Chapter 1561: A Million Word Letter of Love

When the gaze fell on line 2, the boat's original ups and downs of heartbeat suddenly calmed down again.

“… written during his tenure at Princeton? ”

She didn't even mention it to me at all.

But if you think about it, it seems she's the only one who can write something like this.

Though only academically, during his time in Princeton, he was probably the most intimate apprentice he ever liked.

And if I remember correctly, Hardy never seemed to be able to join the Ivy Club. Vera wrote her own letter of recommendation introducing her.

With a hint of curiosity, I wanted to know what kind of person I was in her mind. The boat opened the next page and skipped the catalogue and looked directly at the preamble.

Written in the preamble is Professor Helfgott's academic lecture at the University of California, Berkeley.

If I remember correctly, it's the end of '15.

The Ark remembered clearly that it had just been honored with the Cole Prize in Mathematics and had just made Goldbach's guess the next goal of the study.

At that lecture, Professor Helfgott showed him the important mathematical tool of the Hardy Litewood Circle and the progress made in using it to speculate on Gothenbach.

As for the memories of that time, the specific details had been blurred in the mind of the ark.

However, the author of this biography was particularly impressed with the academic lecture and even remembered what color he was wearing.

With a delicate brush stroke, she wrote on the first page of the preamble.

“... some say that everyone is an apple that God bit, just because some apples smell extraordinarily fragrant, so God bit more. ”

“And he was undoubtedly such an apple loved by God. ”

“I still recall that that was Professor Helfgott's academic lecture on the application of the Round Law and my first encounter with him. ”

“At the time, he was not a professor at Princeton, not to mention the main character of the briefing, and he sat down with me as an audience, quietly thinking about Professor Helfgott's theory and writing about it in his notebook. ”

“I still remember it was December and the weather in LA was cold, but the heating in the classroom was very good. He was wearing a fresh white shirt with a cold grey coat and a plaid scarf on his side. As time passed through him, it seemed like half a beat had been delayed. Later I realized that the missing half beat was my heartbeat. ”

“Of course, I was not impressed by his clothes, but by the brilliance of reason and the goodness in his heart. ”

“Out of confusion about Professor Helfgott's theory, I was in a mood to ask him to teach me some of the confusion in the lecture that I could not comprehend. ”

“Unexpectedly, even for a girl like me, he answered my confusion patiently. ”

“I listened very carefully, because his voice was very good, and although it was just a few words, it seemed to carry a reassuring affinity, as well as a powerful but non-aggressive persuasion. No matter how complex the mathematical difficulties, they become simple and easy to understand with his explanation. ”

“I had fantasized at the time that one day I would sit in the classroom and listen to his lectures, and I didn't expect that to happen many years later. ”

“Yet, as I said in the foreword, God gave him a mind close to the peak of mankind, but he also took something from him...”

“That's something special. ”

“I prayed that God would give it back to him. ”

That line of printed text, like trickling water, flows on slightly yellow paper.

Straightforward language and no disguise of the heart, where it looks like an autobiography, more like something else...

Turning the first chapter from the beginning to the end, the bow's throat moved gently.

Though curious to turn the biography around, it always seemed like a wrong decision.

What can I say?

It's like riding a tiger.

To be honest, he has never had the same cowardice in the face of threats from the Spirit of the Universe Foundation and those who awaken...

Well, that doesn't mean anything about cowardice.

It's just embarrassing.

The gaze shifted from the biography, and the ark looked at the librarian standing behind the front desk and said after a moment of silence.

“May I take this… about my autobiography? ”

After hearing the ark, the elderly librarian hesitated to speak in a compromising tone.

“Of course… this biography is written in your name, and if there is any false content in it and it gives rise to your disgust, of course you have the right to remove him from the bookshelf. ”

The ark “does not resent… and there is nothing untrue about it. ”

At best, it just made him feel a little embarrassed.

Because even people like him who don't really have a cold in emotional matters can tell it's not a biography, it's a million-word love letter.

As if to see the embarrassment on the face of the ark, the librarian's face showed a “I know” smile and said in a funny tone.

“I get it. Who didn't do a few stupid things when he was younger? There's nothing to be ashamed of. ”

“... I don't know where you think you're going, but I can swear, it's not what you think. ”

“It's not easy to write a million words of biography, whether I want it or not. In addition to dedicating my heart, I think there should be some emotions like thinking in it. I understand that everything seems too heavy in front of time, but do you really have the heart to talk about a page about youth and tear it out of a little girl's heart? Even after 100 years, she's probably in the ground. ”

The ship was silent for a while and eventually let go of the biography.

Though he did not want his descendants to have some strange misunderstandings about themselves, he should not have done so if the biography really carried so much.

Looking at the finally knowledgeable ark, the librarian had a smile on his face and put the book in his arms.

“Thank you, you have given future people an opportunity to dig treasures from history and preserve the youth of a young girl… I may have experienced my grandfather's happiness. ”

The ark leaned at him and said, "Your grandfather is not a gossip man. ”

“I know that the old man always put ‘civilized wealth’ in his mouth, but can you deny that this biography in my hands - or the million-word love letter - is not civilized wealth? ”

The funny old man squeezed his eyebrows toward the landing boat.

“After all, the biggest difference between humans and machines is that humans have feelings! ”
