Ryuugoroshi no Sugosuhibi

Dungeon Attack!

The disturbance caused by the distortion ended, and Kosuke successfully carried out one request after another to enter the guild. There was a lot of work the city had to do to get back to normal, and the work was understaffed, and people were looking to the Alliance for manpower.

So it wasn't just Kosuke who was busy, but all the adventurers. The person who worked the most of them is Yusuke. Sometimes his name was sold, but he had a lot of work to do simply because of his high health.

The busyness lasted about a week and just subsided. But it will take another two weeks for the city to show its original appearance.

Kosuke was accompanying Wiale to the job. It was also to stay together and see how things were going, but also to make Wiale earn money. I started taking out the guild after I found out that Wiale cared about it, with zero income in the middle of nowhere.

Wiale makes a series of mistakes to unfamiliar work. My client doesn't care about that unless it's deadly. Because I'm not paying Wiale. Kosuke sees it as a volunteer thing by saying before work that he doesn't need to pay for both of them. Volunteers could have flushed some mistakes, even if it was late for work.

What was going on with Wiale's earnings was that Yusuke was giving him half of what was paid for himself.

Because he knew he was getting paid more, Wiale went on to do supportive things, such as plugging and requesting procedures and money accounts.

Even with that kind of earning, Kosuke earned half a month in a week, so you know exactly how much work he did. From the middle of his busy schedule, Wiale was not physically fit and was just supposed to keep up with the work site. Naturally, no remuneration will be paid, but Wiale is convinced of it.

Keisuke, who has been working for a week, takes a day off and gets tired. So tired enough, Kosuke is still on his way to the guild today. People still need manpower, and even if they can afford money, it's not a relaxing atmosphere. Every day I push my back into that atmosphere and go to the guild.

Wiale can't get tired in a day and is supposed to rest today, so she's alone today.

There is a voice calling for Kosuke to enter the guild and head to a special chore request board.

"Ah, Mr. Dearness. Good morning."

"Yes, good morning"

An official who helped me when I was rubbing with Legglesparrow. He is also a senior who was coaching Wiale.

"She's not here today, is she?"

"I'm tired every day."

"Oh, I see"

I slapped my hand gently as I was convinced.

"Did you stop calling because you were concerned about Wiale?

"No, I wanted to ask you something.

Do you have any plans in three days?

"No, sir."

It's rare that I have plans, so I can answer them instantly without having to deeply recall them.

"Then I'd like you to take a joint request with Mr. Bordos."

"If it's not too dangerous, I'll take it, but what kind of request is it?

"It's a site survey. Do you know what a Zeldan ruin is three days walk from this city?

"You don't know."

"Really? Well, it's fine to recognize that there are such ruins. What kind of ruins is irrelevant to the request.

I was already thought to have been explored there, but I recently found an undiscovered spot. Before the investigation team goes there, I want you to look into the general intervals and get rid of any traps that might be there.

What do you say, can you take it?

"I've never been asked to do that, so I don't think I'm the right guy."

"Mr. Bordos has a lot of experience, and I think we'll be fine together."

I don't think Bordos alone would be more efficient then, so I think. I was wondering if maybe there's a reason I want to let myself go.

"... are you even lurking in dangerous demons?

Ask if they want the arm that knocked down the violet valve.

"Preliminary investigations don't have that kind of information."

"So the entrance is blocked with dirt and sand, so you need me to do something about it?

Then I ask him if he is doing his job as hard as usual.

"Already removed"

I have to lean my neck towards Dearness's words.

"... don't you need me to go?

"Mr. Bordos said he wanted to take you there to get you experienced.

As an Alliance, I'm glad you can do more. "

With these words, Kosuke was convinced. You want to gain experience to increase the range of jobs you can do.

Kosuke agrees, as there doesn't seem to be a shady back.

"Okay. I'll take it.

Should I ask Bordos for more information?

"Yeah, I hear you're staying at the same inn, so I think you should ask there today or tomorrow."

This was the end of Dearness's story, and Kosuke headed to the board to find work.

After sundown, after work, Kosuke returned to the inn and headed to the dining room on his feet. Hot, cheesy, scorched lasagna, consomme soap and orange sorbet for dinner today. Sometimes I work a lot and am hungry, and I think I can have a cup of rice just because of the smell that drifts.

Eat dinner deliciously, put the dishes back in, and stop your feet trying to leave the dining room.

"Bordos!"

"Hey, Koske! You had dinner, too."

"Yeah. I'm done eating.

I'll go to Bordos' room later. You have something to talk about at a joint request, don't you?

"Oh, you heard me."

"The room is the same as before?

"Same. I'm just going to eat it."

Slow down.

Speaking to Bordos heading to the counter, Kosuke returns to his room.

Having studied the letters lightly, Kosuke, ready to take a bath, left the room and headed to Bordos' room.

Knock on the door, hear the sound of getting in, then open the door.

"Sit down in bed, too.

We're gonna do a joint request, but what do you think we're gonna do?

"An investigation in the ruins says it's a trap cancellation and demonic exorcism."

"Yeah, that's fine.

I don't suppose Koske has ever received any of these requests?

"I don't. So the day was almost useless."

"I know that, so don't worry about it.

I want to buy all the tools I need, can I get some time tomorrow or the day after?

"I don't have any plans, so I'm fine"

"Then why don't we go buy it tomorrow? Do you have any money?

"I have enough to live in an inn for nearly two months for what Ellis gave me and what I earned. Is that enough?

"You can afford it. We're leaving tomorrow morning."

"Okay. Oh, no. Can you take Weale with you on this request?

I don't think you can do it, but I'll ask.

"You should stop. If Wiale wants to be an adventurer, it's different."

"You've never heard of such a story.

I just asked, and you don't have to worry about it.

Oh, one last thing. Moving is walking?

"Right. If you don't like walking, why don't you arrange a horse?

"I've never ridden a horse, so I can't. Wizards can skip time if they fly."

"Can you hold me and fly?

"I guess it's okay. When I flew with my luggage on my back, I didn't get sloppy or slow."

"Yes, no. When I was little, I had my sister carry me and I flew"

He has a nostalgic look on his face.

"We'll cross a mountain on the road, and we'll cross a river, so it's a good idea for you to use it then."

"So you're gonna use it then, okay?

"Oh, let's do that"

That concludes the story, and Kosuke heads to the bath.

And the next morning, when they had breakfast together, they went to the orphanage and told Wiale to leave the city for a while at work before putting together everything they needed.

By lunch, you'll have finished shopping, and you two can tell there. I hear Bordos has work in between now and after noon tomorrow.

Kosuke returns to the inn to put his things away. Then I tried to get to the guild, and Sidi asked me to deliver it. Paperwork delivery to Rickart. I told Sidi about two days ago that I had mastered the magic of metastasis, so I guess I thought it was just fine.

Delivery using the magic of transfer is more expensive, but neither of us knows the market, and we are convinced by both sides at the price of eight discounts. When the Alliance officials heard about it, they seemed to preach a little bit about it being too cheap.

Time flies and it will be the same day, and Yusuke and Bordos leave as planned, standing in front of the ruins.

There was nothing unusual on the road. I am able to shorten my time by more than half a day thanks to flying magic when crossing mountains and rivers.

In the midst of flying, there were things like a strong breeze and the melting Bordos cooled the liver, but otherwise the demon was only in the miscellaneous fish twice and it was a peaceful itinerary.

Yusuke hadn't pulled out his sword in about a month in that battle. Sometimes when Bordos found out about it, he wondered if he was really a colleague.

The ruins seem to be buried in a little hill, and what you two see is a part of the upper right side of the building from the whole building. Originally, the cracks caused by the earthquake made the world aware of the existence of the ruins.

Initially discovered, the rope was lowered from the crack and passed it down, but now that the years have passed, the stairs can be built and easily entered.

What we know from years of research is that this is one of those temples created to worship the world gods. It was also of historical value that there were still diaries and documents left by the people of the time. Everything that seems worthwhile and can be moved is carried away, and the adventurers recognize this place as a dead ruin. All that's left here are murals, worthless old furniture, etc.

"Are you the adventurer the Alliance contacted to investigate?

An Alliance official wearing a camp near the ruins notices the two of them and approaches them.

"Oh, I'm Bordos. This is Koske. These two are going into the investigation."

"Are you sure you want to heal the fatigue of your journey so far and that the investigation starts tomorrow?

"That's okay."

"Then I'll show you to the prepared tent, so follow me"

The two get tired in their guided tents and get ready the next morning to enter the ruins.

The temperature was several degrees below the outside in the ruins, and the air was damp. This is due to past earthquakes, where water is coming up from underground waters and flooding parts of the temple.

The entrance is bright thanks to the light coming in from the outside. But the light doesn't reach the back and it's dark.

"Is it okay to magically light it up?

"Can you ask?

Yusuke uses magic twice and lights the light around herself and Bordos. A number of grains of light are dancing, just like those previously used by the horn.

"You don't have to map this place yet, do you?

There are mapping sheets and boards in Kosuke's hand.

"All we need is where we were discovered."

Bordos walks out ahead when he hears and knows where it is.

Until we got to where we wanted to be, we never met demons or had a trap set. Yusuke could afford to look around.

In a temple with no sound, it seems to be filled with an atmosphere that prohibits it from rumbling. This was a place to remind Kosuke of the temple he had gone on a school trip.

"Right here."

"You don't feel like you've found something new."

The entrance in front of them broke the wall, but the broken fragments are nowhere. The broken part doesn't feel like it's brand new either.

"You must have cleaned it because it would get in the way of traffic.

Keep your head down from here. "

"Yeah."

The two enter the room and observe first. Even so, there was nothing unusual about it.

"There's a door to the left. Can I have something like this?

Show Bordos the sheet you wrote. Because it is possible that Bordos may have information that Yusuke doesn't understand.

"That's fine for now. But that doesn't make it definitive, so you'd better write it thinner so you can fix it."

Copy that.

The two move to the door, where Bordos knocks lightly on the door, moves just a little, and examines the area.

Find out everything. Bordos calls Kosuke.

"A trap is set on this door.

It's not malicious, it's a prank level. "

"Ugh."

"So failing to disarm doesn't do much harm.

So check it out and disarm it. "

"It's impotent!? I don't know how to disarm it. Me!?

"It'll be a good experience. If you look closely, you'll find out."

That said Bordos took a step back.

I have no choice but to sigh and Yusuke looks at the door.

I just don't know it from looking at it. I'm going to explore the door to see if I can figure out anything by imitating what Bordos was doing.

You don't know anything about touching a wooden door, it's the same if you tap it lightly, and the surrounding walls are the same again.

The rest will only be out of sight, stretching back won't reach it, so it's a waste, but flying magic floats up and looks at the top of the door.

"This, huh? Bordsou, there's a thin plate pinched, but can I move this?

"Correct. Then try -"

There was no gap to put my finger in and I wouldn't pull through, so I put the tip of my sword in and pushed it into the other side.

As soon as I got there, I heard something fall from beyond the door.

"Hey, what!?

Yusuke shivers his body and looks back at Bordos.

Bordos is calm as if he could have expected this to happen.

"Open the door and you'll see"

When I opened the door, a smaller bucket and a plate were falling on the floor. I guess he pinched a plate at the top of the door and placed a bucket on that board.

"Oh, you mean prank"?

Kids in elementary school pinch a blackboard eraser in the drawer, something similar to that.

"It's a prank level as a trap. You're amazed at the bucket that fell even when you opened the door. Hazardous liquids in the contents can be replaced by dangerous ones.

This trap has another trait, you know?

"Role?"

Yusuke leans his neck unexpectedly.

"It can also be an alarm to alert intruders."

"Ooh."

"I'll use the magic of turning off the sound as a way to deal with it, if there are other entrances and exits, I'll go that way. Is this the place?

It's a simple trap, but it's troublesome because it activates just by moving it.

Well, even this time, it's probably a demon, so it doesn't really make sense as an alarm. "

Bordos moves on, taking it easy to say that we're going to fight anyway.

Beyond the door is a second-hand divided hallway. On the right I can see one door without ten meters. The only thing left is the darkness without the light.

We're going to start by looking in the near field, and we're going right.

"There shouldn't be any traps at this door. I'll open it."

Bordos opens the door carefully. Cautious because it is also possible that you could not discover the trap.

There was no mistake in the appraisal and there was no change when I opened it.

"Well, there's nothing here."

"Next, then."

The two go out into the hallway and move on.

Bordos stopped, and Yusuke stopped.

Bordos' gaze is facing the floor.

"Pitfalls."

"Uh, if you look closely, the floor colors are different"

Sometimes dark, but Kosuke hadn't noticed this at all.

It would still have been easy to understand if it was bright, but I don't realize that I haven't cautioned against some errors when it's dark like this. Kohein is still no match for Bordos, who has experience.

When Bordos gently slammed the floor with an axe, the part he was blocking fell into the hole.

"Traps are often set in the aisles as well in this way. So don't get distracted. You got it?

"Yes."

The two move on avoiding the hole.

Now Kosuke is also keeping his mind tight.

And I discovered a rope that was caught hooking my leg, and spanned it.

At the next moment, Kosuke noticed that the floor sank a little and felt a shock in his head. Tarai is falling.

"That's a double trap. You're the first type to get caught off guard.

By the way, I'd have noticed if I'd been looking at the ceiling. "

At the tip of the finger, there are signs that Tarai was secured.

"I caught it because I just turned my attention downstairs because of the pitfalls.

We don't know where the trap is set, so we have to look at the whole thing. "

Bordos didn't call Yusuke's attention because he realized it was a non-injurious trap. I thought that if I experienced it with my own hands, I would be careful not to get caught next time.

"Kind of a place to learn a lot"

"You're lucky to learn before it matters. Let's move on."

Kosuke continues after Bordos walks out.

There is a door as soon as you turn around the corner.

"This place is locked. I'm going to open it, but the caveat in working with it is not to peek into the keyhole. It may come with needles or liquids."

Bordos takes out the hand mirror and the bent iron needle ahead, peeks into the keyhole with the mirror and puts in the iron needle.

Kacha moved the iron needle and the key opened immediately.

Kosuke opens his mouth as impressed as he was watching that.

"I don't know, Bordos. I can do a lot of things.

What a surprise? I thought you were good at fighting. "

I guess the gift of ferocity is also applauded for that assumption.

But that's the other way around. The gift of ferocity made it difficult for me to work with someone, and I needed to be able to do the whole thing.

These techniques had been taught by Ellis.

"When I became an adventurer, I didn't even have the title of survivor yet, it was dangerous and most people didn't put together.

That's why I also needed to do these traps and unlocking the keys myself, and my arms went up while I was doing it.

Well, if it's less of a fight right now, I can work with someone. "

Bordos hands over a hand mirror and an iron needle to Kosuke. A decent face, Kosuke. I don't know why they gave it to me.

"Why are you giving it to me?

"Go inside and lock it, so open it.

I don't know how to do it, but you can try to move it appropriately at first. "

Bordos went inside and sounded like he was closing the key properly.

Yusuke imitates Bordos and sticks an iron needle in the keyhole. So Fu Yusuke notices, the difference between the area around the key and the whole door. The doors and keys are old, but it felt like there was a difference in their antiquity. Flush doubt that it's your fault and start working on it.

I'm tired of moving it properly for about five minutes. There is no way that the self-righteous, who have no idea, can open it where it was properly done.

Pull out the iron needle and knock on the door.

"I gave up faster than I thought"

"I don't know the trick at all, so there's nothing I can do."

"That's true, too. Sometimes even if I do it right, it opens.

Let's borrow some practice tools at the guild when we get home. I'll show you the trick. "

"Can't you borrow it?

"I've got a whole set of tools. You can set a trap, and you can practice disarming.

All I can do is practice. The tension isn't the same as when you solve what's actually being set up.

You make unexpected mistakes in production. "

This room also writes on the sheet, and the two move on. There are basements, there are stairs, we go upstairs, we discover hidden rooms, and so on, we step on them and fill the maps.

There were few demons. Looking at this one, there was enough rat demons to escape and fish demons in the submerged room. I left it so hard to go into the water on purpose and fight.

The further you go, the more difficult it will be to discover and disarm the trap. Some of them are magic trick traps.

Kosuke learned that if you are unsure about disarming the magic trick, avoid it.

And some of the more difficult traps Bordos react to by failing to disarm or just approaching,

"Dangerous eh!?

Numerous arrows fly, plundering two bodies,

"Ahhh!?

escape the flames ejected from statues imitating dragons or

"Whoa!?

Slipping on the oil scattered on the slopes,

"If this happens, smash the ceiling!

I was trapped in a private room and had a thrilling experience of smashing a suspended ceiling.

Among them, the two were in the most hurry for water attacks with lysate, and they were coming to take their lives, no matter what the trap was at the first prank level.

By the way, this trap didn't fail to disarm, but the rat demon accidentally activated it. Desperate to escape the scene, I didn't have time to think of the melting demons as gross.

"... that's crazy"

Says Yusuke, running away from the looming lysate.

"What is it?

"There are many traps, no matter how much. It's strange how difficult it is in order."

"Really? But strangely enough, I think it's time to go, and let's get this over with."

The map being drawn makes it feel like it's definitely time to end by guessing from the overall picture.

While leaning his neck, Kosuke follows Bordos into the hall. There was a large four-legged beast there. The height approaches Bordos, about four meters from face to tail. You're starving, you're starving at the two people who come in, and you're drooling.

"I knew it was crazy!

There's a cage that feels broken down more than broken down!

If it was broken, it can be convinced that the beast came out by force, but I don't think the demon came out by force, except for a small scratch in the parts that constituted the cage.

It's as if they were artificially released.

"Now it's a priority to do something about the demon in front of you rather than that!

That too, Yusuke pulls out his sword and stands up to the beast with Bordos.

The battle ended lightly without struggle. He was stronger than the miscellaneous fish there, but he was still a good enough opponent to defeat Bordos alone.

"Koske."

"What?"

Bordos calls Yusuke, who was away from the demon and watched the cage, finished stripping fangs and such from the demon.

"You don't look floating this time, but are you used to it?

I guess it's compared to when you killed Ratsmonkey or something.

"I'm used to it, it shouldn't be.

Because this time, the subject felt more at risk than guilt or anything else, out of common sense. "

"Your danger isn't that strong, is it?

"I've never seen a beast so big and fierce alive. I don't know if he's really strong, but he said he's barometric in appearance."

"The atmosphere seems to tell me that it's underground."

"More than that, look at this."

Yusuke lifts part of the cage.

"There's a wound with demons raging on it, but other than that, I don't feel pretty, powerful and broken.

It's like someone splattered the cage with one trick.

Maybe it's someone's lair, isn't it? That would convince me of the number of traps. "

"That's a hassle. If you're in a safe house, you have a sense of life, right? Have you found any drinks or food?

Kosuke explores his memory and shakes his neck to the side.

"If it's not a safe house, who cared for that demon?

I haven't eaten without drinking for a long time, and I don't have that energy. "

"I don't think I have that either. It's called the level of difficulty of the trap, I wonder what you thought, Alliance officials."

"The guild people?

"Looks like it's all turned around, and you can screw around."

Bordos talks as he leaves the ruins.

The two parts of this ruin have already been explored a long time ago. Then why did you ask Bordos and Yusuke to explore, in order to gain experience with Yusuke, as I said in the beginning. Unlike the training you can do in your guild, you can make them improve faster by letting them touch the real air.

Yusuke tilts his neck wondering if we need to get this far, but I guess that's all we're expected to do.

If the hassle of creating this dungeon also leads to the fulfilment of requests such as rescue of the victims within the dungeon, which will later be turned to Kosuke, it is not a great struggle.

"You mean the real practice area. I challenge you nervously if you haven't been informed, and you're no different from the real deal. Though I'm convinced there.

He's coming to kill me. Leave the trap and practice. "

Kosuke looks uncomfortable just there.

Lysate is not the only lethal trap. Didn't activate it, but some magic water cutters and poisoned steel threads.

"I don't know because I haven't heard much about it either. He brought Yusuke here and asked me to move on with him as I taught him. I heard the trap was set, but I didn't hear it was this far.

There's a guild clerk out there, and you know more about him, don't you?

When the two of them asked officials outside, the simple answer came back that they were getting too well.

It wasn't the guild staff who set the trap, it was the specialists who were called. The experts had a good time sifting their arms and ran wild. The trap was so impressive that the staff enjoyed it without stopping, and the trap that led to death was set.

Besides, the officials seemed to be looking forward to seeing the two of them get caught up to now.

"Ah ho ah!? If I get caught, I'm gonna die!

To Bordos' cry, whoa. Convinced of the slap on the hand, the officials blued their faces.

Officials who keep their heads down in momentum so much that it seems that Pekopeko and his head will blow up.

Kosuke looks at it with a dry grin on his face.

Thus Yusuke's first dungeon attack ended with a harder thought than what was planned.

But for the difficulty, a lot has been gained. This experience must help you explore the next dungeon.

But I couldn't have done a form of Bordos that was half entangled unless I thought so.
