Rebuild World

171 Judgment of Tsubaki

Weapon dogs chasing Akira and the others running away. Both attacks continue in a bunch of ruins lined with half-destructed buildings.

The Weapon Dogs are overwhelmingly outnumbered in terms of firepower. He keeps spitting out bullets, shells and missiles, as if to destroy Akira every building around him.

Alpha continues to evade enemy attacks by driving around precision poles using motorcycle mobility. Akira feels a winding blast in her skin from the vicinity of a motorcycle traveling at high speeds, sometimes wrapped in smoke, while continuing to snipe at enemies with no sign of decreasing no matter how many she knocks down.

The enemy is outnumbered, firepower and endurance. To the enemy's onslaught, Akira and the others had an exceptional evasion capability based on Alpha's ballistic calculations and grasp of the terrain, as well as an aiming accuracy to target missiles and other areas of weakness.

The battle that continued while changing the topography of the ruins begins to show signs of an end. Both munitions are starting to run out. It led Akira and the others to dominance at the time of the illness.

The Weapon Dogs' ammunition is biorefined. If you fire a large number of artillery shells and missiles, it will take time to resupply ammunition, whether it is an automatic replenishment function incorporated into biological weapons or a purification function based on old world technology. Akira had also prioritized destroying individuals with more remnants of ammunition.

Even if a runaway individual runs to eat and kill his enemies, it's slower than Akira's motorcycle on a boulder (just fine). Additionally, as long as the enemy's barrage is reduced, the distance traveled by dodging actions is reduced. Alpha pours its margin into linear acceleration, earning distance from the enemy at once.

Once tilted, the scales never went back. Akira and the others ran straight through the ruins and escaped from the Weapon Dogs.

Stop the bike around Akira from the back of the ruins through the outer periphery and out into the wilderness. And look at the ruins as they cross (again) onto the bike.

'... you got away with it, didn't you?

Smile so Alpha can reassure you.

'I totally escaped from that herd. Monsters that originally live in the back (or), so even if you expand your range of action, the limit is near the back of the outer periphery. It won't even come out of the ruins. If it comes out, the city's defensemen will be taking a leap and eliminating it.'

Keep yourself on the bike so Akira can gently enter. And exhaled with great relief (mostly).

'... I'm tired. But did you manage it? No, that was tough.'

'Good day, I just wanted to say, but it's only until you get back to the city that you're completely relieved'

'I know. But give me a break.'

'You have no choice. Just a little bit, huh?

Akira snorted lightly and exhaled loudly again to exhale her fatigue. Moving his gaze somehow as he kept himself in the body of the vehicle, he caught sight of the relics of the old world that had been carried in a lump.

It's a relic I brought back from such a splendid ruin. I was told that although the product was treated as waste, there were no quality problems. Then it should be quite expensive. Akira thought so, raising the selling assumption unconsciously and loosening her face considerably.

The bike suddenly moves out. Momentum turns the tire of all-wheel drive, which allows for individually flexible direction of movement control, and grasps (or accelerates) the ground with the strong grounding force of the tire while changing the direction of movement almost directly and horizontally on the spot.

At the same time, get in shape so Akira's fortified clothes don't move off on their own. Push Akira off the spot at high speeds while holding her painful inertia in with the physical ability of the reinforced garment.

Ask in haste as Akira compresses her physical sensory time reflexively.

"Alpha! Suddenly what!?

"Stop the break! Enemy! '

An explosion occurs behind Akira. A giant blast spread on the spot, catching up with Akira, who fled and swallowed the look.

Akira on a motorcycle jumps out of the spreading smoke. Akira is safe thanks to the protective coat's force field armor, Forcefield Armor. The motorcycle has no problem either. However, the rucksack that was attached to the body of the vehicle could not withstand the impact of the blast and was flying into space.

Akira accidentally chases a rucksack that flies through the universe with her eyes. I see a rucksack that hits the ground and bounces, causing my expression to be heavily distorted (boiled).

"My artifact!? I've brought you this far!?

"Don't worry about the artifact until later!

Alpha yelled and pointed to the wilderness. Akira turns her gaze to you with a rugged look. But I don't see the enemy like that.

'He's not here! You're being attacked from a distance you can't see?

Shortly after asking, Akira is surprised and slightly stiff. Some of the wilderness scenery was distorted, and a giant mechanical monster emerged from it. I don't see anything resembling a wepon dog, but the beast part is also a dog-shaped machine that looks like a living part. Armed is a giant cannon carrying.

"Optical camo! Hey, seriously, why is that guy here? This place is outside the ruins already, huh?

"You have a pretty advanced camouflage. Besides, you're from the wilderness."

"How do you know that?

'Cause if you're from the ruins side, you're hooked on my enemy. The wilderness side is based on information obtained from Akira's information-gathering equipment. That's why we're late in discovering the enemy. "

Alpha switches the direction of the motorcycle to the giant mechanical beast. Akira tries to set up a CWH objective assault gun with the understanding that she won't run away with it.

"Akira. Using the Forcefield Armor Ammo Against (Anti-) Force Field Armor"

Akira laughs bitterly as she replaces the magazine. I didn't expect to use the bullet I would have bought instead as a trump card in the unlikely event.

I thought I bought it as an amulet.

Laughs as Alpha blows Akira's bitter smile.

"Oh, how can you survive this predicament? This is where we thank you for that, isn't it?

'Things seem to say.... at this time. That's what I'm gonna do!

Akira laughs and sets up a CWH objective assault gun. The motorcycle accelerates even further. It packs the distance while snaking at high speeds (to drive the enemy mad). A giant shell ran past Akira's side, causing an explosion in the rear.

Strong inertia strikes Akira and the motorcycle whenever they turn sharply to avoid enemy shelling. Alpha also uses the force field armor of the body, Force Field Armor, for inertial control, to forcefully bend the direction of movement at a sharp angle that is difficult to think from its speed of movement. Akira puts up a gun while being resistant to inertia with the physical ability of her fortified clothes.

"Akira. I'll use the blade, too. Get ready."

"Is he that strong an opponent? Why is such a strong monster in a place like this? Isn't that weird? '

'I can't help it because I'm in real life. Think of it as bad luck and good luck to be able to deal with it.'

"Right."

When Akira laughed bitterly, she held the blade from her nostrils with her right hand as she stood the CWH objective assault gun with her left hand, taking out a shaped object with only a knife pattern and holding the tip sideways to the outside. Silver liquid metal extends from the pattern to build a very long blade. The blade continued to extend for more than three metres and for human use it extended to an incompatible length before beginning to glow blue.

Akira scratches the shell as she stretches the blade sideways. And concentrated to the extreme to aim the CWH objective assault gun.

"Shoot me!

A pair of (anti-) force field armored Forcefield Armor bullets are fired from the CWH Objective Assault Gun. The bullet hit the head of the mechanical beast, and intense shock-converted light splashed around it.

The mechanical beast was calculating enemy ballistics, concentrating his own force field armor, Forcefield Armor, near the landing. For this reason, even if the impact of crushing each body with a single blow was to the extent of a simultaneous combat vehicle, it only sustained damage to the extent of a major disfigurement. However, the Force Field Armor's defense was temporarily greatly reduced.

Akira packs the distance at once while the mechanical beast is out of shape. And shake off the blade by rubbing off the bike acceleration as well as the enemy giant. It passes as the blade devours and cleaves into the enemy's metal body, scattering sparks and sounding cutting noises.

The motorcycle passes the mechanical beast and stops as it flips behind it. The blade blade was shattered and scattered.

"Did you do it!?

Akira sees the mechanical beast with a rugged look. The mechanical beast that was destroyed the core slowly collapsed.

Alpha laughs and tells the victory.

'I knocked him down. Now it's time for good luck'

Akira exhales with great relief. And when I saw the blade that was just the pattern, I laughed bitterly and threw it away.

"Old world-made blade on high vs. (anti-) force field armored Forcefield Armor ammunition. Did you manage to win by consuming two trump cards? '

Akira exhales heavily. The blade is a relic I brought back from Tubaki Halabir, one I've missed trying to use myself without selling it. It's still there, but it doesn't make a difference that I consumed it quickly.

Laugh and make a bright voice to cheer up Akira, who Alpha is depressed.

"Winning is winning. Let's pick up the artifact and go home."

Akira looks a little surprised and unexpected.

"Picking it up and going home, is that, is it not broken? I flew away so flashy, are you okay?

'I told you it's a waste, but there's no quality problem, is there? The relics of the old world are quite sturdy. Probably no problem. And even if it was a little broken, there's no difference in precious artifacts. I can sell enough. "

Akira laughs happily. I thought I'd lost it because it flew so flashy. I got in a good mood and headed to pick up the artifact.

When Akira picked up the flying rucksack and the artifact that was splashing from inside, she spanned (again) onto the bike with it in her arms. I left the motorcycle driving entirely to Alpha, holding the relic with both hands so as not to drop it, and headed back to Kugamayama City with a bit of difficulty. Only the remains of a giant mechanical beast were left on the spot.

Behind the Tsubaki Harabil, the automatic doll operated by Tsubaki, the building's administrative personality, squeaks.

"Did you knock him down?"

Tsubaki was observing the battle of Akira and the others. Both the way he engaged the Weapon Dog herd and the way he destroyed the Machine Beast and left, he captured it firmly through a communication line equipped with monsters.

"It's far from getting an accurate grasp of the power of battle. But let's just say we've reached a reason to consider it."

Alpha negotiated with Tsubaki to let Akira get the waste. In the context of that successful negotiation, there is also a difference between the forces of Alpha and Tsubaki, but there is also a significant consideration of the damage that would occur if it became a battle within the Tsubaki control area.

If you give the waste product and you pull back heavily, you don't need to suffer unnecessary damage. That is why Tsubaki accepted Alpha's proposal. In other words, if it was enough to trample the ants, it would have killed Akira.

Whatever the difference in position, if Alpha underestimated herself enough to boast that Ant (Yes) was a dragon, Tsubaki was going to respond accordingly. Weapon dog herds and mechanical beasts are the result of Tsubaki's move to confirm it.

With this result, Tsubaki decided that Akira was worthy of consideration in the context of Alpha. In a good or a bad way.

Akira was going to go sell the relics of the old world that she had brought home from Tubaki Harabir immediately. But Alpha stopped me. A lot of small work is done so that no strange rumors (rumors) can arise and even if they do, the actual harm can be minimized. That's how it was explained. After returning home, when I packed the returned artifacts into my home warehouse room, I took care of my gear and other things to get into the break.

The next day, Akira stuffed a small amount of the artifact into a rucksack that was relatively safe, she rode a motorcycle and took it out into the wilderness. And when I got to the Higalaka Residential District ruins, I trained and killed time for a while, and then went back very far to Kugamayama City and gradually (Shiya) went to sell the artifacts to Katsuragi.

Katsuragi used to stop the trailer with the store in its usual location. Akira showed up on a motorcycle there, so she speaks out in an openly dissatisfied manner.

"Akira. You're replenishing your healing pills again? What's going on with the hunter operator? I was hoping it would be time for the boulders to sell their artifacts."

Akira didn't break her usual attitude when she heard the urging of Katsuragi's largely diminished expectations. And answer in a tone that suits that attitude.

"Oh. Today's errands are that way"

I smile at the merchant by changing the look on his face that the cuttlefish seem unhappy with.

"Whoa! Right! Finally!

But that grin quickly turns into something surprising.

"... so what about that artifact?

When Akira made the little rucksack look like a snail, the snail turned her expression into a mixture of dissatisfaction and dismay and exhaled (sighed).

When Akira came to sell the relics before, she was packing the relics to the limit in a rather large rucksack. Without fortified clothing, it was difficult to travel. I was expecting the same amount of cuttlefish, but this time it's a small rucksack, and there's almost no contents. I can't expect any amount.

"That's all... Well, no. Up."

Katsuragi sat facing the table as he put Akira in the employee refrain part of the trailer. And respond with an unmotivated attitude.

"Well, then, I'll appraise you, so get me out the artifact"

Akira removes the artifact from the rucksack and places it on the table. Metallic or rubber-like spherical objects in cube-shaped transparent cases. Old world-made information terminals. That puts six of them unmade.

The expression of the cuttlefish, which seems to be of little interest, solidifies after a few moments. And after opening his eyes with surprise, he stares into eating in.

"Ko, is this..., yes, no, wait, is it real? Hey, where have you found this?

"Where? From the ruins."

"I'm not. What ruins?

"Don't tell me."

"Hey, don't tell me..."

The cuttlefish were showing mild upset and bewilderment. Akira shows mild dissatisfaction.

"If you don't tell me where it came from, I'll take it elsewhere. I brought it to the snail first, as promised. I got through it."

I rush to stop watching Akira as the cuttlefish try to return the artifact to the rucksack.

"Wait, wait, wait, wait! Wait, wait, wait! Don't put it back! I'll appraise it, so put it there! I'll make you some coffee! Drink that and wait!

The snail brings in the coffee and puts it in front of Akira. Then take out the apparatus for the appraisal and start examining the artifacts with care. Akira looked sideways at the appraisal as she drank her coffee and pretended to be calm that way.

Ask as the snail wears a monocular microscopic instrument in one eye and peeks into the artifact with a difficult expression, pretending not to do anything.

"Hey Akira. You, what do you think this is?

"He thinks it's an artifact that's going to sell at a high price."

"How high is the price, exactly?

Alpha interrupts there.

"Akira. Blow it all you want."

"Billion Orum"

When I heard that forehead, the snail blew out gently.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Wrong digits on the boulder…"

The cuttlefish said so much and noticed Akira's gaze. There was mild distrust and accusation.

"If I spoke of a cheap forehead without knowing it, you'd be willing to buy it off at that cheap price, wouldn't you?

The snail laughs as if it were a misdemonization. But it hasn't been misdemonized. Normal snails don't make this kind of mistake. It's the result of being upset by a high-priced artifact you didn't imagine.

"That's a misunderstanding. If we don't share the minimum amount of information with each other, we may rub it with the purchase price. Just checking."

"I wonder"

"Don't say that. You wouldn't be surprised if I offered you an unexpected high?

"I'm not willing to complain about the expensive part. So, you've done your assessment?

"Well, wait. It's going to be an unexpected high. I'm not in charge of appraising artifacts, either. If you don't make a good appraisal, it's hard to price it. I'd like to keep it for a few days if I could, but no?

"No."

Katsuragi makes Akira look unhappy.

"That's as good as it sounds. It's me and you, isn't it? He said it would definitely be better to take the time to make a good appraisal. Maybe an appraiser I know will give you an appraisal or something? As I said, I'm not in charge of appraising artifacts. He said it was definitely better that way. Huh?"

But Akira shakes her neck to the side.

"No. I'm sorry, but I don't believe in snails that much either. After being removed from my possession, they replaced it with a fake one. I knew it was a cheap artifact, so I gave it back. I want to avoid it."

"'Cause it's okay. I don't trust you."

"Because I don't usually say or do things that overwhelm my credibility. Including earlier."

I exaggerated slightly as the snail laughed to mislead (sesame seeds). Akira exhales lightly.

"Well, I don't think a snail would do that either. But once you let it go, you don't know how far it'll go. It's just that I can't believe it until I know someone I know. In case anything happens, if the snail takes full responsibility and says you'll pay me a billion aurums, you can take it, okay?

The snail giggles bitterly. As a hunter dealer, I know what Akira is trying to say.

"No, it's a boulder. But..."

The snail starts roaring again. It is true that the appraisal of relics is not a real job. It is also true that one's own appraisal techniques and hand-held investigative equipment are excessive. A compromise will then be presented after a brief reflection.

"Can't you just call an appraiser I know here?

"If you want an appraisal in front of me, do as you please."

"Good! Just wait a minute!

Katsuragi grabbed the information terminal and began to prepare quickly.

Then came several appraisers called by Katsuragi. He then began examining the artifacts using investigative equipment the size of which also appeared to be portable slightly exaggerated.

Akira seemingly sees it flat while sipping (soaking) additional coffee. Inside, however, I was a little rushed.

'Something's been exaggerating me a lot. I've been doing a lot of research, but it's still a machine, and was it broken by that shock?

Alpha smiles as usual.

'It's okay. Akira should be more prestigious and well-deserved. If you show any weakness, they'll put you in there, right?

"I know, I know."

Akira continued her efforts to maintain her spare attitude while calming her down to sip (soot) coffee.

As the appraisal of the relic continues, the cuttlefish and the other take their seats off and go to the back. And start whispering so Akira doesn't hear you.

"Hey cuttlefish. Is that the kid who brought in that artifact?

"It doesn't matter. Just do the appraisal. What do you say? Is it real?"

"I can't be sure because the equipment I brought in has limits on accuracy, but it's probably real. The quality doesn't seem to be a problem either. Strongly speaking, there was a slight distortion (boil) in the case, but to that extent, it should not affect the contents. So, what relic did you come from?

"I'll be persistent. Can't you open it and check inside?

"Some of the contents are wasted if you don't open them in the right procedure on that hand artifact. Especially if it's the type of product that you take into your body. I think the powdered product belongs to that hand. If you open it up and waste the artifact, you can't take responsibility. Why can't you tell me where you're from? Because that kid doesn't know anything, he's just a hauler? Are there any other hunters who found the artifact? Are you chewing on the disguise of origin, too?

"Whatever. He asked for an appraisal of the artifact my guest brought in. I hope so. If you're too persistent, I'll take you off the case, okay?

When the rattlesnake said so and stared at him, the target stopped pursuing him.

Subsequently, reports and consultations on the findings of the replacement and replacement artifacts continued, as well as related clandestine discussions. When it came to a conclusion, Katsuragi threw the callers out of the trailer once. And sitting across from Akira pinching the artifact brings a merchant's grin to mind.

"You kept me waiting. The assessment is over. So, that's the amount, but you want immediate payment. Even the hunter's office shopping mall is usually the shortest day, and if you do poorly, they wait a few weeks. Listen to me with that in mind. All right?"

"Okay. So, how much?

Katsuragi smiles at Kaishin.

"Sixty million aurum. How about this?

Akira makes her expression slightly harder. And somewhat with a rugged look, I silently stare down at the artifact on the table.

"Hey, don't shut up. Answer me if I'm good with that amount."

Akira's expression is the result of holding her face loose to an unexpectedly high price. I'm just staring at the artifact because I'm surprised it came with an expensive price and I accidentally take a serious look at it.

But the cuttlefish regarded Akira's attitude as worrying about whether it was good or not with that forehead because of the rush. And I saw Akira's move to take the artifact in hand to see it better as a move to return it to the rucksack without selling the artifact.

"Hey! Wait! Rethink it! It's 60 million, 60 million orum!? Let me get this straight. If you take it to the Hunter's office, it's good and it's about 50 million. It will never be 60 million. That would raise the Hunter Rank for that matter, but you'd rather have money, wouldn't you? If money is better, you don't say anything bad, so sell it to me."

Akira compares the artifact in her hand with the face of the cuttlefish in silence.

"Plus, when you bring it into the hunter's office shopping, they'll definitely ask you a lot of questions, right? Same with other buyers. You don't want to talk about where the artifact came from, do you? I would buy it in silence without asking anything. I don't even play poorly. That should be more convenient for you, too. So sell it to me."

Akira remains silent. The cuttlefish step in with a heightened impatience.

"Okay! Conditionally, I'll give you 70 million aurums! How about this! That's the limit to the boulder! If you can't do this, I'll give up!

"Conditions?

Katsuragi loosened his expression slightly after hearing Akira's positive opinion. And regain some calm and continue with the grin of the merchant as he leaves in a hurry.

"I'll give you 70 million, but it's 30 million to pay with gold, 40 million to buy my merchandise and offset it. I guess we'll be replenishing plenty of healing pills anyway? It shouldn't be a problem. You can order other products, or you can order something you need. I mean, pay up front. And then, when you get a similar artifact again, the first thing you need to do is bring it properly to me. That's the deal."

Akira was calming her insides by pretending to think about it. Katsuragi awaits a response as she intensifies her inner rush. In the midst of strange tension, Akira replies in a quiet tone that kept her calm.

"... ok. That's good."

"All right. I'll wire it right up, check it out."

Katsuragi rushed to finish the transfer process before Akira changed her mind. Akira confirmed the deposit and communicated it.

"All right. That's a deal."

The cuttlefish laughed and exhaled loudly. Then carefully store the purchased artifacts in a sturdy storage case. He then handed the storage case back to those who kicked him out. There was a slight rush with the outside as well, and it also went well, so it looked very satisfying.

"It was quite a deal. Well, it's my business time from now on. Is it a healing pill first? I'll get it. Just give me a minute."

The snail returns with a stock of recovery drugs. Among the restorative drugs placed on the table were products different from the two million aurum restorative drugs Akira has been using regularly recently. The snail puts it in front of Akira.

"My recommendation is this. It's a luxury item I bought specially for you, five million aurums a box."

"Five million aurum is a little high on boulders?

Akira smiles.

"It's originally a product for hunters working in more eastern regions. I can't help but be expensive. That's what luxury goods are for. But it's a good product. I told you. I bought it specially for you. To be clear, your consumption of recovery pills is selling enough to make me even a little nervous. Don't you have any idea?

"... well, that's"

Akira's consumption of healing pills is so misconstrued as being unscrupulous (mucha) in pursuit of Superman. I am starting to take residual nanomachine remover medication but it still takes time to consume it. I plan to do the next full-scale site exploration after I finish drinking it.

Snort as hard as a snail can convince your opponent.

"Right? That's where this product is. This is a product for hunters who use healing medicines more often and is focused on reducing residual nanomachine problems. The effects of residual nanomachines are considerably lower even after more use in the short term. It is also highly restorative so that you do not need to use it more often, and the treatment nanomachine stays in the body for a long time while it is treatable. Exactly the right product for you. I bought two boxes this time. Buy it. I have 40 million aurums. I don't know if I need to destroy this life-threatening product.

"Okay. I'll buy it."

"Every time. I thought you'd buy it."

"What would you have done if I hadn't bought it? Can you sell a five million aurum recovery pill around here?

"That's you, well, what, my business genius. Sooner or later, you'll be a hunter who makes enough money to buy it with an easy win. That's what my business genius convinced me."

What do you say?

To the bragging cuttlefish, Akira had a half-hearted gaze.

The snail is not lying. But in case it was sold out, I had a good idea of sending it through a vendor I knew to another city to minimize the loss. It's also a cuttlefish business genius.

Akira bought two boxes of five million aurum of restorative medicine and five boxes of two million aurum of restorative medicine, and ordered two more boxes of five million aurum of restorative medicine. The remaining 10 million aurum was put on hold and later decided to use it when buying the right trinket.

I've got some errands to run. Akira's riding her motorcycle and leaving. Squirting (crushing) as the cuttlefish watches Akira behind her.

"I also thought if Akira hadn't brought in the artifacts like this, we would need to reverse Akira's and Cheryl's treatment, but I didn't expect to bring in anything like this. Cheryl's going to be a better customer, and my commercial luck's coming up again? Is this where you bet?

One day it will become a ruling company and get a broad range of ruling economies to issue corporate currencies. Dreaming of despair, Katsuragi laughed contentedly feeling the foothold to make it happen.
