Chapter 314: A Swarm of Ants

Seeing that this man clearly had hostile intentions, Long Wu was on full alert.

He walked over and blocked the black-robed man's path like a solid wall.

The black-robed man looked up and shot Long Wu a cold glance, an undisguised killing intent radiating from his body.

Long Wu asked in his hoarse voice,

"Sir, who are you?"

The black-robed man shook his head coldly and replied,

"Listen up. I am the Dharma Guardian Envoy of the Blood Moon Pavilion. My name is Zhang Song!"

He announced his identity without a hint of concern. This was born from a deep-seated confidence that no one here was his match.

Long Wu's eyes narrowed, shocked by the man's identity.

He immediately asked again,

"What is someone from the Blood Moon Pavilion doing here?"

Zhang Song let out a laugh, but there was no mirth in his eyes.

"Listen. I am here to kill that Qin Tuo and avenge one of my own!"

Long Wu's heart pounded in his chest as he realized what was happening. This must be a fellow disciple of Master Wu Jing.

And by the looks of it, he was here to settle the score with Qin Tuo and wouldn't leave until he did!

His face full of vigilance, Long Wu thought for a moment and said,

"Wait here. I'll go inside and announce you."

Zhang Song said disdainfully,

"Why should I listen to you? Can't I just go in and kill the guy myself?"

An idea struck Long Wu, and he quickly said,

"Sir, since you are here for revenge, you should do it honorably. Let me go in and announce you first. It's the proper way to do things, isn't it?"

Hearing Long Wu's words, Zhang Song's brow furrowed slightly, and he gave a reluctant nod.

"Then be quick about it. Tell that brat to hurry up and come greet his death. I won't wait long!"

Long Wu didn't reply. He turned and immediately ran inside.

But when he reached the door to Qin Tuo's room, Long Wu stopped.

Of course, he wasn't going to disturb Qin Tuo. He clearly remembered what Qin Tuo had told him.

No matter what happened, he was to guard this door and not allow any outside disturbances.

However, Long Wu had already seen enough to know he was no match for Zhang Song.

And Qin Tuo had been in closed-door cultivation for several days, showing no signs of coming out.

Left with no other choice, Long Wu shook his head and made a call to Qiangwei.

"Hello, Long Wu? Has something happened?"

When Qiangwei answered the phone, her heart skipped a beat. She had a keen sense that something was wrong.

Sure enough, Long Wu's voice was grave as he said,

"Miss Qiangwei, someone from the Blood Moon Pavilion is here to get revenge on the Celestial King! I'm no match for him at all. You have to bring people over, quickly!"

"What? Is that true? Okay, I'm on my way!"

Qiangwei was aghast. She quickly hung up, gathered her people, and sped toward the Liao Family Villa.

Meanwhile, Long Wu could only pace back and forth in the hallway, his heart burning with anxiety.

Time ticked by. Outside, Zhang Song's brow was furrowed in anger.

So much time had passed, and no one had come out to deal with him. He realized something was wrong!

Even if Zhang Song were an idiot, he would know he'd been tricked by Long Wu. He was instantly overcome with rage!

"Bastard! How dare you use a delaying tactic on me! You're courting death!"

As soon as the words left his mouth, his eyes filled with fury, and he charged inside without another word.

A group of guards from Rose Hall saw the situation turning sour and rushed over to stop him!

"You want to stop me? I think you're looking to die!"

Zhang Song went on a killing spree, felling the guards with a single palm strike each, killing them with ease.

Soon, the disciples of Rose Hall had suffered heavy casualties. Not a single one of them could withstand a single blow from Zhang Song.

Bodies littered the courtyard, but Zhang Song's eyes were cold and indifferent, as if killing were a trivial matter.

Killing all the way, Zhang Song advanced deeper inside, soon reaching the upper floor of the villa.

At this point, seeing that no one could stop him, Long Wu had no choice but to step up himself.

"You've got some nerve. I'll give you one chance. End it yourself. Otherwise, I'll make you regret ever being born!"

When he saw Long Wu, an even stronger hatred appeared in Zhang Song's eyes.

But Long Wu had no choice. Qin Tuo was still in cultivation, and he absolutely could not allow Zhang Song to interrupt him.

"Zhang Song, reinforcements are coming! You won't be able to escape then, so why don't you just leave quietly now!"

Long Wu said, forcing himself to sound brave.

However, Zhang Song laughed arrogantly, as if he'd just heard a joke.

"I think you're just begging to die!"

After saying this, Zhang Song dashed directly toward Long Wu.

His speed was like a whirlwind, leaving Long Wu with no confidence he could defend himself.

And so, Long Wu could only brace himself and charge forward to meet him.

THUD!

But in a single move, Zhang Song swatted him to the ground, leaving him unable to move.

The gap in their strength was simply too vast, and a deep despair welled up in Long Wu's heart.

"In my eyes, you are nothing but a tiny ant, beneath my notice!"

Zhang Song stared coldly at Long Wu and slowly raised his palm, preparing to end his life.

But just as he was about to strike, a sharp cry suddenly rang out from a distance!

"Stop right there!"

Zhang Song glanced up, a mocking smile touching the corners of his lips.

Qiangwei rushed in, her face etched with anxiety. Behind her were several hundred elite members of Rose Hall.

Yet, seeing so many people arrive, Zhang Song simply clasped his hands behind his back, a look of complete ease on his face.

In his eyes, no matter how numerous these lowly Martial Artists were, they were just a swarm of ants that he could crush at will!

Qiangwei quickly helped Long Wu up and checked on his condition.

Seeing Long Wu's pale face, Qiangwei asked with concern,

"Long Wu, how are you? You have to hold on!"

Long Wu managed a weak smile and said in a faint voice,

"Don't worry, Miss Qiangwei... I'm not dead yet!"

Just then, Huo Jianqiang also arrived with a dozen agents from the Security Pavilion.

When he saw the scene before him, Huo Jianqiang's heart tightened.

"Sir, I'm warning you, don't cause trouble here!"

Huo Jianqiang said threateningly.

Zhang Song sneered and said with contempt,

"Oh? And which little ant are you?"

Huo Jianqiang straightened his back and said in a stern tone,

"Listen up. I am the Chief Investigator of the Provincial City's Security Pavilion. Your actions today have crossed the line for the Security Pavilion. Stand down immediately."

"Oh? The Security Pavilion?"

Huo Jianqiang hadn't expected Zhang Song to just flash a mocking smile. It was clear he held the Security Pavilion in utter contempt.

Zhang Song suddenly raised his voice and boomed,

"What damn Security Pavilion? A lowly Chief Investigator dares to shout at me? Get the hell out of my sight!"

Huo Jianqiang was instantly put in an awkward position, not daring to charge forward and confront him head-on.

He was well aware of how terrifying these Warlocks were. Even if he and his men charged, they would only be throwing their lives away!
