Reversed Parallel World‘s Messiah

1 Story Invitation to Kyoto Capital

Mr. Mio visited Mr. Irene's mansion.

It is unusual for Mio, who lives in the capital of Kyo, to visit Blossom.

After all, it's a little far away, because there are immigration procedures and so on.

Of course, it's easy for people from Kyoto, who are important business partners, to get into this country. Still, it's not a bit of a hassle.

"So, what's going on today?

I ask Mio, who sat on the reception couch.

Next to me are Mr. Irene and Mr. Edith, in the form of the three of us facing Mr. Mio.

"I just had some errands coming this way. I thought about it."

Following our gaze, Mr. Mio spoke loosely. And go on with the words.

"Tomo was interested in my country. I took it, I mean, remember. Well, if you're here, yeah, do it."

That's what I said. She looks at us three again.

"You guys, come to my country if you like. Hey?

"To the capital of Kyo, is it?

At Mio's invitation, I paid a little visit.

To see her outfit and the trinkets she showed me before, Kyoto's capital is a country with a Japanese-style culture.

I originally lived in Japan, naturally I am concerned.

Nevertheless, there's no reason to decide alone. I moved my gaze in turn to the two people sitting next to me. [M]

Mr Edith, I guess it fits Mr Irene's intentions.

With that in mind, Mr. Irene still opened his mouth.

"Thank you for inviting me. But is it okay to go all of a sudden?

"Kamaheen Kamaheen. The ship, the inn, we'll be ready in no time. You'll be fine if you just keep up the journey."

"That's amazing."

Mr. Edith squeaks next door.

Turning her gaze, she explained to me.

"The capital of Kyoto is an important country. So naturally, it's easy to get here from the other side."

I heard that before. [M] Even ordinary merchants are treated as national guests when they come from the capital.

"It's not impossible to go from here to the capital. But if that's an invitation from Mio, that's not the point."

Mr. Mio is the daughter of such an important figure in the capital of Kyo. Mr. Irene was originally a nobleman, and as far as Mr. Edith is concerned, the Queen's daughter, but Mio says he's a big shot from both of them.

I'm totally used to it, but when I think about it like this, I feel like I'm in a pretty amazing place.

"Tomo-kun feels... intrigued. Let me ask you a favor."

To Mr. Irene's words, Mr. Mio nodded forcefully.

"All right, that's settled. You guys are ready."

When she said pleasantly, she gave instructions to the person accompanying her.

Mio himself is going with us to the capital of Kyo, but he wants us to tell him about it one step away.

"Shall we get ready soon?"

"Right, sister"

Ms Edith nods at Ms Irene's suggestion.

Each of us took on a sudden journey.

Meet Clarice, a fighter who lives in the same mansion, and get ready quickly. We'll go back to Mr. Mio.

Looks like Mr. Irene and Mr. Edith are still going to need a little more preparation.

"Well, what women are more prepared for is that they have no choice."

"Yeah, you are!...... yeah?

Clarice nodded forcefully, tilting her neck. Seems to have questioned my speed of preparation.

Looks like she was getting ready faster than I was. Or almost no luggage.

Notice my gaze, she declared well.

"I'm used to traveling! I don't have a lot of baggage."

"It is."

Sure, she could have been a light outfit too when we first met.

Lightness also fits the image of a traveling fighter.

"Looking forward to seeing what strong enemies you have"

"No, that's not the journey..."

"Shit, no one's too strong to do that. The capital of Kyoto flourished in trade. If you're arming, it's a big deal."

"Really..."

Clarice, who had feelings for a powerful enemy he had yet to see, seems to have finally calmed down.

Just in time, Mr. Irene and Mr. Edith came back ready too.

"Thank you for waiting, Tomo-kun"

Their baggage is bigger than mine. After all, I guess a lot of things are needed.

Though I was slightly surprised by the amount, Mio didn't have any particular doubts, and naturally proceeded.

"Here, let's go."

Our baggage is transported to the carriage by Mr. Mio's men.

Following that, we'll board the carriage as well.

The carriage that Mio came in is extravagant, so there's plenty of room for more people and luggage.

Me, Mr. Irene, Mr. Edith, Clarice, and the five of you who invited me to the capital of Kyo.

A carriage carrying us runs out.

"To get to the capital, you must first go to the harbor and take the boat."

Mr. Mio explains to me that he's hardly ever been anywhere but Blossom and the center.

"Ship, is it"

"Tomo-kun, have you never been on a boat?

I nodded at Mr. Irene's inquiry.

Even in Japan, where I was, I had been on a plane, but never on a boat.

As I explored the memories, Mr. Edith deliberately made a serious face.

"Then, Master Tomo, you should be ready, right?

"Hey, what...?

I'm easily upset by Mr. Edith's threatening words. Mindful of my reaction, she continued in an even more playful manner.

"Ships are drunk for some people..."

"Oh, speaking of which, you've heard."

But I've never been motion sickened, and I'll be fine.

In fact, even this carriage is very shaky compared to an automobile or something. But I'm used to it.

"Oh? That's a lot of room."

"Yeah. I've never had motion sickness or anything."

Mr. Edith gave me the look of a clap. [M]

"Really? But if you're about to get seasick, come to me."

"Do you have any measures?

Mr. Edith grinned at me when he asked.

"Yes. They say you should eat spicy food for seasickness. We have a lot of them, so make sure you don't need them, okay? I'll give it to Tomo's mouth. Oh, ho, ho."

"Oh, I'll be careful not to..."

I made a firm vow not to get seasick in front of Edith, who was supposed to be worried.

"Really? At our place, they say yes when you bite the grass."

That's what I say, Mr. Mio pinches his mouth.

The capital of Kyoto is a much more moderate way...

"Really? Oh, then you'll be fine as long as you keep chewing on the spicy stuff, Tomo."

"I don't know about that..."

I'm more anxious about Mr. Edith than I am about seasickness. I feel like I'm choosing a strict method, but it's basically even more difficult to be good intentions.

"Is Clarice used to sailing?

That's what Mr. Irene asks.

"Yeah! I'm used to swimming across!

"Swim across...?

I don't think Mr. Irene is familiar with swimming as a means of mobility rather than play. No, I don't either.

"I don't know, rigid. How many rivers can you swim across?

To Mio's inquiry, Clarice thought,

"If you can see the other shore, you'll be fine!

and answered cheerfully.

It sounds easy, but this feeling isn't what we know of modern Japan. In the case of the Pitty River, there are many kilometers. It's never an easy distance to swim.

Mr. Mio, who heard the answer, also had his eyes round.

With such interaction, the sea approaches.

Upon reaching the port, the carriage carefully slowed down and stopped.

Finally, I'll be on my first ship of my life.
