Reincarnated as a Half-God with SSS Abilities

Leila stood with her arms folded with an angry expression across her face and red cheeks. She was so beyond the point of angry.

She remembered all the hurtful things Pride called her: a dumb whore, stupid bitch, extinct species, all while she stayed up in the Monolith for 2500 years. Azazel originally kidnapped and chained her, but Pride was sent to watch over her in the months leading up to Sora's arrival.

Azazel and Helen ordered Pride to do terrible things all the time. He was their go-to for when something absolutely needed to get done. He never failed them. When he was ordered to punish Leila, he did it without a flinch or hint of regret, and now he had to face the reality that he was in a party with her.

"So, let's just start this by saying…"

"Shut it Brie." Leila snapped.

"Go ahead. What is a dumb, stupid whore like myself doing in a party with Sora and are you going to make sure I'm chained up so I can't turn into a dragon while impaling me with more of those spikes?"

Pride frowned. He didn't know what to say.

"I cannot change what I did."

"No, you can't, so just stay away from Ignis, Scarlet and me and we'll all be one happy party." Leila said while going to walk away.

"Leila, please. For me?" Brie begged. "At least hear what he has to say."

"What's the point? He's just going to say he was following orders, which he was! That doesn't change everything he said and he was perfectly fine leaving to let me die when that dungeon collapsed!"

"To save your race, you would never do something so disgraceful. You are not like me, you are different. You lead people, I follow. I am sorry for what I did and do not expect you to accept it or forgive me. I can guarantee the safety of your child, though." Pride said.

Brie smiled. 'At least he's focusing on the child, that's good!'

"How can you take pride in hurting someone for pleasure? I cannot understand and you hate weak people, so what's my baby to you? A pathetic piece of shit who doesn't deserve to exist?"

"A baby is never pathetic. Nor is a child. That is the responsibility of the parents and I don't doubt your child is very strong like her mother and father." He responded apathetically, finally showing a sense of emotion.

"Oh so it's ok because Ignis and I are strong. Very cute Pride."

"That's not what he said Leil–" Brie started, but was cut off.

"Stop defending him! He almost killed you!"

"And I got an amazing reward for it! I just don't share what happened. You have to look at life from a different perspective and if you keep dwelling on the past, how are you going to rebuild your race? Have Scarlet grow up to hate demons? Teach all the new dragons that demons must burn and die? Then you're just doing what Azazel did." Brie said sternly.

"Grow up!" She continued, throwing her hands in the air.

"You cannot tell me to grow up when you're practically a child–"

"STOP LEILA." Brie screamed.

"You're being so beyond absolutely ridiculous right now. Sera, Celeste and I watched Julius' mother get killed by Gluttony and Sora took care of that! He trusts Pride so I trust him. He made very specific conditions to ensure all of our safety, like he has since we saved your life. If you want to leave the party, just go ahead and do it because I'm not going to have you cause drama because you can't let go of this." She said as she stormed away angrily.

"Maybe I just will!" Leila yelled angrily.

"Then say goodbye to your husband!" Brie added before opening the door and slamming it shut.

'Well that's certainly something I didn't expect,' Pride thought.

Everyone in the living area could hear the argument between the two and absolutely agreed with Brie. Too many times had Sora or Brie done something so dramatically selfless to help ensure the safety of the rest of the party. Jubelle sat nervously tapping his foot on the couch. He already didn't like being around large groups of people, despite coming out of his introverted shell over the past few years.

Xander and Diana sat holding hands, Lucious and Sera talked while Iris slept in her arms, Ignis watched while holding Scarlet, hoping Leila would see them and calm down.

'Maybe I should just go out there… No, she'd be too upset.' He thought.

Scarlet teleported to her mother.

"Mama!" She faintly roared in her little dragon form, only Leila could understand her.

Leila smiled at her and quickly transformed into her dragon form.

"Mama need Dada," She hoarsely roared. [again only Leila understands her]

Leila kept her eyes on Scarlet while slowly flapping her wings and starting to fly away, expecting Scarlet to try. Scarlet flapped her little wings and was slightly airborne, but she did not fly to her mother, instead, she flew and landed on Pride's shoulder.

"Hello little one. You are very pretty. I don't think I've ever seen a white and red dragon, is that why they call you Scarlet?"

"Sora, quick, link with Celeste." Ignis shouted.

"Huh?" Sora said.

Ignis was pointing outside. Leila was firmly hovering near Pride, who stayed in his 7 foot version, calm and steady.

'Link with Celeste Grace,' thought and Celeste felt the link activate.

"Mama mad! Dada! Where Dada!" Scarlet said.

"Interesting. I can hear you now. You are quite interesting aren't you. A dragon born from a dragon and a phoenix with no phoenix characteristics?"

Ignis teleported in front of them while Leila continued flapping her massive wings, lingering closely.

"She needs my heart, here." Ignis said while extending his arm to Scarlet, who cuddled up in the flame.

"Dada Fire!" Scarlet said.

"Are you hungry sweetheart?" Leila asked sweetly.

She was still angry, but her child melted her heart every time she saw her. It disgusted her that she was sitting on Pride's shoulder, but she wasn't going to do anything reckless. She just wanted no one to be able to hear her, and now that was gone as well.

"Fire!" Scarlet yelled again.

Ignis teleported about 50 feet away before speaking.

"Fly to dada Scarlet, you can do it."

"Go on little one. Thank you for saying hi to me." Pride said kindly, gently petting the dragons head.

"Warm!" Scarlet said, as the fire Ignis provided heated Pride's metallic skin.

"Yes, your mother and father's fire is very warm. My skin absorbs heat, that's why I'm warm. Thank you for saying hi, listen to your mother and father, they know what is best for you little one." Pride said while extending his arm. "Now fly, you can do it!"

The party stood stunned. A baby dragon was about to take her first flight off of the shoulders of the Demon Sin Pride.
