“Something inside me seemed to snap when you refused my advances, leading me to feel a great deal of pain and anger,” Eytelis explained. “The pain I felt was even worse than what everything this bitch put me through.”

[CEOHopkins (Spector): I believe what Erkath is trying to say is that neither the Solarian royal family nor the Environmental Sustainability Bureau will like the fact that Eytelis is more loyal to Adam than to them.]

“Becky, please say that this is something that I will definitely have to discuss with my husband,” Riniya stated after reading the chat.
“This would be so much easier if you had access,” Becky grumbled before writing the message.
“Becky, it’s our honour to assist Queen Riniya,” Tessa chided.
“It’s fine, Princess Tessa; we can’t blame Becky for getting a little annoyed at having to play the messenger,” Riniya replied before turning to Becky and saying.
“I do appreciate and thank you for helping me send messages in the chat; unfortunately, as we know, my request for access to the stream was rejected.”
“Still, this whole Eytelis situation is concerning,” Keerla remarked.
“Agreed,” Riniya said with a frown.
“You know, there’s an easy way to turn this whole situation to our advantage,” Liluth suddenly stated.
“And what would that be?” Riniya asked with a raised eyebrow.
“Oh, if only there were a prominent member of the Solarian race, perhaps a princess who could also marry Adam,” Liluth stated in an exaggerated tone.
Riniya looked at her daughter suspiciously and was about to reply when Shalendra, who had been reading a message she had received on her uniband, suddenly said.
“Your Majesty, there has been a situation in the capital.”
“What sort of situation?” Riniya asked in surprise.

“Several small planetquakes occurred in rapid succession,” Shalendra answered before her eyes widened in surprise as she added, “The epicentre of each appears to be that of the great tree.”
“Seriously?” Keerla asked in surprise.
“Ohhh,” Riniya groaned as she placed a hand over her face. “This just keeps getting more complicated.”
Tessa, Becky and Andria looked at each other in confusion before Tessa asked, “I’m sorry, but could someone explain how that happened? As far as I’m aware, Solarian Prime uses seismic absorbers to prevent planetquakes.”
“You're of course correct, Tessa,” Liluth began to explain. “Our seismic absorbers do indeed prevent naturally occurring planetquakes; however, they are not enough to prevent the ones caused by the world tree.”
“Planetquakes caused by the world tree?” Andria repeated in surprise. “Is such a thing possible?”
“It is, though they are incredibly rare,” Liluth continued. “While our seismic absorbers prevent planetquakes caused by the great tree from affecting most of the planet, they can’t prevent it from affecting the capital city, which is built surrounding the great tree.”
“Although I’m fairly sure I know the answer, how many planetquakes occurred?” Riniya asked.
“Five,” Shalendra answered.
“The exact same number of times Eytelis hysterically screamed bitch,” Liluth stated with a smile.
“Wait, you're saying Eytelis caused the planetquakes?” Becky asked in shock.
“Well, the more accurate term would be to say that her emotions influenced the great tree, which resulted in the planetquakes,” Liluth answered.
“Incredible,” Becky marvelled. “I had no idea Dryads could influence the world trees they were connected with.”
“The connection goes both ways, though it is rare that it happens since only extreme spikes in emotion are known to cause it,” Liluth replied before turning to her mother and saying with a smile, “It just got even more complicated, huh.”
“And why are you smiling about it?” Riniya asked in annoyance.
“What are we even supposed to do here?” Lorelie asked with a sigh. “I would personally be ok with her joining the harem if it weren’t for the issues it would bring with the Environmental Sustainability Bureau.”
“I’m curious as to why you only mentioned the Environmental Sustainability Bureau and not the Solarians?” Rowena asked.
“Oh, err, something just tells me that the Environmental Sustainability Bureau will be the bigger issue,” Lorelie hastily replied.
“Hmm,” Rowena said while giving her friend a suspicious look.
“I’m fine with her joining, as long as she waits her turn,” Tephe stated adamantly.
“You're not even part of the harem yet,” Stacey retorted.
“Exactly, yet,” Tephe replied. “I will be soon, though.”
“Someone's confident,” Aphrodite said with a chuckle.
“Can’t you take this more seriously?” Rowena asked with a frown.
“Why?” Aphrodite replied. “I’m not part of the harem; I’m still going through my trial. I might as well get what enjoyment out of this that I can.”
“It’s certainly interesting to observe,” Emma commented.
“What do you mean?” Eri asked.
“Well, Lorelie and Rowena have always seemed so… in control, yet here they are stressing over this minor issue,” Emma replied.
“Hey! Why didn't you mention me?” Stacey complained.
“Obviously because you're the most hotheaded of Adam’s girlfriends,” Aphrodite replied teasingly.
“What do you mean by ' minor issue'?” Rowena asked with a frown. “How is this a minor issue?”
Instead of answering, Emma asked, “Exactly how much influence does the Environmental Sustainability Bureau have over the Universal Senate?”
“Honestly, not a great deal; their influence is more directed to the individual planets they operate on,” Rowena began to explain. “They do, of course, have influence, though it’s via roundabout means.
The bureau chief speaks to the galaxy's ruling party, who then has their Senator bring it up in the Universal Senate. While they hold no power within the Universal Senate themselves, they can influence those who have, since they are in charge of everything related to the environment on those planets.”
“Didn’t you mention back when you were on Solarian Prime that they have members who speak on their behalf in the Universal Senate?” Emma asked.
“I did, but what I was referring to was the Senators of each galaxy they reside in,” Rowena answered.
“That’s what I figured, but just wanted to make sure,” Emma said with a nod.
“Great, so now would you mind explaining what you meant?” Rowena asked.
“My meaning is, why are you making a mountain out of a molehill?” Emma replied.
“A mountain out of what?” Rowena asked while all the women gave Emma confused looks.
“Sorry, Earth expression,” Emma said apologetically. “Why are you all exaggerating the importance of a minor issue?
Consider the fact that Revi will soon be joining the harem, a woman who rules over an entire galaxy, not to mention all the other influential and powerful connections Adam has made since arriving in the known universe.
Tell me, what exactly can this Environmental Sustainability Bureau do to us?”
There was silence in the room as everyone fell into thought at what Emma had asked before Aphrodite said.
“I can’t believe how stupid you all are.”
“Excuse me!” Rowena said angrily.
“Pardon?” Lorelie asked in surprise.
“Say that again,” Stacey snarled.
“I said you're all being stupid and letting your emotions affect your rational thinking,” Aphrodite said with a sigh. “I can’t believe you all had to rely on someone who hasn’t even been in the known universe for five minutes to explain things to you.
Especially you, Rowena; you're supposed to be mature enough to understand this.”
“Why are you making it sound like you already figured all this out?” Rowena asked in annoyance.
“Because I did,” Aphrodite replied before she began to reprimand the three women. “I was just waiting to see how long it would take all of you to figure it out while enjoying the show.
Honestly, if you're going to let such a minor issue affect you, this group relationship won’t last long.
Adam may be technologically advanced and powerful, but he is woefully ignorant of the known universe, and as his girlfriends, it is your responsibility to guide and teach him in this regard, something you have been doing relatively well up until now.”
