Chapter 758 - 761 Roll [First Update]
"No!" Dian She tried to dodge the Qiankun Ring, but he couldn’t escape it. He was struck square in the forehead, and his head instantly felt dizzy and groggy. His very soul was shaken, nearly forcing him back into his true form.
"Darn it. This is my first time using the Qiankun Ring, and I can’t even unleash its full power," the little girl said, thoroughly disappointed.
Dian She was about to die from sheer rage. I’m about to be beaten back into my true form, and this kid has the nerve to say something so discouraging? Do I have to be beaten to death for it to count?
"This is outrageous!" Dian She roared.
"You’re using the wrong word," the little girl said, shaking her head. "You’re not human."
Dian She was speechless.
The little girl huffed. After hitting Dian She’s forehead, the Qiankun Ring automatically returned to her hand. Understanding the principle of striking while the iron is hot, she immediately charged forward again. With the ring in hand, she furiously smashed it toward Dian She’s head. He was still dizzy, his vision blurry. Under the relentless assault, his vision finally went black as the ring struck him again with immense force.
"ARGH!" Dian She cried out as his cheek swelled up grotesquely. Half of his face had reverted to its original form—that of a snake.
"How could you do this to me?" Dian She was enraged and bewildered. He was a Tongxuan Realm expert, while this little girl was merely at the first stage of Foundation Establishment. Logically, she should have been no match for him. Yet, whenever she attacked, Dian She felt some mysterious power suppressing him, preventing him from using even a tenth of his true strength. To be utterly dominated by a child... Dian She was livid!
"So powerful..." Dao Feng and the others exchanged stunned glances. They knew the little girl was strong, but they had never imagined she was this formidable. They couldn’t understand how she could so easily suppress someone an entire Major Realm above her.
Only Zhou Butong had a theory. The Emperor’s Technique! Those who cultivate the Emperor’s Technique are under the protection of the Emperor’s might. Anyone who opposes them is invisibly suppressed by the Emperor’s authority. But he didn’t dare say it out loud.
The little girl struck him a few more times, stopping only when Dian She was beaten into a completely unrecognizable state. Now, no one would believe his original form was a snake. Seeing his swollen head and puffy red eyes, if someone claimed his true form was a pig, many would surely believe it.
"You... You’re despicable! Relying on that ring to defeat me... This is a dishonorable victory!" Dian She snarled, struggling to his feet. I don’t believe this child knows any Emperor’s Technique. She only won because of that Qiankun Ring. Without it, this kid is nothing!
"Say that again. I dare you. I’ll hit you again," the little girl threatened, raising the Qiankun Ring once more.
"I..." Seeing her stance, Dian She believed she would actually kill him. He didn’t dare make another sound.
"Alright, that’s enough. Beating him to this state with the Qiankun Ring is sufficient," Wu Tian said as he emerged. He had finally located Empress Wa’s Palace within the Heavenly Emperor’s Treasure House and ended his seclusion. A playful smile touched his lips as he walked out of the Royal Palace.
"Okay, if Dad says so, I’ll stop hitting him with the Qiankun Ring for now." Hearing Wu Tian’s words, the little girl put the ring away.
Dian She looked at Wu Tian, thinking the man wasn’t so bad after all. If Wu Tian hadn’t spoken up, he would have been beaten to death.
But in the next moment, Wu Tian smiled and said, "You’ve tested the Qiankun Ring. Now, try using the Heaven-Mixing Ribbon."
"What?" Dian She was stunned. Isn’t this man a good person? Why is he suddenly so malicious? But... it’s fine as long as she doesn’t use the Qiankun Ring. What is this Heaven-Mixing Ribbon? It’s just a long sash. What’s the use of that? How much power could it possibly have? That kid had fun beating me with the Qiankun Ring, didn’t she? Now she’s using a ribbon? It’s my turn to hit back!
Gritting his teeth, Dian She pointed at the little girl and sneered, "Come on, then! Fight me!"
"Okay," the little girl agreed with a smile. She was also curious about the true power of the Heaven-Mixing Ribbon. With a flourish, she swung the ribbon and charged at Dian She.
Dian She flickered, dodging once, twice, three times, but he couldn’t avoid the fourth attack. He was finally bound by one end of the Heaven-Mixing Ribbon.
"Heh, have you forgotten who I am?" he huffed. CRACKLE! SIZZLE! Electricity surged from his body, traveling along the ribbon straight for the little girl, a current powerful enough to paralyze her completely. However, as the electricity traveled along the Heaven-Mixing Ribbon, it was gradually nullified by the ribbon’s own Spiritual Power.
"What? What kind of ribbon is this?" Dian She’s eyes widened in disbelief.
The little girl just giggled. With Dian She bound by one end, she began to swing the ribbon. Under its power, no matter how heavy something was, it became as light as a feather. The little girl swung him around effortlessly.
"ARGH!" With each tug of the ribbon, Dian She was slammed repeatedly into the ground until he was seeing stars.
"You... If you didn’t have the Qiankun Ring and this Heaven-Mixing Ribbon, you... you could never defeat me!" Knowing he would die if this continued, Dian She suppressed his anguish and shouted, "If you have any real skill, fight me without these two Magical Treasures!"
"Alright, I won’t use either of them," the little girl said.
"Good! Let’s see how you defeat me without those two Supreme Treasures!" Dian She charged toward the little girl, ready to launch a frenzied counterattack. He wanted revenge. He would show this kid that without the Qiankun Ring and the Heaven-Mixing Ribbon, she was nothing!
"Look out for the Gold Brick!" the little girl shouted, producing yet another Supreme Treasure.
"ARGH!" Dian She was struck again.
"You... If you didn’t have the Gold Brick, the Qiankun Ring, and the Heaven-Mixing Ribbon, you..."
"Then see my Fire Spear!" The little girl flicked her wrist, and the Fire Spear appeared in her hand.
A series of wretched screams followed as she tormented Dian She relentlessly.
Dian She now lay on the ground, completely unwilling to move or fight anymore. He could never have imagined that a mere child would possess so many Supreme Treasures. "Let me go... Please, let me go," he pleaded. Remembering his purpose, he hurriedly added, "I came to deliver a Challenge Letter! It’s not from me; it’s from Zhan Sha! It has nothing to do with me! I just didn’t explain clearly before!"
He scrambled to hand the Challenge Letter to Wu Tian, who took it, chuckled, and said, "Get lost."
The little girl thought of something amusing and chimed in, "Remember, Dad told you to get lost by rolling away. So you’d better *roll*."
Dian She wanted to cry. He had thought delivering a Challenge Letter would be an easy task, but he never expected this. He was utterly devastated. And so, Dian She began to literally roll away from Wu Tian and the others.
Along the way, the commoners who witnessed the sight burst into laughter. He had arrived so majestically on the continent, shouting defiantly before the Royal Palace, never dreaming he would be tormented into such a pathetic state by a little girl.
"Sect Leader." After Dian She was gone, Dao Feng and the others looked at Wu Tian and the little girl. In their eyes, this father-daughter duo was simply monstrously talented. They all felt a renewed desire to perform well. The thought that they too could one day have as many Supreme Treasures as the little girl was enough to make them laugh in their sleep.
