Chapter 1152: Ch 1152: Eve of Great Turmoil
Obviously Shin and his friends were not going to accept defeat so soon. Even though this man looked to have a higher rank than them, Shin and his friends were also confident that, together they could even defeat someone like him.
So as everyone started to get battle ready, the man got the message that these brats were unwilling to listen to his orders. So he immediately made an irritated expression and he himself also got ready for battle.
Then in a blink of an eye, he was before Kashimo. With a bloodthirsty smile on his face, this rank 3 powerhouses brought his axe down on the shield of a rank 1 young children. So very naturally, Kashimo was blown away.
But the man was very dissatisfied with this outcome. With his attack, he had tried to cut both the shield and this young boy down. But very suprisingly, his powerful axe had failed to damage the shield at all.
As the rank 3 man was surprised about this and stopped moving for a second, a furious Shin came attacking him with his whole body shining with starlight and the bull behind him looking even larger than before.
In the previous attack, without the high quality shield that their beloved big sister Elena had prepared for them, Kashimo would most likely have died. And as Shin realised this, he was unable to stop himself from getting very angry for not being cautious enough.
But even with his boost, Shin was unable to overpower this rank 3 powerhouse. The axe was suppose to be a slow weapon but this man was incredibly fast with it. The only reason why Shin was not cut in half was his extremely powerful defense of his starlight covered body.
In this situation, he definitely would have lost the battle as his boost had a time limit. But fortunately, he was not alone in this fight and he had reliable friends whom he could trust.
As the axe was once again about to hit Shin, a bolt of lightning came toward the rank 3 man. Even though he knew that it was just a second tier spell, as lightning spells were extra destructive, he did not take the risk and dodged the attack.
But this turned out to be a wrong decision. The correct move in this situation would have been to endure the lightning and press on.
But now that he had taken one back step, the flow of the battle had already shifted against him. His feet suddenly stepped on a few insects and that felt so disgusting that, even in the middle of the battle, he lifted his feet and lost the perfect balance of his body.
This was actually not a big deal. It was minor flaw that most people would not even notice. But, in this battlefield, an absolute battle thirsty person existed who was more than capable of utilising even this little flaw.
So Shuzu appeared in the blind spot of the man and swang her sword at incredible speed. Noticing it at the very last moment, the man tried to protect himself with his axe but he was not successful. He did manage to deflect the attack but only after the sword had made a deep cut on his chest.
At this moment, the man immediately used his own skills to force his body to stop the bleeding. The system that he practiced was that of a bloodline knight. And the bloodline that he had was that of a Tyrannical Boar, which was specialised for strength but did not have many self healing abilities.
But still, to defeat a rank 3 bloodline Knight, just one wound was not enough at all. So Shin decided to take this opportunity to land a few solid hits of his own.
But unfortunately, he was unable to do that as his boost ended at this exact super unfortunate moment. And as soon as that happened, Shin’s overwhelming strength was gone and it was replaced by lethargic feeling. Now he really wanted to sleep and rest a little.
But obviously the battle situation was not that kind. There was no time for him to rest. So immediately, Shin got ready to fight even in his current weakned strength.
But before he could make a move of his own, the rank 3 bloodline Knight came for him. He had noticed Shin getting weaker and wanted to use this opportunity to finish off a powerful opponent.
As Shin noticed the axe coming toward his neck which had lost its starlight protection now, time slowed down for him. Shin truly felt death calling him and this sensation made his survival instincts to flare up.
Immediately, the star soul of an ape awakened inside him. Just like how the bull provided him with physical strength, the ape gave him a special ability to reset his body to his peak condition for a short period of time.
As that happened and Shin returned to his peak, he saw a large gap in the rank 3 bloodline Knight’s defense.
As he had completely devoted himself in attacking in order to finish Shin off, obviously there was a large gap in his defense. And Shin took advantage of that.
His sudden recovery caught the man off guard and then Shin’s punch landed on his jaw and almost made him to faint.
After that, before he could recover, a sword strike removed his hand that was holding the axe and then a lightning spell finally made the man to lose his senses and he fell down. And this was the end of the battle.
Obviously, all the young men and women were extremely happy with their victory in their first ever real battle. Together, they really had managed to defeat a higher ranked opponent.

Elena was watching all this from the rooftop of nearby building and she was quite impressed by what Shin and his friends had managed to do. His talents and destiny were things that grew best in struggle and continuous fighting. He was not really well suited to practice in peace.
So now that he was out in the world to experience more, his growth was going to accelerate. Elena really was looking forward to see how strong these young men and women were going to become.

And that person was none other than Masami who was an incredible powerhouse of the Helius realm. Under Chisato’s training, Momo’s support and her own incredible hard work, she had managed to surpass the peak of rank 10 and was about to reach the rank of 11 in less than a decade.
This was something incredible but at the same time, this was something that both the Gods and the Demons would join forces to stop.
So would Masami Sanae be able to become the eighth rank 11 supreme of this universe ?
