Rebuild World

29 Impossible, impotent, reckless.

Alpha's voice echoes on Akira's head as she sits and takes her hypnotic sleep on the carrier of a truck for patrol.

"Akira, it's time. Wake up. '

Alpha's voice only sounds like Akira, so it's perfectly fine with the high volume of drowsiness. Akira immediately woke up and looked up. Then I got eyes on a hunter's office clerk named Kibayashi.

Kibayashi is the truck driver and custodian of this patrol. Kibayashi's work included dealing with the hunters who put him on the carrier. Shortly before I tried to deal with that, I woke up on time as I weighed in. I watched Akira and laughed with pleasure.

"If I hadn't woken up by the hour, I'd have knocked you out, but I didn't expect you to wake up just in time. You're using a pretty good alarm clock."

"Oh. It's high performance."

When Akira answers that lightly and inexorably, Alpha looks unusual and grumpy.

"Hey, what do you mean, treat me like an alarm clock?"

"I'm sorry."

"Not at all......"

Kibayashi tells the hunters on the carrier aloud.

"Time! We're leaving now! The one who's going to make a scene is going to abandon the request and beat it out! You got it!

When Akira gently checked the passengers, she saw Katsuya and the others. From what Kibayashi said, I wondered if I even woke up in the noise while I was asleep, and I missed my gaze from the rashes to avoid getting caught up in it.

Soon the truck leaves for the wilderness. Akira's third patrol request began.

The patrol itself was going well. But the hunters, who wanted a lot of extra money, continued to be out of line. You don't run into monsters at all.

The truck, which is being modified for patrol work, is equipped with large enemy equipment capable of countering a fairly wide range. And this patrol also combines monster thinning, so if the encounter rate is too low, go ahead and look for it. Still, if you don't encounter it, there won't be any monsters around.

There was already a relaxed (but) atmosphere on the carrier, and the chatter was louder. Those accustomed to the patrol request were unnecessarily distracted, as there was little fear of ambush thanks to the onboard enemy equipment.

Akira, who was pointing her gaze at the wilderness, looked at Alpha with a slightly stiff look.

"You're not coming out at all."

"Right."

Alpha had an unpleasant attitude from earlier. I don't even try to keep an eye on Akira, and the tone is rather spiky. Akira remembered once again that she had considerably damaged Alpha's mood in her earlier remarks.

'I'm sorry. I didn't think I'd be that uncomfortable'

When Akira honestly apologized, Alpha also greatly softened her attitude. Still left me a little grumpy.

'... Fair enough. It's good that Akira is comfortable with me. But there's so much rudeness in keeping me with the alarm clock. Be careful next time. "

Akira was a little concerned about why Alpha made her mood that bad. But I didn't want to be a snake when I asked poorly about it, so I kept quiet.

When Akira remembers the subtle creepiness (first), she smiles (cheeks) as Alpha guessed it.

"If you want me to get back in the mood, I think it's okay to have words that might get me back in the mood."

That's what Alpha said and smiled (ho ho ho) to ask her out in front of Akira with a slightly provocative attitude.

Akira thinks a little. And when I corrected my posture, I changed my expression to something serious.

"Thanks to Alpha, I have survived to this day. I really appreciate you showing me not to encounter monsters in the ruins, helping me to get the artifacts, and all the help I get when fighting my enemies. I also got fortified clothes and they are really helpful as a hit correction for the shooting. Thank you. I'll sit down. Please keep it up."

You're welcome. I'm happy to help Akira, too. Keep up the good work.

Alpha smiled back at Akira's sincere thanks. And during the subtle silence that followed, he changed his expression to a subtle smile (cheeks).

"... are you happy now? Just a little bit, huh?

Was it not possible to say thank you words that I did not convey on a daily basis? Akira looks a little strange at Alpha as she thinks so.

'A little? Something different?

'For example, yes, do you have anything to say when you see me?

Alpha was dressed in swimsuit again while Akira was asleep. The appearance of daring to expose the skin has a healthy and open beauty, accompanied by a seductive (frightening) colour that attracts others.

When Akira reconfirms Alpha's outfit, she answers her candid thoughts that she didn't say because she thought it was futile to just say it.

"I knew the discomfort was cruel. Get dressed if you can."

Alpha changed her outfit by exhaling a small hoard. Turn off your swimsuit once and then wear an integrated battle suit that covers up to your toes. The zipper continues from the neck of the garment to the chest and through the lower abdomen to near the back hips. The zipper was lowered to a position where it was fairly irritable, and the skin was quite daring to open and expose itself.

Although skin exposure has been greatly reduced, there is no significant difference in the sense of inviting heterosexual gaze. Akira shares her thoughts again on that Alpha outfit.

'You're not more uncomfortable than you just dressed up.... Well, maybe it's not a question of how discomfort is at the point of flying'

Akira is pointing her face at the wilderness side with monster vigilance to prevent her from becoming a suspicious person who points her gaze at the void. Alpha in that direction stood in the air as it was also an invisible scaffold there.

Alpha makes a mild bitter laugh

"That's not what I was expecting, it's beautiful, it's beautiful, it suits me, it's honorable words about the beauty of appearance and clothing."

"Oh. I see."

Akira continues with a normal attitude after showing up like she was asked something unexpected.

"Alpha is an amazing beauty, and I think all the clothes I usually wear are beautiful (beautiful) and attractive. The outfit just now just isn't fatally suited to the atmosphere of the place, and I think it's beautiful or attractive in that sense. '

"Really? I think you had a weak reaction for that."

'I don't care if they say so. Uh, I don't know how to put it this way, but aren't you used to it?

Alpha's appearance is a drawing created by advanced arithmetic abilities. Leveraging its advantages, it reflects an extremely seductive appearance of a face or body that can be conveniently and freely transformed, packed everywhere with elements of inherently rare (rare) beauty.

Akira also felt a strong shock when she first saw what that alpha looked like. Seeing love (ho) as if it had taken my soul. But I don't get that much shock right now. Akira thought this was the fault of accustom.

Alpha has been on her side (by her side) for four or six hours, and is often naked or dressed close to it, even taking a bath with her. So I guess it's just time to get used to a lot of things. That was Akira's decision.

Alpha showed a certain satisfaction with Akira's explanation.

'... get used to it. Would you like to think about it for a moment'

'Have you thought about anything disturbing?

"It's my fault."

Akira sent a slight glance of suspicion, but Alpha smiled and flushed it.

When Akira was taking a nap, Katsuya, who boarded the carrier, noticed Akira in the back and slightly irritated her expression.

"It's him..."

Yumina also looks lightly over the carrier to confirm the passengers.

"There are other hunters who were on the same truck before. But no one seems to have eaten it. Good for you."

I put Iri up on the shelf and stabbed him with a nail.

"Katsuya. Now calm down"

"I know.... he's asleep, is that good?

Shikarabe looks troublesome, but she stabs a nail (goose) hard.

"Leave him alone. Don't make contact with anyone other than a member of Drancam unless you need to. If you don't wake up when it's time, you'll just get knocked out. Never mind. Sit tight."

Katsuya and the others sit in the carriage seat and wait for the departure time. While he was crushing his spare time with chatter and such, Katsuya was unconsciously gazing at Akira with a slightly more rugged face. Something happened on the last patrol, and I don't care about Akira.

Akira stays asleep even a little before departure time. Katsuya was unconsciously expecting Akira to be slapped (just) out as she was. Approaching Akira, where Kibayashi doesn't wake up just before he leaves. Katsuya smiles slightly ill when she sees it.

But Akira woke up normally right after that. Besides, I was smiling at Kibayashi and responding. Seeing how it went, Katsuya got even worse.

Circuit request started. Katsuya was going to ascertain Akira's prowess this time, but the monster's appearance has no shadow or shape, and the opportunity does not come around. So Katsuya broke her mood again.

While the other hunters were so relaxed that they started chatting, Katsuya was unable to concentrate on her training because of the grumpy behavior that she was accumulating. Even the enemy training, which relied on visual observation by binoculars, was motivated by the fact that they did not see the monster at all. Ask Shikarabe in a slightly dissatisfied manner.

"Hey, no monsters at all, but this training still going on?

Answer while Shikarabe suppresses annoying feelings.

"I don't know if I'll be able to train my enemies. Visual fogging will be important if the function of an enemy device, such as an information-gathering device, is diminished by the effects of colorless fog. I'm sure they teach you a lot about directions to pay attention to, priorities for highlights, when to take turns."

"But with no monsters at all, is it going to be training?

"... I won't force you. It's kind of like a voluntary exercise where Elena and the others started rushing into each other. Do as you please."

Instructing the Katsuya and the others is also within their role, but they are not motivated enough to instruct the reluctant ones as much as they can. That is outside the scope of my work. Did Katsuya find out later, whether she was in trouble or not? Sikarabe thought so, so he cut the story off.

Katsuya and the others continued their enemy training for the time being, but eventually started chatting like the other hunters. When Shikarabe saw how it was, she gasped and exhaled. She stopped worrying about it.

A truck that was patrolling the wilderness without ever encountering a monster suddenly stopped. Kibayashi comes up to the carrier (to explain) as the hunters on the carrier increase their alert.

"I have contact information. First, the circuit request shall be terminated at this time. The completion process has already been completed. This will be followed by an explanation of the current situation. A bunch of monsters entered information from the ruins of Kuzhara Street that they were invading toward the city. The city's defensemen are already ready to launch."

The hunters on the carrier's carriage spreads their chirps.

"The city has issued an emergency request and is also looking to this vehicle for help. Hunters who were patrolling the vicinity of the site are already running a delayed tactic, and their rescue and support will be the subject of an emergency request."

Kibayashi turns up his voice so that the hunters scratch (or scratch) off their chirps.

"I'm going to take a vote now! If the emergency request recipient is a majority, this truck will head to the nearest hunters' rescue! If not, return to the city ASAP! Minorities, make your way back to the city, on foot. Make up your mind in five minutes. That's it."

Although Kibayashi explained so procedurally, he thought they would all return to the city without having to adopt a vote. This truck is for low-difficulty patrols, and the hunters assigned here are not equipped or strong enough to receive this emergency request. Even if there were hopeful people, they would surely be in the minority. No fool would take a request on this occasion even if he was left behind. Even if you take it, once you get back to the city. That's what I was thinking.

The hunters are looking at each other to make sure they don't have to check. Alpha also gets confirmation from Akira for once.

"Akira. Back to the city, is that good?

'Naturally. You're not gonna fight a bunch of monsters like that.'

Akira had a face that looked sincerely unpleasant. I remember when a bunch of monsters attacked me before and Elena and the others helped me and I couldn't help but die.

The majority of hunters on this occasion had already decided to return to the city. I mean, there was a minority. It's cute.

The katsuya was arguing with Shikarabe, gradually roughing up his voice and attracting attention. Initially, Shikarabe refused Katsuya's request, but gradually increased her frustration and exposed her anger.

"No! Come on, man! You're so persistent!"

"Dolankham's policy is to actively accept urgent requests and sell their names! You're the one who's up against it! We can do this!

"That's a story in the context of being able to go home alive! And don't include me in what you call us! I'm not you guys!

Speak up so that Kibayashi blocks the contention.

"Time! Those who receive urgent requests, raise your hands!...... Majority against! I'll be back for the city in a minute! The one who stays, get out of here!

Seeing Kibayashi try to get back in the driver's seat, Katsuya groans with regret.

"... the request Elena and the others received is definitely going to be ready for this raid. I can do more than just wrap my hands around it."

Yumina and Iri will take care of Katsuya.

"... Katsuya, I know how you feel, but I can't do anything."

"reckless to boulders"

There are people in the world who bend and rewrite mere self-love and optimistic mistakes into facts with luck and strength. There are those who make the great language spectacular happen. And in Katsuya was a scaling of such a great man, and of such a great man, and of a hero, and so on. I had made decisions that sometimes seemed reckless and made it happen.

The reason Yumina and the others were attracted to Katsuya was certainly the appearance of Katsuya who accomplished the seemingly reckless thing. That often shows an understanding of Katsuya's behavior.

But there are limits. I don't want you to go on and get in danger. If you leave me alone, I won't even tell you that I'm going to walk if I want to. That's what I thought, and I was stopping the rash worryingly.

There is also the care of those yuminas, which also weakens Katsuya a little. But it wasn't enough to completely erase the grievances. In addition, there is also the attitude of Shikarabe who sees herself with the eyes that she does not like herself, and while the Shikarabe is stirred up, she does not feel like asking for a mouthful of dissatisfaction.

"You're just afraid to fight a bunch of monsters anyway. What a hunter. You're just a coward."

That raised Sikarabe's anger all at once. Shikarabe had a lot of patience too. Using that anger as an opportunity, attitudes and perceptions toward the Katsuya switches from disliked to hostile. At the same time, it unleashes intimidation that puts Katsuya and the others in the range.

"Scary? Oh, you're scary. I'm scared to take a bunch of monsters with me who call themselves hunters who are less than amateurs because I'm wrong about something like you guys. It's no different than suicide to take a useless, less harmful toe wrap like you. If you want to go, go. There's nothing stopping you. But leave all your gear behind. The equipment is on loan to Drancam. It's not your personal stuff. I'm the decision-maker here as Drunkham. I guess that turning against me means I'm ready to get out of Drancam. Come fight monsters with your bare hands and get killed. Or force you to take away your gear? You want to kill me and take my gear? Good? Come on. I don't mind. You're not a coward, are you? Come on, choose."

Shikarabe already sees Katsuya as half the enemy. If Katsuya takes hostilities, she's going to kill him.

Yumina and Iri are under barometric pressure for the anger and killing of Shikarabe. Katsuya endured painfully, but it was not a factor in improving the situation.

"What's up? Pick fast. Stay and go back to the city, get down and go bareback to the rescue, and if you're not willing to fight, drop your weapon. If you're willing, hang on. One-on-one, one-on-three, I'll do either."

Shikarabe forced all the Katsuya and the others to make a choice. Katsuya isn't the only one who chooses.

Katsuya noticed that Yumina and the others were already involved. So the katsuya broke. In order not to involve Yumina and the others if interpreted favourably, if not, use it as an excuse.

Katsuya drops the gun. Yumina and Iri also dropped their guns.

Sikarabe turns the kill off and turns the scorn on Katsuya instead.

"Hmm. Shut up and sit down."

Katsuya and the others took their seats. Sikarabe throws up when she sees it.

"A coward."

Katsuya was looking very sorry. Yumina and the others looked worried about the rash.

Sikarabe turns his mind back and tells the others.

"Sorry for the noise! I need you to leave!

The truck is hard to leave because they waited for their noise to end. Shikarabe was shouting to make it sound like Kibayashi, thinking so. But the truck doesn't leave.

Hunters, including Sikarabe, look in the driver's seat wondering. There were Kibayashi out of the driver's seat and Akira, who wanted to cross (again) onto a small bike.

Katsuya's conversation had reached Akira's ear as well. Some of that story could also be interpreted as Elena and the others on their way to repelling the monster herd.

Akira thought for a while, but stood up and carried the rucksack. Alpha notices Akira's thoughts and tries to stop them.

"Akira. Why don't you reconsider? Needless to say, it's very dangerous.

"I know."

Akira jumps off the truck carrier.

"Elena and Sarah may not be in danger, and if Akira's strength, she may just be there."

"I think so."

Kibayashi turned up when Akira knocked on the driver's seat of the truck.

"What's up? Are we leaving now?

"How do I get an emergency request?

Kibayashi is surprised by the unexpected content. Then I listen back with a puzzling look.

"Huh? Are you going? Walk?"

"Running away"

Kibayashi deepens his confusion at Akira's attitude, to which he replied so lightly.

"No, no, no, that's not what we're talking about, is it? I told you to go on foot if you really want to, but that's an analogy to things, isn't it?

"I'm wearing fortified clothes, so I can run pretty fast. It's slower than a truck on a boulder, but I think it's faster than going back to the city and getting in another car."

"You didn't raise your hand when you voted, did you?

"I changed my mind. Nothing. It won't change my overall decision as long as I change my mind."

Kibayashi looked at Akira half-hearted. And squeal.

"... are you serious?"

Kibayashi laughs suddenly. Ask Akira in an upbeat mood after laughing with heartfelt pleasure.

"Hey, can you drive a bike?

"It's okay."

"It's okay."

Akira has never driven a motorcycle or anything. But I said Alpha was fine, so I repeated it as it was. If Alpha says so, it will be fine. That's what I thought after I answered.

"Right! Hang on a second!

Kibayashi laughed with great pleasure and pulled into the back.

Alpha gives a look.

"Akira. Would you like to reconsider now? It doesn't necessarily mean there's Elena and the others where Akira went, and it doesn't affect a lot of people, does it?

'Either way, if it doesn't affect you, it was useless for me to go, I want to keep it. If I go, maybe I can handle it. I want to turn that possibility off. Both meaningless, but that's about all I want to choose.'

That you were thanked for your help. That I was saved my life. That I used the benefactor of my life as a reason to kill those who want me to die. The burden on Elena and the others, the guilt, made Akira decide.

Of course, just because you received an emergency request doesn't mean you can join Elena and the others. Even if we were able to rendezvous with each other very unlikely, there is a risk that Ning might get in the way. Akira also understands that.

Still, Akira received an urgent request. Because Elena doesn't make herself a complete outsider of what Elena and the others are fighting for.

This is nothing but self-satisfaction. That is why Akira did not hesitate to risk her life recklessly to be prepared to die and receive an urgent request.

My life belongs to me. That's why there's no problem for Akira if she risked her life on her own volition, recklessly or by challenging herds of monsters to kill her. And when I was in Slam Street, I only had about my own life, such as what Akira could bet on, who had almost nothing. It was natural for Akira to risk her life for herself, who could not say that she was emotionally out of the place.

Having read only a few of Akira's behavioral guidelines, Alpha decided it was useless to stop them. For once, he exhales loudly to apply it with a silly look on his face. As expected, I couldn't overrule Akira's intentions.

Kibayashi comes out of the driver's seat with a small, foldable bike.

The bike is small but wilderness specific and large enough to barely enter the driver's passenger seat in a folded condition. If the truck is unable to move or communicate due to a monster raid or the like, it is always equipped to call for rescue on this motorcycle. Most of them are installed in the driver's seat (purposefully) because the role is to become a hunter's office employee and the hunter does not use it on his own when placed on the carrier.

Kibayashi gently tapped the seat of the bike when he assembled the bike that had been folded in a simple procedure.

"Get on with this. I get there faster than I run. And give me a hunter's card."

Kibayashi received a hunter's card from Akira to have it read by an information terminal for staff.

"Now we have completed the urgent request process. Procedures from the hunter's office site using your information terminal will determine which location you will be dispatched to. The shortest distance battlefield became a destination in the current processing. And this bike is an advance on the reward for the emergency request. Be careful, all right? If we run, we can chase you to the hunter's office to the end of the ground, okay?

Akira answers flatly to Kibayashi, who has put in a mild threat.

"If that's what you're going to do, you don't imitate getting an emergency request by yourself from the beginning."

Kibayashi laughs even more in a good mood.

"That's right! All right! Come on! Impossible. Reckless! It would be the flavor of hunter operations! Run through and live, run through and die! We've been running out of hunters like that lately!

"One way or another, I'm a cautious person."

Akira said it in earnest, but Kibayashi thought it was a little joke, and laughed even more funny when the joke came to her.

"Don't joke! The Prudentials are going to run and fight a bunch of monsters! The exact location can be seen on the information terminal, but the location is roughly northwest of here, that way! If you get any closer, you'll soon find out by the hunter's gunfire and the monster noise! Good luck! Good hunting!

Akira ran off to the motorcycle as she crossed (again) and was dropped off by a very upset Kibayashi.

The hunters on the carrier looked at Akira with different expressions and different emotions. He was stunned, praised, envied, bewildered, jealous, ridiculed, each with various emotions, looking at the back of someone who had made another choice.

Shykarabe shrugged with admiration.

"Did he go alone? Don't do it."

Shikarabe gently praised Akira for acknowledging her guts.

Katsuya had some remorseful look on her face, pointing a gaze at Akira that resembled jealousy.
