When I woke up the next morning I was asleep in Alistair's bed and there was still muddy next door but no Alistair.

"Yo."

This is not the sound of getting up. That's what it sounded like when I got out of bed. Alistair's regular adult bed was a little expensive for me because he attached a tall bed to allow me to get right down at the mansion.

But toddlers have toddler ways. If you go down carefully from your feet, you'll manage to get down without falling. And probably, the door was a little open for when I woke up, so I went out of there.

Everyone's talking in the dining room right down the hall. I think I can get my hands on the wall, okay.

"Arishuda!

"Oh, Leah? Good morning."

Alistair gently ran up the stairs, pulling my hand and slowly descending. Do not do anything dangerous. It soon became breakfast as my morning voice rang. As I was holding the bread I had sliced thinly,

"Leah is going to the Demon Stone Shop with me and Alistair."

and Bart said with a serious face.

"Ah."

But I need you to promise Leah something.

"What?

I wonder what you want me to promise.

"I want you to make sure that you can put magic into the Stone."

I wonder why. Even though it's money.

"Being magical means it's worth using. You'll soon find out you're related to the Four Horses of Kingdoms with your eyes and hair alone. Then there's the guy out there who wants just that. It means it won't add any more value. I mean, if you don't want to be exposed again, stay quiet. All right."

"Ah."

Caro spurted out on the side.

"I know that. He said he's a toddler. Leah needs to be a little more baby-ish."

"Aye."

I guess everyone knows I'm a slightly weird toddler and this is the response. Thank you.

But I also had something I wanted to ask you to do when I got to town. Alistair said when we first met, we had to go to someone's wife or come about ourselves. That was all I had then. But now that I'm in town, I think there's still something I can do.

"Ria, please, Ariju"

"What?

Bart looked at me unexpectedly. I guess it's because I don't really want to do this.

"Ouch, Ria, Ren Riku"

"Ren Rik? Oh, contact me."

Burt looked like he hadn't thought about it.

"Contact me. Letters, sure. Bye. The messenger, he's an ant, but if he's a messenger, he'll have to go back to Carey. So I can ask a merchant on the Kingdomside, maybe. It costs a fortune. But, Leah, you just don't have a family name or an address."

There's no way a one-year-old knows his family name or anything. So they didn't ask you about the house? I don't think I should say it by accident. But I did already trust these young people.

"Kamei, Kiriku"

Bart opened his eyes.

"You. Exactly. No way. I don't want to hear it, but just say it."

"Ria Ourubansu"

Someone sounded like they were taking a breath. The Four Horsemen of Kingdoms are still famous, I guess.

"Yes, for example, what's your father's name..."

"So no, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh."

Now it's time we all shut up.

"How high is the Four Horses rate when there are two direct family members of the Four Horses, this house..."

In that silence Caro snapped and Alistair glanced down at her lips. I knew Alistair was drawing the blood of the Four Horses, too.

"Guru Risuba-n"

Alistair looked up all the time to my words.

"Giru, Uncle Arishu. Oh, my goodness."

"Gil, you were the first to say it. Do you know him?"

I nodded.

"To, together. Together."

But in that serious atmosphere, the mill suddenly laughed out.

"Ha, ha, it's called Four Horse Rate, I've never even heard that word. Four Horse Rate, Ha"

"Miriu..."

It's a shame. But thanks to that, the atmosphere of serenity returned to everyone.

"Well, Alistair doesn't want to go back to Kingdom because of circumstances. Leah wants to go back. You shouldn't be with me. Either way, this can't be on our side. There's nothing I can do right now, so I'll talk to the mayor later. Is that all right?

"Aye. Please."

Should we have talked a little earlier? At least when we met. But I couldn't afford that then, and I wasn't sure if I could trust you that much.

"No, Leah"

Burt stood up and pounded my head. I guess my thoughts were conveyed.

"If I'd gone to Carey then, I wouldn't have thought. But I think it was more likely that if we were the only hunters to take you, you wouldn't be able to go home to King Dam because we were dressed in kidnapping wet clothes. Carey's got a border guard."

Is the border so separated from Kingdoms?

"I'm sure you'll hear from the other side about the mayor. Until then, let's make life right in Trent Force."

"Ah."

I'm leaving for the Demon Stone Shop.
