Chapter 1409: Names to Remember
Time went back half an hour ago.
Standing next to that clear and transparent space debris, the Ark heard the voices from the sacred relics and confirmed to him for the last time.
“Have you thought about it? ”
“I got it. ”
“Let's get started. ”
As the space debris grew over the white mist in front of it, the ship suddenly thought of something and said.
“Wait a minute. ”
“Regret? ”
“No,” the ark shook its head, "can I ask a favor? ”
“What do you want? ”
“Send my teammates safely out of this relic. ”
The sound was silent for a while.
Just as the ark raised a slight doubt as to whether it could do this, the voice suddenly continued to speak in a relaxed tone.
“Sure, it's not that hard. ”
The moment the voice fell, the white mist wrapped around the space debris was suddenly placed in a circle. It was only under the hazy white fog that a twisted line was stirred together.
Like fragmented puzzles, those lines and their corresponding tunnels were scattered into clusters and regrouped under the rule of some special law.
In that four-dimensional space debris, like a soap bubble, the ark saw his teammates, even the wrist-mounted computer he had dropped earlier.
Under the control of that mysterious force, all puzzles that retain objects that do not belong to this monument are moved to areas close to the surface.
“Incredible," taking all the changes to the bottom, the face of the ark has a shocking look, “it's like...”
“Like what? ”
“… like the power of a god. ”
Chased by the “collapsed” tunnel, the ark looked at his teammates, one after the other, fleeing the boundaries that the four-dimensional space debris could control - the exit of the relics.
Under the rule of this power, everything is as small as an ant, and invisible chains are laid out like doppelgangers.
“The Spirit? That's it?” The voice carried a slight mockery, continuing, “Not quite. ”
Capturing the hidden information in this sentence, the heart of the ark moves slightly and asks subconsciously.
“So you've seen it? ”
“It depends on how you understand the concept of a god," without any wave of tone, the voice does not hide, and continues with a casual tone, "If you are referring to the original faith of that native planet, that god is probably just their imagination of the mystery of the unknown. But if you're referring to some great will that dominates the universe… at least it's hard to prove that it doesn't exist. ”
Ark: “That sounds a little stubborn. ”
“Any rigorous theory may sound a little stubborn, and this is a new universe, and the laws of the old universe may not necessarily apply. And of course, my advice is, if you can't feel that, don't bother thinking about it. Anyway, with your knowledge of the universe and the truth, you probably don't have access to that level of things. ”
There was a slight sense of ridicule and superiority in that voice, which was quite unpleasant.
But considering that this guy is a lonely old man from outside of time, with a good tradition of respecting the elderly and caring for children, the ark has not been too proud of him.
“Now that your compatriots have been sent to the surface, we should probably leave if you don't want to keep stalling here. ”
“Let's go," the ark nodded down, looking at the space debris that was reshaping the interior, suddenly thinking of something, asking, "So where are we going? ”
“Deeper than here... aren't you curious? Why are the Martians in your mouth building these twisted tunnels here? ”
Ark: “… why? ”
“Because of greed and instinct, by the way, this relic is actually straight. ”
Ark: “…? ”
Almost as soon as the voice dropped, the soapy bubble-like four-dimensional space debris moved again.
However, this change was somewhat different from the previous one.
Seeing a twisted line, it was like being pulled by some unknown force, wrapped around a white mist clumped together, and finally compressed into a dot.
Looking at this strange phenomenon in front of us, the ark frowned and asked.
“What is this? ”
“As I said, this is a key,” smiled slightly, the voice continued, "and the key's use, naturally, is to open the door. ”
The ark was slightly stunned, suddenly in a shock, and reacted violently.
“Isn't that...”
“Ha ha, looks like you've guessed! Yes, the relic is about to disintegrate and return to its most ancient form! If you want to regret it, it's too late! ”
Regret doesn't mean anything, it's just an accident.
The ark guessed that the debris in the four-dimensional space distorted the original appearance of the relic, but didn't expect it to be more than that, it even hid part of the space outside the three-dimensional axis of coordinates...
And now it's returned!
A crack-like crack appeared on the surface of the "soap bubble”, like a glass sphere that fell on the ground, and the space debris floating in the middle of the sky burst into tiny pieces.
A circle of milky white ripples spreads around along the singularity of the blast, like a series of tiny foams pouring around, passing through everything it touches.
His hands were consciously raised beneath the ship, and even the nitrogen shield was almost activated.
Soon, however, he discovered that the ripples of diffusion had not affected him in any way, merely passing through him and then not into the wall behind him.
It's like it's happening in another world.
Just when he was thinking about it, the sensation of a split heaven and earth suddenly came from under his feet.
But the vibration didn't last long, and as a twisted ripple emerged from all directions, he quickly felt the flowers in front of him, and after a day of spinning, Mars' gravity threw him again into an open cave.
This time, the ark didn't feel much pain, as if it had just been turned upside down.
Slowly climbing up from the ground, his pupils contracted to a point as he saw the giant thing parked in front of him.
“This, this is…”
It's a silver-white spacecraft with a streamlined housing and a long, shuttle-shaped profile. As for how the ship knew it was a spacecraft, naturally it was because he had seen it.
It's a memory of the old universe.
And it used to belong to a powerful civilization!
The ship in front of him was silent for a long time, and the ship suddenly said.
“… you are General Reinhardt. ”
The air was quiet for many seconds.
On the communication channel, there was a slight sigh of loneliness and nostalgia.
“I didn't expect to hear that name in the new universe. ”
“It's a real nostalgia. ”
He restrained the slight tremor in his voice and the ark swallowed his mouth.
“… so this is your ship? ”
The sound was faint.
“Was. ”
Spaceship of Coke Civilization!
It was a civilization that had conquered a star physically!
Looking at the solid dome above his head, the ark took a deep breath, pressed down the excitement of his mind, and his mind flew fast.
“Are there any more weapons on the ship? Or a shield or something. ”
Though I seem to be buried alive in the ground, if it is a spaceship of Coke civilization, this little trouble should not be the case!
After hearing the inquiry from the Ark, the voice gave a very honest answer.
“Basic shields and weapons, of course. ”
Happy in the heart of the Ark.
Yet, just as he was about to give the order to start the ship, there was a loud sigh in the channel.
“… but unfortunately neither shields nor weapons, nor spacecraft engines, are likely to be able to start. ”
Ark: “???? ”
For a moment.
The air is weird and quiet...
