Rebuild World

174 Ellio et al. 's side business

The next day, Akira was coming to Higalaka Residential District ruins again. And as I crossed (again) onto the bike, I was a little surprised by the unexpected sight when I saw the ruins from around the border with the wilderness. I had expected to some extent to be precise, but its magnitude was considerably beyond my expectations.

"That's a lot."

Alpha has an unusual smile. It is not clear from that attitude whether it is the scope of the prediction (Han-chu) or whether it does not matter.

"Sure, that's a bit much."

Numerous hunters are in the process of collecting artifacts among the ruins. Many vehicles are also stopped (and) and mixed up to large trucks. I even saw a large heavy machine.

"Maybe they've all heard rumors about relics, but I didn't think it would get any more."

Akira was also aware of why Alpha had let her train herself here for a few days. Instead of the Tsubakiharabil in the back of the Kuzhara Street ruins, it was somewhere in the Higaraka Residential District ruins that were piling up factors that would make anyone trying to find it wrong.

We traveled all the way to and from the ruins, repeated relic collection training here, and sent small quantities of relics out for purchase in order to distort (yu) the contents of rumours (rumors) at hand that would almost certainly have occurred if the relics had been sent out for purchase.

"The people who are here have become feathers to keep searching until they give up an unavailable artifact..."

Akira felt mild guilt imagining the jail time that would be repeated, but was not at all willing to correct the rumors (rumors) because of that. Instead, whine like a lot of misdemonization.

"... accurate information is important."

Alpha laughs joyfully without worrying about the shards.

'There's no need for Akira to get sick. Hunters also had important technology to get the right information, and they didn't have it. That's all. And if we look for this many people, we might find one or so of them.'

'Really? But this ruin is lonely because we can't find any more expensive artifacts, right? Is that possible?

'There's a chance there's a place left to be missed. I'm lonely because even if it were, it wouldn't be worth the effort I'm looking for. If you look at this number of people simultaneously, you will increase the likelihood that you will find them. If you've heard rumors, you've brought in high-performance information-gathering equipment, so your discovery rate should increase. Of course, even if someone found it, it would be a huge deficit overall.'

"Can't Alpha Easily Find It?

"As I've explained before, we can't afford that much accuracy in exploration and hostility anywhere but in the ruins of Kuzsuhara Street. If you really want to do this, you have to buy an awesome, high-performance information-gathering device. Still, the limits will be met."

'... right. I'll think about it.'

Akira was thinking of something else as she answered that.

(It is also the ruins of Kuzsuhara Street that I met Alpha. He also said he negotiated with the administrative personality of Tubakiharabir in the back of it so that he could give up the artifact. I guess there's something to do with the ruins of Kuzsuhara Street and Alpha...)

If you're conscious again, you don't have to think about it. But I don't know any more. And it's silly to ask poorly. Akira shoved the interest she had developed deep into her heart again. And I switched my mind so that I didn't pull it off.

'So, you're still training to collect artifacts today? Isn't that good enough? That's not what this number of hunters will do in the ruins of the boulder. "

'Right. Shall we go home today?'

Akira turns back to the city. There were those who watched the situation, but it did not greatly affect the condition of the site. The situation of the people who were working to collect the relics of Ning (Mutsumi) was slightly enlivened. The person who apparently found the expensive artifact of the rumor turned around thinking that it was impossible to get close to the place where the artifact was in front of this number without others knowing. That's how many people judged it.

Rumors are calling for rumors, and the number of people who come looking for artifacts continues to increase. The noise of the Higalaka Residential District ruins was unlikely to subside for the moment.

Akira, who returned to the Kugamayama city, headed straight for Cheryl's stronghold. I got a text message from Corbe on my way back to the city. If you're around in your spare time, I'd like you to show your face because I need to talk to you a little bit. To that extent, there was also an atmosphere from the text in which Akira didn't really expect to show her face.

I could have ignored it, but I had time to spare because I cut my plans at the Higalaka Residential District ruins. And by chance I was close to Cheryl's stronghold. Akira somehow decided to put her face on the base.

I don't have any errands for Cheryl but I'm not willing to go out to see him or bother making errands from myself to see him, but if I have time and opportunity, will I show my face about it? Akira's thinking is to that extent. But only marginally reflected Cheryl's convenience and desires in the decision. That's a slight bias you can't even be aware of, but if you do, it was quite a surprise to Akira herself.

Akira is put through to one of the strongholds. In the room were Corbe and Levin, and Elio and his men. Corbe was quite surprised to see Akira.

"Akira. What, are you here?"

Show Akira a little dissatisfaction.

"You must be the one who called me here."

"I called him, but he didn't even reply, and I thought maybe he wouldn't come. Well, don't be angry. We're the ones who lost the bet."

"Bet?"

He moved the gold that Corbe had placed on the table with a bitter smile toward Elio. It's a bet between Corbe and Levin. It was Elio's total take, which I was betting on those who were coming.

Actually, Elio also really wanted to bet on those who didn't have Akira coming. But when Levin brought out the relationship between Akira and Cheryl and told me that it was like he suspected the two of them of getting along when he bet against those who didn't come, he had to bet against those who came in position.

Levin is holding his head lightly. The stakes are not a big deal given the current Levin's earnings. But there was something a little heartbreaking about losing a bet I thought I could win because I was a debtor.

Corbe is done laughing bitterly. Elio was a little overwhelmed by an unexpectedly large income.

Akira exhaled, distorting her expression in disgust.

"You were betting on whether I was coming or not. Hey, I guess that's not all business is, huh?

"I'm not calling you for that kind of reason. I'll explain. Sit down."

When Kolbe said so and Yu (right) meh, Akira sat in the open seat in surprise (a lot).

"So, what's an errand?

"Oh, I was wondering if I could ask for his help if I was free."

Corbe pointed to Elio before beginning to explain in detail to Akira. Elio seemed subtly uncomfortable.

The Ellios have been helping Corbe with his work the last few days. Once Corbe asks Cheryl for a job, it's in the form Cheryl is lending the Elios and the others.

Elio's job is primarily to search for the debtors. A significant part of Slam Street, the other day's range of engagement centered around the stronghold of the Ezont family, has a massive roll of the bodies of those who died in the recent Great War. After capturing the face of the body on an information device to see if it is the debtor, the debtor packs it in a carcass bag for each possession and equipment and carries it under (or under) the financier who takes it.

Leave the body, which is not the debtor. We don't strip possessions from corpses. This is also due to the fact that adding the work will take longer, but it was more than that for the safety of Elio and the others.

The possession of the body rolling into Slam Street is implicitly seen as the property of the inmate party that manages the territory. But the Ezont family is already devastated, so its territory is as blank as it is falling into the wilderness.

But that's why it's a little problematic when Elio and the others bring back the body's possessions. Because the action was seen by other inmates as moving to secure the territory where Cheryl's inmate party became a blank space.

If you pick up the gear that you can still use, it will be enough money. If we pick each other up with an early victory, the rubbing (also) occurs immediately, and we develop into a snatch between the killers. Now we're in the middle of a party discussion to prevent it. If we try to get out, we get bagged from all the people who are trying to adjust their interests.

Elio and the others undertook to search for and collect debtors from Corbe, avoiding misunderstandings and keeping them safe by not putting their hands on the possessions of rolling corpses.

That's all I heard. Akira pinches her mouth at the description of the Corbes.

"You mean you can help me with that? Something's going to stink, and it doesn't even seem like what I need. I guess Elio and the others have been the only ones ever to do that, huh?

Corbe shakes his head to the side.

"If it's outside the Ezont family stronghold. Things are a little different on the inside. On the outside, we can talk about not rubbing (or rubbing) the members of the inmate party there or the people who live in the area. But on the inside, it can't be a hunter battle for his prey. Anyway, the quantity and quality of things is different from the outside."

The Ezont family was a massive detachment party that kept a strip under control. There is a large quantity of supplies in the building that were in its possession, and a large number of destroyed vehicles, tanks, man-made weapons, etc., are also left unattended. Many have died in battle, and their equipment is relatively expensive. Bring them all back and they'll be gold in different digits than the slum city drops.

In other words, it's like the ruins of the old world suddenly appeared near Slam Street. Moreover, the monsters are relatively safe because they do not inhabit either, and falling prey, such as corpse gear and remaining supplies, are easily earned ruins that can be expected to be of considerable value. Many hunters and hunter breakdowns were moving towards collecting prey.

"The atmosphere and feel of that place, the flux of avoiding engagement, is already closer to the ruins of the old world than Slam Street, to say the least. The outward debtor search also came to a paragraph. So I'm planning on looking inside next, but it's a little dangerous for me and Levin to just take Ellio and the others around on that spot. So if Akira's free, I'm gonna need your help."

"Then why don't we just go with Corbe and Levin?

"If you don't like Akira, I plan on doing so. But in that case, I'm not taking Elio and the others, so there's no reward to give Cheryl. But Elio and the others won't be eating with your pennies forever. Why don't you let him earn it when you can, to encourage independence? You're also training for that, aren't you?

Akira starts to worry about roaring a little.

"If I help, what's the reward for me?

"Sorry, but you can only pay the same percentage as me. I'm hired, too. If you want more, you can negotiate for yourself and increase your share from the minute you give it to Elio and the others. The ratio is one for me, Levin, Akira and Elio. This is the amount of foreclosure, and the amount that is picked up at the site is handled individually. Don't stop me, but don't neglect my job."

When Akira started roaring again, Corbe looked surprised.

From a hunter who makes money like Akira, such as the reward for this job, it's money. If you're going to talk about personal rewards, if you need to consider the amount of rewards to decide whether or not to take this job, you'll probably say no. That's what Corbe thought, but Akira is showing stray.

I don't know. Do you have a pulse? Corbe decides to mouth a little more when he decides so. I called Akira without expecting too much, but I'm sure it would be easier if she accompanied me.

"I guess that means you're free to be here, huh? Isn't that good? Help me. Ellio and the others are going to be licked if the real stuff isn't mixed up."

"Real?"

Akira looks surprised without knowing what that means. Then Corbe pointed to Elio and the others. Akira takes another look at Elio and the others, but she still didn't know what it meant.

supplement as Alpha smiles bitterly.

"Akira. Take a good look at Elio and the others' outfits. Although not exactly the same, Akira's outfit would be quite similar to shades and general outfits, wouldn't it?

Elio and the others were all dressed in black based outfits. The black coat was also woven with feathers.

'Sure you are if you ask me. What's wrong with that?

To Akira, who is unpredictable, let him seep slightly into the bitter laughter that Alpha is having.

'... I mean, as much as I can, dressing up like Akira and being mistaken for Akira, I'm trying to prevent her from getting obsessed and tangled up'

I mean, Elio and the others are Akira's impostors. It is a replacement for Akira, whose chances of resuming hunter operations and putting her face on base have dramatically diminished. It's not like Akira's face is out there, so it's enough to make them suspect that she just looks like it in the distance, maybe. Even then, Elio and the others will be somewhat safer.

Akira gradually understood Corbe's story. However, it remained surprising. And suggest with a slightly more serious face.

"Elio. I don't mind accompanying you, but I didn't undertake an escort. It moves to the degree of companionship, but don't ask me for more than that. If that's good, I'll follow. I'm free. What do we do?"

"Enough. Please."

In the course of our conversation with Corbe and the others, we imitated (well) calling Akira to help us with our work without going through Cheryl, but for now, Akira doesn't seem to be in a bad mood. Elio exhaled relieved (mostly).

A palm roars in one of the clinics.

"I failed. No, I'm partially successful."

The display shows Tiol attempting to escape the experimental patient's room. After eating the restraint and returning the chopped hands and feet to freedom, Tiol slowly walked to the wall and continued to stand (bulbous) with his left hand pressed against the wall.

Then there was a sudden explosion and a big hole in the wall. My left arm is blowing up over my elbow, but Tiol walked out of the room from a hole he had drilled without any concern.

The palm has manipulated that footage over and over again to display it repeatedly or to zoom in and stream some of it to see in detail how the escape is going.

(Probably shelling with biological explosives. Did the shells come from a thousand chopped restraints? That restraint is also a strength used to restrain physical enhancement dilators. It's not the same as eating a thousand forks. How the hell...)

For a while, the palm thought of various hypotheses as he watched the footage. When I finished wrapping it up to some extent, I switched between the displayed footage. The display device displays a map of the lower compartment. There was a red flashing dot displayed there.

(The transmitter is working properly. But the bomb that was supposed to have been implanted in the head is unexploded. The nanomachine that reached your brain dismantled the bomb? Or did you shut down the receiving function of the detonation command? I don't know. I'd like to look into it, but there's no way I'm coming back. I tried to escape. It's possible that my self remains, but I'm not going back to Cheryl's base, and the reaction is just wandering around that area...)

The palm squeaks strangely.

"Mr. Tiol. What are you doing there?

The reaction indicating Tiol's position has been showing a long way off Slam Street since yesterday.

Akira and the others made their way to the Ezont family stronghold site ready. Traces of the tragic protests of the previous day remained colorful in the yard on the property, but some changes had also taken place.

As Akira looks at the sight and wonders, she speaks out concerned about Akira's attitude, which Corbe makes strangely sharp appearances to the enemy, etc.

"Akira. What's wrong?

"No, think I don't see any remains of man-made weapons or tanks"

In the garden, human-type weapons and others operated by both the Ezont family and Harrias were fighting flashly. Even when Akira escaped, the wreckage of the destruction was scattered. I don't see that at all.

Corbe exhales lightly in relief (mostly).

"Don't threaten me. They would've brought it all up in the first place. It's gonna be money."

"Who said I brought it up, and how?

"Maybe a hunter with a buying legend or something. I guess even the heavy machine borrowed it and took it out. He rubbed it quite a bit and had a light fight. Well, after a few days (mostly) it was brought up, so it was time for the situation to settle down to the boulder. That's why I wanted to go inside, too. I'm sorry I got caught up in that deal."

While convinced by the explanation, Akira remembered an emotion similar to that of those who brought up all the wreckage that was not so easy to carry out of size and weight.

See how Ellio and the others Corbe are nervous and stab the nail.

"I'm going to search this place, but I'll say it again. Never shoot on your own. Keep your guns down. It is based on rubbing. You get it?

"Yes, sir"

"Okay. Here we go."

Akira and the others proceeded inside the base site to initiate debtor search and collection operations.

Genuine work continues. Find the bodies scattered with Akira, Corbe, and Levine with information-gathering equipment. Elio and the others check the bodies they found. If you're a debtor, pack them in a body bag and carry them. Once the body has been somewhat hoarded, go outside and hand it over to a collector waiting nearby. That repeat.

Elio and the others are accustomed to corpses, but they're not accustomed to seeing corpses in unbroken shapes. Every time a body that had been partially damaged was shot by an information terminal, the face was distorted (boiled).

"Hey Elio. Mr. Akira was here, wasn't she?

"Oh. I'm talking about getting in to help the boss. I don't know, but he's pretty flashy."

"I mean, the bodies we're looking at are mixed up with the ones that were killed by Mr. Akira, right?

"I guess so. What's wrong with that?

"... no, look, you owe me a gun from Mr. Akira, right? When you think you're borrowing a gun that makes your opponent so cruel to death, a little bit. Just have it, but be scared."

Elio and the others are lent CWH objective assault guns, DVTS miniguns, and A4WM automatic projectile guns from Akira. When only Akira is equipped with them, their presence really becomes noticeable, because it becomes impossible to pretend that there is a real mix of puppets (occasionally) among the Elios who are fake Akira.

They all weigh quite a bit, but even Elio and the others managed to carry them. That's because of the extra-assistive skeleton we're equipped with. It is difficult to carry the corpses of the orthodox and cyborgs in the living elios, so they were prepared in advance through the cuttlefish.

The auxiliary exoskeleton is treated by hunters as less than fortified clothing. Fact It is also unsuitable for quick operation and not suitable for combat. It is used to carry heavy baggage, etc., until it is full (until). Thanks to the inexpensive amount of money, we were able to get to all the Ellios.

I get a look at Elio saying I know how he feels.

"It's a gun for hunters, against monsters. I guess this is what happens when people eat it."

"As a matter of fact, I thought if I kept getting Mr. Akira's training, I'd be able to make money on the ruins of the old world someday, too. But there's a monster in the ruins that can't be killed without a gun like this, right? Honestly, I'm losing confidence."

The boy fainted and exhaled. Laughs lightly as Elio encourages.

"Wouldn't it be all right if it wasn't for a ruin of high difficulty like Mr. Akira's going to make money?

"I guess. For example?"

"I've heard that Higalaka Residential District ruins and other monsters are very lonely..."

Elio shut his mouth and the boy distorted his expression. Behind his brain he went with Akira to the ruins of the Higalaka residential district, where he remembered being attacked by a herd of monsters.

Continue as Elio tells himself.

"... no, that's an exception. Normally, that's not true. Besides, there are requests for patrols for rushing hunters and requests for general crusades. You just have to get used to it from that simple one. Awesome gear. Levine said it would have been a lot easier for people and the ruins they were struggling with when they new their gear..."

"Didn't he owe money for his equipment and ammunition?

"Uh, look, Mr. Akira or Mr. Corbe didn't seem to..."

"I remember hearing that Mr. Corbe had a hard time getting his arms eaten by a monster. You heard Mr. Akira was dying and was sent to the hospital. Whatever it was, it cost me 60 million aurum..."

A subtle silence flows through the Elios. I dream of hunters who grow up, but if I tried to refer to the hunters close to me, all the examples that I didn't want to refer to came to me, and I gasped (exhaled) as I had stated.

Next to a boy who feels depressed, Elio strengthens his mind without snagging.

"I'm not giving up. You get stronger, you make money, you rent a house or something, and you live with Alicia."

After a bitter laugh, the boy laughs joyfully with mild envy.

"Is this the strength she has? Uh, I want her too."

The Elios continued their work by blowing up the dark atmosphere with stupid stories.
