Ring Ring

01 To His World

Job Ice Age.

Shiori Umeboto, a fourth-year college student, was soon swallowed up by the ravages of the public recession.

Indefinite Zero. This terrible word is no less a reality for today's poetic weave. I graduated from college without finding a place to work.

When I contacted my parents, they said, "It's okay, I'm a woman, so I can do it even if I'm not a full-time employee. From now on, look for someone to marry along with your job," she told him in a light condition and was hung up.

"Yea..."

Is that what you call a heartbroken daughter? Shiori stared at the phones out of call with a distant eye. He sounds like our parent.

I don't think that means they don't love you. However, Shiori's parents are such a lovely couple that they are embarrassed to see us, putting each other first. That's why my daughter is only second to none.

Although I feel lonely as a child, I am also glad that my parents are close. If I were to marry someone in the future, I would like to have a relationship as loving as my parents.

(Ma, I don't even have a girlfriend right now)

Shiori unloaded her phone on the bed and opened the bag she had left on the floor. My parents didn't even tell me to "come home," so I'll be looking for a job while I keep living alone.

But before that, first of all, it is a stomach. We need to do something about the belly bug that keeps ringing from now on.

When Shiori only took his wallet and room keys out of his bag, he decided to head to a convenience store nearby.

"Ugh, it's cold"

Even though spring is near, it gets cold at night. Leaving the unpopular (one-piece) apartment entrance, Shiori shrugged her neck with her hand in her pocket.

At that moment ——

"... what!?

Lighted by strong light from beneath his feet, his body swallows quickly. To such a glare, Shiori closed her eyes hard before screaming.

I wonder how long I had my eyelids closed. I felt it just like a second, and it felt like it had been about ten hours.

Shiori opened her eyes softly and asked what was going on around her. It's supposed to be the road in front of the apartment that you're used to seeing, of course. Though the sun falls and the sky is dark, exterior lights and house lights illuminate the ground, it should be such a sight.

(Me, have you gone crazy?)

Shiori blinked with a pussy. But the view in front of me remains the same.

Is the time around noon? Looking up at the sky, the bright sunlight illuminates the white clouds. The place where Shiori stood had an atmosphere such as some narrow alley, where people could be heard talking and living sounds from a little further away, although there were no people around.

(What is this? What do you mean, here... foreign?

I'll touch the wall of the house in front of me. It's a cream-coloured dirt wall, and the window frame is made of wood. The other house is made of adorable bricks. The ground was dirt, not concrete, and those on the boulevard that looked over there seemed to be cobbled.

Such an atmosphere, like an historic old city around Europe, or a city of fantasies that appears in fantasy films.

"I'm fine. Shall we calm down for a second?"

Shiori muttered to herself to encourage herself.

In the meantime, I'll review my current outfit. Black knitted ponchos, perfect skinny jeans, and brown boots bought at a winter sale.

Yeah, it stays the way it was when I left the apartment to go to the convenience store. I have my wallet in my hand, and I feel the weight of my keys in my pocket.

Yet only the scenery around has changed. What the hell is this...

Fear, and so on, Shiori began to walk towards the boulevard. Intense anxiety strikes his chest and unwittingly grips his purse.

It is from the shadow of the alley that he faces and asks what the city looks like. And a little desperate.

(You're not cosplaying around the city, are you?

Cold sweat flows down Shiori's forehead. People walking down and down the street were not wearing T-shirts, jeans, etc. A slightly old-fashioned outfit that fits the atmosphere of this city.

Shiori narrowed her eyes and tried to escape reality.

Maybe we're in the middle of shooting a fantasy movie here? And for some reason I got lost there......

But I breathe a little bit in the eyes of the store-like sign that lines the street.

(I know that letter...)

And finally, I understood the status quo.

This is not Earth.

Like him, I've tripped from the world I live in to a whole other world.
