"Going to the shop this early? There shouldn’t be many people at this hour."

’Who in their right mind drinks milk tea first thing in the morning?’

Most milk tea shops don’t even open until ten.

"I’m just going to check on things. It won’t interfere with anything. I’ll be back before class starts."

Although Qin Sitong was keen on making money, she would never neglect her studies. She knew how to set her priorities.

"Alright, but you have to wait for me next time."

’Though who knows when ’next time’ will be.’

"Okay, okay, I’ll definitely wait for you next time. Class is starting, the professor is here."

Qin Sitong straightened up in an instant.

After two back-to-back classes, a total of ninety minutes, Yun Zijin’s phone rang.

The caller ID read: Chen Xianfeng.

Yun Zijin hadn’t expected that of all the Xia family’s shareholders, Chen Xianfeng would be the first one to contact her.

’I thought the Xia family father and son would be the first to lose their cool. Or at the very least, Li Haichuan, who holds the fewest shares, would be more anxious.’

’But in the end, it was Chen Xianfeng who came knocking first.’

"What’s wrong?"

Seeing Yun Zijin stop in her tracks, Qin Sitong asked, puzzled.

"I need to take this call."

Yun Zijin found a deserted corner and swiped to answer the call.

"Hello."

"Chairman Yun, this is Chen Xianfeng. We met at the shareholders’ meeting."

For a man in his forties like Chen Xianfeng to be using such respectful language with a twenty-one-year-old like Yun Zijin, anyone who overheard would be utterly shocked.

"Of course, I remember."

’It hasn’t been that long. If I couldn’t even remember that, I’d need to go to a hospital to get my memory checked.’

"Chairman Yun, you mentioned before that we could discuss the matter of the shares with you. I was wondering if that offer still stands?"

Chen Xianfeng didn’t beat around the bush and got straight to the point.

"Of course. If you’re interested, Mr. Chen, we can schedule a time to meet."

Yun Zijin wasn’t afraid of Chen Xianfeng trying to pull a fast one; after all, the bodyguards she had weren’t just for show.

"Of course! When would be a good time for you, Chairman Yun?"

Receiving Yun Zijin’s affirmative reply, Chen Xianfeng’s heart leaped with excitement.

"Two o’clock this afternoon at the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop near Dijing University. How does that sound, Mr. Chen?"

Yun Zijin didn’t want to go anywhere else, so she suggested the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop directly.

As for the possibility of being overheard or photographed, Yun Zijin didn’t care.

The ones most wary of the shares in her hands should be the Xia family father and son.

If they didn’t approach her to buy the shares, Yun Zijin wouldn’t go looking for them.

In any case, Yun Zijin didn’t care at all whose hands those shares ultimately ended up in.

"No problem! I’ll head over right now. I guarantee I’ll be on time!"

With that, Chen Xianfeng hung up the phone and had his car prepared to head to the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop.

After finishing the call, Yun Zijin walked back over to Qin Sitong. "Let’s go. Time for lunch."

Yun Zijin didn’t bring up the content of the call, and Qin Sitong was tactful enough not to ask. She just nodded, and they walked down the stairs side by side, then waited for the campus shuttle at the bus stop.

Before long, the campus shuttle came swaying over. The two of them boarded, one after the other, swiped their campus cards, and got off at the cafeteria stop.

"It’s been a while since we ate at the cafeteria. Are there any new dishes lately?"

"They added braised fish. Nothing else, I think."

’Vegetable dishes are whatever, but the meat dishes are the main event.’

’Braised fish...’

Yun Zijin liked eating fish, but she hated picking out the bones.

In the end, Yun Zijin gave up on the braised fish and chose the braised pork ribs instead.

After lunch at the cafeteria, Yun Zijin went back to Jade Lake for a nap, while Qin Sitong headed to the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop.

At 1:30 in the afternoon, Yun Zijin set out from Jade Lake and arrived at the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop.

When Yun Zijin got there, Chen Xianfeng had already arrived. A cup of Wangyou Milk Tea sat on the table in front of him.

Chen Xianfeng had just checked his watch, feeling that it was almost time for his appointment with Yun Zijin. He looked up toward the entrance of the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop, spotted her immediately, and quickly stood up.

"Chairman Yun!"

Yun Zijin walked over and stood opposite Chen Xianfeng. "Good afternoon, Mr. Chen."

"Good afternoon! I didn’t expect you to know about a hidden gem of a milk tea shop like this, Chairman Yun."

Chen Xianfeng didn’t know that the Wangyou Milk Tea Shop was opened by Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong, but judging by his words, he had clearly already tried the Wangyou Milk Tea.

"It’s decent. A friend of mine opened it."

Since Chen Xianfeng didn’t know the truth, Yun Zijin decided to just go along with it.

"So it was opened by a friend of yours, Chairman Yun!"

Now Chen Xianfeng was truly surprised. He hadn’t expected Yun Zijin to have such a unique friend.

To be honest, after taking just one sip of the Wangyou Milk Tea, Chen Xianfeng felt as if he had been transported back to his childhood.

But he quickly snapped out of it, not letting himself get lost in the feeling.

Still, Chen Xianfeng silently decided that this milk tea shop would now be on his radar. He would probably become a frequent customer in the future.

"If you like it, Mr. Chen, you can come by more often."

Yun Zijin said with a smile.

Having captured another loyal fan for Wangyou Milk Tea, Yun Zijin was quite pleased.

"I will."

Chen Xianfeng did indeed like it. "But let’s get back to business. Chairman Yun, you must know why I asked to meet you today."

Yun Zijin straightened her posture. "Of course. But what are you offering, Mr. Chen?"

The base price for the shares was 500 million per percentage point, but there was no way Yun Zijin would sell to him for a price less than or equal to 500 million.

She had already made that point very clear during the shareholders’ meeting.

"The Xia family’s stock has plummeted, and its market value is nowhere near what it used to be. I’m sure you’re aware of this, Chairman Yun."

"And so?"

’Old fox. Is he trying to lowball me?’

’Does he think I’m young and easy to fool?’

"A price of 500 million per point... isn’t that a bit too high?"

"Mr. Chen, I don’t do business at a loss. If you’re not sincere, then we can end this meeting right here."

’It’s not like I have to sell the shares to them. If he pisses me off, I’ll just bundle them up and sell them off cheap to someone else.’

’By then, if they want to buy the shares from someone else, they’ll find that person isn’t as easy to deal with as me.’

"Wait! Chairman Yun, don’t be so hasty. We can still negotiate the price."

Chen Xianfeng was only testing the waters. If it didn’t work, he naturally wouldn’t insist on that price.

"Six hundred million per point. You can think it over, Mr. Chen."

Yun Zijin had directly raised the price by 100 million per point. Chen Xianfeng nearly coughed up blood from anger.

’A newborn calf fears no tiger. She really dares to raise the price.’

’One hundred million per point? Why doesn’t she just go rob a bank!’

"Chairman Yun, I understand you don’t want to do business at a loss, but you can’t just jack up the price on the spot."

There was no way he could possibly accept this price.

"How many points are you looking to buy? If you’re buying a lot, I wouldn’t mind giving you a discount."

In any case, Yun Zijin was planning to get rid of all 41% of the shares and had no intention of keeping any.

"Five points. I’ll give you an extra one million per point. You won’t be losing out, and it won’t put too much pressure on my end."

’An extra five million for five points. He’s not much to look at, but he sure has an overactive imagination.’
