Reincarnation into the Barrier Master
Lesson 79 Betraying a nation is a "conspiracy to rebel". What would betray the country?
Late at night, I woke up with the noise of a casual slap on the mansion. Sounds like a messenger from Krumfal.
"What's up, Arga?
"It's an enemy attack. There was a sign of an enemy attack from the harpy of night exploration."
"Okay. I'll be right there."
Take me and Rico, Gon, Ferris, Luara, and Illimo on a transfer junction. The building was noisy and Pius had gathered the mercenaries to lay down a defensive system. Outside the window I saw a collection of harpies, and I saw the gauge of the Guerrion King withheld outside. Looks like they were all waiting for my arrival.
"Kiyuuuuuuuuuuuu"
Itra, the baby guerrion who is turning into the second master of the hall, flies to me with her patties and little feathers sprinkled. I'm going outside with Itra in my arms. There were harpies and gauges refrained.
"My lord, the enemy is assembling just east of the hall, out of the woods"
"We Gerion are already in the woods."
"Okay. I'll see how the enemy's doing."
I held Itra to my chest, put Gong on my back, and rode Illimo up into the sky.
Still in the darkness before dawn, the enemy had laid formations to surround the forest. Apparently, it's the Imperial Knights.
"The aim is like your husband's hall."
"Sounds like it. I guess we'll go on crusading the demons in the woods. It'll take hours to get to the museum."
"Is it so soon?"
"Right, you're going to march in at dawn. We need to get ready by then. But why am I being targeted by the Imperial Knights? I have faithfully executed His Majesty's orders."
Sometimes it's strange.
"Hey Gong, I've often heard servants disobey the country, but what do you say the country disobeys servants?
"Conspiracy, it's not like that. We don't know."
With all that talk, we went back to the hall.
Coming down from Illimo, I first made a rain cloud over the sky and let it rain strong. This will make the ground wet, so the enemy's march speed should be slower. And I'm going to set the line around this hall, assuming the worst. Now we don't have to worry about Rico and the others being attacked.
"Pius, you lead a mercenary unit and deploy an interception unit into the forest in the front of the building. I'll put a line on all of them that I've granted exorcisms. Fire arrows at the attacking enemy and hit stones and magic. And, Gage, you Geryons lurk in the east and west woods of the hall. When the demon comes out, go with a kick. The Harpies are waiting in the woods. Let me know if the enemy has any movement as a scout. I'll have you guys move on to the attack eventually."
I turn around and give Ferris instructions.
"Ferris. You move the sky with Luara and head for Kailiek and Tohotsu. Ruaraa tells Carls of Tohotsu that Ferris wants Marcel of Kyleak to gather each of the seamen together to form a formation outside the settlement and put the Imperial Knights under control."
"" Okay. ""
"Everybody listen up! This battle is already confirmed by the time I get to this hall. The rest is how to destroy the enemy. Attract enemies to a critical point to get a grip on them. I'll put the fireworks up in the air. Signal that, and start the attack!
Ferris jumped up with Luara in his arms and disappeared across the sky. I'll stop the rain. At the same time, each follows the placement. When all battle was ready, we picked up the sunrise.
Around the same time, the Imperial Knights were also ready.
"The sun is rising."
"It's a brilliant morning sun as if it symbolizes our glorious future."
Jono and Gragolaire groaned as they glared at the morning sun.
"Okay, it's time to leave. You guys wait for the good news."
Ausche speaks up, good at staying on the horse. They smiled and dropped him off.
"All armies, we're leaving!
"I'm a little afraid!
I tried to start a march, and an unexpected lay goes in. When I looked in the direction of my abominable voice, I saw my subordinate Knogen running his horse closer.
"Knogen, what the fuck!
"Please wait for this attack"
"Why!
"It's a march in the woods. Earlier rain has soaked the ground. When a leading unit breaks down, it can be a chess knock down and cause tremendous damage to your allies"
"You think the leading troops will collapse? How can you say that?
"I've been on the battlefield for years. It's an investigation. It could unfold too much as ordered by the enemy."
"Knogen, what is your title? How old are you in Imperial Cadet School?
"... I am a civilian. I don't go to cadet school."
"If it's such a battlefield lesson, I don't like it so much. Much more than you've ever learned. What are your chances of meddling with that? Absolutely?
"No, I can't say enough... At the very least, wait until the ground is dry. Plus you can see the troops of the Seamen in the rear. If you get poked in the back, we're going to get a hard beating we can't afford!
"I'll tell you what I can only think of. The seamen are just a restraint. There's no way they're going to join the fight with taking fish as their number one priority. This battle is a battle until the sun rises. We move on with the sun on our back. The enemy must fight while watching the sun. Where's the idiot who misses this opportunity?
"We are well aware of the war situation. Sir, we've been running around the battlefield since before the lieutenant left."
"Shut up! Let me tell you! The commander is this me! This fight will do what I want! I don't take orders from you!
That's what he said. Ausche started the march.
I accidentally snapped when I saw through the window of the mansion that all the troops of the Imperial Knights had entered the woods.
"You win."
"Have you read the trends in battle yet -"
"In the woods I don't know what to do, and it's suicide to proceed with the army at my wet feet."
Ausche, on the other hand, was also convinced of the victory. The enemy is a widow. A lot of quotes would make 100 exquisite. Attacking with a force push at once is easy to let fall. Moreover, the soldiers are all equipped with junction stones bought from the Darke Chamber of Commerce. For this reason, you can proceed with the soldiers without being hurt if you encounter demons in the woods. There seems to be a battle with demons ahead now, but they can be eliminated without any problems. Bertham is slain by those who have equipped him with the stones of the junction he has made. Is there ever going to be a more hilarious story? Ausche couldn't help but notice that her grin was about to leak.
View the surrounding forest landscape to a distraction. O'Shea's head was immediately filled with things after this battle was over.
At that time, the foot of the horse on which he was riding stopped. Suddenly drawn back to reality, Ausche looked at the troops forward, revealing the unpleasance. The march of the troops has stopped and the horses are stiff. I tried to tell him not to stop the march. That's when I heard an unheard sound in Ausche's ear.
Looking on the map, Imperial Knights and Pius' troops are getting meaty. In a little more than five minutes, we're at the point where both armies collide. Perhaps you can see enemy troops from Pius. I release a scorching bullet into the sky. An awesome noise called Dogowar rings in the air. Then Gerion, positioned left and right, began the assault.
It was Pius' troops that opened the end of the battle. It attacks with dignity from the front. The Imperial Knights, which stood in the wake of a sudden explosion, took on a completely void poked form. The Imperial Knights are equipped with junction stones, and the swords and magic of the Pius will be played. But they aimed at the horse's feet. The horses were so rampaged with pain and surprise that they threw the soldiers out onto the ground or ran away in an unanswered direction with the soldiers on board.
The harpies calmly observe the situation from the top of the forest tree and use the ringtone to communicate it to their companions and pass the information on to me. I will immediately deactivate the Demon Stone by stretching the junction across the forest. I consumed quite a bit of MP, but still, about 1/3 of the total. There is no problem at all.
The troops deployed on the side, on the other hand, were assaulted by the Güllions from both of them, some were blown up and some were underneath the Güllions. Initially protected by the junction to connect lives, suddenly the junction ceased to function and a hell of a picture of the snort was unfolded. Those whose frontal troops were similarly slashed continued, and the troops were plunged into havoc.
Ausche fell into the sensation of being dreaming. The troops ahead slowly began retreating as the skirmishes continued, with a group of Güllions looming from both sides.
"Oh, oh..."
Next to Ausche, who speaks a voiceless voice, I hear a voice similar to Knogen's scream.
"... Captain! Lieutenant! Let's retreat! Retreat!"
"Oh, wow."
"Yes! It's useless! Everybody, retreat! We're retreating out of the woods! Retreat!"
Knogen began his retreat as he took the horse of Ausche and forced him to manipulate the horse.
Ausche is unable to move with solidification. I can't chase my thoughts. Why am I running? There are 1,000 knights. Why are the soldiers dead? What's going on with the junction?
Ausche retreats so that she is dragged by Knogen. As a result, the Imperial Knights were making their retreat while losing 1/3 of it. Mud was adding further depth as the horse's hooves further decided on the muddy ground. Everyone was in a hurry to retreat, so there was no control, horses bumped into each other, and it was frequent that soldiers were thrown to the ground.
When he finally went through the woods and came back under Jono and Gragolaire, only 15 pawns followed him around the Auche.
"What the hell! What's the matter with you!
"Hey Ausche! What the hell is this? Explain it!"
Auche, who has the face of being incredible, can't answer the two questions. The soldiers gradually retreat from the woods. Trying to follow it, a large group of Guerrions emerged from the woods, and dozens of harpies emerged above. An upset runs to the soldiers.
"In the woods we were defeated. We are utterly defeated by the Bertham Army and Guerrion."
Kunogen answers with a rough breath.
"I didn't hear you had all these demons!
"Jono, give me that!
Seeing who Gragolaire pointed to, it caught my eye that the troops of the Seamen were trying to cement their backs.
"Totally, we're surrounded."
Kunogen calmly analyzes the war situation as he breathes.
"Hey, what am I supposed to do! Get the whole army together and storm the Empire or the Gragoleil!
"It is impossible to break through this siege. You're going to have to surrender."
"You, still an Imperial Knights soldier!
"It is also fundamental to the battle not to let soldiers die without darkness. If you don't like surrender, you won't be self-determination. Stir up poison, or poke your heart with a dagger. If it's a dagger, I'll lend it to you, okay? Instead, you nobles are expected to have a clean self-determination."
"Self-determination..."
Gragolaire and Jono looked at each other.
After a while, Jono, Gragolaire and Ausche, using Kunogen as their messengers, wished to surrender in three consecutive names.
