"We’re not going to falsely accuse you anymore."

"Perhaps you weren’t the one who killed them."

"That’s right."

Most of the Monarchs and Sect Leaders feared death, but some still gritted their teeth. "I’m certain you killed my son! If you have the guts, then kill me too!"

"That’s right! If you have what it takes, kill me too!"

Seeing this, Rui’er also clenched her teeth. She knew how terrifying Wu Tian was, but this time, she had to succeed. "Is there no justice left in this world?" she cried out.

Stirred by Rui’er, the other Monarchs and Sect Leaders thought of their own dead sons and daughters, and their eyes turned blood-red. The people who had died were the ones most important to them. The murderer... had to be Wu Tian! Whether or not he was the actual killer, the culprit was definitely connected to him.

Wu Tian had to give them an explanation.

A Sect Leader from a Three-Star Power stepped forward, sneering through clenched teeth. "Queen Si’er, we came here hoping Wu Tian would give us an explanation, not to be coerced by his power. A truth obtained by force is no truth at all."

"He’s right!"

"The mighty cannot make us yield!"

"Even if we die, we will have the truth from Wu Tian!"

Where one led, others followed. Spurred on by Rui’er, the Monarchs and Sect Leaders began to pressure Si’er one after another.

Pressure Wu Tian directly? That would be difficult.

Si’er said, "You want to hold a public trial for my teacher, but you should know that a so-called public trial might not yield the answers you seek."

A Sect Leader spoke up with a sneer, "Whether the murders are related to Wu Tian or not, he must give us an explanation."

"What kind of twisted logic is that?" Si’er retorted, infuriated.

"Queen Si’er, think about it," a Monarch said. "If the murders were committed by Wu Tian, he owes us an explanation. If the murders were not his doing and someone is framing him, then it still involves him. In that case, he should help us find the culprit."

"That’s right! He has to help us find out!"

"Wu Tian, no matter what, you must give us an explanation and restore order to Qiankun!"

Hearing this, Wu Tian frowned slightly.

The little fellow in his arms thought of something and whispered to Wu Tian with a smile, "I once saw a TV series about the ’Heavenly Unity Divine Water.’ It wasn’t actually stolen by Chu Liuxiang, but he was the most likely suspect, so people forced him to investigate the truth, and he did."

"Heh," Wu Tian sneered.

On what grounds?

Seeing Si’er and Wu Tian remain silent, the Monarchs and Sect Masters grew even more furious.

"Xiuyuan Country, what is the meaning of this?"

"Our sons and daughters are dead! Don’t you owe us an explanation?"

The Monarchs and Sect Masters spoke in unison as their combined auras converged above the capital of Xiuyuan Country. They refused to believe that if they all attacked together, they would be no match for Wu Tian. For all of them to strike one person was truly shameless, and they wouldn’t do it unless absolutely necessary. However, they released their auras in unison as a clear warning.

Secretly delighted, one Monarch sneered, "Wu Tian, accept our public trial. If word got out that all of us ganged up on one person, our reputations as Monarchs and Sect Masters would be ruined. So don’t push us. Just come back with us quietly for the trial."

However, the moment his words fell, his savage grin froze on his face.

The others froze as well. Wu Tian chuckled, and in an instant, the Tongxuan phenomenon descended. In broad daylight, the clear sky over Qiankun seemed to be stolen away and replaced. The sky abruptly turned pitch-black. Within the roiling dark clouds, purple lightning crackled.

Seeing this, the assembled Monarchs and Sect Masters stared at the sky, their eyes widening in shock as if they had seen a ghost.

Wu Tian turned to the Monarch who had just spoken. With a cold smile, he pointed a finger.

Suddenly, a single drop of blood fell from the sky. It was a brilliant, striking red, tearing through the Void as it descended. Before the Monarch could even sense what was happening, the drop of blood struck him. He let out a piercing scream and then vanished completely, without a trace.

"No... that’s impossible!"

"It can’t be."

This scene horrified everyone to their core. None of them had even sensed the blood drop as it fell.

Wu Tian looked over the group of Monarchs and Sect Masters and said with amusement, "You want to hold a public trial for me? You want justice? Hahaha. Heaven and Earth are unkind; they treat all of creation like straw dogs!

"That is because, in the eyes of Heaven and Earth, all beings are insignificant. And in my eyes, so are you.

"When natural disasters strike, countless people die. Do you dare to put Heaven and Earth on trial and demand justice from them?

"I am as Heaven and Earth. How dare you presume to try me? You are simply seeking death."

The faces of the Monarchs and Sect Leaders turned deathly pale as they staggered backward uncontrollably. They felt as if they had truly seen a ghost. In that moment, Wu Tian seemed to have become Heaven and Earth itself.

To oppose Heaven and Earth? What was that if not seeking death?

Their hearts trembled with fear.

Wu Tian, however, simply smiled.

Seeing her opportunity, Si’er adopted her queenly demeanor and shouted with authority, "That is enough! This is my kingdom. The murders happened in your lands, so you should be the ones to investigate."

"But..." one of the Monarchs stammered.

"But what?" Si’er cut him off, scoffing coldly. "Don’t tell me you couldn’t find a single clue. You call yourselves Kings and Sect Masters, yet if you lack even this basic competence, then this Queen has to wonder if making you leaders was the gravest mistake your elders ever made."

Her words made the faces of the Monarchs and Sect Masters burn with shame and anger.

In Wu Tian’s arms, the little fellow snickered, "Looks like she struck a nerve."

The Monarchs and Sect Masters were at a loss for words. They had long known they weren’t cut out to be Kings or Sect Masters. When handling the affairs of their nations or sects, they often felt completely overwhelmed.

"Heh. So, when you failed to investigate, you decided to put me on trial instead? To just pin the crime on my head?" Wu Tian’s tone was chilling. "Or perhaps... you want me to find the real murderer for you? I have only one question: on what grounds?"

With each word that left his lips, a drop of blood fell from the pitch-black Firmament. Within the dark clouds, purple lightning surged, booming like celestial war drums that made the hearts of the Kings and Sect Masters pound violently in their chests.

THUMP! THUMP! THUMP!

The pounding was so intense they were forced to stand perfectly still. The slightest movement sent a pain so agonizing through their chests that they felt they would die. They could only stand frozen in place as, drop by drop, the blood-like rain began to fall.

"No!"

"Don’t!"

As the bloody rain touched them, the bodies of the Kings and Sect Masters burst apart. A frenzy of Blood Mist permeated the Void. It was a bloody, chilling sight.

AAAAAH!

Piercing screams echoed across the land. In the blink of an eye, many of them had exploded and died. The horror of the scene was beyond measure, leaving the survivors in a state of utter shock.

Seeing this, Rui’er knew that if this continued, their defeat was certain. She shrieked, "Even if you kill us all, people will find out about the serial murders!"

Rui’er’s words jolted the other surviving Monarchs and Sect Masters. They shouted in unison, "That’s right! Killing us won’t stop the news from spreading! Doing this will only convince everyone that you are the murderer!"

"Indeed! So... so you can’t kill us."
