Chapter 214 - 2.91 Great Grandpa Zeus
Sora, Brie, Emery and Emma said their goodbyes to the party and assured them they'd be back quickly.
"Sorry we can't be there for them, give them our best." Ignis said while holding Scarlet, who was in her human baby onesie. She was slowly growing both as a dragon and a human, but only a day had passed on Exteria, compared to the year and a half they manipulated in Paradise.
"Seriously, this is the first wedding we're going to miss as a party!" Sasha said with a frown.
"Even I have crashed two of them," Pride joked. "Julius did make Wrath a funny puppet, though."
"Ha, yeah. I was really pissed off. It was funny how confused you looked though. You were like "What do I do great master Azazel?" Julius made an impression of a confused Pride, and everyone, including Pride, started laughing.
The Lockhearts went to their room and used their secret portal to Athena's realm, punched in combination and walked through.
"Nana Fena!" Emma and Emery both said while sprinting up to her and hugging her. She lifted them both up with ease, despite them being 2 and a half and the size of 6 or 7 year olds. [6 7 6 7 couldn't resist the dad joke!]
"Why hello you two! Are you excited to see your brother get married?"
"Yeah!" They cheered.
Sora grabbed Brie's hand and they went and hugged his mother. They said hello to Eris before they heard a knock on Athena's door.
"Oh good, he's here!" Eris smirked.
"Huh?" Brie asked.
"Come in, dad!"
"Woah, what?!" Sora exclaimed.
Zeus walked in and was in a muscular, 7 foot form to not seem overly intimidating. He did want to be the biggest and strongest person in the room, and Athena mentioned how impressive Sora and Brie both were. Even Xander now stood around his mother's height, which was six foot.
"The infamous Lockheart family," Zeus' deep voice said excitedly. "What a pleasure to meet you. I am Zeus."
"Great Grandpa Zeus!" Emma said while charging up to him and giving him a big hug. He lifted her up and his face lit up with excitement.
"Why aren't you a pretty little one? You have your mother's eyes. That is quite a unique characteristic! What's your name sweetheart?"
"Emma! That's my brother Emery, we're twins!"
Emery ran up next and Zeus lifted him up just as easily. "And you have the golden eyes of a god. What an interesting family! Sora's eyes are remarkable, I don't think I've ever seen anyone with an amethyst eye, let alone an aquamarine one as well! I'm sure they're very powerful?"
"A gift from Chronos, yes." Sora smiled. "The amethyst one allows me to freeze time and include whomever I wish with me in the space and my aquamarine one lets me cast illusions. My wife's abilities are cooler, though."
Brie blushed. "Oh stop it. Hello Zeus, it's wonderful to meet you. I think you're my grandfather in law?"
Zeus laughed.
"Yes, I suppose that is so. You have quite beautiful eyes yourself. Vampiric control abilities, elven healing abilities, the Lockheart and Aphrodite skills, you are quite impressive yourself. You have a long list of skills my dear and I see a lot of those have been passed on to this little duo." He said eloquently, yet calmly.
"Well I feel dumb for explaining mine," Sora laughed. "It's nice to meet you, sir. You have wonderful children and I couldn't have asked for a better god mom, aunt or earth mother. Please tell me you remembered to invite her to Xander's wedding, Athena?"
"I am sorry, I did not, but I can change that! I'm so sorry Sora!"
"It's ok, you have a lot going on. I'll go ask her with Brie if that's ok?"
"Sure, leave the little ones with us! It's almost time to get Diana anyway."
Brie and Sora teleported to the realm where his earth mother's soul rested, and Sora knocked on the door.
"Sora!" She said, giving him a hug.
The souls were unique in Paradise. They had a physical body but could float around and were transparent, unless they wanted to hug or touch someone. They were carbon copies of whatever version of themselves they wanted to be, and some of them changed their appearance from time to time. Jessica now remained in her late 40s appearance to give herself more of a grandmother vibe.
"Hey mom, I missed you, how are you?"
"I'm doing well sweetheart and how is my favorite daughter?" She said while hugging Brie tightly.
"Fantastic! Xander's wedding is today, it was thrown together really quickly. We'd like to invite you!" She exclaimed.
"Oh! That would be fantastic thank you. It'd be nice to see my oldest grandson get married. How are the twins?"
Sora and Brie caught up with his Earth mother while Athena and company finally teleported Diana away from Xander.
"Sorry Xander, I didn't expect them to just pull me away like that. I'll see you soon. I love you!"
"It's ok babe. I'll see you later too. You're going to look amaaaaaaaaaaaazing!"
Diana laughed.
"There she is!" Athena exclaimed happily.
"Dee-dee!" Emma screamed and ran over before stopping. "Why do you look so much more pretty and like an adult now?"
"You look pretty like our Mama, just not as pretty," Emery joked.
"Of course I'm not as beautiful as your mother Emery." Diana blushed.
"Hello Master Zeus," Diana said with a polite wave.
"Oh my. Gorgeous indeed and the potential with your abilities is… remarkable!" Zeus exclaimed.
'Huh? I'm just an oracle who can heal and do other regular goddess stuff.'
"I know, isn't it?" Athena clapped her hands in excitement.
'I swear she's been clapping in excitement a lot lately. She's been a totally different person these past few days. It's almost like she's loosened up completely and isn't the absolute ruler.' Diana thought while hugging the twins.
"Ok, so, it's time to get you into your dress and get you ready!" Eris exclaimed.
"I will take the little ones with me," Zeus smiled. "Come on Emma and Emery! Let's go play with some phoenixes and would you like to meet a pegasus?"
"What's a pegasus?" Emma asked.
"Oh, I think you'll like him very much!" Zeus smiled as they disappeared.
