place."

Adisa laughed faintly, arrogantly raising her question to the opponent first.

"Esteemed intelligent one, you must be mistaken. It’s us asking you questions, not you questioning us."

The Stellar level being felt about to explode, having come to inquire of this intelligent existence and yet being retaliated with an inquiry.

He didn’t realize this was Adisa employing a strategic delay tactic, for her, as long as time could be stretched, the more questions the better.

However, the opponent was unaware.

"If you don’t disclose what you’re investigating, how can I possibly tell you about my matters? And, considering your investigation situation before coming here, I also need to ponder, if you don’t share, how can I integrate my ideas to discuss with you?"

Adisa surprisingly seemed quite justified.

"Hmm, that does make sense. Alright, I’ll tell you then."

The opponent paused, feeling somewhat led by Adisa.

Nonetheless, he felt it seemed correct. Adisa, whether or not she led to the death of that Stellar level being, he did not believe a mere intelligent Light and Shadow could possess the power to kill a Stellar level being, thus he thought it feasible to clarify with the intelligent program first and probe its gathered intelligence later.

After all, intelligence is intelligence, some are merely programmed this way, requiring comprehensive information for proper dialogue or anything else.

"We received a request from the distant starfield to investigate an Outsider..."

The Stellar level being began narrating to Adisa.

The words he spoke made Adisa firmly focus her Compound Eyes on the Light and Shadow creatures.

Those Compound Eyes were filled with surprise.

Turns out my deception also drew some useful information.

Looks like the Domain Master who injured the Master is still unwilling to give up, wanting trouble for the Master.

Adisa felt somewhat depressed; the enemy the Master attracted this time was truly formidable, offering no ideas for her to propose.

Yet even if no suggestions could be offered, she could still provide some assistance, at least help the Master delay the enemy’s arrival.

In fact, Adisa already possessed the offensive capacity to eradicate all current beings present.

Because she held numerous Subspace Explosives.

If triggered now, all beings present, including the Stellar Class Junior conversing with Adisa, would perish.

Accordingly, to Adisa, she indeed faced minimal danger.

However, the danger lay in the fact that the Master still hadn’t emerged from seclusion, and the timing of his emergence remained unknown.

So the current position isn’t to kill but to prolong time as much as possible.
