The auction house treated a VIP client like Qin Tuo, someone who could casually drop hundreds of millions, with the utmost courtesy.

He had been worried that dealing with Qin Tuo elsewhere might leave a messy trail, but he never expected Qin Tuo to walk right into his trap.

After saying his piece, Wu Chenggang shot a look at Song Qiang.

Song Qiang immediately nodded and, without a moment’s hesitation, pulled a long, sharp blade from behind his back.

Long Wu, however, merely narrowed his eyes, his gaze fixed intently on Wu Chenggang.

But a mysterious smile played on Qin Tuo’s lips, and he didn’t seem the least bit worried.

Song Qiang pointed his long blade at Qin Tuo and said coldly,

"You damn brat, hand over the snow lotus now, or I’ll make sure you leave here horizontally after coming in vertically!"

Qin Tuo smiled.

"Just you alone? I doubt you’re capable of that."

A cruel sneer spread across Song Qiang’s face.

"Boys, come on out!"

The moment he finished speaking, more than a dozen men emerged from the back of the shop. Every one of them was burly and vicious-looking, and they quickly surrounded Qin Tuo’s group.

This sudden turn of events made Lin Yuyan and Zhou Qihua’s hearts pound in their chests, their faces drained of all color.

Forcing down his fear, Zhou Qihua said through gritted teeth,

Wu Chenggang let out a cold laugh, his gaze locked on Qin Tuo.

"Qin, I’ll give you one chance. Hand over the snow lotus, and I won’t touch you. How about it?"

But Qin Tuo just grinned and asked,

"Boss Wu, from the looks of it, are you planning on robbing me?"

Qin Tuo’s completely calm and composed demeanor surprised Wu Chenggang.

’He couldn’t believe it. How could Qin Tuo still be smiling when facing so many of his men?’

For a moment, Wu Chenggang couldn’t help but feel a flicker of suspicion, and he grew warier of Qin Tuo.
