Lesson 3: After Bulgaron Home Affairs

Great River, Histele.

It was once a natural border separating the realm of the Lemurian Empire from the barbarians, a river that had been running within the Bulgarian kingdom since it was broken through by the Bulgarians.

Now the Kingdom of Bulgaron became the territory of the Lemurian Empire, thus returning to the natural borders of the Lemurian Empire.

Currently, the Histele River was undergoing a steady process of fortification due to the life of Erkür.

"How can you consolidate your defenses so much? … I don't think there are any enemies north that would threaten the Lemurian Empire"

Alicia asked Elquille.

Today, Erkühr visited the fortifications of the Histele River.

Alicia is its escort.

Moats are dug on both banks of the river, and fences and piles with pointy tips are filled so that the horses cannot be crossed.

Both ends of the bridge passed to the river are completely fortified, and if we try to cross the bridge, we will need a siege weapon.

Such crystals of civil engineering technology from the Lemurian Empire are made over dozens of kilometers.

"You're not here today. But tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, I don't know."

"Is it Teritel's family?

The Histele River was a natural border separating the Lemurian Empire from the barbarian realm.

but not all of them were in all times.

Northwest of Nova Lemuria, to the north of the Histele River was an area known as Dathia.

There's been a massive gold mine vein here since ancient times...

Therefore, only Dathia became a subordinate state, invaded by the Lemurian Empire, even though it was outside the Histele River.

It was then conquered by the kingdom of Bulgaron… and now taken back by Erkühl.

Currently, the former territory of the Kingdom of Bulgaron is governed by two administrative districts, the northern side of the Histele River divided into the Datian province and the southern side into the Bulgaron province.

On the south side, if the largest Bulgaron family in the province of Bulgaron is the Chromium family, Teritel family is the largest family in Bulgaron in the northern province of Dathia.

Teritel's family has done little damage in the Lemuria Bulgaron War.

And we get the port, we embark on direct deals with Lemuria, etc... we have also succeeded in economic reform.

Erkühl was wary of the Teritel family, including his attitude until he turned to the Lemurian side.

But...

"Well, there's nothing like it... but if it's just Territel, you don't have to be so defensive."

Fortunate, though, with a population of hundreds of thousands.

From the Lemurian Empire, it's just like pebbles.

Whether or not the Territorial clan would be a major threat if it engaged other clans to build a major force.

"So, for what?"

"Right. For example... the Black Clash."

"Black Clash, is it?"

Alicia distorted her expression.

The culture of the Bulgarians and the Black Clash is very similar.

That's supposed to happen, too, because if you go back to the roots, they're both the same people.

It was the black clash that made him the champion of the prairie, and it was the Bulgaron that broke into the Lemurian Empire, being chased by that black clash.

"Their forces are all the way east, and their eyes are to the south... for Farth and Silk Country. But it's not like they won't look west. In that case, it is the Taurika Peninsula, the Kingdom of Hayastan, and around here… the province of Bulgaron."

Now Linasha is in alliance, kinship with Kurokusha for her dowry.

But I've never been more prepared than I don't know what will happen in the future.

"Well, I'm not bound by black clashes.... Nomads are easy to break in here. Even though you Bulgarians will be shields, I don't know if that's the only way to prevent them. Just in case."

Sometimes it is more sensible to respect the culture of the Bulgarians above the rule that Erkür cannot force the Bulgarians to nationalize their farming...

to avoid creating a blank zone of power.

Around the province of the genus Bulgaron has long been a base of activity for the invading nomads.

If we wipe out all the nomads in this land, we risk another nomad entering that void.

Therefore, while subordinating the Bulgarians, they rule only as nomads.

"... we're building a similar thing in the province of the genus Datia, right?

"The fortress in the province of Dathia is tougher. There's no river there, and you're dealing directly with the barbarians."

For once, mountain ranges exist.

But a mountain is not a shield from enemy aggression.

On top of not being able to cross if you want to, the trees cause poor vision and delay the discovery of the enemy.

And once they get away in the mountains, there's no way to chase them.

So it is the ancient defence policy of the Lemurian Empire to create artificial border lines, such as the Great Wall, in promising places, after taking mountains and others as far inside the border line as possible.

"... doesn't it cost you money?

"Thanks to the slaves of the ex-Cotrumian clan, it's cheaper. It's good to have a crushing workforce."

To Elquille's words, Alicia shook herself.

If we missed the choice, the Chromium family might have been forced to work too.

"The provinces of Bulgaron and Dacia are economically lagging behind. It's going to be a good utility, and it's not that bad to have money on it."

"That kind of thing?

"That's the thing. You just have to pay me back as a tax one last time. Luckily, Lemuria has a good economy now"

Elquille said looking in a good mood.

Tax revenues are also increasing, so you can afford your wallet.

"Besides... you can expect to earn money from the goldmine vein in the province of Dachia."

"Didn't Datia's goldmine vein get dug up already?

"Not to the point where you guys can dig by your technical standards. With our country's technology, we can still dig deep. At least fifty years is our scholars' estimate."

As I said earlier, there is a goldmine vein in Datia.

The superficial area has been dug up… it takes a little effort, but the amount of money that can be collected is sleeping deep down.

Digging this out will be a major source of income.

"Even so, the provinces of Bulgaron and Dacia are in great deficits so far. I didn't mean to conquer the Bulgaron because I knew it would happen."

"Huh? Really?

Alicia opened her eyes to the unexpected el-cure discharge.

Even though we have so thoroughly placed the Bulgarians under control, it would naturally come as a surprise if they were told that they weren't originally that motivated to ride.

"Duh, how did you change your mind?

For better or worse, Alicia's life moved almost in the wrong direction.

You would naturally want to know the cause of that movement, the reason for the change of heart.

"To put it bluntly, it's because I'm angry that you did it to me."

"... Got hit?

"Thanks to your ambush, I lost a lot of elite, didn't I? Plus my arm... well, I hope you're back. One or two of your stomachs, it's natural to stand."

Alicia was confused.

If I hadn't won that time, the Bulgaron Kingdom might not have perished.

"So, what were you going to do with your initial plans?

"Good, economic domination after subordinating the Bulgarian kingdom, well an inviolable treaty after taking back the worst territory and rebuilding the defensive line. Either way, I was able to enter into friendship with the Territorial family, and I had a number of measures available to wedge into the relationship between the Kotormian and Chromium families. If only we could tear the power of the bull gallon wide open."

"So, what do I do..."

"Well I'm not falling in a bad direction. I'd be most grateful. It turns out you guys aren't even willing to keep a shard of what you promised. No, I knew it, but I didn't feel it enough. After all, people like you have to wear a collar after a thorough beating."

That's what Elquille says and eagles Alicia's neck.

Alicia shook her body.

Elquille brings her lips closer to the frightening Alicia's ear and whispers.

"Well, don't be so frightened. It's not just a bad story for you or for the Chromium clan? Frankly, I'm a better man than your ex-fiancée...... a few times better than Tele managed, right?

"It's... well, yes"

Telerig in Alicia has a bad impression.

Besides, it was clear that Erkühl was a better person than Telelig, and above all stronger than himself.

It is true that Alicia cannot honestly refer to a man named Erkühl, who has a major personality flaw, as a "good man”.

With my neck grabbed, I can't tell you that, even if my mouth is torn.

"The Kotormia clan was willing to crush you Chromium clans. If I'd stayed close to the Kotormia clan like that, you guys might have been stuck in a predicament in the near future. Besides, if Territel's family were after the Bulgaron championship, I would have backed it up. Civil unrest between the Bulgarians could have created a pile of bodies. Well, if it's an IF in a bad direction, I can imagine as much."

"That's... because you're trying to tighten up the bull gallon, isn't it?

When Alicia said so, Elquille grinned.

"Right. Do you have a choice? Because it doesn't change that you're blind."

The kingdom of Bulgaron has developed thanks to the Lemurian Empire.

We took rich lands from Lemuria, plundered them, and made deals… and it was only nearby that a great power called Lemuria led to the creation of a convoluted government called the Kingdom of the Bulgaron.

It can therefore be taken for granted that its decline, its demise, will also depend on the trend of the Lemurian Empire.

"Ah, hey, sire... here, in a place like this..."

"Not now, but you're a good ass. I'm going to have a cheap, healthy kid."

Elquille strokes Alicia's glutes with her other hand.

Suddenly, Alicia whispered unexpectedly.

"You will have a child. A child who will be head of the Chromium family in the future. A wedge to stop the Bulgarians from connecting to Lemuria, the Territorian family… and a shield against possible future threats."

That's what Elquille says. She holds Alicia.

Body tight, Alicia blushes.

Elkhur and Alicia are not the only ones on this scene.

The soldiers of the escort, regardless, have the officials of the guide, as well as numerous workers.

I'm exposed to a lot of gaze.

"Ya, stop, please..."

"You don't talk, I look like Nori for not liking it. Why not? My mistake or acting..."

Elkühr's hand, which had been on his glutes until earlier, had already moved to the white thigh peeking from his slit.

As he strokes, his hands slowly rise to the inside of his clothes and above his thighs.

The hand that was grabbing Alicia's neck, on the other hand, was moving forward and to the front of her torso.

From the stomach, slowly approaching the top.

Alicia's breathing gets rough, and her voice glows, as she interacts with Elquille's hand movements.

Elquille whispers as she crawls her tongue into her brightly red-stained ear.

"What am I buying you for? Any martial arts arm who doesn't take a pull on Galphis or Carolina is a tactical talent and a political talent who could come up with the right answer to begging for help against me. I hate stupid women. In that regard, you turn your wits. Well, that's why I have to wear a collar to keep it..."

That's what Elquille said. She breathed in Alicia's ears.

Keep your whole body weight in Elkühl, as if you were slowly weakened.

He's lost his strength and seems to have lost his temper to resist.

Elquille says to Alicia like that.

"Okay, bitch. It's one of the dog's jobs to shake his tail, sell his charm, perform a show and entertain his owner... but the dog's real purpose is to assist his owner. The dog became a livestock because he was expected to have that hunting talent, but he was late. And I have you because I want to use you as a hound."

Alicia looked up at Elquille with her feverish eyes.

Tension, fear, aversion, obedience, anticipation, joy… all sorts of emotions mix together, rattling Alicia's heart violently and raising her body temperature.

That was a physical reaction enough to trigger a suspension bridge effect.

"I'm counting on your dedication. Alicia."

"Yes, let's go..."
