Reincarnation into the Barrier Master
Lesson five: The buyer is the Marquise.
Bertham von Elsa, a 60-year-old Marquise. For generations, the Birtham family was famous for producing masters of excellence in witchcraft and was also a useful actor in numerous martial arts and led the kingdom of Juka to victory in the battle against the Headata Empire 250 years ago. It was taken from the civilian population to the Marquis by virtue of its merits and continues to this day.
... and well, this is my brief background on the successful bidder. When she was handed over to me, the city people told me.
"Oh, thank you"
For once, I am a benefactor of life. I have to thank you.
"Call me your husband."
I was next to Mr. Birtherm, the gray-haired man. Who the hell is this Osama?
"I'm Falco. I am a magician at the Birtham family. At the same time, it is also the escort of Master Elsa. You have been enslaved to the House of Birtham by the mercy of Lord Elsa. Delight."
"Thank you. Your husband."
"Mrs. Birtherm. Thank you very much for this time. Quick, but we'll go through this slave change of ownership process."
Soon the slaver's husband was approaching. With all due respect to Elsa, she begins to cast a spell against her. When Elsa hears that and gives her hand to her husband too, Elsa's hand glows. And my hands emit light, too.
"Now this slave has been changed to Master Birtham. We can also buy back slaves. Be sure to use that verse."
If it doesn't sell, dispose of it, so the repurchase story would be a social dictionary.
"No, you probably won't make a repurchase. So this child's change of ownership, so that I can do it in one place. Oh, and please register this Falco as an administrator. You don't have to tie her up."
"I'm in awe. Bye."
Also, Elsa's body glows. Apparently, the process is complete.
"Master, how about the name of this slave?"
"Right... Linos. Let's name it Linos. Bye, Falco. And then, please."
Elsa turned her heel back and boarded the carriage. Apparently, some of the carriages have escort soldiers. Falco dropping off the carriage with the most salutation. I'll imitate it and bow my head to the carriage.
"Then I will take you to the mansion. Before that."
They are taken in front of the well and forced to be naked. And being watered out of my head three times. Take the big cloth out of your nose and give it to me.
"Wipe your body. I'll give you that cloth. Use it as you please."
It's a climate that's neither hot nor cold, but it's pretty cold because I was suddenly watered out of my head. Hard cloth but better than no. Rub gash and body and wash away dirt and water all at once.
When dressed, Falco casts a spell saying "clean (purified)". Then the smell of clothes and small stains disappeared. It's called cleaning magic, and if it's some dirt, it seems magical to clean it up.
"Then Linos. Follow me."
Exactly. They say the squire goes on foot. Along the way, a huge castle floating in the lake caught my eye and I was often stunned.
"That is Juka Castle, which His Majesty the King offers. Take a good look."
It's a Western-style castle, but it's too huge for anything. If you ask me, is it the famous castle that sings the Difficult Fall? Agriculture is also practised within the walls, and there will be no hunger unless the walls are broken through. Moreover, there is only one bridge in the lake, which inevitably extends to the royal castle. Surely it seems impossible to defeat this with force moves.
"Um... why did they buy me?
"What, you don't know your skills? Well, isn't that impossible? You have" junction skills ". It's still LV1 though. My Birtham family has many political enemies. I thought I'd use your junction skills to protect Master Elsa."
Yeah? Me, can you use magic?? Look at me, Falco.
"If you learn how to use magic, you can see their skills. It's called an appraisal. You seem to have magic there, too, so it's hard to work out. I'm a slave, so I can just use junction magic, but because of it, let's make sure you remember all kinds of magic. Just be prepared, okay?
When I saw the old man with the gray hair laughing furiously, he dropped his shoulder when I knew my life wasn't going to be long.
