Chapter 281: Rose Bar
Ouyang Lei froze when he heard this, his expression filled with intense suspicion.
"Oh? You?" Ouyang Lei said dismissively. "Nothing you’re wearing is worth more than a thousand. How much money could you possibly have?"
Qin Tuo shook his head and smiled.
"How much do you need?"
Ouyang Lei put his hands on his hips, a cold sneer on his face.
"I want two hundred thousand. How about it, kid? Can you cough it up?"
But Qin Tuo just nodded and said with a casual smile, "It’s only two hundred thousand. That’s easy."
As he spoke, he pulled out his phone and made the transfer.
Ouyang Lei, his face a mask of shock, took out his own phone.
Then, he watched, wide-eyed, as Qin Tuo actually transferred two hundred thousand to him!
The moment he saw the money had really arrived, Ouyang Lei’s eyes went wide with disbelief.
"My God, he really sent two hundred thousand..."
Ouyang Lei suddenly noticed his own breathing had become ragged.
Abruptly, his face flushed red and he shouted at Qin Tuo, "Brother-in-law, you’re way too generous! From now on, you’re my one and only brother-in-law!"
Hearing this, a blush crept up Ouyang Feifei’s cheeks and her heart began to race. She snapped irritably, "You little brat, don’t just call him whatever you want! He is not your brother-in-law. If you call him that again, I’ll smack you!"
But Ouyang Lei just gave a wicked grin. "I don’t care. I’ve accepted him as my brother-in-law, and nobody can change that. Who else would be so good to me?"
Ouyang Feifei was rendered speechless.
She knew this was just Ouyang Lei’s personality; he was a lost cause.
Ouyang Lei grabbed Qin Tuo’s arm and said excitedly, "Brother-in-law, how about this? I’ll take you out to have some fun, show you what you’ve been missing."
Apparently, Ouyang Lei saw Qin Tuo as a rich but naive guy who looked like he’d never really lived it up.
So, he was determined to take Qin Tuo out for a wild time.
Ouyang Feifei immediately tried to stop him.
"Lei, don’t do anything reckless!"
She was afraid that if Qin Tuo went out, he’d be spotted by the Liao Family, and things would get messy.
But Qin Tuo remained expressionless, looking completely nonchalant.
Ouyang Lei said, "Sis, you’re not even married yet and you’re already controlling Brother-in-law this tightly. Are you trying to make him henpecked?"
Ouyang Feifei flared up, rolling up her sleeves on the spot, ready to teach Ouyang Lei a little lesson.
"Hey, Sis, don’t hit me! I haven’t done anything wrong. I just want to take Brother-in-law out to have some fun. Is that a crime?"
Ouyang Lei put on an innocent look.
But Ouyang Feifei knew this was no laughing matter.
However, Qin Tuo stopped her, smiled, and said, "It’s fine. I’ll be back soon. Don’t worry."
Since Qin Tuo had spoken, and since she was also afraid Ouyang Lei would keep spouting nonsense, Ouyang Feifei had no choice but to reluctantly agree.
"Qin Tuo, if you go out with him, you have to be careful. Don’t let anything happen!" Ouyang Feifei added, still worried.
Qin Tuo nodded, then left the rented apartment with Ouyang Lei.
Soon, Ouyang Lei brought Qin Tuo to a bar.
The place was called the Rose Bar, and you could tell it wasn’t a low-class establishment.
Inside, the bar was bustling. Under the dim lights and to the rhythm of a throbbing beat, young men and women swayed their bodies. The air was thick with the scent of alcohol.
The moment Ouyang Lei walked in, he was completely in his element, as if he had found his personal paradise.
"Brother-in-law, come on, let’s have some fun! What are you just standing there for?"
Ouyang Lei pulled Qin Tuo over to a table and they sat down.
Just then, a bar girl in a sexy, provocative outfit walked over.
Ouyang Lei’s eyes lit up, and he quickly pulled her down to sit beside him.
"Hey, what are you doing? Get away from me!"
The bar girl, Fangfang, shot him a nasty glare.
But Ouyang Lei just grinned proudly. "Fangfang, I’ve been chasing you for so long, and you always look down on me. Well, I’m coming clean today. The truth is, I have a very rich brother-in-law, and he’s great to me. He gives me whatever I want!"
A flicker of interest suddenly appeared in Fangfang’s previously disdainful eyes.
"Oh, so this is your brother-in-law?"
She said, sizing up Qin Tuo seriously.
Ouyang Lei nodded and smiled. "Yeah. So, Fangfang, want to reconsider getting together with me?"
Qin Tuo could tell at a glance that Ouyang Lei was pursuing this bar girl but had likely been rejected multiple times.
The reason was simple: he probably didn’t have any money.
Now Ouyang Lei had deliberately brought him here to use him to woo this gold digger.
But who would have thought that Fangfang would completely ignore Ouyang Lei? Her eyes lit up as she slid into the seat next to Qin Tuo, greeting him with eager enthusiasm.
"Hello there, sir!"
Qin Tuo frowned and silently scooted one seat over.
The cloying mix of overpowering perfume and alcohol on Fangfang made him want to gag.
But Fangfang didn’t seem to notice at all. Instead, she just kept inching closer with an obsequious smile plastered on her face.
Watching this, Ouyang Lei’s heart sank.
He was starting to regret his decision. He never thought the woman he was chasing would throw herself at Qin Tuo like this. His plan had backfired spectacularly.
Seeing how cold Qin Tuo was toward her, Fangfang felt a little displeased.
She wanted to hook Qin Tuo as her meal ticket, but he wasn’t taking the bait.
’I don’t believe it. You men can’t resist temptation. You’re just pretending to be a gentleman. Just watch me break down your defenses!’ Fangfang fumed inwardly.
Just as she was about to pull out all the stops, two blond-haired punks walked over.
"Yo! Isn’t this our little princess, Fangfang?"
One of the punks, a lecherous smile on his face, sauntered over and reached out to touch Fangfang’s chin.
Fangfang was instantly displeased and dodged to the side.
But the other punk took the opportunity to give her a hard squeeze, then let out a triumphant laugh.
"This little chick feels pretty good!"
"Damn right. And she’s dressed to kill today. Are you getting ready to have a good time with us two brothers?"
The two blond punks brazenly let their eyes roam all over Fangfang’s body.
Ouyang Lei’s anger flared as he watched, but he hesitated to speak.
He desperately wanted to step in, but he was also a little afraid of the two punks.
So, Ouyang Lei could only turn to Qin Tuo with a pleading look.
"Brother-in-law, those two guys are harassing Fangfang. Can you help me out and teach them a lesson?" Ouyang Lei whispered, unable to stand seeing the woman of his dreams being bullied like this.
