Chapter 263: Mr. Lu Is a Love Brain
Having been publicly snubbed by Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong, Ren Hui and Li Cui didn’t look too pleased.
Then, the two of them shot each other a glare before each moving one seat over.
Their relationship wasn’t as good as it used to be.
This chaotic scene certainly woke up the surrounding students.
However, Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong paid no mind to the subtle atmosphere in the classroom. They casually flipped through their textbooks for the class until the bell rang and the professor entered.
Class had started, so there was no more drama to watch. The other students gradually turned their attention to the lecture.
During the two consecutive 40-minute classes, both Yun Zijin and Qin Sitong were getting drowsy. They barely managed to stay awake until the dismissal bell finally rang.
They only had these two classes today, so Yun Zijin planned to go straight to the Lu Group to find Lu Yunque after class.
"I’m heading to the Lu Group in a bit. Where are you going? Do you want me to give you a ride?"
Even though she had business with Lu Yunque, Yun Zijin still wanted to drop Qin Sitong off wherever she needed to go first.
"It’s fine. I’m just going to drop my books off at the dorm. You can go on ahead."
Qin Sitong knew Yun Zijin was definitely going to the Lu Group to see Lu Yunque, so she didn’t want to get in the way of the little couple’s date.

Yun Zijin glanced discreetly in the direction of Ren Hui and Li Cui’s seats.

They left the academic building together. Yun Zijin still had Qin Sitong get in the car and drove her to the entrance of her dorm before heading toward the campus gate.

Even if it wasn’t her boyfriend, having a best friend like that was enough to make anyone die of envy.
Besides, boyfriends might break up with you, but a true best friend is forever.

Yun Zijin had no idea that the news of her arrival at the Lu Group had spread like wildfire the moment she entered the elevator.
The elevator quickly reached the top floor, and Yun Zijin stepped out.
A sharp-eyed secretary spotted Yun Zijin and quickly greeted her, "Miss Yun!"
Hearing "Miss Yun," the others all looked up. When they saw it was Yun Zijin, they greeted her one after another.

His originally cold gaze instantly softened. "Why didn’t you call me? I would have come down to get you."
Lu Yunque stood up, walked over to Yun Zijin, and pulled her into his arms.
"This is... a surprise inspection. What if our incredibly charming Mr. Lu is hiding some other woman away... Mmph!"
Lu Yunque couldn’t stand hearing such words and immediately silenced the rest of her sentence with a kiss.
After a long moment, he finally let her go, but his hands remained on her waist.
"That’s your punishment for talking nonsense."

Yun Zijin turned her head away haughtily, pushed Lu Yunque away, and sat down on the office sofa.
Lu Yunque followed and sat down beside her, his hand persistently finding its way back to her waist.

Lu Yunque was well aware of the capabilities of Mei Lin and the bodyguards under Yun Zijin’s command. If he really dared to hide someone, he’d be exposed in minutes.
