Rebuild World

228 Akira and Hikaru

Akira had summoned Kibayashi to a restaurant on the first floor of Kugama Building, some time after a massive ruin hunt. Kibayashi laughs fun with the menu in one hand.

"You called it in. You have the money, don't you?

"Oh."

"That's good. How about turning the place into a more upstairs store?

"I don't have that kind of money. It's pretty expensive here, too."

Kibayashi smiles bitterly at Akira, who shows her dissatisfaction with her face.

"I don't think that's Hunter's word for Hunter Rank 50. They'll entertain you, they'll entertain you, there's a store that's ranked for you."

A large number of hunters fought hard in the noise of large-scale site exploration, but few (or none) received a reward commensurate with the death fight for money. Because most of them had contracts to calculate rewards from the artifacts they had acquired. Even pure combat personnel were contracted to calculate from the total amount of artifacts collected from the controlled area, etc., rather than from the amount of monsters defeated during the repression. In that calculation format, there are no rewards.

However, even on the urban side, there was no reason to shield the contents of the contract from remuneration. But it was also difficult to pay for each other's strikes between hunters, and there was no money on the city side either in the first place. Even if the city's man-made weapon unit is destroyed, it's also causing misdigit damage. Many people and companies have invested huge sums in large-scale site exploration. And with the exception of a deal with Tsubaki by Yanagi Sawa, the site search is a huge failure. Many people were unable to recover their investment because of this, and the response was also followed in a situation where the urban economy could be shaken if they did poorly.

To manage the situation, the city concentrated its rewards for the hunters on increasing the hunter rank. Usually, we narrowed the rewards paid at Hunter Rank to Hunter Rank only. And loans were made to hunters in financial difficulty based on their post-ascent ranks. The money comes from investments from other cities and companies. The Kugamayama city is in financial difficulty in the short run, but with huge profits to be expected in the long run, enough money was collected to that extent.

Hunters who became indebted for treatments, equipment repairs, etc. were also very thankful for sufficient increases in hunter rank and loans at low interest rates. That was enough to contain dissatisfaction with the city.

This had raised Akira's Hunter Rank all at once. It was significant that the hunter's troops were almost destroyed by themselves, as well as that the manipulators destroyed a man-made weapon that appeared to be a Foundationalist. It would also have been reasonable to calculate a financial reward for an equivalent request to compensate for it only with a Hunter Rank increase.

And if you think of it as the words and deeds of hunters with all those arms and making all that money, Akira's response was certainly subtle.

"If you're going to turn the store into Stéliana, I'll give Kibayashi the luxury. If you don't want me to go ahead and entertain you, then tell me."

"You're tough. Still, I'm the great guy there, right?

"Why is such a great guy doing regular patrol drivers in the wilderness?"

"Hobbies."

"Oh, yeah."

To Kibayashi, who said it all with a good smile, Akira showed him a light daze.

Kibayashi prompts the point around the end of the order and the dishes are ready (about).

"So, what are we talking about today? I don't know what to call it. That's quite a story, isn't it?

"I want to hear more about the equipment procurement I asked for before. It's been over six months. Let me know if it's a hassle, if it's progress, how long it's going to take."

"Oh, that one? Not yet. It's also a little hard to answer specific time periods"

"Uh."

Kibayashi also objected to Akira's appearance of obvious dissatisfaction with her face a little.

"I'm telling you, it's also your fault for procuring late, right?

"Why are you doing this to me?"

"Because you've been screwing in Inabe's legend along the way. So the negotiations that were going on by that point returned to blank paper. In addition, when I asked you again about the equipment request by changing the prerequisites, you would have said that you wanted the improvement of performance to take precedence over the shorter procurement period in the way Inabe used it. Naturally, the more high-performance equipment you have, the more equipment you need. In other words, the closer you get to the eastern edge, the more powerful your gear becomes. It's really hard to go through procurement negotiations with people on your side, huh?

When Kibayashi complained about the difficulty without seeping strongly into his attitude, Akira was also slightly deflected.

"Oh well."

"Besides, Inabe is in a good position with that monumental entanglement right. A lot of people want to tell Inabe about this and Yanagi Sawa through it. That adjustment is tough too. Bundle and swap conveyances that are not directly involved in the procurement of gear, put conditions in place to attract more high-performance gear, and the other side interrupts the negotiations that are going on over there, and rushes, directs, and works hard?

"Oh, really?"

"Even if we get the stuff itself, now we have transport problems. I've asked many times to carry it to this point because I want you to carry it along with me. There's a lot to be done to check that distribution network, coordinate transportation routes, negotiate and do."

"Oh, yeah. Okay."

Akira was being pushed away by Kibayashi's temperamental caged and folding explanation. But I think there.

"If it's just transportation, why don't I pay extra for transportation and have it carried individually, just for that matter?

"But in that case, have at least a billion aurums, right?

"Damn, it takes that long!?

Kibayashi shows a light daze to Akira, who is surprised by the unexpected high price.

"You know, all the monsters near the front line are powerful things like being designated as immediate prize necks if you're around here. You hire the hunters working in that area to escort you here just to carry your gear? It's going to be expensive. Companies that undertake inter-city transport already use a variety of means to keep their costs down. Don't develop safe transport routes in the long run, transport large quantities of supplies at once, or sign long-term contracts with the hunters. Transport it just for you this time, and the cost will jump."

Akira exhaled convincingly when she was told she was right.

"... well. That's true. I was a little mistaken because someone I knew told me they brought the goods from the front line."

"Well, there is a difference in the degree of danger when it comes to the front line. Many exaggerate their stories. You can't believe it without concrete evidence. You'll never know if you don't go on the ground, or if you actually saw what you brought."

"Oh, I don't know what we're talking about, but I saw things. Ragnarock is a gun. I think it's real because I saw it with Elena and the others."

Kibayashi laughs with pleasure as he shows light sensitivity and interest.

"Heh. Then I'm pretty sure you were involved in a transport route that lasted at least as far as the front line. What happened to him? The result of such a big bet is a big win or a big loss. Which one?"

The story of grabbing glory at the end of recklessness, and vice versa, are both Kibayashi's favorites. It showed high interest. But Akira thinks a little before answering.

"... no, isn't it neither? He's been in business ever since."

"Oh, that's an unexpected result. Rare. Heh.... Why don't you introduce me to him for a second? What, if you give me your contact details, that's fine. I'm not gonna let you take time in the presence of an intermediary."

"Good, but not a hunter, huh?

"If you're a reckless performer, you don't care what your profession is."

"Oh, yeah."

Kibayashi returns to the conversation when he asks for the contact details of the cuttlefish from Akira, who is a little dumb.

"That's why procuring equipment takes time. Well, let me add a little bit, because it's nothing to make you talk about why it takes so long. The transporter is unexpectedly sober, and as long as we have secured the item, it could arrive pretty light. It's time for a big distribution, and this time Kugamayama City is added to the distribution network."

Tongyi Union regularly implements large-scale distribution support known as large-scale distribution. Throw huge sums of money to encourage distribution across the East, scratch and mix people, things, and gold in the East to revitalize the Eastern economy.

Inter-urban travel, which normally entails considerable costs, is also cheaper and in some cases free in times of major distribution, thanks to the support of the Unified Enterprise. This is also to stimulate those who are on both sides of the road because of the cost of mobility, and to efficiently gather people in areas where people are looking for them and push for development in the east.

There's also a reason it's dark back there. Cities with too many people in Slam Street that exceed their allowable capacity are also utilized to drive residents to other cities in Slam Street.

After stopping the bona fide food distribution to Slam Street, spreading rumors (rumours) that other cities are so luxurious that they have too many rations, those without money or power will not cross the wilderness on their own for rumoured cities. Except with free transportation. Instead of staying here and starving to death, he moves relatively aggressively. It is acquiesced that cities are relatively more ethical means than using guns to physically reduce the danger of people's saturation (in order to) adequately reduce the number of slum dwellers.

At the same time, this is combined with the purpose of getting hunters who have lost their jobs due to the development of their areas of activity to move to places where they have jobs before they change to robbers because they are in trouble with money. Because the beds of hunters without money are mostly slum streets.

In addition, the construction of new pioneering cities and the construction of strategic front-line bases for large ruins located far from the city will mostly be planned in line with this great circulation. Because we need to transport large quantities of supplies.

For a variety of reasons, a large number of transport vehicles run around the wilderness during the period of great distribution. Naturally it stimulates the surrounding monsters so much that it induces a massive raid, but the Tongyi Union destroys this with force that made them say things to gold. This is an exaggeration of the power of the Unified Enterprise Union and, at the same time, the intermission of monsters throughout the east. With this massive hiatus, we are developing transport routes, the arteries of the eastern economy.

Akira somehow tried to remember when the previous grand circulation was. But there were days in Slam Street where I didn't even know today's date, and I wasn't sure.

"Big distribution? I feel like it's been a long time."

"The Great Distribution itself is held annually, but the participation of Kugamayama cities has been a long time. Although recommended, the participation of each city is optional. Although there is support from the Unified Enterprise, there is also a heavy burden on the urban side, and there are circumstances in each city. We don't know about that neighborhood. Turn him down. Well, it's easy to see why Kugamayama City joined us this time."

"What reason is that?

After a slightly unexpected look, Kibayashi turned a bitter smile to those who were also parties to the reason.

Hunter's, it's a replenishment.

There are quite a few ruins around the city of Kugamayama, and their difficulty is wide. From low-difficulty ruins that can be managed by rushing hunters to high-difficulty ruins that skilled hunters are well prepared to challenge.

In addition, regular patrols conducted by the city are suitable for rushing hunters to acquire equipment and strength before heading to the ruins in earnest. Even those under the rush earn a minimum amount of money, so it is also anti-slip to stop them from giving up hunter operations and transferring to robbery.

Neither the disturbed hunter's detachment party, large and small, nor the team, has reduced the number of reckless people who jump into the ruins by themselves and die. There are many problems, but also many advantages.

Due to those factors, the Kugamayama city maintains an environment where hunters are relatively susceptible to growth. Thanks to this, it is also easy to gather hunter aspirants from surrounding cities. From rushing out to gaining strength appropriately, many people stay long term until they move their place of activity more east in search of further results.

The city of Kugamayama was known against these backgrounds as a city with a large number of hunters for the region's medium-sized governing companies. But it had already collapsed.

"There's a lot going on and it's gone down. Even with the ruins involved, there has been a big noise three times just related to the ruins of Kuzsuhara Street, one time at the ruins of Mihazono Street, and a total of four times, and a lot of people are dead. Even the fighting noise in Slam Street is quite dead. In addition, some of them died normally from normal hunter operations. Death is an accessory to hunter operations, so it's just a little bit of a death to a boulder. So I guess it would have been creepy if we hadn't joined the big distribution and replenished the hunters extensively from all over."

"... so much less?

"I'm down. Oh well, are you basically thin because you work alone? Well, sure, some of you wouldn't think it was that much less if you put it in that number, like, what percent of the total died, but it was a lot less physically. I guess the ones whose buddies are dead and have broken their willingness to continue hunters, or have temporarily refrained from (bulky) activities, have also come out quite a bit. The amount of artifacts brought to the store, participants in regular patrols, and so on were temporarily reduced to a little creepy (first). Whoa, this is a secret? Because it's inside information."

"Oh, oh."

"After Yanagi Sawa widely recruited hunters to use the deal with the managerial personality of the site as a promotional material, it would have been pretty bad without that one. The city of Kugamayama would have been in another long period of stagnation."

Kibayashi was done with bitter laughter like a joke, but it was true that the economy of the Kugamayama city was actually quite dangerous. That is why the authority of the Janagi Sawa, which solved it, was very much increased.

It looks like Kibayashi was slightly surprised there.

"I was just wondering, you're in all the noise I just said, aren't you?

Akira looks away somehow.

"... I started hunter operations just around the corner."

"That's all the noise I got involved in and I survived. So it's going to be. My eyes were right."

Kibayashi was laughing with pleasure, but Akira was laughing bitterly. Even though I didn't think those noises were my fault, I kept my face a little stiff.

Kibayashi asks about Akira's future as she continues to chat temporarily afterwards.

"Speaking of which, you're now at Hunter Rank 50 too, and you're considering moving to another city?

"No, I don't plan on doing that."

"That was good. It means you can enjoy your impotent recklessness up close."

Akira looks at me strangely.

"What does Hunter Rank have to do with migration?

"Well, just a little guide. Hunters in Kugamayama cities start considering moving to more eastern cities from roughly rank 40. And at about rank 50 or so, most (mostly) of them leave Kugamayama City. The Hunter Rank you can earn in Kugamayama City is capped at 50. That's the kind of awareness that's spreading."

"Is there such a cap? I didn't know."

Seeing Akira with an unexpected look on her face, Kibayashi puts in a supplement.

"I'm telling you not to get me wrong, but I'm not imposing restrictions on the hunter's office side. It's simply a matter of environment, efficiency, demand and supply. There are few (mostly) hunters with a rank of 50 or higher around here, so of course there are no stores for such hunters at all. It's hard to find a comparable companion. Procurement of equipment can also be laborious. There are few (mostly) relics around that match Hunter's prowess. Because of this, it is very inefficient to try to stay and increase the rank. So for the hunters who want to get ahead of Rank 51, Kugamayama City is up to Rank 50."

Akira was listening with an intriguing face. And once you look convinced, then you look a little surprised.

"Heh. Hmm? But the part where there are no matching ruins should be earned in the deeper part of Kuzhara Street ruins?

Kibayashi laughs joyfully at Akira's simple question.

If that's what you're saying, I want you to try that impotent recklessness.

Akira dislikes to distort her face.

"... is it that hard?

"We're at the end of a rear line where the city is throwing huge amounts of money and extending it, right? Deploying a large number of man-made weapons in defense is further ahead of the danger zone where you can only earn a little distance. You're just going to die at about rank 50. Unless you're a bunch of people who run human weapons individually, like rank 60 or 70, there's no facility around here that can adequately equip them. Except for the city's amenities, which are all over the maintenance of the defense force. I can't afford to open up to the hunters in those hands. So I can't. Oh, let me tell you something, don't think of that one the same way because human weapons were used in previous slum city wars, huh? I can't tell you that as a hunter, he operates a human weapon in all respects."

"I see. You know what?"

Akira was also firmly convinced. On the contrary, however, Kibayashi continues with a slightly contemplative attitude.

"... just well, maybe that situation will change in the future. Yanagi Sawa has resumed the extension of the rear contact line, but at the same time is trying to call in a high-ranking hunter of his hand to attack the back of the site (for). We are also working on putting in a huge amount of money to help set up a facility for hunters in that hand. So these days, a lot of hunters have been coming back once they moved more east. Haven't you seen Akira with those hands, too?

"... Speaking of which, you saw someone walking around dressed like a feather on a swimsuit. Was that it?

"That fashion sense, you're definitely a hunter on the east end. Akira, let me tell you something, be careful, okay? As I said before, the city's participation in the Great Distribution is bringing together hunters from all over the country. Many of them, including the one in that outfit, would be pulling (not) the feeling of where they were before. He may have a seemingly weak attitude because the one who lets him beat up tanks with his life was weak by the standards of the previous place. If you sell or buy a fight against the people in your hand, you will die."

"Okay. Be careful."

I felt the danger from Kibayashi's attitude, which I seriously advised, and Akira answered with a tight eye.

The next day, now Akira was summoned to Kibayashi. Waiting for Kibayashi in the lobby on the ground floor of Kugama Building, the meeting point, before the meeting time, a girl appears from the inside direction of the fence.

Makes me look a little strange when I see the girl Akira approached. The girl was wearing a city clerk's uniform and looked a little grown-up. Looks like Akira and I have been growing taller and feeling better lately for the same generation. I'm not a little old enough to call myself an adult, but I'm mature enough to call myself a child. Around that age. I mean, basically, I didn't think he was supposed to be an urban worker with only adults.

I bow my head lovingly to Akira looking a little nervous.

"You're Mr. Akira. I'm from the same department as Kibayashi and I'm called Hikaru. Thank you for your patience today."

"Oh, yes. Um, what about Kibayashi?

"I will be in charge of Mr. Akira today. Now let's move the place forward for more details."

"Uh, hey, wait a minute"

Akira took out the information terminal and put in contact with Kibayashi.

"It's me. Hey, what's up?

"What's wrong, no. Where are you now? If you can do it urgently and have someone replace you, just let me know."

Akira explains the situation to Kibayashi. I meant to complain naturally, but Kibayashi's reply was very different from Akira's expectations.

"A man in a city uniform came and gave me my name at the meeting place and time. Let me tell you, it was a good deal to get in touch with me without keeping my mouth shut."

"What do you mean?

"Maybe someone was trying to trick you, right?

When Akira accidentally turned her alert gaze to Hikaru, Hikaru shook her body slightly without knowing what it meant.

"Whoa, don't get me wrong, okay? I'm just saying it might be. That Hikaru is definitely someone I know. I guarantee you that much. And other than that, no matter what the facts, I won't guarantee anything."

Akira turns her expression into something even more surprising.

"So what do you mean? If you don't explain it properly, we're leaving?

"There's that too. There are no trusted negotiators in the negotiating arena and there is no detailed explanation. So if I don't talk to you, I'll kick your ass. I'm not wrong. If it's always right, it's not the same."

When Akira exhales lightly, Kibayashi returns a pleasant voice, who sees how it is.

"As I said before, hunters are good at rough things, but bad at negotiating things. Practice negotiating a little with him. Again, the only guarantee I have is that he's someone I know. Find out for yourself who he is, where he stands, what he thinks, whether he's competent or incompetent, whether he can be trusted or trusted. Of course (of course), you can check with me later, but do it yourself first. Bye."

After the call runs out, Alpha laughs at Akira, who is showing mild confusion.

"So, what do you do? Go home? '

"... well, this means practice, too, so I'll ask you about it."

Akira returns her gaze to Hikaru. There was no will to be vigilant, but Hikaru was not in a hurry to smile.

Akira and the others moved the place to a restaurant on the ground floor. Hikaru sitting across from Akira carefully bows his head.

"I recognized that we had already spoken from Kibayashi, but if this is a mistake, I apologize."

"Oh, no, well, I certainly didn't hear that, but I don't think it was Hikaru's fault"

"Thank you. I'll sit down. And you can have a hical about me. Talk normally if you can. Trust is important to negotiating matters. Being politely constrained (obsessed) neglects (or neglects) communication of will, and creates distrust and dissatisfaction, it is the end of the line. So I don't feel comfortable talking to you.... Well, I think Kibayashi's attitude goes a little too far."

Akira also smiles lightly back at Hikaru's bitter smile.

"Okay. Then talk to me normally because you're good with Akira too."

Hikaru gets lightly lost on the surface, then gets pretty lost on the inside, then rides it.

"Okay. Well, normally then. You don't seem to be listening to me from Kibayashi, so, uh, where do we start?"

Hikaru was seriously exploring if Akira's mood had been compromised, laughing with familiarity and speaking in a shattered tone.

"Well, can I ask you something dirty?

"Fine. Ask me anything. I don't care if they ask me if I have a girlfriend or a three size, I'll tell them to keep it to myself."

"Oh, that's not it. Right. Is Hikaru really an official of the city?

"Oh, unexpected question. Of course. I'm definitely an employee of Kugamayama City. I'm with the Regional Management Department, and I'm the youngest there."

"What evidence do you belong to? What if I heard?

Hikaru smiles like he's in a bit of trouble. But behind it, he was desperately searching for ways to deal with it.

Akira sees Hikaru as a practicing opponent for the negotiations prepared by Kibayashi. I'm asking a lot of rude questions, too, because of that practice. But Hikaru had no idea of the circumstances. For this reason, it was perceived as suspected or tested.

"An introduction to Kibayashi isn't enough grounds?

"I told you to make sure for yourself that Kibayashi won't guarantee anything but that I know him."

Hikaru accidentally makes his smile a little stiff and poisons him with his heart.

(That bastard......, you mean this is an exam too? You're gonna do it)

Negotiate with Akira to make her take on the request and complete it exactly. That's Hikaru's job this time, a test that will make Kibayashi recognize his strength.

Negotiating with high-ranking hunters is also a very important task for city officials. Both securing valuable artifacts and defending the perimeter of the city sway greatly depending on negotiations with its hunters. Naturally, with the trust of those people, the power of negotiators to smoothly carry the negotiations will also increase.

Kibayashi offered the hunters he had found out for himself a wager to rise to and strengthen his position with the winner. Most (mostly) of those who have grown brilliant have left Kugamayama City to move the venue of their activities more east, but they still have a strong influence on the city by sending valuable artifacts from afar and by signing rushing contracts in urban crises. Kibayashi can move quite freely because he keeps the others quiet by telling (once) his hunters.

But Kibayashi is also busy with a lot of things, and it doesn't involve negotiating with all of its hunters. Hence, people and colleagues are often asked to replace the negotiations. And whoever takes his place gets the same power by communicating with the hunter in charge.

Hikaru was recognized as a young but talented woman in the Wide Area Management Department, and she was so proud of herself. And I suggested to Kibayashi that he would have no problem with it. But Kibayashi's reaction was a disgusting one not to mention that you couldn't do it.

It is proof of Hikaru's talent that he then rooted around him with upliftment and rebellion and made Kibayashi conditionally acknowledge the division of charge. The result was connected to the current situation.

Hikaru infers Kibayashi's intentions from Akira's attitude.

(If you can't even get the hunter of the negotiator to recognize my identity, you're not very good at negotiating, but you can't leave it to me. I'll do it.)

When Hikaru placed an information terminal on the table, he was forced to display his staff information with video by using his ID card.

"This is the ID card that officials use to identify themselves and the employee information in the city's controlled information space. These uniforms are heavily punished for identity fraud when worn by other than city officials. How about this?

Seeing Akira snorted (nodding) as he was convinced, Hikaru was also satisfied with the reaction. However, Akira is an opportunity at the corner (because of this), so as an exercise in the case where a con artist is about to deceive me, I dare to (ah) go on and add difficulty.

"What if I told you that my ID and display page were forged and that I wouldn't find out if I wore my uniform in grandeur?

"Is that it? Then why don't you come with me to the hunter's office and have me ID 'd?

Nod as Akira was impressed. And go on.

"What if they hauled in a hunter's office official and made a fake inquiry?

"Eh. I don't think that's possible with boulders. Is it fair to bring in a hunter's office clerk?

"No, if you're a clerk at an awesome, lonely police station in a cruel location, I feel like I can handle it."

Akira told Hikaru what happened when she registered as a hunter. Hikaru was somewhat oblivious to the circumstances outside the fence and was a little surprised to hear the story.

"... outside, even hunter office employees have quality issues or something. But you're talking about Akira back then, right? Oh, but if they tell you how far to go to cheat a Rank 50 hunter, it's hard to say there's never going to be one."

Hikaru also changed direction in a light-hearted manner because he already realized that Akira was not adding difficulty for other harassment purposes.

"I've heard that a lot of people take back their own hunters like that. What would Akira do? How can I find out and be convinced?

If it's a halfway through, we'll point it out the other way around. Hikaru laughs at Akira as he thinks so.

"That's what they say..."

There is no hanging up if you doubt it for suspicious purposes. I suspect everywhere. The question is where to convince. I also know that Akira. So on my own, I thought about the compromise that there was nothing I could do if I was deceived there.

Alpha smiles a little better.

'Why don't you ask me first?

'Cause I thought about that first, but if they asked me why, I'd have to insist. It would be a little different from the answer here. But I don't get it, so I'm gonna have to ask someone to investigate or discern...'

Akira smiles slightly.

"Ask someone who seems to distinguish you properly, huh?

"I see. Well, why don't you ask?

Show how Hikaru pushes his hands forward gently to encourage execution. Akira thought she had bent her umbilicus (navel) because of a strangely persistent overhearing, but decided to actually try to satisfy Hikaru as well (to). There were two who came to mind as listeners, except for Kibayashi. When I contacted one of them on the information terminal, I immediately wanted to connect.

"It's you. It's rare to hear from you directly. What?"

"Before me, there's a man in a city uniform who calls himself a member of the Wide Area Management Department, and I'd like you to let me know if you have the means to tell right away if it's real or not."

"... you contacted me for that?

The person Akira contacted was Inabe. It should also be noted that the other one that came to mind is Viola.

When I heard the voice that included the other person's strong nervous breath and the subsequent sniffing, I wondered if Akira was also creepy (first) on the boulder. But Inabe didn't hide her troublesome attitude, but she didn't cut the call.

"Wait a minute. … compatible models?... All right, I've temporarily linked your information terminal to the authentication function over here. Let him have his ID."

As soon as Akira asked Hikaru to do it, the results returned.

"I queried. Sakyama Hikar, affiliated with the Department of Wide Area Management. I'm in person. Are you satisfied with this?

"Can I ask you how you checked or something?

"The details of the identification technology are trade secret. Let's just say it's anti-counterfeiting of hunter's cards and the application of identification techniques."

"Okay. Enough. Thanks."

"This is a loan. Have it returned. Right, show Cheryl your face and stay in the mood. Add me to take care of him."

Copy that.

"And point that information device at him."

When Akira does as she is told, Inave is shown on the display surface of the information terminal, with a slightly harsher gaze at Hikaru.

"I don't know who you are, but don't make me bother you"

Hikaru is also well aware of Inabe. Apologize in surprise but haste.

"Also, sorry!

But shortly after Hikaru started apologizing, Inabe had already cut the line. Only a slightly painful silence remains on the scene.

Akira opens her mouth at first sight.

"... that, sorry"

"Yes, that's okay. Never mind."

Hikaru laughed hard and lovingly. But I couldn't do it.

After finishing his conversation with Akira, Hikaru was staying at the restaurant for a parfait. Akira is already home, so she doesn't have to fix it. He carried sugar into his mouth with a slightly tired look, and made a small roaring voice that was difficult to tell if it was due to fatigue or admiration for sweetness (Ammi).

"I'm tired...... But you can't take it... right?

Something unexpected had happened, but Hikaru had spoken out to tell herself that her original purpose had been achieved. Still a little less confident because the Inave case was unexpected on the boulder (that's right) and I couldn't handle it in a hurry (decent).

(You thought you did something wrong, and after that, it's salvation that you listened positively. Nevertheless, I was surprised that Akira could make direct contact with that Inabe. Kibayashi also needs to be able to handle such a hunter in a straight (decent) way. If so, I'll make you regret it)

Rank 50 hunters with city executives and direct means. Hikaru's position increases considerably if he gains Akira's trust and takes the legend (once) away from Kibayashi. We can also expect to see it further in the footsteps.

(I'll definitely do something!

Hikaru raised his mind and contained sugar in his mouth, with a year-to-year smile from its sweetness (Ammi) and glorious outlook.

The expectations and intentions are too high and Hikaru has forgotten. Kibayashi loves impotent (mucha) reckless performers. And the result is someone who can enjoy the same in glory and ruin.

Kibayashi gave Hikaru an opportunity. And I was looking forward to the results.
