Chapter 103: Relaxation Before The War
Darla wished the new day would be better than yesterday. She still might be considered a captive, but she liked it when the village was peaceful. She didn’t mind it.
But the peace was broken for the second time as the kobold suddenly attacked the village. The reinforcements came to save the village, but she was scared of the reinforcements the same as the kobold. These hobgoblins and goblins didn’t know the hierarchy in the village, and they wouldn’t care about Red’s status.
Her fear came true as a hobgoblin captured her, and she almost suffered the same fate as the other women in the cave. Red came in time, and the village chief set the order before things got uglier.
Then she had to work under constant fear. She was scared that other hobgoblins or goblins would jump at her. Fortunately, no one jumped at her again, but it was mentally exhausting.
It was so frustrating that she had to feed the creatures that might defile her. Fueled with fear, it was a hellish day for her. She was glad that she had someone like Red. This red monster was totally different, understanding and caring.
So yeah, she wished for peace and for the number of goblins reduced. She wished the reinforcements would leave today. She wanted everything back to normal. That was what she wished when she opened her eyes, as she had given up leaving this place.
Darla didn’t know if she had a place in human society anymore. She had accepted the fact and just wished to live the rest of her life here with Red. The society would shun her if they knew she was once a goblin’s captive. She would be regarded as filthy, and it might be worse to go back to the human settlement than to live here.
She found an unfamiliar ceiling, a little bit more worn out than usual. Something warmed her from the side, and she realized that she was resting her head against Red’s chest.
She blinked her eyes in confusion because she didn’t really remember how and when she slept. She sat up and looked around, looking for the window. The window was in a different position than in their last room.
There was a leather drape on the window, and it was still dark outside; the sun hadn’t risen yet. Then she looked down at sleeping Red. There was no longer the same tension as yesterday; his breathing was light, but she knew he was not deep in sleep.
She recalled how Red confronted the four hobgoblins. She thought she was done for when the four hobgoblins grabbed her. Four hobgoblins were too much for Red, after all. But she was wrong as he challenged the hobgoblin.
It was hard to understand why Red risked his life for her, but that was what mattered. She was not going to question the man who saved her from the misery.
She rested her face on his chest again, hearing his heartbeat. For some reason, it was calming and comforting, giving her peace of mind. She finally relaxed after the high tension all day yesterday. Her left hand started to move down, and that was when she sensed something bulging down there.
A mischievous smile formed on her lips. At the same time, she realized his heartbeat had raced up. It was getting louder and quicker. He was indeed a light sleeper and was woken up by her movement.
The bulge in her left hand was getting bigger and bigger. Her hand slipped in and caressed the thing inside. Her eyes widened, realizing how big it was. Her hand was too small to hold it. It was like holding a short stick. She wondered how this thing fit inside her.
Darla slowly slid down, pulling down the pants. Feeling it and seeing it truly amazed her at how big the thing was. It was quite alarming, but she didn’t stop.
She started with her mouth for a while until it was rock hard. Then she sat and saw Red had his eyes open. With a smile on her face, she rid him. Her voice filled the room, maybe leaked outside.
She was not embarrassed since she regarded the goblins as stupid monsters. His hand was holding her waist, fully covering her waist as she was lifted up and down.

Red stood next to the bed with his clothes on, looking at the exhausted Darla. He felt bad because he felt like he was going overboard. But the fault was not entirely on him. She started it, but he didn’t hold back. It had been a while after all. Along with the high tension, it was the best way to loosen up.
He dressed her up, carrying her on his chest. It was still dark outside. She slept too early and woke up too early. The sun was still down even after their activity. He left the house with her on his chest.
Red didn’t forget his sword and her dagger. He must carry the weapon even when he was inside the village. There was a chance that more hobgoblins would jump at him.
He carried Darla to their secret spot, the creek. His body was sticky after the fight and the early morning activity. Darla was leaning weakly, but she was still awake.
They took a bath together, and it seemed to rejuvenate her. She was swimming around, floating naked before drifting back toward him.
Little Red was rocking hard again, but he restrained himself. He might have almost infinite stamina when it came to his favorite activity, but not her. She had to work, and could not give the Chief a reason to reduce her status the same as the other human slaves.
The morning bath was truly great. He also felt rejuvenated, fresher, and it got him to relax even more. Unfortunately, they didn’t have too much time as the sun rose. That was the signal that they had to return.
As they dressed up, Red spotted the pouch. He didn’t want to leave it behind when he left the house. He knew it was something precious, so it was better to keep it with him all the time.
Red grabbed the pouch and took out the glowing golden stone. He handed it to Darla.
"Can use it?"
Darla looked at the glowing stone with her eyes bulging, shocked by what Red showed her. Then she looked at Red, before looking down at the glowing stone again.
"What?" She didn’t hear what he said earlier and asked again.
"Can use it?"
"Ah..." She gulped for breath as her hand slowly reached the glowing golden stone.
