Rebuild World
215 Mixed warfare
Akira, who had fallen to the ground and had passed out, wakes up. I wake myself up in a blunt motion trying to get up and throw up blood. And I tried to stand up with my body supported by a wall nearby. But I can't stand the pain and fall. The conscious reality manipulation has already expired. The brain complains of that load with a cruel (severe) headache and warns me not to do it again. Pain in the arms and legs is also harsh. The energy in the fortified clothing had already expired due to the fact that the output had been increased without worrying about the residual amount (in order to survive).
Akira barely squeezed the remaining force and managed to take out the recovery pills. It was also taken with blood reflexes left in the mouth. I swallowed all that I had, without any concern about the negative effects of taking large doses, etc. A box of 10 million aurum of restorative medication will do the right thing for the price. The pain draws away and the consciousness becomes clearer. When I regained enough strength to move, I stood firm this time. Look around, pick up the knife and gun you were dropping and re-grasp the situation.
(... How much were you fainting? A few seconds? A few hours? Does that mean he didn't have to die, so he could take him down? I don't remember landing. Reinforced clothing and defensive coat force field armor "Forcefield Armor" expired after a collision on the ground? Well, let's just say we were lucky. You threw away my luck, too)
Akira smiles bitterly.
(There is no connection back with Alpha. With my luck, you can't expect that.)
The pain in the body has been removed but the headache remains.
(I can now intentionally change the resolution of conscious reality. It's subtle if I can do it again, but I did it again. We'll figure it out.... but the load is terrific. If you do poorly, don't die next time. I hope the healing pills are working to relieve that load, but is this headache not working? Or is it working? I don't know. Think it's better than dying for now, and take more healing pills? expensive though)
Akira carefully returns to the car. There was a stop near the building, so there was no distance. Still a hard distance to Akira right now. It's been a really long time since I've traveled through the ruins in a situation where neither Alpha's support nor fortified clothing was available, and I was moving on remembering the odd nostalgia in the tension.
Akira, who entered the car through the rear door, closes the door and exhales a great relief (mostly). I relieved the tension as I offered high gold and praised myself in the past for purchasing high performance armored tiles.
Even the communication equipment on board has not changed the state of communication interruption. Akira unfortunately sets up the car's controls so that she can drive herself to the makeshift base. Without any sudden defects, I was relieved (mostly) of the normal motion and relaxed the tension even further.
Replace the equipment energy pack and gun magazine with high-performance luxury goods that ignore expenses. The idea that I should have kept it this way from the beginning overtook my mind. At the same time, however, I laughed bitterly at the answer that the risk of falling into a deficit fall at the expense of consumables would dramatically increase so I could not choose that choice. Akira had a long time to taste the commonplace hunter's common concern of adjusting necessary expenses and hazards.
After re-checking your gear and taking plenty of additional restorative medication to regain your posture to a combatable condition for now, lean straight against the wall in the car and rest. Looking at the information on the on-board enemy equipment in conjunction with the information-gathering equipment as it was, the self-driving car slowed down and asked Akira for instructions.
Akira blushes. The display device worn on the head clearly showed the reason for the request for instructions. The path to the rear liaison line, which is making it a route of movement, had been filled with numerous reactions considered to be large-scale combat.
"What's going on? Another monster raid? Give me a break..."
Do you avoid combat and change your path? Or do you mind if I proceed? The car stopped when Akira got lost and didn't give instructions. It followed the rule that the automated operating system would not inadvertently enter the battle zone during automated operation.
Akira chose to wait after worrying. I want to avoid a series of fights without fully recovering from the load caused by the battle with Zalmo. To get back to the makeshift base without using a rear line of communication, you have to bypass a path that cannot be crossed by a large vehicle, but it takes a lot of time. I was able to get to the back of the ruins in a large vehicle thanks to the paved rear contact line. I'm stuck on a narrow road, and I can't even see it when things happen that I encounter with a bunch of monsters. I'm in a big vehicle now, so I'm protected by a strong defense. There are no monster reactions around. It is also possible that communications will recover over time. It was the result of thinking Akira for those reasons.
The anxiety that I might have made the worst choice was certainly also in Akira. But every choice has the worst chance. Then restore your combat abilities as much as possible, and at their worst, fight them. Akira was so prepared to go into a break and lay down in a prepared simple bed.
The control device of the car, which was in standby, detects an enemy attack and automatically sets off rapidly. Akira is dropped out of bed because of her inertia. Immediately vomit stupidity as he prepares to respond.
"Come on, motherfucker!
Whatever the choice, Akira's break would have been a little longer if she had chosen it promptly. In that sense, Akira's choice sucked.
The car's controller calculates the enemy's attack direction from the position of the damaged armoured tile to a large number (oops) and moves the car to escape the attack. The attack had been sporadic from the direction of what appeared to be a combat zone.
As Akira turned her attention in that direction, a hunter-style boy was running away. Akira-like speed running in fortified clothes.
(You've been running away from that one? Is the attack a stray bullet from a monster aimed at him?
Akira turns the car's machine gun to the boy's rear, thinking about covering him for now and listening to him. Then, in an attempt to target him, he distorted his expression with surprise and confusion. It was several combat vehicles that were chasing the boy, obviously another hunters.
While Akira is devising a response, the boy tries to escape the hunters' attack by hiding behind Akira's car as it chases him. The hunters' attack focuses on Akira's car because of the act. Thanks to the expensive armoured tiles, there is no damage to the body itself, but it will soon be damaged as it is.
Akira roughs up her voice trying to question the boy when she opens the door to the car while she has a bad feeling.
"Hey! What the hell..."
The boy pointed a gun at Akira and came to kill him without hesitation. But Akira also reacted fine with vigilance following a bad feeling. Bullets fly inside and outside the car while driving.
Shooting at close range ended intact to each other, both with an emphasis on their own safety. The boy jumps up quickly and climbs to the roof of the car, and Akira hides herself behind the door.
When Akira turns her gaze to the ceiling with a harsh face, she returns a shout that seems both irritating and joyous.
"You were there too! I don't think it's a pain in the ass! Now I win! I'll kill you with me!
Akira, who had heard similar things, expressed her inner face with a suspicious and unpleasant distortion.
"Has anyone come back from the afterlife again!? Who is it? I'm guessing you're not going to mention Sebra or anything!
"Who is that? That's him! I'm Tiol!
"You know what! Who!"
Tiol's face is hatefully distorted.
"You don't know!? Oh well! I don't know what the wooden end is! I guess!
Akira was more irritated than confused by Tiol's screaming, which seemed upside down somewhere.
Countless grenades (rifles) land in and around the car and explode. Tiol, who stood on the roof of the car, was also swallowed up by the explosion, but was defending himself with something like a defensive coat and subdued to minor damage. That Tiol outfit was very similar to Akira's when she was fighting Tiol, who became a giant.
When Tiol pounds his tongue and jumps out of the car, he declares with his face to Akira as he walks with him.
"I'll put you behind me. But I'm gonna kill you! Neither is he, nor you!
Tiol said so, after shooting the hunters who had followed him in a motion that was like covering Akira's car, he left the scene with high physical ability by the time he was unusual.
Akira was slightly distracted by the unforeseen events that followed, but returned to me with a shaky body due to the Hunters' attack.
"That bastard! You pushed me!
The intensity of the hunters' attacks showed that they definitely misunderstood Akira as one of Tiol's people. Communication remains out of range even if we want to explain the circumstances.
I very much don't think I need to refrain from attacking. Even in the event of this communication failure, short distance communication is killed before it reaches a distance that is connected or, if it is loud, communicated. When Akira judged that, she had no choice but to respond. Switch the car to semi-automatic manoeuvre and have the vehicle fired with a machine gun. Plus, I get myself out of the car and shoot myself. And anyway, I accelerated the car to get a distance from the other guy.
On-board equipped, large-calibre machine guns fire countless bullets. Guided full-armour grenades (Ryu) are also released from the SSB compound gun one after the other. They landed in front of the hunters to blunt their movement. The barrage, which is for traction purposes, but lacks a significant willingness to care for the lives of its opponents, was sufficient to dull the movements of the hunters who have been following it well. Hunters' vehicles move their movements from tracking to defensive action to barrage, loosening their willingness to approach for as long as possible.
Akira distanced herself from the hunters by abusive driving in the gap. Run the car at maximum acceleration to earn distance at once. He then returned himself to the vehicle at a time when he had earned a distance from each other that he could not shoot at, exhaling a loud hourglass.
"Absolutely, what's going on?
No one answered Akira's question with her head.
The leaders of the hunters who were chasing Tiol have a harsh look on their face.
"Damn! They got away! You had other people!
The young hunter of the leader renews his determination.
"I won't let anyone anywhere and for whatever purpose get in the way! This massive ruin exploration will be an absolute success! Absolutely! This is Katsuya! Report the damage! No matter who you find, don't trust anyone but us until the comms are restored! They're gonna attack us again!
It was the Katsuya and the others' team that were chasing Tiol.
Akira kept moving through the ruins without being able to grasp the situation. The situation continues to deteriorate. The belligerent reaction captured with enemy equipment has already spread around the area. He also caught several man-made weapons and mechanical monsters engaged over the sky. On the ground, he also encountered several large monsters, crushing them with on-board machine guns to escape difficulties.
The city's man-made weapons unit will be safe in this massive ruin search. Akira also knew that the original plan was already broken by the boulders. But I couldn't decide how best to move in that situation.
Akira groans with a bitter smile.
"As a result of the twitching that I've been relying on Alpha for so long."
Akira was hesitant to find other hunters to rendezvous. Whatever the reason, it's already been attacked many times. The hunter-to-hunter chain of command is also collapsing. I even tried to hide myself there once because I found an underground parking lot, but the hunters who were forming there earlier attacked me unquestionably and drove me back. I tried the conversation once because it was the distance the short distance communication arrived, but I was only returned with a voice close to half frenzy the words of the vocabulary: stay away. As long as I don't even know you, it's a suspicious situation for you to trust me to be on your side.
(Such as that tiol, he probably imitated (well) making hunters shoot each other. Is there another one like that? Is that the same with that Zalmo guy? Are you one of them? I don't know.)
As Akira was moving forward with her head in her arms, a destroyed people-type weapon was blocking the way forward. He only has an upper body and has one arm removed. The other parts were also cruelly damaged overall.
If you increase the output of the fortified clothes, you will manage to retract them. Akira thought so, stopping the car and approaching the wreckage of the aircraft. Then Akira's lending terminal took the liberty of connecting short-range communications.
"Long time no see. Looks like Akira and I are connected to seeing each other here after all. That was just fine. Can you give me a hand with that?
"... who?
"It's me. Nelia."
Akira rushes to look around.
"Where are you?
"There must be a half-broken fuselage rolling around nearby, right? In it. I need you to let me out because I can't get out on my own."
Akira got a little lost, but when she approached the fuselage carefully, she hung her hand on the door that distorted the entrance and exit portions. And at the same time as opening up vigorously with the physical ability of the fortified clothes, he poked a gun inside.
Akira with a surprised look and Nelia's eyes grinning with pleasure. Nelia, like the fuselage, had a lower body, and one arm had been crushed and lost by a deformed fuselage.
"It's a reunion at the corner (because of it), but it's quite a response."
"The other guy is the other guy, and the situation is the one."
"Really? Fair enough. Can you get me to a makeshift base for now?
Akira keeps poking her gun in silence with a serious face. Then Nelia gives a slightly unexpected look.
"Oh, did you wake up to a hobby that made a woman immobile?
Exhales like Akira was drained of poison. And I put the gun down. Nelia's attitude is not because she thinks she won't shoot. Akira knew that, too. The other person is undoubtedly a madman, whose madness assures him that he is not an enemy. To that strange sensation Akira knew the breadth of the world.
"Confirm once. I'm on your side now. That's a good idea, isn't it?
"If that's what Akira thinks."
"Okay. When you turn to your enemies, give us a shout before you do."
"Okay. Speak up, Akira."
Akira grabs (or pulls) Nelia's remaining arm and tries to pull it outside. However, it was hooked because of the wiring that was stretched from the arm of the person crushed by the fuselage. Akira strengthened her pulling power and forced (do) the wiring to pull Nelia out.
I laugh as Nelia grabs one arm from Akira and hangs.
"That's abusive. You don't like handling women's bodies? Some people would say that a slightly more forceful way of handling it. Is Akira's taste that way?
"You know what!
That's all Akira throws up and takes Nelia back to the car. Then he put Nelia in the passenger seat, moved the car vigorously so as to hit (bu) the caustic (needy) chi, hit (bu) the body on the wreckage of the human weapon, and forcefully retreated (du) and broke through.
"Driving, you're bad. Shall I take your place?
"How are you going to drive?
"This type of vehicle would have terminals for connecting to the control device, right? Then just connect it. It's a bad idea to sit in silence just because you can't fight straight in this body."
Akira got a little lost but pulled the terminal out of the car. And Nelia taught me to connect to Nelia's neck. A car moves out in Nelia's driving a little while. Now we don't even have to drive the car while Akira fights.
Akira and the others try to understand the situation by exchanging information with each other as it is. Akira distorts her face when Nelia asks about the status of the human weapon unit.
"Wait. Is it true that a unit of man-made weapons has been defeated? Is that all the awesome fuselage Nelia was on before? That's dozens of planes..."
Nelia was the pilot of the fuselage that was slashed by Tsubaki. It was loaned to the human weapons unit (to promote the new aircraft).
"If the commander wasn't so stupid, he would have retreated. The ranged attack didn't work, so I set it up with a melee specific aircraft, and they gave me a little payback. No wins at close or far distances. I don't think there was anything to overshadow that situation after that. If I had any means, I would have used it."
"So that camouflage mechanical monster..."
"I think he's wandering around there now because the troops that were stopping him are gone. In the first place, that automatic doll didn't stop you completely from doing it."
Hope disappeared that the situation might improve in the interim. If there are still more mechanical monsters coming from the other side of the rift, the situation just keeps getting worse.
However, Akira's stray disappeared completely after this option of staying here in anticipation of an improvement in the situation over time. Akira exhaled heavily and tightened her face.
"All right, I can't help but retreat through the rear line to the makeshift base. There was also a massive battle reaction on the road to the rear line of contact, but it would be better than staying here."
"I'm on my way."
"... right"
Akira didn't go deep because it turned out to be good, even though she remembered something that didn't make sense that she was being decided where to go on her own.
"Nevertheless, as far as Akira's story goes, control on the hunter side also collapses? And whatever caused it, what is an incredible situation except someone I know. It's a hassle. We were lucky to meet in that situation."
"At a time like this, my luck is on the verge of getting to the bottom of it."
"It's been a lot of hard time again."
Capture the reaction of onboard enemy equipment approaching at high speed. When Akira realized it, she moved to the rear of the vehicle and opened the door to intercept the enemy. Position the gun assuming the general position from the position of the enemy reaction. Then a man-made weapon flying through space emerged from the shadow of a long-distance building.
"Nelia. That fuselage is your pick up or something?
"Enemy! Shoot me down!"
At the same time as Nelia's reply, an enemy aircraft sets up a gun.
"Grab it! They'll shake you down!
Turn the path into a side road as Nelia rocks the body wide. The abusive operation was also to remove the vehicle body from the enemy's rays. But completely inevitable, a bullet shot out of a giant gun erected by a man-made weapon crashed into the roof and sides of the vehicle's body.
Expensive armored tiles protect the body from the impact of the landing, and they peel off after demonstrating their value. Still, the impact cannot be completely erased, shaking so loud that the body could fall. It was thanks to Nelia's high driving skills that she still managed to maintain the car's posture without falling over.
Akira was reflexively holding onto the body with one hand, firing a SSB compound gun in a row while maintaining her posture. Targeting was pretty crazy because of the big, swinging body. However, expensive guided armored grenades bend ballistics like arcs, landing one enemy weapon after another. The appearance of the enemy aircraft was engulfed in flames.
Akira confirms the enemy's reaction in the car that escaped the enemy's rays. The motion of the reaction had shown that the enemy was alive and well.
"Nelia, let me ask you something. Don't you remember that aircraft attacking you?
"I don't. And Akira?"
"Neither do I.... How did you know they were enemies right away?
"What are you talking about? If you look at the motion of the reaction, you know it's not a friendly approach, right?
Akira didn't get it. But if you don't know, and you're honest with me and I don't know, Nelia sees that silence as suspicious, she puts in a supplement to her dissatisfaction.
"Well, it was possible that they were just on guard over here, too. But it would be too dangerous to get close to the distance where we can receive the identification code for the fuselage in the current state of communication. If you're not the enemy, that's how you understand it. You didn't make hostile proximity on top of that, so even if you weren't an enemy, you could be an enemy. It's somewhat of a consequence theory, and I don't deny that I skipped a little means of identifying enemy allies, but if I tolerated the risk of him being killed by surprise, did I have to make sure?
"No, I'm fine. He was definitely an enemy."
"Isn't it?
Nelia also got back in the mood when Akira concurred with the deception.
"But suppose neither I nor Nelia have any idea, the one in the unit of man-made weapons is losing all his allies and going semi-frequent, and he's attacking you depending on allowances or whatever?
"For that matter, the movement was clearly aimed at us..."
At that time, short-range communications reached Akira's car. An earlier fuselage unilaterally flew up the output of short-range communications to the limit.
"Akira! I'm not letting you get away with this! You kill here! Sure!
Akira looks very disgusted with her expression. Nelia laughs somewhere fun.
"Looks like Akira to me. You sure you don't have any idea?
"... if you judge by your voice, it's the one called Zalmo"
"Yes. So what's your relationship with him? You seem overwhelmed, but did you take it from your lover again, like you did before?
To Nelia's joke, Akira answers with a serious voice over communication as she goes up from the rear door to the roof of the car.
"It's one of the robbers who attacked a store I know. I definitely killed him then...... should have. I blew my head off. I also saw my brain splashed. But he wasn't dead... Apparently. Unless someone else cheated on him."
Returns a voice that Nelia seems intrigued by.
"That's a pretty funny story. If you're not lying, have you come back to life or are you a ghost? There are suspicions of inviting ghosts around here, and it may come as no surprise that the dead are wandering around the ruins."
"Isn't an inviting ghost like the old world's managerial personality? The one who runs the building and stuff. I saw that in a place called Serantalville on the ruins of Mihazono Street."
"There are theories about who the inviting ghost is. Well, aside from that, with medical technology in the old world, it's probably not too late for a brain injury."
"... no, that would be impossible for a boulder, wouldn't it? It's lame."
"It's the old world that could make that lame mess happen, right? Akira's a hunter, too, so you'd better remember that, as far as the old world is concerned, it's impossible, for Christ's sake, that's impossible, right?
Akira laughed bitterly at the fact that common sense still remained colorful in her as she experienced so many things out of common sense before. Whether you're wearing fortified clothing that gives you unlikely physical abilities, an SSB compound gun that spits out unlikely bullets in your hands, or spending your days with an unlikely being called Alpha, I thought it a little funny that the stereotype of common sense wouldn't break so easily.
"Up! Coming!"
Akira pulls the trigger with her two-handed SSB compound gun pointing overhead. A pair of (anti-) force field-armed "Force Field Armor" bullets and a guided rear-armor grenade (Ryudan) are shot out of the two (today) SSB compound guns at the fastest set firing speed. With the momentum to immediately empty the expansion magazine of the number of rounds loaded up to the anomaly, the barrage rushes up to space.
In Akira's distance (Haku) or overhead, a human weapon stood against Akira under his eyes at an altitude that did not allow him to lose sight of the giant. And like Akira's expanded magazine, he shot a large number of bullets out of a large gun for man-made weapons in a series commensurate with its caliber, wondering where he held all that amount.
Running bullets and running bullets intersect in the air. Barrages collide with each other causing countless explosions. A bullet pouring down the ground puts a big hole in the road surface. The bullet that struck Akira's car rocks the body wide and strips away the armored tile. A grenade rushing up into space hits the side of the surrounding building and explodes. The bullet that hits the fuselage scatters the impact transforming light of Force Field Armor.
The shootout, which took place at a significant physical difference, caused a great deal of damage to the surroundings due to the fact that they both created an unthinkable barrage from their physique.
