As dawn broke, a farmer named Dale put on his work clothes and climbed into his old pickup truck, preparing to head to his fields to check on the crops.

Ahead of him, where there should have been a boundless wheat field, now stood a cluster of strange buildings, visible through the warm morning sunlight.

The buildings seemed to be cast from gold, shimmering with a mesmerizing light under the morning sun.

There were towering pillars and a ground paved with golden bricks. He could vaguely make out ancient humanoid and bestial statues. At the center of the complex stood a terraced, tower-like structure built from stacked blocks of gold.

The sight of the complex immediately brought to Dale’s mind the golden Mayan Pyramids.

’What the hell? How did this get here? This is supposed to be my wheat field! How could a building like this just appear overnight?’

’A prank? Some kind of TV show? A mirage?’

’Or is it a real ancient building pushed out of the ground by tectonic shifts?’

’If all of that is real gold...’

A hint of greed flickered in Dale’s eyes.

The very next moment, however, Dale witnessed another unbelievable sight.

On one of the pillars in the golden complex, a sculpted serpent head began to writhe. A giant snake then detached itself from the golden pillar.

The giant snake, nearly twenty meters tall, propped itself up high on the golden pillar and stared in his direction from afar. Despite the distance, the terror inspired by the colossal creature and its blood-red pupils instantly extinguished every last bit of greed in Dale’s heart.

"Shit!!"

Dale stomped on the gas, threw the truck into a sharp reverse, and sped away. At the same time, he fumbled for his phone and dialed 911.

News of the Golden Pyramid’s appearance spread through the town like wildfire. Many residents watched from a distance, filming videos that quickly went viral online. Scans revealed that the Golden Pyramid was emitting an intense magnetic field. Furthermore, despite looking utterly solid, it was likely not a physical entity but an extremely realistic "illusion."

Just as the command post was debating whether to fire a few shells to confirm the Golden Pyramid was safe to approach for exploration...
