Peer review is an unsatisfactory task.

Firstly, the job is unpaid, or the reviewer's remuneration is usually paid in a way that is not monetary, such as a journal thank you, a position in the editorial department, free access to a journal, discounts on page fees, etc.

Secondly, with limited knowledge of a task, it is quite difficult in itself to go into this area to judge the correctness of a study.
