Based in the town of Lati, we continued our march.

It took eight days to reach Fort Logra, the second bridgehead (Kisho).

The fort was originally designed not to be destroyed by the Moon Warcraft raid, so there are few places to repair it.

Once the outer wall has been fixed, it can be used immediately.

When this place is finished, you can assume that most of your preparations are done.

The last bridgehead will be near the old king's capital of the demonic kingdom.

When we fight, we go out of there and let it act as a place to get hurt or return if it becomes dangerous.

The first plan was not to build a third bridgehead, but the question of what to do with an injured dragon jockey could not be resolved.

- If you get hurt, you die there.

If that's what you say, I'm confused, and it's morale.

We decided to have a place near the battlefield where we could escape.

Having secured the journey to Fort Logra, we switched to an operation to sweep the surrounding Moon Warcraft around it.

Bring in supplies in the meantime to modify the fort so that it can be used.

The Moon Warcraft roam for now, with some range as its territory.

Exceptions exist, however. The type that doesn't have a territory called "haggling" doesn't know where to go.

The damage to the Moon Warcraft far from the path of the Yin Moon can be caused more or less by this "detachment".

We hunted the Moon Warcraft in concentric circles around Fort Logra, so we'll be fine for the moment.

"... so it's been a long vacation"

"That was good, Leon. We're in a lot of trouble from here."

Anne and the others driving the driven infantry maintain the bridge headrests and have no rest.

Driven infantry, especially capable of delivering ten or dozens of times more power than people, also carries debris that people can't get away with.

You can't even defeat the Moon Warcraft if you form a party, so there's no way they'll let you play like that.

"Can I help you with something, Mr. Ann?"

"Leon and the others, it's also their job to rest. You have to be in good health when Isa is here, so rest well when this happens."

"I see, right. It's close to the showdown, and I will."

"Yes, we will protect you here, so rest well."

Ms. Ann had a superb grin.

This bridgehead, by the way.

Though I cleaned up the surrounding moon warcraft, there are raids about once every few days.

Mostly alone, this is the work of "detachment".

If it strikes in a group, it's mostly a flying species, so it's faster for a dragon jockey to head for it than to intercept it from the ground.

Like that, it gets noisy every now and then, day and night, but we took turns enjoying the rest of the bundle.

Even so, just drinking and dashing, there's not much you can do.

I don't drink, so I just spend time with Sharazard. [M]

We were given four days, and this will be our last vacation before the showdown.

Sharazard also suffered some scratches, so he ate, slept and healed.

The second night after my vacation started.

Supplies of supplies arrived from Wang Du.

Aid and supplies from each town are once collected in the Wang capital and then transported here.

We have enough material, food, dragon bait here, but we make a lot of room.

Dragon jockeys will carry other preferences, entertainment items, letters from their families, and information about Wang Du.

Especially the people here were hungry for the latest information.

For that reason, a few of them, including me, were surrounded by dragon jockeys and asked for updates.

"... What, is it suspicious death?

"Right. The people of Wang Du were trembling that it might be an infectious disease..."

"Is it not?

"The infectious disease theory quickly subsided. Normally, a disease like that spreads from the ghetto, but this time the place falls apart. One way or another, it was a lot of damage to the wealthy, so they thought it might be for another reason."

"I see. So how many people died? Suspicious death doesn't mean a few people."

I still have trouble getting information when I'm in base that's happening in Wangdu.

"I don't know the actual number. It's not published. And there seems to be a lot of people missing, so it seems like a hundred people are crap just to be rumored."

"Are you a hundred?

"That's a lot, isn't it? That's why the whole king's capital is feeling kind of tingly right now."

"That's right. If there were so many suspicious deaths in a short period of time..."

"Yep. Some cases are unknown, some are missing, and they haven't been found yet, and maybe this is twice as many."

………………

Surprised. Pretty seriously surprised.

Wasn't the king's capital protected by Shadow?

I can't believe I'm letting Her Majesty's Shadow go until that happens.

The dragon jockey was beaten up by others and started another story.

I leave the wheel to be alone.

"... What the hell is going on in Wang Du?

I have a mission, and I just can't go back and check it out.

I know a lot of people in the Wang capital.

Mr. Rosana and Linda will also be in King's Capital right now.

Exactly. The royalty would be strictly protected, but urban areas don't either.

Is everyone all right?

When I heard about the dragon jockey, all I wanted to do was worry.
