Chapter 1143: Ch 1143: High School of the Dead
While Nyxarae was taking solid steps toward her plans, Chisato was also doing the same. Now that she had the support of the Death Overlord, she was having a very easy time making various preparations.
The world of Nadier was special as the place where all the souls of the universe came to rest. But other than the dead souls and the undeads managing them, this place had quite a few other races too.
Most of these races were dark element based and had high resistance to the omnipresent death energy. This was a necessity for most inhabitants of this mega world.
Among them, there were quite a few individuals who were extremely powerful. And with the help of the Death Overlord Momo, Chisato was able to come in contact with some of them and then, with her strong charisma, she had managed to make them to follow her.
Most of these new followers of hers were solitary powerhouses of the Nadier world. So by taking them in, Chisato did not gain any force of her own but that was perfectly fine.
Chisato had the support of the Death Overlord, who was also in charge of the largest force of the Nadier world. So Chisato actually did not need the support of numbers.
Instead, she was making an organization where she would be able to train some of the talented powerhouses so that they could one day be able to reach the peak of this world. And all of this was happening with the full support of Momo.
The Organization that Chisato had ended up making was called the "Transcender Academy". It was something like a school where Chisato and Momo taught others about gaining strength and controlling power. At the same time, some of the truly talented individuals were told about the actual truth regarding the rank of 11.
For the the time being, the people who were able to become a student here were at least rank 8 powerhouses. But Chisato had the goal of expanding this so that regular children and low ranking powerhouses could also become a part of this place in the near future.

In the Transcender Academy, Momo, the Death Overlord was the Head Master. As for Chisato, she was the mysterious secratary of the head master.
Chisato had taken in three rank 10 powerhouses as her personal students and she was planning to help them in reaching the rank of 11 as soon as possible.
As for the other powerhouses, most of them were not aware of who Chisato actually was and just thought of her as a subordinate of the Death Overlord. So she was able to stay hidden for the time being.
As for the reaction of the other worlds and top powerhouses regarding the Death Overlord suddenly opening a school, it was mixed.
Some people like the supreme magus had showed interest in making a few humanoids to study in this place while on the other hand, one of the rank 11 gods was extremely displeased by this.
As for why the Death Overlord was suddenly doing something like this, with some manipulation of information, Momo was able to give the impression that after years of inactivity and mismanagement, suddenly he was trying to unite the scattered forces of this vast mega world and make the world of Nadier more formidable.
This was a worrying things for both the Gods and the Demons. But at the current moment, the Gods were slightly in the lead in this competition between the two races. So the demons were actually happy to see the Death Overlord making some moves.
They were expecting him to shake up the world of the gods and weaken their momentum. If the Gods and the Death Overlord started to fight because of this matter, that would be the best possible outcome for the demons of Helius.
So even with some complains here and there, as the sole sovereign of the world of Nadier, without starting a full blown conflict, there was no one who was able to stop the Death Overlord from doing what he wanted.
So, even though this move made the gods and demons to keep an eye on Nadier, Momo and Chisato did not mind it that much. The insides of the academy was still being highly guarded and it would be extremely hard for the gods or the demons to infiltrate it at this moment when admission was very limited. So for the time being, the secrets about what they were actually doing was safe.

In the head office of the academy, Momo was relaxing his skeletal body while reading a book that Chisato had prepared for him. This book was from a friend of Chisato who was also an expert in the concept of death and Momo found this book to be extremely useful for himself.
As he was engrossed in the book, the door to this room opened without even a knock and Chisato came in. Behind her, three powerhouse were following her.
Among them, two of them were males and one was a female. They were the rank 10 students that Chisato had taken in.
Among the two males, one of them was a very young looking boy. He looked extremely cute and adorable. But if someone underestimated him because of his looks then that would be a big mistake.
This man was an unique individual who was born with the power of devouring soul and gaining knowledge and power from it. So after millions of years of continuous soul devouring, he had grown to become a super powerhouse.
After he had reached the rank of ten, he was deemed to be super dangerous. So some of Momo’s top ranking subordinates had captured him and had put him into a special prison. As there were no souls presence there in that prison, this man had finally stopped growing.
After Momo and Chisato had started there partnership, she herself had freed him from the prison. And as he had no name, Chisato had even used her authority to give him the name of Yomi.
Because of this reason, Yomi had completely submitted to her and had started to learn various things from Chisato. And now that he was learning about how he could control his vast power, Chisato was sure that Yomi would he able to reach the rank of 11 sooner rather than later.
As for the other man, he was a tall and handsome male. As for his name, it was Alestus. He was a vampire who had went through a super rare evolution. This evolution had helped him in breaking his limit and had given him a unique race called the "Dusk Vampire" who were capable of controlling the death energy.
Alestus was a traditional powerhouse with a solid base. He did not have any kind of special abilities except for his unique race and his abilities to control both the blood and the death energy.
But still, he had managed to reach the rank of 10 with his own efforts. So Chisato firmly believed that even if his progress would be slow, Alestus was definitely going to reach the rank of 11 as long as he was not killed or gave up midway.
But even with how amazing these two men were, the lady whom Chisato had find, she was on a whole different level.
So who was she and what kind of talent did she have ?
