Hearing Qin Tuo’s icy voice, Jiang Liang was so terrified he nearly wet himself.

As Qin Tuo closed in on him, step by step, Jiang Liang made a last, desperate struggle.

"Qin Tuo! Let me go! I promise I’ll give you all my money, leave the Provincial City forever, and never cause you trouble again. How about it?"

A flicker of killing intent flashed in Qin Tuo’s eyes as he sneered,

"If I kill you, I’ll get all that anyway, won’t I?"

Without another word, Qin Tuo threw a heavy punch straight ahead.

In a fit of desperation, Jiang Liang gritted his teeth and let out a beastly roar.

"Qin Tuo, you little bastard! I’ll fight you to the death!"

He roared, charging at Qin Tuo.

But that one punch sent him flying, slamming him to the ground.

SPIT...

Spitting out a mouthful of blood, Jiang Liang collapsed to the ground. He twitched a couple of times and then went still.

With Qin Tuo’s current abilities, killing Jiang Liang with a single punch was an easy feat.

Afterward, Qin Tuo dusted off his hands and went to the bathroom to wash up.

When he came out, he saw Lin Yushu waiting for him, looking deeply unsettled.

"Let’s go. It’s all taken care of. We can go back now."

Qin Tuo said nonchalantly.

But Lin Yushu had clearly heard the bloodcurdling scream from the room and knew that Jiang Liang was most likely dead.

Before leaving, Qin Tuo took one last look around and set the place on fire.

Soon, the entire Jiang Family Villa was engulfed in a raging inferno.

Qin Tuo knew this fire was bound to send shockwaves through the entire Provincial City.

For a family of the Jiangs’ status to meet such a tragic end—he could only imagine how it would stun the Provincial City.

Staring at the terrifying blaze, Lin Yushu was speechless, her face a mask of astonishment.

Before, she would never have believed anyone could actually destroy the Jiang Family.

But today, she had witnessed it with her own eyes: Qin Tuo had single-handedly taken down the entire Jiang Family.

And most importantly, he had made it look so effortless.

’Just what kind of man is he...’

Watching his departing figure, Lin Yushu was filled with a deep sense of curiosity.

Paying the turmoil no further mind, Qin Tuo brought Lin Yushu back to Jin City and headed straight for the hotel.

"Manni, I’m back!"

The moment he saw Chen Man Ni, Qin Tuo called out with a smile.

Chen Man Ni had been pacing back and forth anxiously. When she saw Qin Tuo return, her eyes lit up with pure elation. She flew into his arms, and they embraced tightly.

Only then did the great weight in Chen Man Ni’s heart finally lift.

Heaven knows how worried she had been.

Qin Tuo held Chen Man Ni, comforting her.

"Manni, don’t be scared. I’m back safe and sound, aren’t I?"

But Chen Man Ni clung to him, complaining,

"You have no idea! I was worried sick! If anything had happened to you, what would I have done?"

Seeing Chen Man Ni’s genuine display of emotion, a wave of tenderness washed over Qin Tuo.

He gently stroked her hair. They held each other, speechless for a moment.

Suddenly, Chen Man Ni realized something. She quickly pulled away from Qin Tuo’s embrace and went to her cousin, Lin Yushu.

"Cousin, thank you for taking such a huge risk for me. It was all my fault. I never should have let you go into danger alone..."

Chen Man Ni’s face was filled with gratitude, as well as a deep, profound guilt.

Lin Yushu just smiled and shook her head.

"It’s nothing, Manni. It’s what I should do. You’re my cousin, after all, aren’t you?"

Chen Man Ni bowed her head deeply, her face flushed with shame.

"Cousin, I owe you for this. From now on, if you need anything, just ask!"

Qin Tuo understood how Chen Man Ni felt. After all, even he had to admire Lin Yushu’s bravery.

He was glad he’d managed to save her; otherwise, he couldn’t imagine how much Chen Man Ni would have blamed herself.

Lin Yushu said with a smile,

"Alright, Manni, there’s no need for that between us. As long as you and Qin Tuo can live happily together, that’s the greatest comfort to me."

Yet, as she spoke, her gaze on the intimate couple, Qin Tuo and Chen Man Ni, was incredibly complex.

But Chen Man Ni didn’t notice.

She nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears.

"Alright, everyone should go get some rest. From now on, the Jiang Family won’t be causing any more trouble."

Qin Tuo announced to the group with a smile.

Beside them, Zhou Qihua, Lin Yuyan, and the others listened, their faces etched with confusion.

Chen Man Ni couldn’t help but ask,

"Oh? What do you mean by that, Qin Tuo? Don’t tell me the Jiang Family is just willing to let this go?"

At her side, Lin Yushu opened her mouth, about to reveal the truth.

But Qin Tuo shot her a look, warning her to keep quiet.

Lin Yushu quickly caught herself, the words dying in her throat. She realized then that Qin Tuo wiping out the entire Jiang Family wasn’t exactly something to be proud of. It was best not to speak of it publicly.

Qin Tuo just smiled at everyone and said,

"Don’t overthink it. Just go about your business!"

Seeing that Qin Tuo didn’t want to elaborate, the others were tactful enough not to press the issue.

In any case, since Qin Tuo had said so, they could all finally relax.

As she watched Qin Tuo lead Chen Man Ni away, Lin Yushu’s gaze remained fixed on their backs, lingering for a long time.

’Sigh... Lin Yushu, you fool. That’s your cousin’s boyfriend. What are you thinking?’

Lin Yushu sighed deeply to herself.

Ever since Qin Tuo had saved her, she had found herself falling hard for him.

As much as she hated to admit it, it was the truth. She couldn’t lie to her own heart.

And it wasn’t that Lin Yushu hadn’t considered saying something.

But the moment she thought of her cousin, Chen Man Ni... she didn’t dare.

"Yushu, what are you thinking about? Let’s go home!"

Zhou Qihua walked over, still looking a bit shaken.

After such a tumultuous event, all he wanted was to get back to Jishi Hall as quickly as possible.

Zhou Qihua reached for Lin Yushu’s hand—a perfectly natural gesture—but she instinctively recoiled.

"Don’t pull me. I can walk on my own."

Lin Yushu said coolly.

Zhou Qihua’s eyes went wide. He couldn’t understand why Lin Yushu’s attitude toward him had suddenly become so cold.

"Yushu, what’s wrong?"

Zhou Qihua couldn’t help but ask, his brows furrowed.

"I’m fine. Let’s go back..."

Lin Yushu said faintly.
