Rebuild World

2 Alpha support

Alpha laughs at Akira, who is escaping the monster and exhaling (mostly) relief.

'What do you say? It would have been nice to have my support, wouldn't it?

"Ah, oh. Thanks to you, I didn't have to die. Thanks."

Remnants of excitement and agitation caused by the raid of monsters. Running to death and disturbed breathing. The alert that twisted (twisted) me to someone I didn't know what to do. Appreciation for getting help. willingness to try to settle down anyway. Akira had the expression of various others.

Alpha was observing the other person's expression and exploring its insides, grinding Akira's vigilance with a charming smile.

"How are you doing? I was just enjoying my first performance, and I'd like to talk about what's going to happen. '

"Oh."

Snort once and for all as you gaze at them so Alpha tells you what's very important.

'I'll have Akira attack the ruins I designate. It's a lot of difficulty in another ruin not here. To be clear, it is impossible to attack with the strength of Akira today. Even with my awesome support, I'm sure I'll die along the way. Instead of surviving, we can't even get there alive. Therefore, Akira will acquire equipment and technology to attack the site as a previous stage. Make that your immediate goal...'

I feel signs that the conversation is going to last a long time, and Akira pinches her mouth a little hard to say (hard).

"Um, do you have a minute?

"What? If there's something you're not sure about, don't hesitate to ask me anything."

"I know that's not true, and that's an important story, too, but can we put our future plans and future stories behind us and prioritize the story to get back from here alive first?

Alpha stops talking and smiles meaningfully. And keep staring at Akira silently. Akira hardened her expression slightly.

(… yummy (first). Did I piss you off? Would it have been better if you hadn't pinched your mouth on the way?

The Weapon Dogs are still roaming around the building. I can't keep hiding on the roof forever. If you don't manage to overcome this predicament, it doesn't exist for you from now on. I pinched my mouth out of that anxiety and impatience, but Akira now realizes that if Alpha's mood is damaged in the first place, the very means to overcome this predicament could disappear.

Akira's face seeps with haste and anxiety. When Alpha confirmed it, she laughed without even showing how she cared.

'Okay. I want to calm down and listen to a lot of things too, and let's get out of here and get back to Kugamayama City first. The conversation continues after leaving the ruins. Is that good?'

"Oh. Please."

Akira exhaled relief (mostly) when the prospect of survival increased dramatically and the mood of the key person did not have to be compromised.

However, Alpha smiles and gives new instructions so as to crush the relief.

"Then go back down now."

Akira blew out in surprise and gently coughed. After he manages to recover from it, he stands still with a sudden (astute) look on Alpha.

Alpha walks a little and invites Akira to lead the way, not trying to move as instructed, without moving at all into that Akira's condition either.

"What's wrong? Let's go. '

Akira protests in panic.

"No, I guess you just got away from there!? Why are you going back there!? There are still monsters wandering down there!?

'While you may cordially explain the reasons for the instructions, make sure you travel slowly. If Akira doesn't trust my support, I can't help it. I won't force you.'

Alpha says so, leaving Akira and walking towards the entrance and exit leading into the building.

The fear of returning to the dead was stopping Akira from legging. But when he saw Alpha disappear into the building, he ate and tied his teeth and followed him.

I'm not sure I'll survive to the city on my own. And at least thanks to Alpha for surviving the earlier death. So even if it seems reckless at first sight, following its instructions should be the choice that raises the best chance of survival. Believing that now, I hurried to the bottom of the unsuspecting.

When I walked into the building, Alpha was right at the entrance and exit (by my side), and I just smiled (cheeks) when I said I was waiting. Akira followed Alpha down the stairs with a strange sense of defeat and embarrassment.

I ran up the stairs desperately once, and now I'm going down pretty slowly. He stops each time he is instructed to pause many times along the way and goes down again under instructions to resume.

"... so why are you going back downstairs? Is it dangerous?

It's dangerous.

Alpha replied softly. After Akira was stunned for a moment, she hurried back and asked.

"Wait a minute! Is it dangerous?

It's where the monsters roam, right? There will be no reason to be safe. You came to the ruins without even knowing that? I thought you were just very unlucky to have been attacked earlier?

"Well, that's true, but that wouldn't be the story. Explain it properly. If you're traveling, would you be kind enough to explain it to me?

"In order for Akira to survive safely from the ruins of Kuzhara Street to Kugamayama City, we need to get out of this building first. I don't think Akira has the strength to jump off the roof without dying, so I need to use the stairs to get down...... '

To Alpha, who tries to talk in detail until she doesn't have to explain it, Akira pinches her mouth in a slightly stronger tone when she smiles (but) at her face in disgruntlement and disbelief.

"Okay. Just tell me this. If we do what Alpha tells us, I'll make it home alive, okay?

Alpha answers with a true face.

"I think we have a better chance of surviving than Akira can handle on her own. I told you before, I won't force you. If you can't trust my instructions, I won't support Akira either. It's no use doing that. '

Alpha is waiting for a response as she stares at Akira. Depending on Akira's response, her relationship with Alpha is broken.

After temporarily scratching, Akira answers with a little self-loathing.

"... sorry. I'm sorry. I'll follow Alpha's instructions, so help me."

Smile like Alpha fixed her mood.

'Okay. Once again, be nice. "

I was relieved (mostly) from the inside that it was dangerous, but still my anxiety remains. Ask Akira if she is scared.

"… and to reduce anxiety (if possible), I want you to tell me the reason for that instruction as clearly as possible, and just briefly."

"There are individual differences in Weapon Dog behavior patterns. Something to track down everywhere when you spot an enemy. Something that doesn't come out of a specific range. Something that keeps surrounding enemies from losing sight of them. Something that goes right back to where it belongs. As a result of my identification of the differences between those individuals, I have determined that if Akira returns downstairs at that point, the number of monsters she encounters on her way home will drop dramatically. Weapon ammunition from Weapon Dog firearms is produced from manufacturing organs in the body. And there's a limit to the amount of ammunition you can hold in your body. Once you run out of ammunition in your possession, it will take time for new ammunition to be generated and reloaded into the firearm. In the meantime, even if the Weapon Dog finds you again, you're much less likely to get shot in the back on the way out. There's a chance they'll try to kill you, but if you're close enough to bite, you're more likely to be able to defeat even a less powerful pistol. After a comparative examination of all the other elements in addition to that major one, I gave instructions to move down. Could you be a little more specific, though I've explained it fairly succinctly?

"... no, enough.... I wish you would have given me that explanation on the roof"

Add to Akira, who also looks a little dissatisfied, a smile (cheeks) as Alpha preaches the young child.

"In dangerous situations, there are many things you can't afford to explain at length. If you don't explain one thing to me, Akira will die in it. If we talk extreme, they'll shoot us between the eyebrows in three seconds, so you can just lay on the floor right now and explain, but they'll shoot you in the middle of an explanation. He told me to lie down and ask me why, but the results are the same. I can't touch Akira, so I can't keep Akira down on the floor without doing everything I can. If you can't move quickly because you can't convince me to ask why, I knew Akira would die. I'm explaining this to you because I've decided that it's safe to do so now?

…… Okay. "

While Akira was convinced of Alpha's story, she felt that the more she heard, the more content she would return pointing out her shortcomings, and was slightly drooling and nodding.

Look at the trail of the attack Akira nearly killed herself back to the ground floor and make her expression look bad. As soon as I looked around and made sure there were no monsters, I exhaled gently to ease the tension and ease that look. But the loosening and relief (mostly) also disappeared when Alpha started talking with a serious expression again.

'Akira. Listen to the instructions I'm going to give you now. And do as you can with that instruction. Every time you do something other than what I tell you, you have a better chance of dying. All right?'

"Wow, okay."

"Within thirty seconds of now, run out of the building with all your might. When you leave the building, turn left and keep running on the road (Michima) with all your strength without looking back no matter what. As soon as I give the instructions, look back, put a gun in the front and fire all the bullets immediately. All right? '

"... ok"

Time runs out if you ask me why I've been instructing you. Akira already knew about that. Akira snorted firmly at Alpha, with a harrowing look mixed with threats.

Move sideways so that Alpha gives way to Akira. And I pointed to Bill's exit as I looked at Akira.

Look out of the building with Akira's pulled look. There are also traces of Weapon Dog attacks there. It's a sight of death. Take the position (for) to run out of momentum. I lean forward slightly (to) rush toward where I escaped desperately. But my leg stays stopped like it was stuck on the floor.

Akira was hesitant. Apart from understanding, convincing and acting. Understood and convinced, but wasn't ready enough to move it into action.

Alpha begins second reading.

"Five, four, three..."

What will happen when the time runs out? Akira imagined the result only for a moment and ran out of the building ready.

Keep running at all costs through the valleys of the semi-destructed skyscrapers. Anyway, keep running in a hurry. Immediately my breath starts to run out and my running speed starts to drop. Still keep running desperately. Cardiopulmonary function starts screaming and legs continue to kick the paved hard ground start complaining of pain. Keep running with patience for that pain.

There are no monsters around. I don't even hear the sound of someone engaging. Akira begins to doubt that she will continue to run at all costs just a little bit like this.

I feel like the silence around me tells me I'm the only one in the ruins. My lungs, legs and heart continue to demand rest as I curse. Akira keeps running, listening to the demands of her body complaining of a little pain.

There's nothing forward. I can't hear anything from the rear either. Is everything okay now? Such thoughts come to mind unconsciously and begin to loosen slightly. In the meantime, the pain and fatigue that had kept running and hoarding had mastered Akira's consciousness at once.

You'll be fine now. Akira stopped to rest just a little and looked back (to make sure she was safe at the rear). Even though he was pushed so hard, he defied Alpha's instructions.

Akira stiffens. At the end of that gaze, a little further away, was the appearance of a large monster. There was only one, not a herd, but the power of that giant was beyond the herd of wepon dogs that attacked Akira.

The monster had a similar look to the Weapon Dog I saw a while back. From his back he grows a giant cannon. However, unlike the Weapon Dogs who made the herd, the dog part was generally distorted (snoring), with eight legs and asymmetrical leg positions, and appeared to be selling fights (squabbling) to functional beauty.

The skewed (boiled) head resembling a dog had two vertical eyes to the right and one eye to the left. The size of the eyes is also inconsistent, and it seems suspicious whether it is possible to obtain a true (decent) vision even when thinking about the skewed (boiled) way of the head.

But those eyes held on to Akira.

The monster opens his mouth and growls. More cannon on the back raises the fire. A shell fired lands a little further from Akira and explodes. The debris at the landing point is blown away.

Thanks to the rubble scattering the power of the explosion to reduce damage to the surrounding area, Akira was left unharmed by a weak blast.

Show how the monster tries to shoot the cannon in his back again. But no shells were fired. I'm out of ammo. Then the monster raised his roar (howl) again and began to run for Akira with his misaligned legs.

Akira stood still long after she looked back. I couldn't move even after the monster ran out.

"Run!

I can't see Alpha anywhere, but only her voice resonated strongly in Akira's ear. With that scolding Akira returns to me gradually. Instantly starts running wild to death in desperate shape. But I had already allowed most of them to get close. If I had kept running without looking back, I would have earned more distance from the monsters. As Alpha warned, Akira defied Alpha's instructions, which greatly increased her chances of dying.

Akira kept running, ignoring all the complaints from her whole body of pain. The footsteps of monsters heard from the rear are getting louder and louder.

The monster runs relatively slowly due to distorted (snoring) leg behavior. Thanks to you, Akira still doesn't have to be chased. But whenever I step on the ground with a leg that supports the giant, I'm shaking the ground and making a noise. It conveyed to Akira the weight of the giant and the seriousness of the leg power supporting it.

Whenever that sound sounds, whenever the vibrations are transmitted, Akira's spirit is relentlessly shredded. If they crush you with those legs, you can be sure that there will be no one left behind.

Alpha appears next to Akira, who keeps running desperately. He had a serious, but slightly silly, mixed look as he moved to glide slightly.

'So I told you not to look back on your own. Follow my instructions properly next time. I'll tell you when to look back and shoot, so you can fit in as best you can.'

"Shooting!? What am I supposed to do with a pistol like that!?

"I've said it many times, but I'm not saying it's impossible."

"Please!

When Akira answers to consume precious breathing opportunities and scream, Alpha smiles (cheeks) a little satisfied.

'Don't try to target me badly. To point the gun at the front and quickly shoot out all bullets. That's good, huh?

"Okay!

Alpha begins the second reading as she folds her finger.

"Five, four, three..."

Akira makes up her mind with a desperate look. If it stays like this, I'll just die. We just have to do it now.

"... two, one, zero!

Akira looked back quickly, putting up a gun without aiming and pulling the trigger immediately.

Just ahead of the gunpoint, a monster's giant eyeball existed. A bullet fired at close range breaks through the eyeball and is swallowed up by the head of the monster.

Akira keeps shooting guns close to semi-frequent. All those bullets are successively swallowed up in the head of the monster. It causes a lot of damage to the monster's head from the inside out.

But even with so many injuries, the monster was preventing instant death with its strong life force. But there was no difference in dying, and the only thing that could have been done with the little time left to die was the screaming of the Terminator. The scream echoed the ruins in high volume.

A desperate monster giant collapses on the spot. Still, Akira kept pulling the trigger with the pistol pointing all the bullets at the monster. Seeing the blood pouring out of the monster's head, he saw a giant that was completely immobile and slowly stopped pulling the trigger.

"... I could take you down...?

Akira kept breathing rough and watching the monster with vigilance, not sure if she had really defeated him. And around the beginning of his breath, and his excitement was healing a little, he saw once again how the giant sank into the bleeding blood, and gained a real sense of knocking it down gradually.

"Akira"

Akira turns to the voice as she was about to enter. And I try to say thank you and apologize with a slightly loose look. But when I saw Alpha pointing out of the ruins while smiling, I let him cramp his face again.

"Within ten seconds..."

Akira began to run in desperate shape without asking until the end.

Alpha continued to see Akira on the spot, but she smiled invincibly and suddenly disappeared. Only the monster's body was left on the spot.

There was no room to notice Akira, who was fleeing madness to death from an impending monster, but a lot was happening behind Akira's back then.

The monster was aware of Alpha's appearance that he only looked like Akira, and was about to eat and kill Alpha, who was right behind Akira.

Alpha had made herself a decoy to guide the monster's movements. And after exquisitely adjusting his position, he fed himself to the monster.

Even though the monster did bite, it was confused by the total lack of sensation and slightly stopped moving.

Alpha was shooting at Akira to shoot the monster. As Akira, who turned around, shot the monster's eyeball, he manipulated the monster's position, condition, and posture precisely as he fed himself, causing it to be easily (yawning) destroyed.

The Weapon Dog herd appeared as soon as Akira took on Alpha's request. Akira, who continues to run desperately for outside the ruins, never realized its relevance.

Akira managed to reach outside the ruins of Kuzsuhara Street. It's a pretty dangerous place there, too, but still safer than the ruins.

Alpha welcomed Akira by showing up as if she had been ahead. Speak gently to Akira, who is breathing in and out of.

'It's good to stay rested, but can we continue the conversation? Ask Akira to be equipped and strong enough to attack the ruins I designate. I thought you were on your way to telling me how.'

"Oh. Go on."

'Gear will either earn money and buy it or dive into the ruins to get it. Many of the old world-made equipment found in the ruins is more powerful than the equipment sold to the public by companies. I think we're going to start by researching the gear we can buy for gold and then head to the ruins to find old world-made gear on top of that. If you're strong, you'll have to wear it in training and action. Don't worry. You'll get the highest quality training with my support.'

Akira has no idea what the training is about. However, I thought they would train me to be very effective because of Alpha's confident description.

"That's very helpful, but can you do that for me?

'Never mind. This is also an advance on the reward. And to get Akira to complete my request, so it's also convenient for me. If you think you're paying too much in advance, you just have to live up to that amount of hard training.'

"Wow, okay. I'll do my best."

Akira felt the harshness of her training on Alpha's invincible smile, but she snorted.

Alpha snorted satisfactorily.

"The immediate goal is to become a hunter who can also earn money to get high-performance gear. Akira has only completed the hunter registration at the hunter's office. We need to graduate the self-proclaimed hunter soon.... once you ask, you've already registered a hunter, haven't you?

Akira takes the Hunter ID out of her nostalgia. On a cheap piece of paper to see, it contained the wording of the third special worker certified by the Eastern League of Governed Companies, as well as his certification number as a hunter and the name of the registrant.

Look at the Hunter ID that Alpha is likely to be able to forge in any number of them, and get confirmation.

'... could a hunter's certificate have been such a cheaply made thing? Don't get me wrong. I don't doubt Akira's story. If it can be used as a hunter's card, it's fine.... It's okay, isn't it?

"... I think it's okay. Maybe."

There is no doubt that Akira was given this piece of paper as a hunter's card by an official when she completed her registration at the hunter's office. But he pointed out the indescribable cheapness drifting from the pieces of paper, and when he reviewed it again himself, he became more and more anxious.

"Where do I finish hunter registration and all that?

"Okay."

Akira told Alpha what was going on at that time, but remembered the unpleasant events together and slightly distorted her face.

Akira registered as a hunter at a hunter's office in the lower area of the Kugamayama city.

The outpost on the outskirts of Slam Street had a roughly crumbling tavern-like appearance, and without the Hunter Office markings on the signs that were half broken and the letters faded, it was also difficult to realize that it was the Hunter Office there.

The official who responded to Akira was a man like in front of alcohol addiction, with an unmotivated wind. Hunter office staff is also a popular job title in the east, where many are competent. But I can't feel such an atmosphere from the man. Although popular, there are many people who don't like to work near Slam Street, and this man has also been displaced and flushed here. Motivation and ability were commensurate.

Akira nervously asks the staff for the process.

"I'm here to register as a hunter. Please process your registration."

Put the magazine you read aside after an official tongues you troublesome. And move on with your duties as you show your apparent reluctance to respond to children in Slam Street.

"... what's your name?

It's Akira.

An official operates the terminal at hand. When a hunter's card printed on cheap paper was output from a nearby printer, he took it with cluttered hands and gave it to Akira looking troublesome. And I started reading the magazine again just saying I was done with my job.

Akira was perplexed as she alternated between the Hunter Certificate she received and the staff. I thought there were a lot more procedures for hunter registration, because they just asked me my name and it was over. I'm anxious to see if I've really registered as a hunter, and accidentally speak up.

"Oh, over?

Transfer your gaze from the magazine to Akira with the look of an employee disgusting.

"It's over. Go home."

"Just ask your name and you're done? I hear a lot more..."

With the expression that the official is bothered in the heart, he tells it off as he tries to get rid of Akira with his hands.

"I'll fuck you soon. You think it's something to ask me? I don't care about the good ones. I don't care about the good information. I don't care what your name is. I'm just asking because it's a rule, I don't know if it's a fake name, but what do you know?"

Akira walked out of the hunter's office silently, recognising the appreciation for herself that she should have already known.

Akira stares at her hunter ID after she finishes talking about her hunter registration. In his eyes, while understanding the current situation, he was willing to try to rise from it even if he wanted to.

Smile as Alpha cheers Akira up.

"In the meantime, the training starts with reading and writing. Obtaining information is very important. Don't worry. My support is superb, so I can learn to read and write as quickly as I can. '

"Okay. Please.... how did I know I couldn't read the letters?

It's a hunter's card, but the name of the registrant is Azilla.

Akira was desperately restraining herself from accidentally crushing her hunter's badge in response to that cluttered job, which she took lightly everywhere.

Alpha suggests with a bitter smile.

Let's go back to Kugamayama City. Let's continue with that. Until I finish reading and writing, I'll read it to you instead. '

Akira snorted silently. Dance the Hunter Certificate and walk out to Kugamayama City. Alpha also walks in line.

Ask lightly (to) distract Akira from her unpleasant mood.

"Speaking of which, what's the name of the monster you defeated at the ruins of Kuzsuhara Street?

"It's Weapon Dog."

"... Huh? It looked completely different, but is that the same kind of monster?

'Probably an individual who failed to change the specification of a self-modification. That's why Akira was weak enough to take her down. "

"Was he an underdog?

"That depends on the interpretation. That monster has a fatal weakness that even Akira can defeat, and luckily she may have just shocked that weakness. If Akira is going to be able to defeat that one more time, I think it's a good idea to interpret it as foresight. Without my support, of course.

"Absolutely not."

Then that's all my support. Can I thank you for that?

"Thank you for your time."

How can I help you?

Akira and the others kept walking toward the city as they continued to chat.

Akira's appearance now is a slightly sane child who keeps talking to the void as she walks. But nothing is watching Akira.

Except for Alpha, who has been observing Akira ever since I met her.
