Rice for Enoch’s Second Expeditionary Unit
Three kinds of leftover bread
The Second Expeditionary Force, active in the last Slime incident, was awarded the "Merit One Star Chapter".
This is not a badge-shaped item, but a shoulder tag to be worn in a knight's uniform.
One silver star is embroidered on a gold mall string. Since it has been a rugged shoulder chapter so far, I think it has gotten pretty cool.
Yeah, yeah. Surprisingly, the medal was decent for Amelia, too.
An embroidered leather belt with a single silver star. It was a bracelet and I was happy to put it on you.
When I heard the story later, they said the captain was talking to me upstairs.
It's the last time I apologized for thinking in my heart about being scared of my face or looking like a bad guy face.
During the morning ceremony, I had a look of respect for the captain, and suddenly, I was starting to fish for paperwork.
"Captain, what's wrong?"
If Urgas asks, a captain excavates a piece of paper from a pile of paperwork.
There, it is called "Knights Sponsored and Charitable Bazaar". With the main purpose of interaction between citizens and knights, sales are said to be donated in full to orphanages, etc.
Look at the date. The date is - tomorrow!?
Urgas also seems to have noticed and asks gratuitously.
"Wow, Captain, this, maybe"
"Oh, my squad has to open stores too"
Yeah ~. Such a lame gesture.
That said, they've been getting notifications for eight months.
"After I get the paperwork, I won't have a choice because I have a sudden assignment in"
I mean, when I got back from the expedition, he totally forgot.
There is one event every year, but it seems that the various troops were turning around in order to open the store. He said it was Squad Two's turn this year.
"Captain, what do we do?
Captain to be questioned by Deputy Berley in a harsh voice. Leaks a muddled and distressed voice.
Mr. Zara glitched the proposal out of the captain's hands.
"Oh, it says here that the merchandise to be sold is handmade, and on the extra budget of the troops."
"What!? That's what happened last time..."
If you thought the circular eight months ago was too early, you seemed to have a reason.
Mr. Gull puts the troops' books on the executive desk. When you roll the page, the wrinkles between the captain's eyebrows can be pulled over.
Apparently, they can't afford your budget.
"It's always been the budget that's critical, but what... this, what's the high cost of repairs?
Mr. Gull tells the details. The repair cost was broken by the captain the other day, the cost of repairing the door.
Even though it's a locked room, if you twist the handle without realizing it and hit your body, destroy the door hinge (a little connection). Wooden doors also cracked and became unusable due to distortion.
I got a cold gaze from the crew, Captain Tajiroku.
"Well, what, I'm sorry..."
Mr. Zara makes a suggestion here. I just need to do something that won't cost you anything.
"What is the offering?
"Like playing an instrument?
The captain speaks low and asks if anyone has a musical appetite.
Sin and quiet back indoors.
Leezelotte felt like she could do something, but unfortunately she wasn't interested.
"Oh, my God, it's just me."
Oh, my God, the captain said he could play the instrument.
No. I can't imagine you playing at all. Apparently your noble son learns a good percentage in his childhood. It's an elegant taste.
"Well, tomorrow's the captain's solo concert."
Problem solved. Good. I was telling him I was glad, but he said, "Not good!" The captain shouts.
"The instrument, I haven't touched it in over a decade, makes it miserable"
But if I played hard, a kind person might put in some change for me.
Everyone in the second unit also promised to watch from afar, with raw warm eyes.
"You guys... what a terrible thing..."
That's about it to bully the captain, and I take it seriously.
"Speaking of easy things to make, biscuits and all, but you smelled so sweet in front of the girls' dorm in the morning."
"Oh, you did"
I'm sure the female knights are baking biscuits for the bazaar.
Biscuits sold by the women and biscuits sold by the captain. If I were to buy it, it would be the former.
"Is it a matter of decision that I'm going to be the store number?"
"If the captain can cook, we'll talk about it."
To Zara's point, Captain Woo.
A seemingly leaselotte makes a suggestion.
"Then let the Marquis (our) confectioners make something?
"No, if you serve a treat that looks too good, you'll find out you cheated"
"So is that, though."
Reminds me to say so. He said it was time to replace the troop food.
Here, I tried to suggest something that came to mind.
"Um, what about selling sugar stewed (mermelada) or smoked in bread with an approaching shelf life deadline?
I can still eat enough, and I'm not freaking out about the flavor, but I've set my shelf life ahead of time.
"Bread..."
"Yes, I was wondering if there was any novelty in using what I was eating on the expedition."
"Okay. Let's do that."
Once the food to be listed is determined, each task can be sorted.
Me and Mr. Zara, Vulgas and Deputy Berry bake. Amelia for backup.
Mr. Gal and Lieselotte make shop signs.
I hear the captain has to go to the meeting now. It was unanimous and we talked about getting the store number on the same day.
Here, we talked about what to do with the name of the store.
Second, I'll name the store that came to mind.
"Bandit Workshop or something."
"Why not!
It was immediately rejected by the captain. Bandit dishes sold by bandits. Though I thought it would fit.
"Then, like the Eagle Lion (Griffon) Hall?
This is Lieselotte's opinion.
"Rejected because phantom beast protection is about to arrive"
"You're selfish!
The captain was asking Urgas if there was anything.
"Uh-huh, bandit, no... uh-huh, bandit"
"Get away from the bandits"
Looks like Urgas's head is also full of bandits.
This is not how it is decided.
Finally, Mr. Gull relied on me in times of trouble.
You're thinking something, shaking your tail like a pat.
Decades later, the captain immediately adopted the salad and what was written on the paper.
- Enoch 2nd Squad Expedition Dinner
I thought it would be perfect because it's usually the bread we make from the food we eat on the expedition.
That's right, Mr. Gull.
◇ ◇ ◇
Everyone seemed to think the same way, and every kitchen was in use.
Different things are being made in preparation for tomorrow's charity bazaar.
Usually, you won't cook, you'll rarely see the knight's uncles and brothers hang aprons to cook.
That's why our baking team moves.
On our way, the captain's house. There's a big one, so I decided to borrow it.
To Maria, a former nanny of a long time captain, and Tony, a gardener. He welcomed us all of a sudden. There was another one, more servants. He's a tall, young man. In the opinion of the captain's fiancée, Melina, you think you've hired a new one?
"If you'd like, can I help you?
"Wow, thank you"
That's why I start baking by adding Maria to me and Deputy Captains Zara, Urgas and Berry.
Natural yeast takes time to ferment, so I bought regular yeast.
Weigh the ingredients and pinch the dough.
During the primary and secondary fermentation everyone cleaned the captain's house.
Once the fabric is finished, stretch flat. Then add the excess fruit sugar stew (Mermelada), stir-fried nuts, smoked pork, etc. by type and roll the dough so that it wraps around.
The dough wrapped around the utensils is cut into rings, arranged on an iron plate and cooked for about twenty minutes, and it is complete.
Bread baked one after the other. A fragrant smell drifts through the house.
Just in case, we all tasted it.
First, from the bread of the sugar stew of the fruit (Mermelada).
"The apples (mela) are shaky and delicious."
"Oh, this would make little kids like it too"
Have Lieutenant Berley push his heartbeat.
Next, bread with fried nuts.
"Nuts, you're a little stiff"
"It will be a jaw exercise"
Eat with ballin bolin and sound. Urgas said it was delicious.
Finally, bread with square-cut cheese and smoked pork.
"This is definitely delicious"
"It's going to be the best seller"
Also admired by Zara. You would have been right to make more.
I'm relieved Maria said it was delicious, too.
With these three types of bread, we challenge the charity bazaar.
Will the captain's strong customer service sell the bread?
It is exciting.
