Si Lin might not even have been aware of the Martial Path’s existence. In his eyes, as long as he had a weapon in hand, there was no way he would lose to someone unarmed.

"Not interested," Wu Tian said, shaking his head slightly. To him, Si Lin didn’t even qualify as an ant.

Just as Si Lin raised his carrying pole to strike, Wu Tian let out a soft hum.

Instantly, ripples spread through the air, carrying a concussive force.

"No!" Si Lin felt as if something had slammed into him, and he howled as his entire body was sent flying backward.

BOOM.

His body smashed against a wall by the roadside, the impact shattering his bones and causing him to vomit blood.

"Waaah... It hurts..."

Si Lin was a lazy man who couldn’t stand hardship; otherwise, he wouldn’t have stayed in this village his whole life. Now, the sheer pain made him burst into tears.

"How pathetic," Wu Tian said, shaking his head.

"If that’s what being an adult is like, I’d rather never grow up," the little one sighed. To her, he was the most pathetic adult she had ever seen.

The elderly villagers gathered around him in concern.

"Are you alright?"

"Oh, my dear grandson."

"Our sweet boy."

Si Lin just kept wailing, trying to convince himself that Wu Tian had only won because he was bullying someone weaker. "Grandpa, Grandma, you have to get revenge for me!" he cried out like a spoiled child.

"Of course."

"Don’t worry, our dear grandson."

The village elders then turned to glare at Wu Tian with hostility.

"I am Wu Tian, the sole sovereign of the Xiuyuan Realm, the Artifact Domain, and the Domain of Myriad Demons. I will order the establishment of nursing homes across the land. You will be able to move to the cities, and you will have the chance to see your real children and grandchildren..."

Upon hearing this, the villagers’ bodies shivered, and they couldn’t help but tremble. Wu Tian’s words were enough to pull them out of the fantasy they had been living. They no longer wanted to deceive themselves. Si Lin wasn’t their real relative; their hearts were truly with their own descendants far away in the city.

"You... you’re not going to care for me anymore? Grandpa? Grandma?" Si Lin panicked when he saw their reaction and began to wail even louder.

If he lost the doting affection of these elders, how could he possibly survive in the village? Who would fetch water for him to wash his face? When he craved something delicious, who would go through all the trouble to cook it for him? When he occasionally wanted some fancy item from outside the village, who would go and get it for him?

Si Lin cried out, "Grandpa, Grandma, don’t you love me anymore?"

The elderly villagers frowned slightly. Since they had the chance to reunite with their real families, then Si Lin... well, he should learn to stand on his own two feet. After all, they weren’t his actual elders.

"Si Lin, from now on, you need to learn to be independent."

"Stop crying. You’re twenty-nine this year."

"Work harder. You need to learn to take care of yourself."

Their words were clearly a farewell.

"No!"

Si Lin felt his world collapse around him. He let out a piercing scream and fainted.

The little one in Wu Tian’s arms watched this scene, completely speechless.

Are there really adults this pathetic? A deadbeat? A deadbeat? Hehe, I finally get it. He’s the deadbeat of all deadbeats.

The little one felt Si Lin was a lost cause who would never be able to turn his life around.

Wu Tian had no interest in staying any longer, especially now that he had learned what he needed about the Undead Martial Sovereign. It was time to leave.

"Teacher, I cannot go with you just yet," Tian Wen said as he stepped forward. "But rest assured, Teacher, I will do everything I can to catch up to you soon."

"Alright." Wu Tian nodded. He had great confidence in Tian Wen’s strength.

"Teacher, I shall entrust this to you." As he spoke, Tian Wen moved closer to Wu Tian and began reciting something. It was the Mantra for the World’s Number One Mental Method, and Wu Tian, as the Immortal Emperor, naturally understood it.

To hear the Emperor’s Technique, one must either possess the blood of an Immortal Emperor or be the chosen one.

Finally, Tian Wen reminded him, "Teacher, the condition for cultivating the World’s Number One Mental Method is to first die and then be reborn. It is an extremely difficult prerequisite."

Indeed, this was incredibly difficult even for Wu Tian, but it wasn’t necessarily impossible.

"Don’t worry, I won’t attempt to cultivate it until I meet that condition," Wu Tian smiled faintly. He wasn’t a child; he had a clear head and knew what he could and couldn’t do.

One had to experience death and rebirth to cultivate the World’s Number One Mental Method. Attempting it without meeting this condition meant certain doom.

「By the time Wu Tian and his group returned to the Xiuyuan Realm, it was already night.」

The eunuchs and Palace Maids in the Royal Palace were still awake. The declaration of the Undead Martial Sovereign had spread throughout the world that day, and none of them could sleep. They all dreamed of possessing such terrifying power, but of course, such a state was only attainable in their daydreams.

That night, as Wu Tian held the little one in bed, she spoke up. "Dad, look at you! You got the World’s Number One Mental Method, and all I got was this flag. Aren’t you going to give me something else?"

The little one, tucked under the blankets, stared up at him with wide eyes, looking as if she might cry if he said no.

Wu Tian chuckled. "Don’t worry, I’ve already thought of what to give you. Just a moment..."

His Spiritual Sense entered the Heavenly Emperor’s Treasure House within the Heavenly Court, and he did indeed find a few things in one of the palaces.

There were five Supreme Treasures in total:

First, the Red Damask Ribbon: A seven-foot-long red sash that automatically binds enemies and repairs itself if cut.

Second, the Qiankun Ring: A golden bracelet that can change size. When thrown, it attacks with immense power and never misses its target. It is incredibly durable, capable of withstanding trillions upon trillions of impacts without breaking.

Third, the Fire Spear: A pair of spears, each with an eighteen-foot-long shaft.

Fourth, the Wheels of Wind and Fire: A pair of wheels containing the power of wind and fire. They can be ridden under one’s feet as a vehicle, allowing for travel between heaven and earth at incredible speeds.

Fifth, the Golden Brick: A solid gold brick used as a projectile weapon.

As Wu Tian’s Spiritual Sense returned, he waved his hand, and the Supreme Treasures appeared on the bed.

The little one immediately jumped out from under the blankets.

"Whoa, Dad, not bad!" she said in her cute, childish voice. "So many Supreme Treasures this time. Your adorable daughter is very satisfied."

She walked over and picked up the treasures. After examining them, the little one looked stunned, then turned to Wu Tian with a solemn expression. "Do you want me to be Nezha?"

"I suppose so," Wu Tian smiled lightly.

"Alright, since you want me to, then I’ll go cause some trouble," the little one giggled. "I hope I can meet a fool like the Third Dragon Prince."

Wu Tian was speechless.

He felt it was necessary, as a father, to clarify. "No, I want you to be like Nezha, but not *that* part of him."

The little one’s eyes widened with curiosity. "Besides causing trouble, what else did Nezha do? Go on, tell me."
