Rebuild World

157 He who sprinkles oil

The lower sections of the Kugamayama city are quite large and are basically insecure the closer they are to the wilderness. And in areas where there is some insecurity, there are quite a few organizations that enrich the force from the so-called (so-called) back-run economic forces, put the surrounding organizations under control with that force, and have a high degree of influence in the area of control. The Ezont family was one of the large organizations in its hands, with subdivisions of slums and nearby fields as its territory.

The hub of the Ezont family is a luxurious mansion bordering the wilderness of Slam Street. The mansion is also a symbol of their power. It's not the size, it's the place.

There is plenty of land in the east. Building technology is also advanced and can be constructed relatively inexpensively in quite a few mansions. Except it's safe. The land inside the fence is high because it's safe there. Being based in a place bordering the wilderness is proof that it retains the strength to defend itself from monsters wandering (of course) in the wilderness and that it has the economic power to sustain only that power. It's different from the weak groups there.

A man named Rogert, the boss of the Ezont family, sits in a large reception room in the hall and continues his ideas. And across the street from the big table, Viola was smiling lovingly.

Behind Rogelt, his men, behind Viola, Carol, both armed and refrained.

Rogert continued to conceive with a quiet look as he looked at the four pictures lined up on the table, but returned his gaze to Viola.

Viola laughs in a good mood as she explores the feel of negotiation from her opponent's perspective.

"So, what do you think?

"Not bad"

The two pictures on the table are Akira and Katsuya. It shows Akira with a somewhat grumpy look and Katsuya with a smile for PR.

"Even we did a little research on these guys. If you're a katsuya, it was easy to compare it with your information, thanks to Drancam's PR. Hunter rank is also high. He must be the owner of a certain strength. Akira is a subtle hunter rank for a kid. But, well, I'm talking about recently paying back an eight-person robbery on its own, and I know it's not a bad strength if I compare it to your information on it. If I could use these two as family pawns, it would make the fight against Harriers a lot easier. Thank God we have the means to pawn it."

"Seems to have lived up to your expectations."

Intimidate the viola to which Rogert replied so lovingly.

"So, how far is it from you?

Viola looks strange with a slightly exaggerated attitude.

"I wonder what that means?

"Don't be silly. I know about your M.O. and your poor quality. Flush seemingly completely irrelevant information and manipulate the situation for your convenience. That would be your M.O."

"That's a misunderstanding. The people who bought the information from me are just blaming me for that failure. Good annoyance."

"Misunderstood?"

Rogelt laughed with his nose.

"It's good that this means of bringing in Akira and Katsuya uses the woman that each one of them is putting in. I'm a man. No wonder you have one like that."

The two remaining pictures on the table are Cheryl and Arna. Viola's information suggests that Akira told Cheryl that Katsuya was in Aruna.

"But there's more to it than chance."

Start talking to Rogelt to question Viola. The content is a suspicion of the information provided by Viola, an indication of an event that is hard to think of as a coincidence.

Cheryl's relic dealer was immediately mistaken for handling expensive relics. The robbers misunderstood Akira as the miscellaneous fish there. Cheryl wants to reopen the store because she's betting on the relic dealer. But we need nothing more security than Akira's return to hunter operations. If Cheryl and the others join the subordinate organization of the Ezont family, they can raise the store's security forces. Rogelt can use Akira's combat power via Cheryl. Akira has given Cheryl some very expensive clothes and put them in so much that she leaves the boss of the Jailed Party to her.

Katsuya is somehow very much into Aruna, which is supposed to be a sleigh there. And Akira tried to protect Aruna, who is after her life, with the help of Drancam, but she is difficult to navigate. If the Ezont family protects or imprisons Aruna, they can trade with Katsuya or (some) threaten to move it for convenience.

Various elements combine to make it easier for Rogert and the others to use Akira and Katsuya. But Rogert couldn't help but remember to act there.

"I also acknowledge the correctness of your information. But whether the robber decided Cheryl's shop was a thriving store or mistook Akira for a miscellaneous fish, it's because of the information you gave him. I thought you set me up to attack that store.

"It's a coincidence. The evaluation of the store is a request from a customer who wants to investigate a competitor. The investigation of Akira's prowess was requested by Sijima. I didn't do it voluntarily."

"Why do you know Arna is on Drancam's property, which is off-limits? Why are you even supposed to kick me out of there?

"There are people in Drunkam who don't feel comfortable having friends in Slam Street who advertise that they are good for the tastes (lumps) of sponsors who live inside the walls. Imagine that."

"... it's unnatural for Aruna to even get her wallet on a kid when she looks at your information and guesses what Akira is capable of. You should be able to prevent it if you're that strong. Even if you were alarmed, you'd be able to retrieve it if you noticed it far enough away to track it. It's also unnatural for Katsuya to harbour Aruna that far. He's not my friend. He's the first kid I've ever met in Slam Street, right? I'm not even dressed like Cheryl like I'm about to be mistaken for some lady. The one I followed was also a hunter who played quite well in the bounty neck crusade, not those chimps there. Is Katsuya the kind of bottomless good guy who helps a thin dirty kid until he fights that one? Wouldn't there be enough to make a woman sweet?

"Even if I tell you so. Akira will have about the same time she's not feeling well. Maybe that's when they targeted me occasionally. Katsuya may be a bottomless good man and very sweet to a woman. Even the references that Drancam's PR is putting out for sponsors within the fence compliment him on the excellence of his personality, and there are so many women around him that the Harlem Squad can be flabbergasted. Aren't you the type to risk your life for a woman?

Rogert had since explored changes in Viola's attitude, pointing out contradictions and unnaturalities. But Viola kept answering all the questions with no shard upset while smiling (cheeks). Eventually Rogert stops thinking of the points and asks slightly stuck in words.

"... really, can you say that you have done nothing spontaneously but gather information?

"Strongly, I sent my handkerchief in to explore the possibility of handing Arna over with a few threats and negotiations in an attempt to find out how much Katsuya is getting into Aruna. That would be something I did voluntarily. I was also surprised that I took Aruna to Katsuya to pay 20 million aurum if I gave her Aruna and still didn't give her Aruna. Happy to have useful information, Katsuya killed the pawn. His claim has become irrecoverable. It's a huge loss. This time I'm here to sell you information, and I'm here to make up for it. You put up your face and agreed to give me the information and then accept the information fee? I want you to pay the right amount."

Rogelt grins ill will.

"How was it? I did think it was useful information, but there was also a lot of content that I wasn't satisfied with in support. I can't guarantee whether or not it will meet your expectations."

Smile invincibly after Viola gives you an unexpected look.

"Oh, you say that? You don't have a choice. It's hard to take money with information you don't like. Carol, let's go home."

I'm surprised (a lot) to see Rogert really try to go home viola.

"Don't you need money? You must have lost a lot of money, huh? That's a lot of room."

Viola laughs with pleasure.

"Terrible. It also costs money to gather information. Besides, I'm on the verge of bankruptcy because I didn't have a good deal with you (you). So I'm going to sell the same information to Harrier."

Harlias is a hostile organization with the same organizational capabilities as the Ezont family. He is also an opponent on the brink of a war over territory. If the same information passes to the Harriers side, they may get ahead of us.

"Oh, my God!

In response to Rogert's anger, the men behind him try to put up a gun. But Carol was pointing a gun at Rogert earlier than that. Rogert holds his men by hand with a rugged look.

Viola laughs with pleasure.

"So, should I go home after all?

"... I get it."

Rogert manipulated the information terminal the way he thought.

"I wired it. Check it out."

Viola manipulates the information terminal to verify the account. And gently shake your head to the side.

"Not enough."

"What!? Don't be ridiculous! That should be enough forehead!

"As for the information fee I sold to you. But it's not enough. Don't sell the same information to Harrier. I'll give it to you. Well, it's like a stopping fee. And I have to pay an extra fee because I put Carol to work. Because of you, I will ask you to pay for it. You know, half the amount I just transferred."

Turn a smile Viola won a little proud of Rogelt for the expression she drew with anger.

"It was you who did the extra imitation? Or do you want me to raise my payments more?

Rogert, after tongue-in-cheek with a very grumpy look, transferred the money as he was told.

"I checked. Don't worry. I do not imitate (maniacally) the same information as an informant to other places. I'll keep my word."

"... Hmm. I guess you have a similar attitude besides me anyway. You can't live long."

"They often say something similar, but you decide to die faster than me. Be careful, too."

Viola laughed at Rogelt's dislike and replied so, leaving with Carol.

Instruct Rogelt to yell at his men that he is frustrated.

"Get your hands on it now!

Looking at his rushing men, Rogert firmly swore that he would hit Viola with this outrage first and foremost to the people of Harriers, and eventually.

Akira was advised by Elena and the others to select the modified parts. The selection of parts that had not progressed by Akira alone was also concluded in a relatively short time thanks to the precise advice of Elena and the others. It was also incorporated on the spot. Combined with the cost of purchasing new ammunition made available by the incorporation of modified parts, the cost was about AUR 60 million. I had slightly exceeded my initial budget, but was satisfied with the content.

When Akira finishes loading her purchases into the car, she mainly meets Sizka with the Sizkas who went out with her to drop them off.

"Thank you for everything."

Sizka smiles and talks when she realizes Akira's biased attitude.

"I'm in business. Customer service is also a job. Make it Elena and the others if you appreciate it. He wasn't even an employee, but he consulted me in detail."

"Right. Sorry for the inconvenience."

Akira bows her head gently to Elena and Sarah. Elena also noticed the same thing as Sizka, but replies with a laugh to keep it out of the table.

"Never mind. I don't have any business, Akira's got a lot of help, and it's not that big of a deal."

Laughs as Sarah blows her concerns with just a little awareness.

"I know it's okay, but if anything happens with the modified parts I chose, just tell me. I might have chosen it for my physical abilities, so maybe it's a little recoil. I think that fortified clothing would be fine, for once."

"No, now, if you'll excuse me"

Akira gets in the car and leaves. Elena and the others were gently waving away Akira, but gave her a slightly harsh look as Akira's car disappeared from sight.

Elena was aware that Sizka had interrupted the conversation to stop them.

"I guess I touched a weird mine...... Sizka, what do you think would have happened if we had stopped Akira?

"I think I really stopped targeting the sleigh. Instead, Akira will no longer be nostalgic to Elena and the others as before. If you do poorly, you may have had some facial knowledge, some degree..."

The word wire comes up behind Elena's brain. At that time, if you had asked me to, Akira would have stopped targeting Suri really completely. At the cost of taking care of ourselves until now. That anticipation is probably correct, including the fact that Sizka, who is well researched, forcefully interrupted and stopped. Elena somehow thought so.

Elena recalls what she said with a rugged look. But I didn't think I made that many problem statements.

"Did I say something that would make you so angry... Sarah. Sorry. I'm pretty sure I lost Akira's mood because I said something weird."

I shake my neck sideways with a difficult face that Sarah was slightly discouraged.

"It's not Elena's fault. I didn't realize what was so bad either."

Sarah exhales gently.

"... if you did poorly, if Sizka didn't break in, would you have ended your friendship with Akira? Sizka, thank God. Thanks."

Sarah smiled (ho ho) so thanked me, but now Sizka has a slightly harsh look on her face.

"Not now, but was that good?

"Of course. Why?"

"Because the reason why Akira is engaged with a child is not gone any more than she is after a pickpocket. I told Akira to think about it, but it's also a kind of time buyer. Besides, if you calm down and think about it, and you decide to kill him again, you might even think about killing him this time by following him to the end of the earth."

"Uh, sure."

"Did I make a mistake? I wish I could have figured out a way to say Yoo in peace..."

Sizka was mourning her inaction, but Sarah can't think of any better means, either. Above all, Sarah didn't want to think much of Sizka's response or judgment was incorrect. Because if Sizka hadn't broken in, Sarah and the others would have really asked Akira to stop.

If that had been the case, Sarah would have been somewhat but almost completely cut off from Akira and ourselves. We treat ourselves to the extent that we see someone in the store, and even if we invite them to go to the ruins together, as before, they probably refuse without hesitation. I didn't like that.

Ask Elena not to repeat the same mistake while she perceives Sarah's insides to be in agreement.

"Sizka. Do you have any idea why Akira's in such a bad mood? I don't care."

"Do you have any idea... There were times before when Akira was in a pretty bad mood. Maybe it was related."

Sizka told Elena and the others how it was then. The look on Elena's face became even more cloudy.

Elena holds her head lightly.

"... even when you've stopped the damage, are you in a bad mood? How badly Akira was in a bad mood when she was actually stolen, albeit for a small amount. When Akira interpreted my response with that grumpy mood, it seemed like we were trying to help Katsuya's story, that is, after unilaterally believing Suri's testimony, until she cut herself...... is it possible? There you go."

Sizka gives me a slightly pitiful look.

"Maybe Akira has often never had me believe her story before. So much so that I threw away my feelings for you to believe me from the beginning. It was like that somewhere when Akira was asking Elena if it was true."

Elena gives me a harsh look.

"Would you have noticed if you had guessed Akira's attitude a little more carefully then... You've been dragged too far by advance information. He's usually a negotiator, but he's a total loser."

Laughs lightly as Sarah encourages Elena.

"Elena. Don't hold in too much. I'm the one who believed in Katsuya's story. She didn't look like she was lying to Katsuya, and she was desperately sheltering herself. No wonder you believe me...... hmm?

"What's wrong?

"No, suddenly it feels weird for us to believe something like this when we hear another story about a kid who's not even Katsuya himself..."

"... if you say so, so is that"

Elena and Sarah suddenly start to blemish. Sizka looked at the situation wonderfully.

I'm observing Akira with Alpha driving the car. Akira is in a sinking mood as if she was a little depressed when she said she's finished sourcing her new gear, and she looks like she's disguised as frustrated (or unhappy) to pull it up.

Akira had noticed Alpha's gaze, but did not return a response while she seemed grumpy for a while. But I couldn't ignore it forever.

'... is there something you want to say as well?

"I changed it to a new fortified garment, and the weapon also incorporated modified parts, so in a way, it became separate. I'd like time to grasp my new fortified clothes and how user-friendly my new weapon is. Don't tell me you want to go to the ruins of the Old World right away because the hunter will be back in business afterwards'

'... ok.... Is that all?

Alpha answers Akira, who looks like she's exploring something, with the usual smile.

"I agree with Elena and the others that I want Akira to stop trying to kill those sleds by guessing and answering at will about what she wants to hear. For a different reason than Elena and the others."

'What do you mean?

"Unlike Elena and the others, I don't care if those sleds die. All I care about is the hassle that Akira will have in the process of trying to kill that sleigh. If you really want to kill me, I want you to buy me an interpersonal long-range sniper gun and shoot me so I don't find out. And if they suspect me, I don't know. I want them through. It's not right to turn Drancam against your enemies to kill Suri. I agree with Elena and the others."

Ask as Akira is somewhat surprised.

'... so why didn't Alpha recommend me to buy a sniper gun?

"How useful is buying that interpersonal sniper gun to an old world ruin attack?

Akira gets stuck in words. Alpha continues with a slightly more serious look.

"I support Akira because I want Akira to complete my request. Of course (of course), if Akira asks me to support anything irrelevant, but it's basically out of support. Don't forget that. '

Exhales as if Akira lost her mind after a little silence. Even if we were to engage Katsuya and the others to kill Aruna, we were thinking of assuming Alpha's support. Nothing. Alpha's not obliged to go that far with herself. If you take it for granted, it's just sweet. Akira thought so and mocked herself lightly.

'You did. You were a little too sweet. "

It could have been unconsciously solidified. Akira takes a big deep breath once to change her mind thinking so. It may be self-insinuating, but I felt much easier.

Alpha returns her expression to a gentle smile.

"I don't mind you being as sweet as you like, but I just want you to be as kind as I can be about Akira's life. If there's no danger, I won't stop you either. If you need a sniper gun, buy it for your next buck. Anyway, the one with the long range."

'Well, I'll think about that when the money comes in. I have time. Think Slowly'

"Do it."

Guess as Alpha smiles (cheeks) to watch Akira.

When Elena and the others came to Akira and Katsuya, where they were confronting each other, Alpha advised Akira to hurry away from the scene because she decided that Akira and Elena would be more obstinate. However, taking into account the situation that followed, Ning has changed his decision that it should have been left on the spot.

Without Sizka on that spot, Akira's chances of engaging the Katsuya and the others in an attempt to kill Aruna would have been considerably reduced. Appreciation for Elena and the others would have dropped dramatically, as would the opportunity for Akira to stick her neck in the extra. That's what Alpha was guessing. In a way, Alpha made the wrong choice.

It's a shame. Alpha was once satisfied even though she thought so. I don't know if Akira has lowered Elena's treatment to the classification that she's not the enemy, but at least this should have lowered the priority given to Elena's circumstances. That's what I was thinking.

Boss Rogert and his men are in the reception room within the Ezont family base. The roguert had a harsh look on Cheryl.

"Say no...?

Cheryl retains a slightly trembling yet temperamental look.

"Yes. I can't take that story."

"You, you know the situation, don't you?

Rogert stares at Cheryl. Cheryl trembles loudly for a moment, making her expression more strenuous (frightening). Cheryl is here alone without any escort. If Rogert cares, Cheryl dies.

Rogelt exhales. The negotiators say no after understanding the situation. If you kill yourself, you don't have the means to defend yourself that your people are bound to retaliate, and you don't seem to have the clarity of that hand. But it's not a tossing attitude, it's not like I'm taking this one lightly, and it's definitely a coward who gets killed. Rogert didn't know why Cheryl would turn down his proposal.

"He said reconsider. We have a mentor, too. When they blade at weak tissues like you, they scratch the menthol. Or something? So you're telling me you closed a deal with the guys at Harriers first?

"Yes, no, not that kind of thing"

"So what are you unhappy about? Don't worry. Neither are we trying to feed you guys. That's how we're going to incorporate you as our subordinate organization. I have an upside down relationship, and I get paid, and I want you to follow our instructions. Sometimes I might give instructions you guys don't like. But considering the advantages of using us as a back shield, that wouldn't be a big deal, would it? I can also reopen an artifact store that is closed. Money should be earned with it. My men, upset by the robbery, are relieved. It's full of good things. If I were in your shoes, I would never say no."

Rogert was intimidating Cheryl with an ostensibly spare attitude, but he continued to validate against the budding suspicions in his heart.

(... Why reject this suggestion? There should be no reason to say no, either on the ground, conditionally or power-related. If you refuse, they will kill you. This guy just figured it out and turned it down. Did we kill you inside?... No, you don't look like you have a grudge against us)

Rogert raises his hand gently. My men point the gun at Cheryl at the same time. Cheryl's tremor grows and her expression is heavily distorted (boiled) by fear.

All I'm saying is that Rogert is the last chance to make an awesome voice.

"He said reconsider. Hey."

Cheryl shuddered and just kept quiet.

After a brief silence, Rogert tongued and forced his men to lower their guns.

(I won't even reply to fix the occasion. What kind of readiness is that? I don't know. Why?

Cheryl is breathing roughly and repeatedly freeing herself from the muzzle she was pointing at. Show Rogert's intentional demeanor.

"It's a big deal to be brave. If you're not comfortable with the terms I offered you, tell me. I'm just gonna ask you to spare your guts."

But Cheryl remained silent. Rogert tongues again and gives instructions to his men.

"Take him. Stick it in some room until you change your mind."

Grab (or take) each of Cheryl's arms, where two of his men stand up. Cheryl was carried away without resistance.

Rogelt holds his head lightly. What I thought was an easy negotiation was suddenly frustrating for reasons I had no idea. I don't even know why because of a completely unscheduled situation. That increases Rogert's anxiety and frustration and makes him aware of certain concerns.

It was Viola who brought this plan to Rogert. Isn't this a ploy by a woman of poor quality? I can't really wipe that concern once I'm conscious.

"… confirm"

Rogert took several of his men to another place of detention.

The story Viola brought to Cheryl as a temper for Akira was with the Ezont family. Originally, it's beneficial enough to talk about things that are not relevant to weak organizations like Cheryl and the others.

Cheryl was then guided to the base of the Ezont family by Rogert's men, whom Viola called, and was told more by Rogert in the room he was put through. That's the first time I've heard about putting Cheryl's cell party under the umbrella of the Ezont family, but that's not inherently a bad story either. If that's the case, Cheryl was happy to talk to Rogert, too.

The problem is that Rogert tried to take in Cheryl and the others because he pawned Akira via Cheryl. Realizing that, Cheryl had to turn down Rogert's suggestion.

From the side (for) it looks like Cheryl is used to keeping Akira in herself as good. Even in love (ho) weakness, he uses Akira as the back shield of the detachment party to take the boss's seat, even let him give away clothes made in the old world, even ask for security at the relic store, and even make his own money selling off the robbery Akira repelled. Looks as easy (yawning) as Cheryl moves Akira as Rogert asked.

But that's all a misunderstanding. Cheryl doesn't have that power. And I can't be honest with Rogert about that. And I can't push that misunderstanding through either. If you accept Rogert's suggestion and ask Akira to follow the instructions of the Ezont family, Akira will abandon herself lightly. Cheryl had that certainty.

Cheryl had another certainty. If you imitate Akira and sell her even if she is lying on the spot, she will always be exposed and suspected, hostile, and discarded without solving the misconception that she is lying. That was close to the paranoid paranoia that Cheryl had developed, which had recently continued to fail, but it didn't make a difference that I was so sure.

Those certainties are the harm that Cheryl has done to make Akira the backbone of his own spirit. Whether Rogert and the others killed you here or abandoned you later by Akira, Cheryl doesn't make a big difference.

As a result, Cheryl was imprisoned in one of the rooms in the hall, once in a room that maintained the physical appearance of the guest. Information terminals have also been taken away. Cheryl is the only one in the room. No watch, but the doors are locked and there are no windows. It's impossible to escape.

Cheryl distorted her expression like it was spicy and squeaked.

"... what shall we do"

Will Akira come and help me? I thought so only for a moment, but as soon as Cheryl's brilliant (groaning) brain began to understand the situation and explore the possibilities, it disappeared.

I can't even get in touch with Akira. Akira doesn't even know where she is. Above all, would Akira be hostile to the Ezont family to help herself? The part of Cheryl's head that was as calm as someone else's (one) thing immediately gave the answer. That it's not a realistic possibility.

Cheryl smiles crumbling bitterly. There was a whimper in the room.
