The little fatty lifted his head and looked at Huo Sining, who was full of bewilderment:
"Surprised, aren’t you? There’s actually nothing to be surprised about. You’re carrying two completely different races inside you, one human and the other from the Jiao Clan. Now it was Gu Xu’s turn to be dumbfounded. He had seen his wife’s true form and had been worried beforehand that if she were pregnant with a Jiao, what would they do when it’s time to give birth? Would the Jiao count as human or fish? Would it be oviparous or live birth? He had imagined these scenarios countless times in his mind.
When his wife got pregnant, he was so concerned about this problem that he took Huo Sining to Tan Youming’s private clinic. He was prepared for the worst-case scenario: if it was indeed a Jiao, he’d find a way to take his wife abroad to lie low for a while, and deal with it after the child was born.
But later, it was confirmed that the fetus showed no abnormalities and was no different from a normal pregnancy, which put Gu Xu’s mind at ease.
Who would have known that this issue would resurface, and the Blue Fatty would give him such an absurd answer, leaving Gu Xu at a complete loss.
"Niuniu, are you saying that in this pregnancy, one is human and the other is Jiao, and the reason the hospital can’t detect twins is because of the Jiao placenta?"
Huo Sining was also shaken by the news. She stared tightly at the little fatty girl with an incredulous tone.

Huo Sining was startled, then nodded: "Yes, by chanting the Invisibility Spell."

At the time, neither Huo Sining nor Gu Xu paid much attention to it, but now in hindsight, they found it amusing.
That was no white dot; it was probably the other Jiao fetus. But since Tan Youming had only dealt with human pregnancies, he’d never seen a Jiao fetus, mistaking the white dot for a tumor.
Thinking about having two in this pregnancy, and two completely different kinds of fetuses, Huo Sining felt dizzy, completely at a loss for words.
Gu Xu, on the other hand, after being dumbfounded, quickly calmed down.
Listening to the little fatty girl’s tone, it seemed that the Jiao fetus inside his wife’s belly was a boy. This left Gu Xu feeling a bit disappointed; he didn’t want a son, just a daughter.

The little brat turned her head, completely ignoring him.

Upon hearing this, the little fatty girl puffed up with anger, glaring back at Gu Xu: "You! You don’t keep your word; you promised to take me!"
Gu Xu raised an eyebrow: "I never said I wouldn’t take you, but you need to wait a while. How long... depends on my mood."
The little fatty girl was speechless. She could only glare at Gu Xu with a red face, knowing well that this Gu’s man would definitely do what he says. She had already been suffering from hunger during this period, but because the couple went to Mexico, she couldn’t find them even if she wanted to. Now, finally, having a chance to ask for what she wanted, she unexpectedly got caught by this Gu’s man, played back at her.
