"Your resistance will not take you anywhere," Doom shouted as it landed a fist at Taranis’s face, breaking his jaw with a sickening crack, trying to free itself from his iron grip. The impact sent shockwaves through Taranis’s skull, his vision swimming. "Just give up and become my slave. You have no chance of defeating me."
Bam!
Bam!
Bam!

Bam!
Each punch Doom landed broke the bones of Taranis’s face further, the blood and bones becoming visible through the torn flesh, leaving him completely unrecognisable. Yet Taranis did not let go of its arm. He knew if he did, he would be left in the Cosmic Corridor and might be thrown into any part of the endless cosmos with no method to return.
Doom clenched its fist again, but before it could attack this time, Taranis blocked it, grabbing the punch with his regenerated arm. The bones of his face begun returning to normal, the fragments shifting and knitting together, the skin mending across the broken structure.
"As long as I live... there are infinite chances," Taranis muttered, slamming his head in a headbutt. The impact was brutal, a collision of skull and bone that sent a shockwave through the void.
The impact broke the dimension again, and the two tumbled out from the warping space, rolling across the dark grey surface in opposite directions.
"Cough... cough..." Taranis rose to his feet, holding his stomach where he had taken the planetary level attack of Doom. The wound burned with a cold, necrotic fire.
His shirt was blown away, a deep purple bruise with venom like veins spreading from it left at the centre of his abs. Even with his high regeneration, the wound was taking time to heal, the corruption of Doom’s power fighting against his yang energy. He looked at his surroundings, his eyes widening from the scenery. The land was dark grey with dirt ice covering the upper layer, how far the eyes could see. Various craters were spread across the land with irregular pillars of grey stone stood at irregular intervals.
As Taranis stood face to face with Doom, with a distance of around hundred metres between them, behind them most of the dark sky was dominated by a massive brown planet with layers of orange and white clouds and a massive red spot visible on the planet.
In just a few seconds of warping through the Cosmic Corridor, they had appeared on Callisto, one of the ninety five known moons of Jupiter. The battle had carried them far beyond the boundaries of Earth, into the heart of the solar system itself.
Taranis walked forward in an unreadable visage, spitting out blood, his jaw set with grim determination, while Doom moved forward from the other side, its single eye fixed on him with predatory focus. The distance between them closed with each step, the frozen ground of Callisto crunching beneath their feet.
Slowly, both of them broke into a sprint, their hands clutching into fists. Taranis’s wings spread behind his back as he rose into the air before descending upon Doom sharply, his wings contracting, his body becoming a spear of light. Doom launched its own fist toward him in response. Although it had greater strength, higher speed, and more destructive power, there was one thing Taranis excelled at.
Hand to hand combat.
Amidst the air, Taranis twisted his body, his kick striking the arm in an uppercut that Doom had thrown at him, deflecting the blow, while he struck his other kick directly at its chest, the yang energy channeling through his legs striking Doom in a rippling wave of power. Its feet staggered backward, its balance breaking.
Taranis did not let this opportunity pass. He instantly appeared before Doom, releasing a barrage of yang blazing fists. Doom launched its own destructive fists in response, but Taranis dodged them by a hair’s breadth thanks to his Divine Sense, while his own fists landed with rippling explosions on Doom’s body, each strike as brutal as the Galactic Punch.
Boom!
Boom!
Boom!
The impact sent ripples through the surface of Callisto, cracks of spider webs spreading outward with a deep crater appearing from the strikes, shaking the entire moon. The ground beneath them groaned and splintered, the frozen crust giving way under the relentless assault.
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!" Taranis roared, his eyes rolling back while the speed and prowess behind his attacks only increased, far beyond the strength his body possessed. He was no longer the hero fighting the invader to protect Earth, but the father who would go to any lengths to feel the warmth of his unborn child.
The counter strikes of Doom slowed before stopping altogether as Taranis’s booming fists continued striking every part of its body. Cracks spread across its purple shell, with dark violet liquid splattering out from its mouth, the creature’s form buckling under the onslaught.
When Taranis finally stopped, nearly half of the moon was obliterated from his strikes, terrains falling in the distance with land split to the core. The surface was a ruin of chasms and floating debris.
As for Doom itself, half of its torso, both its arms, and one part of its skull were completely crushed, layers of darker liquid trickling down across its body.
In front of it, Taranis stood with the dark and white comets of his eyes flickering as exhaustion was taking over him.
"I already told you..." Doom said in a mocking tone, its broken body regenerating from what should have been utterly impossible. The purple bubbles of regrowth swirled across the wounds. "I have marked you with death. I cannot die until I kill you. That is my destiny."
Taranis’s eyes widened as Doom had completely healed as if it was not even injured to begin with. The wings behind his back spread, his feet leaving the surface in an attempt to create distance between them. But before he could, Doom grabbed his wings from behind and slammed him into the ground with a booming impact, the moon splitting into two from the sheer force. Blood gushed out from Taranis’s mouth as he felt all of his bones shatter, a symphony of cracks echoing through his body.
"You too should stop defying your destiny," Doom said, rising its one hand beside its head, its jagged mouth forming a wide smirk. "Just die."
It swayed its hand forward.
With the movement of its hand, in the distant endless space, a star became visible, its glow only expanding with each passing moment. Or more accurately, it was coming towards them.
As it reached closer, its surface becoming clearer, Taranis realised it was not a star but the neighbouring moon of Callisto, Ganymede, hurtling through space, descending upon him.
Doom had thrown an entire moon at him with the sway of its hand.
