Rebuild World

79 Debt Hunter

Guiba accidentally tells Dale.

"I'm free, so I'm gonna go explore the area for a little bit to find some artifacts."

Dale asks back with a surprising look.

"You don't have any more big artifacts left here, do you?

"It's fine. I'm busy. Plus, there were a lot of monster carcasses, and maybe some of the Hunter's gear that was killed by them is rolling."

"... well. Well, whatever you want."

Dale spits evil in his heart.

(Keh! The hyena bastard!

People have their own sense of character about hunter activity. Dale was the owner of the idea that fishing for dead hunters' gear was not a good idea.

I don't mind if I stumble upon it. But when you start to go looking for it from yourself, instead of going to the ruins of the old world to find artifacts, you start to go looking for possessions of dead hunters, hunting for living hunters within them. That's what Dale was thinking.

Dale thought Guiba was leaving the room intact. But Guiba heads in the opposite direction of the room, near Cheryl's men. And speak to Cheryl's men, mainly towards Sebra.

"I'm going to explore this hall, but why don't you join me?

Everyone sees Guiba with a surprised look. Stop Guiba in a tone that Dale is close to blaming.

"Hey, what are you doing!

Giuba answers flat without being bad.

"What, I'm just inviting you to explore"

"I'm telling you not to invite Cheryl's people on your own! First, you think they can fight!?

"I won't force you to do anything. Besides, I'm inviting you as a luggage man, not as a force of war. I'll do the fighting. Oh, you're thinking about rubbing it in the distribution of artifacts? If it's not a pricey artifact, I'll give it to you. Told you I'd be free."

Those invited by Guiba see Cheryl. Akira hasn't changed her expression separately, but Cheryl's expression looks slightly grumpy. Though slightly interested in exploring the Hall, they did not intend to go on an invitation in order not to damage Cheryl's mood any further.

Except for one who has already greatly damaged Cheryl's mood.

Sebra answers with a peek at Gyuba.

"Are you sure you want to?

Giuba answers with a loving laugh.

"Oh, I'll do it. I'm not interested in cheap artifacts."

"Okay. Go."

Seeing Sebra rise with that answer, Guiba deepened her grin.

My own people are inviting Cheryl's people on their own. Seeing the look on Cheryl's face, Dale asks Cheryl if she needs to stop.

"Um, is that good?

"I won't stop you. I don't take responsibility."

Cheryl answered concisely without putting her emotions on.

Cheryl is already willing to trump Sebra. I don't mind Sebra accompanying Guiba to die, and if she doesn't go back before the rain stops (or), she's willing to leave it there. Of course (of course), they decide to kick him out of the party when he returns to the city.

Whether Cebra annoys Guiba or Guiba complains to Cheryl about it, Cheryl is not willing to take responsibility for it, nor is she willing to work with it.

Guiba and Sebra leave the room. Cheryl had a clean look on her face somewhere.

With Guiba gone, Dale quickly added stupidity to the topic with Cheryl.

Guiba, who left the room with Sebra, moved to another room a little further away without going straight on a hall search. And when I entered the empty room with Sebra, I checked slightly outside before closing the door.

Guiba pulls the worn chair that was in the room and sits in the opposite direction. Then he lays his arm on the backrest, and points the other chair in his jaw and tells Sebra.

"Well, sit down."

Sebra sits in a chair perplexed but adulterous. Guiba stared at Sebra with a thin smile.

Due to the desire to explore this hall (Yamato) and obtain artifacts and the dissatisfaction with Akira and Cheryl, who cannot do so alone, Sebra rode Guba's invitation.

Sebra unconsciously belittles Akira and Cheryl. As a boy who's just lucky enough to get a powerful weapon and a girl who's just curious about the boy.

So whether you're near Akira and Cheryl or you're in a bad mood, Sebra didn't think you'd be greatly scared. Even if they were beings who could easily kill themselves if they cared about it, their neglect and familiarity with them had dulled their fears.

And now in front of Sebra is someone who has the power to kill himself easily. I just met someone who doesn't know anything.

Sebra gets a little scared and asks Gyuba to misdemonize it.

"Ha, no exploration?

"Well, calm down."

Guiba laughed soothingly. To that laugh, I can't feel the goodwill.

"I need to ask you something. It's okay. Good story. So, what are you guys, honestly?

Guiba was not willing to explore the museum from the beginning. I just wanted to get the right people out to get information about Cheryl and the others.

Guiba was in trouble with the money. More precisely, there was a considerable amount of debt, and its repayment date was imminent, and it was not expected to be repaid.

Technically, the payback is gone today. Guiba had bought information on the ruins of the old world that high priced artifacts were available with a note of gold in his hand. I was going to get a pricey artifact at that ruin and sell it for repayment. The information obtained by the suspicious route of obtaining, which lacked credibility, was sufficient for Guiba to place a bet.

It was like a common con, but what I was fortunate enough to get was right. Guiba was able to head to the ruins of an almost uninvestigated old world, where a large number of expensive artifacts were likely to be asleep.

Guiba had won the bet that far. And in other parts, I was to be caught scattered.

There was no information on monsters living there in the information on the ruins. The Gyuba encountered powerful monsters and were forced to retreat. If the monsters hadn't followed and dispersed the other hunters who were swarming the same ruins with the same information, they wouldn't have been able to survive the ruins.

Only a small amount of artifacts were obtained by the Gyuba and the others. Even less if dispensed. Not enough to repay Guiba at all. Even if Guiba singles out the artifact that the three of us brought home.

Lending money to hunters in the east is tough. Hunter's earnings are not stable, no wonder when he dies, naturally but armed, and sometimes even reopen and ramble. In other words, a supplier that lends money to a hunter has enough power to force the money from that hunter to be taken in every way possible.

Guiba needs money. To escape so much takeover and repayment methods sometimes called devil's place of business.

Guiba got information about Cheryl and the others from the awe-inspiring Sebra. It's a little distorted by Sebra's subjectivity. Neither has Güber determined it to be accurate information. Still enough to complement the information I was craving.

Guiba's thoughts for big money have already shown bias. As a result, I hope that what is loaded onto Akira's car carriage is an expensive artifact. Instead of extrapolating the value of the artifacts stacked on the carrier from the information gathered, it was decided that the artifacts stacked on the carrier unconsciously were high, and information was being sought to affirm the premise.

Cheryl and the others are on their way back from another ruin. The ruins are not yet spread to other hunters, like the ruins of information that Guba has obtained, and Cheryl and the others are on their way back from the ruins, transporting them secretly. That's what Guiba initially decided.

There are two ways (to) prevent the dissemination of valuable site information to others. I only teach those who have faith. And let whoever finds out disappear. These two.

The former is Akira. From Cheryl's story, Guiba felt Cheryl's credibility and trust in Akira. That's why Cheryl is using Akira as his own escort. That's what Guiba was judging.

And the latter are the other children. Probably the ones in Slam Street who don't know the value of carrying expensive artifacts. It is suitable for carrying expensive artifacts in close proximity. And after the carriage is finished, even if it is killed by mouth sealing, there is little (if any) noise. It is still suitable for carrying expensive artifacts in a tight (hissing) manner. That's what Guiba had decided.

Unexpectedly for Guba, however, Sebra's story suggests that the cargo hold relics were collected at this Higalaka residential area site. Although Gyuba was puzzled, it was immediately convenient for him to combine the twitches.

Perhaps Cheryl has made this Higalaka residential neighborhood site a stash or place of delivery for expensive artifacts and valuables, especially those that have to be kept secret. Cheryl has come so far to pick them up in disguise as cheap artifacts. That's what Guiba decided.

According to Sebra's story, Cheryl designated both the house to be collected and the artifact that Cheryl chose to carry out. The use of Slam Street children for transportation is a good way to turn it off if you know what you're carrying.

Above all, if it's a really inexpensive artifact loaded on the carrier, it's never profitable. The total cost of escorts to and from the Higalaka residential area ruins and during collection of artifacts, as well as transportation and ammunition, surely exceeds the selling value of the artifacts on the carrier.

Only Akira and Cheryl are jumping through the gear and outfits. What Cheryl is wearing is probably made in the old world. Extraordinarily more expensive than regular clothes. In other words, Cheryl is a person with the power and money to wear it.

Though that Cheryl came with some escorts, it didn't seem to Gyuba at all that he would risk going out from himself into a dangerous wilderness and not being profitable.

Guba's economic sensation had convinced him that the mood for gold was high on the cargo carriage artifacts.

"Hey, Sebra... is that it? Yeah, I'm a giuber. You didn't name it. So, Sebra."

Answer while Sebra is drunk by the different atmosphere of Gyuba and under barometric pressure.

"Hey, what's up?"

Guiba smiles and speaks to Sebra. There was a clear determination there.

"Wouldn't we be happy together?

Sebra was swallowed up by Guiba's dark temper and unusual atmosphere.

Akira and the others were spending nothing. Cheryl keeps making fun of Dale and the others. Akira is attached to Cheryl's escort. Cheryl's men are also killing their time with thoughts.

But it was torn by a sudden explosion and gunfire. That was greatly reduced by the distance and the sound of rain, but the hunters in the room respond with agility. Akira moves to shelter Cheryl and increases her alert. Dale and Corbe rush in the direction of the sound, towards the window of the room.

Dale raises his voice when he sees the sight outside through the window.

"The car!? Our car!?

Dale and Corbe are in a hurry. When Akira checked outside carefully, she saw a car driving away from the hall.

Confirm Akira's car leaving with binoculars. It's not Akira's car.

"That's your car. No one's in that car?

Speak with a tongue-in-cheek look that Dale says is incredible.

"Is that an automatic return feature!? Stupid! There must still have been room for armor!

Dale's question is correct. But in reality, the car kept moving away from the hall, and eventually became invisible.

Giubers came back to the room after a while. The Guibas had considerably more luggage.

Dale tells Guiba in a panic.

"Giuba! Our car went back to the city on its own with an automatic return feature!

In contrast to the panicking Dale, Giuba answers quite calmly.

"Oh. I know. A monster."

"Ha!?

"Because the monster attacked the car. I was there."

"What do you mean! Explain it!"

Giuba explains the situation to Dale and the others. Looks like the monsters attacked us when the Gyuba and the others were near the car. The monster repelled, but the attack caused a lot of damage to the car, and the automated return capability of the rented car was activated. Soon after we stopped, the car was talking about putting the Guibas down and going back to the city. Apparently, that explosion and gunfire belonged to Guiba.

Talk on the floor with the luggage that Guiba brought.

"Fortunately, the relics of the old world and spare equipment and ammunition we had in our cars are safe."

Dale loosens his expression just a little, but quickly makes his expression more rugged again.

"What are you doing? If we could afford to get that out of the car, the monsters around here would be able to repel enough, right?

Answer as Guiba points to Sebra with his jaw.

"No, because this guy wants to see gear and artifacts. I was trying to show you so I could get you out of the car. A monster attacked me just then. I didn't carry them out while they attacked me."

"I would still be able to protect my car!

Giuba answers with a slightly spicy expression, looking sideways at Sebra.

"Well, what, I hate to say it this way, but there's a foot wrap. I was supposed to use my car as a shield to fight. Sometimes this rain delayed me from noticing the monster approaching..."

Apologize to Dale and the others as Sebra leans down.

"... sorry"

I get my head bowed so deeply that I can't see my expression on Sebra that Dale can't say it any stronger either. It was a fool to blame her men so hard in front of Cheryl. Dale tongued and refrained from pursuing any further responsibilities.

But it doesn't make any difference that Dale and the others lost their cars. Dale couldn't loosen his grumpy look. And in spite of that state, he sees a rather calm giuber and tells him to bump into a caustic (needy) chick.

"... isn't that calm enough? Why are you so calm? We lost our legs on the way home, didn't we?

Giuba replies with a slight laugh.

"Take it easy. Sure, our car's gone, but luckily we got another one, right?

That's what Guiba said and saw Cheryl. Dale and Corbe are also caught to see Cheryl. Cheryl's expression was a little strong.

Ask Cheryl to look a little sorry for Dale.

"Uh, I'm sorry, but that's the situation. Why don't you put us in Cheryl's car, too?

Giuba continues and talks with a loving laugh.

"Three hunters go to the escort for free. That's not a bad story, is it? Whatever you want, I can do the driver. Looks like your hunter had a tough time driving and repelling monsters."

I don't think Cheryl is a bad story, but let's take a look at Akira. The escort is Akira's job. If Akira doesn't like it, Cheryl has to convince the Dales in the direction of saying no, too.

Answer with care that Akira does not change her expression.

"You won't have a choice. Let's get him on."

Cheryl bows her head gently to Dale and the others.

"Okay. Mr. Dale, Mr. Guiba, Mr. Corbe, please return."

"Leave it to me."

Dale replied with a laugh on his behalf.

Akira observes Dale and the others. To tell the truth, Akira disagrees with putting Dale and the others in the car together. Certainly more fighting power. But there's more uncertainty than that.

That's why if Akira turns down Dale and the others' suggestion, Dale and the others will be left in the wilderness for an outrage. We had virtually no choice and reluctantly decided to accept Dale and the others' proposals.

"Alpha. Honestly, what do you think?

Be vigilant.

"Right."

A good hunch comes off, and a bad hunch hits. Akira thinks so. Then we'll have to be prepared.

If there is a high probability that an unpleasant feeling will be centered, the damage can be mitigated by preparing it. Then it's not that bad to have a bad feeling about it. That's what Akira thought. Either that or for Akira's own mental stability.

An unmanned car is driving through the rainy wilderness. It's the rental car that Dale and the others were in. Some of the armor on the body is peeling off. The diagnostic device of the car's control device determined that the body would be destroyed if it remained this way from its damage. Since the controller activated the automatic return function, the car continues to run towards the city with automatic driving.

The display portion of the control apparatus of the car displays the diagnostic results of the diagnostic apparatus, the cause that led to the automatic return function being activated, and a note to the borrower (A).

The automatic return function has been activated due to damage caused by shooting and an attack that can be inferred to be caused by explosives. The anti-foe device on the machine failed to check the presence of monsters or the like when the automatic return function was activated. Behavior that may be misinterpreted as making the machine the object of shooting can be a factor in underestimating the customer. Please be careful.

The car continued to run in the wilderness, letting him display a message with no readers or anything else.

It's been a while since Guba and the others came back to the room. I'm checking the luggage that Dale was safe. After checking the artifact, and then checking the spare ammunition, the face suddenly becomes cloudy.

"Hey, we don't have any enemy planes. Some of the ammunition."

An enemy machine is a generic term for a tool that has the ability to attract monsters. It is a tool used (to) lure monsters out to one location, collect relics from another while monsters are being lured to that location, etc., in the ruins of the Old World. Attract monsters with sounds, heat sources, smells, light, vibrations, and more.

Of course (of course), if you don't use it carefully, you will attract monsters from all of them. Startup methods vary, and there are many other types of immediate, such as remote operation, time lapse, and activation with sensors. Some items can also be used as throwing bullets.

Naturally, it is a more expensive substitute than just ammunition. I don't have it. Besides, that was Dale's personal property. There's no other way for Dale to blush.

Guiba answers Dale's question unbadly.

"Don't you? Then you're in the car."

"Didn't you bring it up?

"I didn't bring it all up. I took it out of the things I showed him."

"... damn. That was expensive."

Dale regrets it. If this is the case, I should have used it all when I ran away from the ruins. It would have some effect if I used it all at once even in this rain. If the enemy drove off, they wouldn't have to stop by for a rainfall.

Once again the Guibas were trying to get out of the room when Dale was regretting it. Calling Guiba to hit the frustration.

"Hey, where are you going?

"I'm going to explore the museum. There might be another monster."

Dale tells Guiba in a stronger tone.

"... didn't the monster come by because you were wandering around? Isn't that why our car was attacked?

It's bad that Guiba was inadvertently wandering around the area of the car. That's what Dale said in the dark.

Giuba replies with a gentle laugh.

"That being said, there were monsters around. You should be on guard. It's okay. It's not gonna get close to Cheryl's car. I'm not going back to the city on foot."

That's what Guiba says and tries to get out of the room. Sebra also continues after that giuber. Dale looks at it and speaks a little louder.

"Hey, are you taking him too!?

"I'm trying to regain my lethargy with this guy. Don't stop him. You will be escorting Cheryl and the others. If we don't, they're going to refuse us a ride. Bye."

Giuba took Sebra out of the room, saying so.

Akira conceives as she looks at the door to the room where the Gyuba and the others left. The unpleasant feeling has not disappeared.

"Alpha. Can you tell from here what the Geubers are up to?

'Unfortunately, they're out of our range.' Cause it's getting pretty narrow because of the rain. '

'I may think too much, but if those guys try to work something out on our cars, do we have any idea?

'Then you'll be fine. I have control of Akira's car. It minimizes the range of enemies in the car's enemy function to avoid wasting energy, but if anyone comes close or does anything, it will be well documented. We'll look at the records via Akira's information terminal, so we won't know until we're close enough to communicate. "

"Are you all right then..."

"Do you doubt them?

'Oh. I don't have a bad feeling about it. I've had a bad feeling for a long time. Sometimes that helped. Well, it's not okay when I don't have a bad feeling, so I can't be alarmed at all.'

'... yes'

Alpha conceives. Akira is an old realm connector. He or she may also be unconsciously judging and interpreting that information by receiving some information that he or she cannot perceive. Perhaps you are aware of that conclusion as a consideration. Something enough to believe, even if there was no basis for it. That's the point.

Caution and vigilance are required. Alpha continues to think behind her smile. Seeing Alpha staring at herself, Akira asks in wonder.

'What's wrong with you?

'Hmm? I knew Akira was a little overwhelmed. It's certainly important to consider all possibilities, but it's impossible and inefficient to consider all possibilities in the first place. Leave that to me.' Cause I'm confident in my arithmetic skills. '

'So is that. Please.'

"Leave it to me."

Alpha smiles gently and well.
