Watching the big fella work, he was really putting his back into it. The shovel in his hands was a blur of motion.

After watching for a while, Fang Chenyi noticed that Vajra hadn’t stopped for even a moment. ’Seriously,’ he thought, ’this big guy is really cut out for manual labor.’

The people nearby seemed to have grown accustomed to Vajra’s presence. Not only were they unafraid, but they actually got along quite harmoniously with him.

’Heh heh, this guy is just so intelligent. I feel like aside from not being able to talk, he’s no different from a person.’

Seeing how happily the big fella was working, Fang Chenyi decided not to disturb him. The work here would be done in two hours anyway, which was just enough time for him to go and check in with Professor Wu.

So, he told Wei Yilong to bring Vajra to find him after the work was done, then took Qi Xiaotian to see Professor Wu.

Professor Wu wasn’t at the construction site. He was in his temporary office, studying the blueprints.

When Fang Chenyi entered, the old professor was wearing a pair of reading glasses, head down, scribbling and drawing on the blueprints.

Upon seeing Fang Chenyi, Professor Wu shot up excitedly. Before Fang Chenyi could even offer a few pleasantries, the old professor had already pulled him over to a desk piled high with all sorts of blueprints.

He then started throwing one technical question after another at Fang Chenyi.

It had to be said, the blueprints Fang Chenyi had provided were simply too advanced. There were many parts that Professor Wu couldn’t quite wrap his head around, so he had diligently noted them all down. Now that Fang Chenyi was here, he certainly wasn’t going to let this opportunity slip by.

Fang Chenyi gave a helpless, wry smile. The old professor was just too dedicated.

For the next while, Fang Chenyi began answering Professor Wu’s questions one by one. If anyone had walked in right then, they would have absolutely thought Fang Chenyi was giving Professor Wu a lecture.

It just felt like a complete role reversal between this particular student and teacher.

Just as he was explaining a novel concept of wind-proofing for skyscrapers to Professor Wu, a series of excited calls from Vajra suddenly came from the door.

Hearing the sound, Professor Wu instinctively stood up, hurried to the door, and with a CLICK, bolted it shut.

Watching Professor Wu’s actions, Fang Chenyi couldn’t help but look confused, not understanding what was going on.

Especially when he saw Professor Wu let out a long sigh of relief after locking the door, he became even more certain that something must have happened between him and Vajra. It was highly likely that Vajra had come in before and destroyed some of the professor’s things.

"Professor Wu, what was that about?"

Professor Wu, who was patting his chest, froze for a moment when he heard Fang Chenyi’s question. Then he shook his head with a wry, helpless smile and said:

"Sigh, didn’t you hear? Vajra’s back."

Fang Chenyi nodded, indicating that he had heard. Then he pointed at the locked door, his expression still quizzical.

Seeing this, Professor Wu gave another wry smile.

"That guy is just too smart for his own good. The day before yesterday, I don’t know who taught him that he needs to wipe himself after using the toilet. The next thing I know, he runs into my room, grabs a stack of blueprints, and uses them as toilet paper! Thankfully, they weren’t any of the important ones!"

Hearing this, both Fang Chenyi and Qi Xiaotian, who was standing nearby, couldn’t help but burst out laughing. Vajra was quite the troublemaker, running off to use Professor Wu’s blueprints as toilet paper. No wonder the professor was so cautiously guarding against the big fella.

Seeing Fang Chenyi laugh, Professor Wu couldn’t help but chuckle as well.

"Heh heh, but aside from being a little mischievous, the big guy is actually really great. Yesterday, when I went to the site, he followed behind me, pushing my little cart. And whenever he’s around and sees someone who needs help, he immediately runs over to lend a hand. Afterward, he just has to show off his well-developed biceps to you."

After listening to Professor Wu, Fang Chenyi nodded in deep agreement. The big fella really was warm-hearted, and his personality was similar to that of a teenager.

As they were talking, Vajra’s excited calls sounded from outside again. From the sound of it, he seemed to be looking for someone.

Fang Chenyi knew that Wei Yilong must have told him he was here.

To Vajra, he was the closest person in the world. There was no way the big lug wouldn’t be excited to hear he had arrived.

Amused, Fang Chenyi told Professor Wu that they could discuss any other questions over the phone. He explained that he was heading out tomorrow and had come today specifically to pick up Vajra.

At this, Professor Wu had no choice but to reluctantly unlock the door.

However, as soon as the three of them stepped out of the room, Professor Wu immediately shut the door from the outside.

Just as they came out, they saw Vajra, covered in a layer of dust, come running in from outside. The moment he saw Fang Chenyi, the big fella’s mouth split into a grin that reached his ears, and he rushed forward, arms wide open, ready to pounce.

But just as he reached Fang Chenyi, he suddenly remembered something Fang Chenyi had told him before. He froze mid-pounce, his feet stopping dead in their tracks. He immediately retracted his outstretched arms, clasped his hands together, and gave Fang Chenyi a bow.

Fang Chenyi hadn’t seen the big fella in a few days either. He reached out to pat the dust off his body and gave him a thumbs-up, praising him with a few words.

Hearing Fang Chenyi’s praise, Vajra immediately began to dance with joy.

After that, Fang Chenyi gave Wei Yilong a few more instructions, then left the construction site with Vajra. However, instead of returning to the villa, they went straight to the Chen Meng cruise ship.

’We’re setting sail tomorrow, so I’ll just leave him on the ship for the night.’

Boarding the cruise ship again, Vajra was exceptionally excited, frolicking all over the deck.

Some of the newly hired service staff were startled when they saw Vajra. In the end, Liu Yishou had to gather everyone together and have Vajra clown around for them for a while before they finally relaxed a little.

Later, when the new hires saw that Vajra got along well with every crew member on board and that everyone seemed to like him, they felt much more at ease.

After getting Vajra settled, Fang Chenyi and Qi Xiaotian drove back to the villa.

’I’m leaving tomorrow, so it’s best to have dinner with my family tonight.’

Early the next morning, with all preparations complete, Fang Chenyi and Qi Xiaotian left the villa and drove toward the cruise ship.
