Ishur answered Lifia's question with nothing, just a glance at her and immediately turned her neck to the side, distracting her gaze.

"Hold on tight, baby."

Ishur said all that, he saw the mountain peak he was about to land on, and when he let go of her hand, which he was holding, he turned her body around to the side, raised his altitude in such a position that the two would be sidelined, and flew to slip through the night sky.

Build wind walls around the refier to stabilize it from falling down again.

The surrounding mountains are on the western edge of a large mountain mass covering the eastern side of the continent, not so elevated. Ishur landed in a place that was a cut of trees near the summit of the mountain, leaving the body from the rifia. What do you care? I stood in a position to carry the moon against her and stared at Rifia.

"Knock."

Lifia stood alone on the ground, looking at her face, mopping around her left ankle.

"Did you twist your leg..."

And whine in a small voice.

"What?"

The owner of the martial arts arrow? Is that a sprain?

"How?

The intonation went as crazy as I could think. It made me feel a little pitiful.

Once Lifia glanced at this one, she turned her face to the side with a feeling such as "Humph," and returned her face to this one, this time with a slightly sinking look, and she leaned down and dropped.

Hum, I am self completing with great momentum......

I heard this woman is smart, but she could be an out-of-the-box funny one.

As Ishur continued to look silently at Lifia, a little pully, fixing her faceless expression, she gave her face to see if she couldn't stand this strange air, and angrily said her eyes.

"That's not what you know! A royal dog."

Yeah, so to speak, this guy's reaction was hilarious and obnoxious, but this woman already knew who I was.

They flew through the valley at great distances, as if they were spirits. If you have the information that a fairly windy magician and Maryan squire, that means that the royal messenger is accompanied beforehand by someone with a windy magic fixture, then anyone can easily identify me if you think of those two things together.

"Who gave you my information? Your father."

Ishur asked Rifia a a few questions, a little shrewd.

"That's not what you know! Better yet, where am I? Why me and you, you are here, here."

What a bite.

Even though it's night, you can see your face is bright red.

Because I helped you earlier and you just stared at me in the air. The moonlight was beautiful...... You fell in love with me.

Well, I guess it's actually just a little lit up. I guess I grew up as a grand noble princess because I was fond of martial arts and a crusader commander.

Ishur stretched his right hand steadily and pointed and said.

"Kusim is at the end of the other mountain."

And now I said with my left hand firmly extended and fingered.

"There's a lake over there. I don't have any drinking water right now. I was thinking of replenishing the water there."

Seems like a worthy one, but not now.

Ishur even glanced sharply at Rifia.

"It was just me and you who saved me."

The look on Lifia's face changed.

"There is a huge landslide and the area around the Kusim River is buried in dirt and sand. The valley is covered with mud on one side and you can't go back without turning around to Fugo. There is no water on the ground but muddy water. And its muddy water is only in dangerous places."

The water in the river, blocked by dirt and sand, was muddy and accumulating, but it's dangerous to approach it on foot there.

"K, it leaves heavy in the south street of Kusim..., if you go there"

Refia is upset. I can well see her trembling in the light of the moon.

That would be so. If it was just the two of us who survived, what happened to the troops she commanded?

"It was burning like a good one. With the spitting flames of the Red Emperor Dragon, the fire must have gone under the mountain."

"Knock..."

She looked down and shuddered and almost regretted it.

Didn't Rifia see how the main force, which was placed on the ridge of Kusim's mountain during the battle, was wiped out by the puked flames of the Red Emperor Dragon? At that time, in the great earthen smoke in which the mountain collapsed and stood up, the first brilliance of the flame thrown up by the Red Emperor Dragon seemed to have awakened in the mountain across from the mountain where Rifia was falling, in the one with the trench-digged silver mine.

Lifia, who had been leaning down for a while, suddenly looked up all the time and asked what was most important.

Her face is blue and white. It won't just be because of the moonlight.

"... well, yeah, what happened to the Red Emperor Dragon? Are you still sitting over there?

Poor thing.

I don't even know what happened to the weight I've left at the foot of the Silver Mountain, which means I guess I lost my mind there halfway through the situation.

And the troops are wiped out.

You're still a lot the same age as me.

This guy's father is the object of my revenge, but she's not guilty of it herself.

"Looks like he's back in the nest. It was quite profound, so even if I followed it to my nest, it wouldn't come down to people for a while."

Lifia's eyes opened wide.

"Oh, that monster, no way"

Ishur stares at Rifia without loosening his gaze.

If you helped this guy, I definitely wanted to make sure.

"I can tell you what happened to you after you tore, but before that, that landslide, didn't you do something? Let me tell you something first."

To Ishl's question, Rifia bit her lower lip and leaned down.

"You defeated the Red Emperor Dragon..., no, you defeated him"

Refia looks up.

"Then we don't need to go into detail. I'll tell you about the landslide. But bring me back to Kusim before that. You have to take a good look with these eyes. The death of our soldiers..."

Lifia's eyes closed.

Face facing straight ahead, tight mouth. Frown room where wrinkles are carved.

Is this what the mindless expression of a defeated general is?

As a commander of the troops, it would be extremely natural to want to make sure that the battlefield trail that led to the defeat was confirmed, or to want to mourn the soldiers. Refia has restrained herself from heartbreak and switched the subject of negotiations by choosing between what she must know more than what she wants to know and what she considers most important herself.

"Well, fine. But the water supply comes first. Even mountain birds must eat rice along the way. All right?"

We're going back to Fugo anyway, so going through Kusim again isn't far off.

"Ok......"

Lifia nodded powerlessly.

"Bye, see you."

Ishur bent over with his back turned.

"'Cause I'm gonna bust you. You're twisting your legs, aren't you? I want to reach the lake by dawn."

Drink water while it's bright, eat rice, and take a nap. I don't think there will be any warcraft around here yet, but if the Red Emperor Dragon leaves, there will be no Fire Dragon either. Soon other warcraft will appear frequently in the area. It doesn't hurt to stay alert now.

But why did this guy have to frustrate his leg? I'm worried about that, too.

"Gu......"

Refia patrols. I lifted one hand towards Ishur and left about a half step ago, but it stopped there.

Totally...... But wait.

Ishur stood up and turned to her again.

"Did you just say Royal Dog about me? I'm sorry, but I don't serve the royal family."

"Huh...?

Rifia stares at Ishl with a slightly surprising breeze.

"I asked the royal family to rebuild the village where most of the people were killed by Brigal, in return for helping to fight the Red Emperor Dragon."

I got royal acquiescence, there's another thing.

"Become, …"

"I could defeat the Red Emperor Dragon for now. That's the end of my deal with the royal family."

I will not say that there seems to have been interference by the Lord God Jerez. I can't tell anyone.

"Oh, really... isn't that a lie?

"What do you do with lying about this? Instead of letting the Red Emperor dragon crusade take its place, the royal family may hustle and bust my sins down to the castle and destroy the House of the Duke with warmth. But it doesn't matter to me if the village of Bersch doesn't become an abandoned village."

"Mmm..."

Well, you don't even know what suspicions Refia has.

She doesn't know I'm a man of honor or anything. Wherever it is a kingdom, there are no such strangers.

But more than that...

Ishur missed a slight change in her expression, so that she could apply the tip of her gaze to Lifia's face.

Ishur stands in a position where the moon is backlit against Refia. Rifia doesn't know Ishur's sharp gaze from the darkness around him.

The story of myself not serving the royal family, destroying the Baron family, is nothing more than a "gesture" to draw from her.

Lifia has been telling us stories all along.

"Oh well. You..., no, Baron Brigal's brutality was the flag of the Baron's family. Our home also has one end of the blame. I'd like to apologize for being part of the Borderline House."

Refia has bowed her head to Ishl when she changed her expression.

"I know about the enemy your lord did in Ellistar. Your sin is against the royal family. I see it as a sign of your lord's home and thoughts of your land, admirable."

Your Lordship, hey......

As a flag, the Borderline House is merely provisionally granted by the Royal Family the power of military order over the Baron Brigal family, and naturally does not have that authority with regard to the Count or the enclosure. Rifia has said that he sees Baron Brigal's conduct in the village of Bersch as some kind of military action and apologizes, while not in a position to cut off against the enemies Ishl has done, but rather personally admires Ishl's revenge.

Her words are a sign of her honest character… After all, is this okay that she didn't know about the letter that Uncle Borderline sent out to Brigal?

It doesn't look like she's deceiving and lying about it. Doesn't she come to think of the possibility that Uncle Borderline has issued an order for the search for the wind's magic equipment? No, you can easily imagine giving an order, or you wouldn't think its content was all that hard stuff. Everyone should think so. Brigal stormed out in a hurry for kung fu.

Later it's how much Rifia was touching her own housekeeping......

Well, from this feeling of Refia, I have no idea what that letter was sent out to Brigal by Uncle Borderline, and it would be okay to decide.

This stubbornness, or seriousness. Excellent intellect, I also hear, but I guess I'm not in the mood for a dark conspiracy behind me. Same goes for my age. It's not like me with my appearance and mental age apart.

And this, this honesty that comes all the way down to me without any identity.

Lady of the Great Nobility, I thought it might be more like holding her up and down, but I guess it's because the soldiers admire her around here. When the crusaders arrive in Fugo, I think of the temperamental expression of the soldiers who were marching.

He just knows I'm from the Bersch family. My great-uncle didn't tell me anything, and I may not know much because I'm out of the country, but there seems to be a general perception that for the people of the eastern part of the kingdom, the Bersch family is not only a rural land lord, a takeover of a village, but a special old house that goes on from the time of the Urk kingdom, which once gave birth to a great wizard named Yveda's sword, Lehne.

Maybe that's why her altered attitude.

Ishur turned her back and lowered her hips without looking at her as Rifia raised her face.

I silently flushed Lifia's apology. What the hell should I give it back?

"Come on, hurry up. It's gonna be dawn."

"Oh, oh."

Rifia opened her body on his back as she dragged her left leg all the way to the side of Ishur.

I'm stiffening myself.

Ishur snapped at her and went down the mountain.

When Ishur gave his full body a full assist, he skilfully chose a gap in the grass trees despite the night and proceeded to walk lightly.

If you have the magical ability to detect the wind, whether it's in the mountains at night, there's nothing to say.

……

It conveys Rifia's full admiration.

"Well, what happened to your parents..., the Bersch family?

Rifia speaks to Ishl's ear from behind.

But this sweet voice with this hard tone in my ear. I want you to do something about it.

They're all dead.

Ishur stopped walking for a moment and answered her.

"Oh well..."

Rifia made herself harder on Ishur's back.

"Can you lend me your hand?"

By dawn, I reached the lake.

Riffia is kneeling on the shore, shrugging the water from the lake from her hand many times, ringing her throat and drinking.

He didn't even give it to the yawn, but I guess his throat was quite dry.

"Hmm? Why not?

Lifia turned to Ishur standing behind her.

Behind her is the rising morning sun, dyeing the sky and the lake red.

"Boil the water once before drinking. It's not good to drink the water from the lake as it is."

Rifia's gaze gets tight.

Whether humans in this world are highly immune or have few bacteria that do harm to humans, the water in the lake in front of them looks sober and clear, maybe they don't need to worry about hygiene matters, but Ishur didn't like to drink it as it was. Besides, the water to be placed in the water bottle should be boiled at least once.

"Shiatsu......, can you boil it? So why do you need a hand?

Boiling, it seems, is not a very common word.

"Flip that long-handed part, shrug the water, and keep it on fire"

Lifia's hands are made of shiny iron. If you flip it over, it will be kamaboko shaped, but it is narrowed by a curve toward the wrist, so a small amount of water can soak it up. If there is a cloth or leather on the lining, I want to peel it off and use it if possible.

"What?

Refia's gaze becomes increasingly harsh.

This sturdy thing.

Ishur took out the water bottle and let it shake in front of her.

"I don't have a pot or anything. You should put the water in the water bottle through the fire once. That's all you know, isn't it?

Lifia pointed her lips.

Oh, my God. You can even look cute.

Then he also managed to secure the water to be placed in the water bottle, and stabbed one of the mountain birds, which Ishur had caught near the morning lake, with his feathers, and stabbed them in the branches of the tree, sprinkled with salt, and burned them to eat. And I took a nap on the spot.

"Don't worry. I think I can activate my magic appliance now. If something dangerous gets closer, you can get up right away with killing."

Before I took a nap, Rifia came to Ishur, wary of warcraft, wolves, etc., and tried to recall the Spirit.

Around the lake is covered with deep tree greenery. In the meantime, leafy deciduous trees were scattered slightly. Because of the presence of the Red Emperor Dragon, the number of large animals such as Warcraft will be decreasing around here, but this lake should be their watershed. We should also consider the possibility of bowling in with the Ishurs trying to rest by the lake.

"What about your legs? Are you okay with this?

When Ishur points to Lifia's footsteps and says,

"If the magic equipment is activated, there's nothing wrong with it"

Lifia snorted at Ishur's inquiry.

If the martial arts arrows do activate, they may be able to move properly, even if they are fractured instead of sprained. I guess her flesh will be unusually fortified and not in the realm of the common man.

The smile she gave Ishl for the first time was great, but for some reason the fierce feeling was drifting out there quite a bit.

The yang leans west, dyeing the mountains orange.

Since last night, the sunny weather has been shining and the surrounding mountains have been picked up beautifully, with a clear view of the mountain peaks that stretch far beyond the horizon. Some distant mountains wore snow on their tops. The summit of the snowy mountain glowed pink at sunset, making the colours that covered his sight more beautiful and deeper, and entertaining the eyes of the beholder.

When the Red Emperor Dragon left, a time of purity finally arrived in the land.

Ishur had such an emotion somehow.

In front of Ishur there is a girl dyeing her white cape red and crying with her hands on the ground.

The Ishurs were now standing on the opposite peak across the ridge where the silver mine of Kusim was laid out by the Crusader Squad, across the valley where the Red Emperor Dragon sat.

In front of the two eyes is a distorted semi-dome covering made of iron and the bodies of the knights of Boris and the Borderline Army. It was where Ishur found and helped Refia yesterday.

They returned to the land again after taking a nap by the lake.

Instead of the crusaders telling us what Rifia had done about the chosen mountains that spread in front of her, Ishur accepted her hope and brought her to the land.

Ishur carried the rifia, assisted by the wind from the shore of the lake, faster than last night while sometimes also mixing big leaps, and the valley, which picked up the rifia that fell off Ishur's back the same night, jumped even longer distances at once and stood down on the ridge where there happened to be a silver mine of Kusim.

At first, Rifia, who was surprised by Ishur's movements, was also used to the scenery that eventually fluctuated in front of her and felt just a little happy with its power, "Wow!," "Wow," he said with a small cheer.

But when she got off Ishur's back and stood on the summit of her own black-burned Kusim, she erased that smile and turned her face bright blue.

Is that trench your idea?

Ishur said, pointing to a trench dug on the slope opposite the valley where the Red Emperor dragon was.

The top of the black-burned mountain ridge continues as far ahead of sight as a trench as deep as a man's shoulder interrupts.

"Zanjo? You mean the trench?

Lifia's eyes turned to Ishur were red and congested. My voice is shaking slightly.

"Yes."

Lifia took her gaze off Ishur and looked at the trench and said: The tone is firm.

"That is what I commanded the soldiers to dig. In major siege battles in the past, there is a record that the siege side dug trenches to counteract the enchantress. Lord Auben has helped us."

Drate Auben, the magician of the earth? Did you still use the product?

She has said the same thing about Marya. I honestly envy them aristocrats for being able to deal with this kind of literature and books, called Grand Duke's, immersed in the royal library when they were younger.

"Right. You weren't anxious to be noticed by the Red Emperor Dragon?

I can't see Rifia's face from here.

"I was convinced that when I heard Lord Lubrect's report I could do it. It was at night that I dug the trenches, paying close attention without making any noise, but in fact, the Red Emperor Dragon did not notice. No, I was aware of it, but maybe I ignored it."

Lifia spoke pale, keeping her back to this one.

Up to this point, it pretty much matches what I was thinking and what Marya was saying.

"Bye."

Ishur raised his right arm and pointed to the broken mountain across the valley, saying:

"That landslide, is that the Red Emperor Dragon or did you do it, let me explain"

Refia turned around. On its face, you can see a glimmer of tears on its cheeks.

"Around there. This is where I was when my army fought the Red Emperor Dragon. Can you take me over there?

Lifia also raised her arms and pointed at her.

She was just unconscious and down. Refia pointed to a domed little shadow floating at the top of the mountain.

As Ishur unloaded, she pulled her sprained legs and walked over to the front, to the iron dome where even the burnt Boris was.

"I hear you've all worked hard to protect you. Boris and the court magicians knew each other. They did what they had to do."

Refia turned sharply toward Ishur. There are clear tears in his eyes this time.

Ishur's words would have sounded like other HR-like mouthpieces that didn't make her feel anything. It might be in good shape enough to irritate her a little right now and make her have anger emotions.

Rifia in front of her was sending a harsh gaze, but Ishl looked weak and flimsy as if she were a small flower that could be broken by hand at the tip of her finger.

Explain it to me.

Ishur asked her to explain the landslide mercilessly, staring at her silently.

If you can hold on to your feelings by turning your anger on my attitude, that's fine.

The likeness of this battlefield is too harsh for fifteen or six girls, no matter how many of them are lords or commanders of crusades.

Rifia strayed from Ishur's gaze and began to speak quietly as she turned forward again. I could not feel any anger in that voice, backwards from the look on her face. There was no deception of fear, no pity for himself, no oblivion. Only slight sorrow was felt.

"On the night before the battle began, when soldiers began digging trenches in the mountains across the street, we moved to this mountain on the other side. And he went down to the foothills opposite the sleeping valley of the Red Emperor Dragon. So I activated the arrows of the martial arts, and followed the instructions of Lord Auben, and struck dozens of iron piles into the slopes of the mountain that I had made the soldiers carry."

Lifia did her gaze at the dictated mountain dent down the front.

Ishur sighed small.

I got a bad feeling about it. No, I was hoping for a moment, just as I expected. The Rifias did the collapse in front of them and the earthquake that swallowed up the mercenary troops.

"Then Lord Auben moved the pile buried in the ground further inward, and Lord Dogourus branched the iron pile into several branches, stretching its tip in all directions. The number of piles punched into the mountain skin was high, causing hardship for both of them. At dawn I was ready to crumble the mountains all at once."

Refia suppresses her emotions and continues to talk pale.

A breeze blowing up the summit is shaking her long hair slightly.

And even though more than one magic was activated, did the Red Emperor Dragon not notice? No, I guess I ignored it even if I noticed. It was to that extent for him. It would be the same thing that nearly a thousand people ignored even when they approached.

"Then he took every morning of his dormancy and began the attack two minutes after sunrise. When Lord Rubrekt went out to see things, the time nearest to the Red Emperor Ryu, where Lord Rubrekt slept, was around."

"Is the attack a landslide? You broke the mountain and buried the sleeping Red Emperor Dragon with dust, didn't you?

Refia turned around. I was in danger from her eyes. Now Ishur turned his sharp gaze.

"That's right. Lord Auben was just a magician of the earth, and he knew exactly where in the mountains he could strike a pile, crush the rocks in the earth, and let magic flow to which point he could collapse. Besides, it's a bald mountain that breathes water in bad weather all day."

"... you've thought it all through"

Ishur's harsh expression remains unchanged.

The opposing rifia shrugged her neck slightly to be under barometric pressure. Ishur's attitude was entirely on the side of the questioning.

"Yes..."

Lifia leaned down and answered without force.

You know what I'm going to tell you next. Because you must be smart.

"You stood firm on Boris and the court magicians and kept secrets from your own soldiers, as well as from Marya Aeren, the royal messenger."

Ishur narrowed his eyes even more. It's not just Refia, it's also drawing blood from his face.

Why did Rifia keep it a secret? Maybe one of the reasons I grabbed the information I was accompanying. What she feared was that Marya would disagree and the royal side would come in the way of the operation. And to be deprived of the credit of the Red Emperor Dragon Crusade.

Maybe it was after we left Fugo that we revealed everything to the Boris. But in any case, they kept secrets and cooperated fully with Refia. It is an op-ed that seems like everyone could win the Red Emperor Dragon Crusade. Even they would have given credit and didn't want to die.

"While keeping secrets from Marya, you gave her your opinion on the mercenary troop's path. You knew that. That mountain."

Ishur pointed to a collapse under his eyes, a large blur that was decided upon.

"Not only will we bury the Red Emperor Dragon if we crumble that mountain, but the massive amount of dirt and sand will also crumble the mountain hem around the ground loose due to rain, eventually burying bridges and streets downstream of the Kusim River,"

Ishur lowered his arm and stared at Rifia.

"Mercenary units are wiped out thanks to you. You killed him."

The mercenaries never looked like the Red Emperor Dragon and disappeared after being drunk by the earthquake stream.

Lifia's energetic face is covered with both hands. When the face disappeared, she dropped her hips and went into the ground.

The voice of a girl crying hard crawls up from Ishur's foothold.

Ishur looked far away and around the disappearance of the mercenaries.

"Don't cry. We're not done talking yet."

Ishur took her hand and forced her to stand.

Said the mountain crumbler in a harsh and cold tone with his jaw.

"That one collapsed, then what happened? Be careful and talk properly."

Lifia looked up.

Because Ishur told me to take a good care of myself, or because she has only once, with tears, clearly turned her gaze to Ishur's eyes. And turned his face to where he had fallen himself. She woke up for a little while, tried to shed tears, and started talking.

"... So, the mountain successfully collapsed on the valley side with the Red Emperor Dragon and covered the Red Emperor Dragon with dirt sand. The whole mountain rocked violently. The mountain soil was damp with rain, but covered with tremendous earth smoke around it..., I made sure that the Red Emperor Dragon slept with his neck buried on the side of his torso, so I thought it was certain that it was buried with dirt sand to his head. I felt a good response from the collapse of the mountains, the spread of dirt and sand, and the rise of soil and smoke."

Lifia's throat rings.

"I expected that if the mountain collapsed, my vision would not work due to intense earthquake smoke. I had asked His Highness Edvard beforehand to blow the earth smoke with the magic of the wind. I think Lord Edvard has exhausted his death by recalling the Spirit as well. But the earthen smoke didn't clear easily. They all covered their faces with arms about what happened to the Red Emperor Dragon, bending over and avoiding dirt and dust, wanting to see what was going on at the bottom of the valley. That was only for a little while. That's when a big, long black shadow floated across the earth smoke. I activated my magic apparatus aggressively. But my vision was unclear, and I watched."

Lifia also slipped her hips into the ground.

"Wow, I had to lay my neck on the Red Emperor Dragon at that time, and stab him in the head with a sword. Perhaps that was the perfect opportunity. The black shadow blew fire on the mountain across the street. A loud roar sounded and the mountain across the street stained bright red. I felt like I heard the soldiers screaming mixed with the roar. I lost myself in awe. My legs cramped and my whole body shook out. After that... it's dark in front of me, and it's over. I've lost my mind, I'm sure."

She put her hands on the ground and screamed.

"I am! That's when I realized I was scared. We are all dead because of what I cowered. I had to fight him then. It's my fault! I... ugh."

My back is shaking.

Ishur stared at her back. Behind it is a domed, instant iron shield made by Boris with the blade of the great sword of Riffia stretched out.

Perhaps when the Red Emperor Dragon blew the flame, the magic fixture didn't work enough because she was severely upset. As his flames began to circle the valley, the knights around him jumped on her and pushed her down to the brink, covering her at the expense of all of her. A sprain on Rifia's left leg would also be from that time.

The girl in front of me was to bear a big cross without interruption with this. I was to suffer profoundly and heavily.

Your distress... no, more than mine. It looks a little like me.

And I'm trying to take your father away from you. I'm about to bear even deeper grief for you.

In the customs of the continent, enemies, or heavy enemies, are not recommended, but are not even considered illegal.

If I kill Uncle Border, Refia will definitely come up with a challenge. We'll have to deal with her the way she wants then. I hope I can do more without killing you......

But this girl's strategy was as good as her reputation. I have set up a combined operation, perhaps at the highest level, of my abilities, of the courtroom demon mentors I have been seconded to, and of the terrain and circumstances on the ground.

Wizards in this world don't pay much attention to the use of magic in an applied way or in combination with other magic, etc. I lean my soul towards magic techniques that have long been passed down, knowing and faithfully carrying out business, and increasing its power. Riffia used the magic of herself and Boris and others, indirectly, to do the same level as the great magic of breaking the whole mountain.

Liphia, Boris and the rest of the army, close to a thousand men, are small enough to take as much as the Red Emperor Dragon. We brought the Red Emperor Dragon, who was an absolute presence against people, into such a situation that perhaps he could be killed.

No. But wouldn't you be able to read more deeply? The candidacy of the dispatched court magician does not feel as if he was chosen and dispatched in anticipation of the operation that Refia would devise. And then if you know the terrain of Kusim......

If the choice of court magician is by request, then the mastermind is Uncle Borderline or Grand Duke. If it was done in the royal palace, it would mean that so many wise men are in the king's capital.

No, no, is that still too much to think about? Including Marya, a female swordsman who uses the magic of acceleration in four systems, except for the water, where the lineage of dispatched wizards is few in the kingdom. For now, it's more natural to think that it was a standard candidate who could handle any situation.

Eyes on Rifia. She's still crying.

Either way, she looked into the trenches and the operation to break down the mountain herself and said she thought about it.

One more step, and the mercenary forces are involved, and the crusaders are wiped out. She's the only one who survived.

Only one of the defeated generals has survived. How humiliating is this to her?

It's this innocent personality. I wonder how many things she's going to carry in.

Ishur looked at the western sky. Far away, Frontera, in the direction of the King's Capital. The sun is on the horizon, and its sun extends long and everywhere to the north and south.

Clean white girl. If that's real, I'll at least give her the food to live. Instead of taking my father.

Ishur turned away from the sunset, approaching Rifia and placing her hand on her shoulder.

"Refia."

Calling her name for the first time.

Refia turns around. The face is dirty after tears.

"I need you to listen to me. You must still live as a member of the Borderline House. You must take responsibility for this defeat."

Rifia stares at Ishl. She says nothing.

"Therefore thou shalt make amends. For the dead."

"What..."

Rifia tells me to whisper.

"There is a way to make amends. Make good to the dead, to the people of the house left behind, to the families."

"Ho ho...?

"That's right. If he was a minister who gave his credit in battle but died, he would sometimes give a prize to those who inherited the house, wouldn't he? If I don't have a successor, I'll take care of my adopted son. Give him the money, too, to the soldiers' families. If anyone has trouble eating, take care of his job. If anyone's in trouble, you can help them."

Lifia's eyes open wide.

"Even the soldiers..."

"Yes."

This mindset is not yet common in this world. Lower ranks of soldiers are collected and imposed by the people as servants. Those who serve the Lords and those in the lower echelons are often not compensated for anything, even if they have survivors. The general soldiers working for the Lords are dominated by the second son of a poor farmer, three boys, etc. If he dies, that's it.

"With sincerity and mercy, atone to the families of the ministers and soldiers who admired you. Whether you're up or down."

It will not be until a modern state is formed that compensation for war dead survivors and wounded servicemen has begun. Could it have started around England or France?

This world is not in those times. The relationship between lords and inhabitants, nobles and common people is not the same as the relationship between a modern state and its people.

I do not think it is easy to overturn that, nor do we need to work on change as quickly as possible. For some reason, crops in general grow well in this world and starvation occurs infrequently. Lords' taxation is rarely a major burden for the inhabitants. It is difficult to have a definitive conflict between a ruler and a ruler. But instead of the Lords guaranteeing their inhabitants ownership of the land, public arbitration, and just a few polices, it would be quite meaningful to change and step in at all the relationships they have to exploit.

There is also a sense in the people of this continent to think of what the Lords do more for their ministers and their people as good deeds. Plant a sense of purpose by teaching Refia just a little bit about how to think after recent times. I hope that leads to a little hope of her life, I suppose.

"I'm going to need a lot of money. The Borderline House will also suffer from the military costs of the Red Emperor's Dragon Crusade. It also costs money to rebuild Kusim Silver Mountain"

"Oh, oh..."

Lifia nods ambiguously with a flashy look.

"Kusim, what percent of the rise of Silver Mountain are you paying the royal family?

"Oh, that's..."

"Well, fine. Collect luxury merchants from the realm, Frontera, and Wang Capital, and collect some of the Silver Mountain as collateral. How many direct realms of the Borderline House are in the realm? Take that as collateral, too. The restructuring of the Knights is behind us. Sell all the art in the castle and everything that will be gold. Still, if you don't have enough money, put the castle in collateral, too. Consider issuing bonds for residents. If you collect a small amount of money, it will be a lot of money. Collect the money anyway."

Ishur deliberately mumbled so as not to give Lifia a a gap to pinch the words.

Momentum. Momentum builds.

"I want to make the temple in the city bigger for the reconstruction of Kusim, or make it extra money from the Cathedral Church. If you don't have enough money, you can split the compensation for the survivors into pensions. Streamline your work by gathering families and clerical methods to set up specialized departments for compensation, reconstruction and financial measures. Keep spending down by abolishing old customs and pointless events in the house in general. Screw your father. Huh?"

Though you won't have to screw it.

"Oh, oh, no"

"You know what I'm talking about?

"Mostly..."

Lifia nodded unconfidently. I'm rounding my eyes.

Borderline uncle territory is not like other territory. There is the largest silver mountain in the kingdom and beyond. Huge debts, but as long as the silver mining lasts, I can pay it back someday.

"You'll be royal later. Four court magicians have lost their lives. You got something to say to me? Your father will do something about it, but, well, we'll have to increase the royal share of Silver Mountain revenues a little and engage in pursuit."

Ishur raised the hand he had placed on Lifia's shoulder.

Fingertips remained sloppy, and at the tip of his hands raised was the flowing valley of the river Kusim, covered with mud.

Ishur used magic.

From that realm, I tease magic from within me.

In a muddy covered valley, thin grooves carve out loose curves. Mud and rocks wound up from the ditch become fine particles and blow up into the sky, flying towards the back of the mountain to the east.

Ishur punched the wind wall into a (only) shape in what appears to have once been the river muscle of the river Kusim, chopping and blowing up the mud on both sides of the exuberance with the wind.

Ishur's magic continued to activate as long as his vision lasted, as far downstream of the valley, carving new river muscles into the valley.

There is no significant change in the sensing radius due to Ishur's magic. But with the new power he gained after fighting the Red Emperor Dragon, the magical effective radius he activates expanded more explosively than before. Previously its radius was about 500-600 long steps (skull, about 300-400 m), but now it extends to the limits of a range of five senses, predominantly vision.

Ishur naturally felt that when his health was on its way to demodulation and his magic came back to life. The surrounding view from Kusim Silver Mountain, illuminated by the sunset and with the shadows of the mountains running diagonally. Until the end of its sight, Ishur was able to use magic.

"Wow......"

Lifia leaked a small, admirable voice into the quiet development of the magnificent magic unfolding in the mountains.

She wasn't crying anymore.

Ishur went on to lay his hands on a large pond-like reservoir upstream, blocked by accumulated dirt and sand.

He punched and grooved holes in the mud and rock walls so that they fell on the newly applied river muscle, holding back the surrounding mud and rock walls from deciding at once, and adjusting them so that the accumulated river water flowed down a bit.

The water that was blocked flows into the new river muscle and flows quietly downstream.

If left unattended, the mud walls that were blocking the river's water would one day break down, and the artillery water, again, would soil flow occur?

From Fugo, Marya and the others may already be turning from the south or north to the land to see what's going on. Even for their safety, Ishur really wanted to do this.

Ishur created new river muscles in mud and rock-covered valleys to prevent disasters that might recur by washing away accumulated water, and at the same time tested the magical power of the newly obtained wind.

A magical wind blew quietly through the mountain river of Kusim, which nodded at sunset.

"... and then you go on planting in the surrounding mountains."

Ishur told Lifia, as if to speak to herself.

And I turned around in front of her as she sat down, taking her hand and letting her stand.

Ishur looked into her eyes and said.

"Let's not cry anymore. We need to feed ourselves on remorse and grief."

Just like I've done. As everyone has done.

There was tears in Lifia's eyes again. She eats up her teeth and endures.

"Huh, Refia?"

Lifia nodded.

Finally, a tear broke out and spilled. A little Shizukuishi tells her cheek.

Still, Rifia keeps staring straight at Ishur.

My lips tremble and I try to make a smile.

"Thank you, Ishur"

"Well, shall we go back to Fugo?"

Ishur turned his gaze toward the mountains with the fugo.

and Rifia has offered both hands at the edge of Ishur's sight.

"Hmm?"

She looks a little shy when Ishur turns her face to Rifia.

"... obu,... do it"

Lifia smiled a little, but for some reason she exhaled painfully. The last one had a low voice and I didn't hear it very well.

Lifia's face is bright red in the sunset. Probably because of the sunset.

Ishur turned his back silently and immediately, succumbing.

Are you Marya? I'm more ashamed of this one I was told......

My face gets hot. I can see my face turning red.

It's devastating. In many ways.

Ishur felt like she couldn't help it.

Walk southwest across the Riffia to the mountain ridge with only dirt and rocks. Where the scaffolding looks bad, put on a magical assist and jump lightly to do it over.

Continue southwest to the mountain peak telling, around the bush of trees, turn northeast and go for the fugo. Do you want to go like that?

As Ishur contemplated a safe route to Fugo, his power to grab Ishur's shoulder in Rifia suddenly grew stronger.

Just around the edge of the silver mountain peak of Kusim, where trenches were dug.

"I don't like going to Fugo. I want to stop by the lake again."

Lifia's voice was small. I get a hot exhale in Ishur's ear.

"Then let's go south looking for a creek in the woods. I think if we go for a few days, we'll hit a village called Zola. From there, I'm sending my men out to Fugo to call the Away Corps."

Ishur turned his gaze to his left hand, to the south.

I can see the lake that was there until after noon across the mountain from the valley. It reflects an evening sky that turns from red to purple, with a harmonious gradient on the lake.

"That might be closer than turning up to the fugo. Safe on the road. I'm sure."

Rifia has teased both arms to Ishl's neck. Refia's forehead hits Ishur's neck.

she whispered.

"Please, Ishl..."
