Lesson 24: Nationalization

Alicia, the wedding with Sonia took place inconnectly.

If we were to mention the difference between the two weddings and the previous ones, it would be in that they did not take place in Nova Remulia.

The wedding with Alicia took place in the former kingdom of Bulgaron, in the province of Bulgaron spp.

Most of them were invited to the wedding by the nobles of the Lemurian Empire and the leading men of the former Bulgarian kingdom.

The wedding broke up on the second day, the Messiah Lemuria-style wedding performed by Cecilia on the first day, and the Bulgaron-style wedding on the second day, were each to be mentioned.

The same applies to my wedding with Sonia.

The wedding with Sonia took place in the capital city of the Kingdom of Cerda, the city of Herculea - the former city of Cerda.

After all, it was the nobles of both the Lemurian Empire and the Kingdom of Cerda who were invited, and on the first day it was Messiah Lemuria-style, and on the second day it was wedded according to the tradition of the Ancient Beasts (Warbeasts).

It was clear that the purpose of the weddings between the two sides was to appeal internally and externally - especially internally - to the establishment of the Lemurian and Bulgarian kingdoms, as well as to the kingdom of Cerda's union of homosexuals.

It was also a message from Elquille that the wedding took place not in the city of Nova Remulia, but in the territory of the former Kingdom of Bulgaron and the Kingdom of Cerda, respectively, and in accordance with the traditional methods of both countries, with respect for the cultures and traditions of both sides.

… of course, formally speaking.

"Eh heh... wedding, it was lovely..."

Girl looking at the painting with a lucid look.

Chestnut tail swinging left and right.

Sonia just had her wedding last month.

What she's looking at is a painting with two Elkhurs and Sonia, side by side.

Elquille wears a military uniform and Sonia a pure white wedding dress.

It's a picture Titus drew for the two of us - mainly for Sonia.

"I don't mind falling in love, but let's talk about work now, Sonia"

"Yes, Your Majesty!

Sonia sat down to head over to Elquille when she snuggled back to the original location of the painting.

The two are preceded by maps of the Kingdom of Cerda, as well as various tax rates, industry and other materials.

The reign of the Kingdom of Cerda has become quite stable.

The remnants of the soldiers were hunted openly, the economy stabilized, and the hunger problem was solved.

and, if so, to internal affairs for permanent stability, stabilizing the national power of the Kingdom of Cerda, which has been hurt by the previous wars, would be the next thing to do.

... It would be good if we could finally increase our economic dependence on the Lemurian Empire.

"Well, but... compared to the Bulgaron kingdom, it's originally fertile land. Don't you need to put your hands on it?"

The southern continent, where deserts are generally thought to be spreading, but its coastal areas are extremely fertile.

The province of Teriportania, which was incorporated into the Lemurian Empire, and the region of Ifrichia, home of Sonia and the support base of the Gaicellian family, which houses the capital of the Kingdom of Cerda, were originally the barn zones of the Lemurian Empire.

Quick story, it's just a return to the original sheath.

(Though, wheat production could be squeezed in the future)

The present Lemurian Empire has a new barn area called the Kingdom of Hayastan, and the province of Taurika.

The Black Land Zone (Chernosem) extends particularly in the province of Taurica.

If pioneering proceeds, fine wheat will be produced from the region.

Oversupply of wheat occurs throughout the empire and falls together......

The end is too dumb.

Finally, as far as possible, the dependent countries are more dependent on the division of labour (...).

As the Kingdom of Hayastan specializes in wheat and grape production, it would also be more convenient for the Kingdom of Cerda to specialize in certain industries.

It is a particularly desirable form for Elquille to core the Lemurian Empire, especially the city of Nova Lemuria, to perimeter the dependent states half way around and the dependent countries.

"In the future, dry resistant crops to avoid starvation… well, you might want to make more grapes, oranges, olives, tomatoes and potatoes"

"That's a good idea!

Smile, and smile Sonia.

Do you really think so, or are you saying it after you've figured out what Elquille's intentions are?

(Well, this guy's not stupid, so I guess the latter)

It's horrible because after learning about Erkühl's belly-black calculations, he's saying "good idea".

"Later it's cotton and wool production. The textile industry is now developing in the city of Nova Lemuria. Demand for raw materials is high."

On the side where raw materials are produced and on the side where raw materials are imported and processed, the latter are more profitable.

Naturally, after learning about it, Erkühl says.

"Wool... is a pastoral animal, Your Majesty. I'd like to introduce a camel, how about it?

"A camel... well, that would be good. Don't even use it for trading."

For once, Sonia still has some feelings about the country.

I have given a very constructive opinion.

Expansion of camel production is where we want it as an elkür.

Trading with the South will increase demand for camels, and even if not, it can be used for heavy units in war.

(With that said... there is also a soldier called Camel Cavalry, what do you think? I hear nomads on the Havila Peninsula shoot across camels)

The Havila Peninsula is a huge peninsula on the eastern side of the Misr province.

Most of them are covered in desert.

… but it also acts as a bypass on the silk road, and in the seasonal trade to get spices, it always passes through this Havila peninsula.

I mean, it's a very important place economically.

(Well, it doesn't matter now)

Erkühl eliminates the Havila Peninsula once and for all from thought.

"We'll need planting later."

"Plantation......?

"If you look at the material, you'll see.... You guys built too many ships. Lumber prices are soaring year after year. This means that forests are decreasing. If desertification progresses, the fertile land will be ruined because of it"

It might be better to regulate logging of trees.

and so on, says Erkühr.

Incidentally, behind the logging regulations, there is a hidden intention to reduce the shipbuilding capacity of the Kingdom of Cerda and to keep its fangs sharpened.

"And here's the big story."

Until now, the story is front seat.

It doesn't do much to encourage industry in the first place.

Many farmers don't listen to much of what the country has to say.

Of course, the production of grapes, olives, tomatoes, oranges, cotton, camels and the like will greatly benefit farmers.

So I would aggressively increase the creation of these crops and go.

That is why industrial encouragement makes no sense.

Whether they give encouragement or not, because if they profit, they move in that direction on their own.

Although the afforestation project has slightly different circumstances.

"Firstly, shall we lower taxes for five years"

"Are you sure?

"Well, I'm exhausted by the war."

Of course, it's not about people, it's about popularity.

Especially since it was Elquille himself who exhausted him in the first place in the war, it's a complete match pump.

"The other thing is, this is important… we're going to make sure that the Balbals are relatively advantageous in their dealings with the Balbals"

"... how could that be?

Sonia lurked her eyebrows.

With the exception of the Lemurian Empire, the enemy of the incompatible heavens for the Kingdom of Cerda is the Barbal.

That's why Sonia hates the Barbals.

I guess I don't really endorse that kind of policy in favor of the Barbal people in my mood.

"They run for loot because of financial hardship. And the economic hardship is because merchants in the Kingdom of Cerda look at their feet and try to buy them cheap."

Instead of invading militarily or forcing it to exploit, it would be more advantageous later to give it some sweet candy and make it economically dependent.

That's what Erkühr learned in his long war with the Bulgaron Kingdom.

Candy & whips, rather than candy & candy policies.

However, the candy contains poison named Wealth.

Sonia nodded as Erkühl spoke of it.

"Sure, you're right about that.... by the way, Your Majesty. Then we, the Royal Cerda Army, will have less work to do, but what will we do?

"Right..."

The handling of the Royal Cerda Army is a hassle for Elquille.

I would like to keep my fangs out if possible, but I also have difficulty with not being able to cope with the invasion of the Barbal tribe at times of need.

"Well, the size of the army could be reduced. However... I would like you to join me in my war, so training is essential. Best to proceed with centralisation. It is desirable to see the Feudal Horsemen as Tundan soldiers to create local armies and develop a central army that can move freely apart from them"

What Elkhur really wants to do is reduce military spending as much as possible during normal times.

Because in a series of wars the finances of the Lemurian Empire can never be said to be good either.

(early on, I'd like to digest the kingdom of Cerda... well, I'd need three years)

Elquille sighed in her heart.
