Reincarnation into the Barrier Master

Lesson 22: The Last Order

It was morning when I woke up. He kept sleeping all night.

In front of you, the chief dragon you knocked down yesterday is down. He has an awesome shape with his eyes peeled off and his mouth wide open.

The flesh of a creature named "dragon" is said to be delicious. But when I wonder if your husband, master, and Eryl are stuck in this guy's stomach, I don't really feel like eating his meat. I tie the line to the Chieftain Dragon and raise the temperature in it all at once. As I saw it, the dragon's body turned bright red, and melted away. It goes like a drooling magma. Increase the temperature even further. Is it thousands of degrees in the junction? After a while the dragon's body evaporated and completely disappeared.

I looked into the sky and put my hands together quietly.

Well, what do we do now? First, we decide to head to the Bertham family mansion.

Enter the King's Capital from the North Gate. The walls, which boast iron walls, have also been damaged considerably by the rampage of the chief dragon. Not only that, but the damage to the house is pretty bad. Perhaps many people have been injured.

I turn to the East Side, where the noble mansion stands. Yesterday I went down this road with Eryl. With that in mind, I go for the Bertham mansion.

As a result of yesterday's commotion, there is not a single soldier, and there is no sign of any people at all. I'll explore the signs of people, but I don't feel anything. There really doesn't seem to be anyone in this area.

Apparently there was little damage to the building. It's the same street as always. However, the atmosphere is quite uncomfortable because there are no signs of people at all.

After a short walk, I arrived at the Bertham family mansion. There is the same gate as usual, and if I wait a little longer, I feel like the maids are going to come out with "Welcome Home Linos".

The gate opened briefly. And get inside the mansion.

From a few meters from the front door, nothing was gone. Your husband's room, your master's room, me and Eryl's room upstairs, they were all gone. Only the dining room on the right side of the entrance hall and the kitchen next to it kept the original shape.

I'm off to the dining room. Yesterday, it is as tidy and clean as usual as I don't think there was such a commotion. Fortunately, this place was safe. Because there's a treasure trove in the House of Birtham here. During his slavery, Master Elsa had ordered him to take all the storage out of the treasure trove in case anything happened to the Bertham family or when the two Marquis and Master Elsa went home for more than seven days without contact. I decided to execute my husband's last order.

The entrance to the treasure trove is a fireplace.

Naturally, this fireplace works great when parties are held in the winter. As well as providing warmth to a large number of invitees, roasted beef in this is a specialty of the Birtham family.

The sides of that fireplace are fitted with small glass. Glass so small that you don't know it unless you pay close attention, but when you pass the magic there, the fireplace moves. Excellent thing about him is that he can only open it with authorized human magic and doesn't open it when he detects signs of a human without permission.

I send magic toward the glass. In fact, I was a little anxious because I was new to the treasure trove too, but the fireplace moved without sound, and from underneath it, a narrow staircase appeared enough for each person to pass by.

As soon as you descend the stairs, the entrance closes. The room ahead, that's the treasure trove. Activate the "lights" of life magic to brighten the area. The treasure trove door has a sculpture with a dragon with a big mouth open, and I put my face to that mouth and utter the euphemism.

"Door, open." Wakarimasen ""

Gachari, and the sound of being unlocked sounds. I opened the door carefully.

Stored inside were two swords and a silver robe.

I'll store it in "infinite storage".

Up the stairs again. On the wall of the climb, there is a small, glowing glass ball. Pour magic into it. The fireplace moves again, and I'm going back to the dining room.

I was curious, so I headed to the kitchen behind the dining room. Dishes are neat and tidy in the kitchen and there is no disturbance at all. Food stored underground also remained intact with no disturbance at all. I put all that food, dishes, cooking utensils, etc. in "infinite storage" and left the mansion behind.

Though people can no longer live there, I kept my boundaries tied to the mansion, the "home" where I spent eight years. I really didn't like being touched by others.

I'm walking out to the west gate. The damage is enormous, as it was quite rampant with the chief dragon. Most of the merchant neighborhoods and residential areas would be damaged. If there were any wounded, I would have done some healing magic.

But there was no one in King Douchi. There's no sign of a creature at all.

Walk towards the North Gate, but no one. After walking for a while, I feel signs of people outside the North Gate. Hurry out of the North Gate and head to those with signs.

There were about 50 citizens there. Some people are injured. Some carry weapons. Probably the ones who took refuge outside the King's Capital in yesterday's commotion. First, we need to treat the injured.

"Gentlemen, are you all right? I'm the one who's hurt..."

"Wow!" "Gah!" "No, no, no, no, no!

As I approach, for some reason, I panic. Some people are losing their hips. Everyone is staring at me for some reason. Is there something behind me?

Looking back, there was just a forest of Renoir there, as usual.

An arrow accidentally falls beside me. Looking back, the men are pointing a bow at me in a tremendous shape.

"Hey, wait a minute!

"Uh-oh! Don't come! Don't come!!!!"

Arrows are released like crazy. I was so surprised by the sight that I did everything I could to escape towards the Renoir Forest.
