Chapter 221: Returning home
Back at the villa, Rohit stepped out of the shower and rubbed a towel through his damp hair.
He had taken his time at the mall with Akanksha. Whatever favor she had wanted from him, he had made sure she left satisfied. But now that he was home, Rohit forced himself to put that distraction aside.
Priorities first.
He glanced at the clock.
2:30 p.m.
The rest of his day needed planning.
His martial arts class was non-negotiable. He had already skipped enough sessions lately, and he wasn’t going to let his personal affairs interfere with his training.
The linguistic class, however, was another matter.
He had been the one to suggest that private lessons to Seo-yeon and Namrata in the first place. Simply failing to show up would disappoint them—and, more importantly, make him look unreliable.
Rohit frowned thoughtfully.
There was a solution.
He could finish martial arts early and head directly to Namrata’s house afterward. If necessary, he could ask them to start their lesson slightly earlier than usual.
He picked up his phone and sent Namrata a quick message, suggesting a 7:00pm start for today’s class.
That should work.
Satisfied, Rohit returned to his laptop, still wrapped in his towel, and dropped into his chair.
"LISA."
The AI interface appeared across the screen.
[Good afternoon, sir.]
"Anything interesting?"
A notification immediately appeared.
[NEW DEVICE ACCESS DETECTED.]
Rohit’s eyes narrowed.
Then widened.
A grin slowly spread across his face.
"Finally."
The device belonged to Raj Singhania.
His father.
For weeks, Rohit had been trying to get access to Raj’s phone, the one available to him for contact. He had attempted several approaches, carefully designed to make his father click something without becoming suspicious.
Raj, however, was far more cautious than most people.
Until now.
Rohit leaned closer to the screen.
The method that had finally worked was almost embarrassingly crude: a link disguised as a Turkish escort agency website.
He’d sent it mostly as a desperate experiment.
And his father had actually clicked it.
Rohit chuckled.
"So I was right."
LISA began indexing the device.
Within moments, files, photographs, contact information, and fragments of browsing history began appearing across the screen.
Rohit’s amusement slowly faded into something more calculating.
There were photographs of women.
Quite a few of them.
But the pattern was what caught his attention.
Some were married women. Others were daughters of families, with whom Raj maintained business relationships—or families he was attempting to cultivate relationships with.
Rohit leaned back.
"So that’s how you do it."
The realization was more interesting than the photographs themselves.
Raj wasn’t merely indulging his appetites.
He was using his security agency as a scouting network.
His people gathered information, identified vulnerable or desirable women, learned their family connections, and apparently passed that information upward.
And Raj had a very specific taste.
Powerful families.
Influential connections.
Women whose relationships could potentially give him leverage.
The man might be shamelessly debauched, but he wasn’t stupid.
Even his vices had a business strategy behind them.
Rohit scrolled further.
Unfortunately, there was nothing immediately useful regarding Raj’s secretary or the inner workings of his business.
The device seemed almost deliberately compartmentalized.
It was primarily used for public relations—reporters, social-media contacts, appointments, schedules, and maintaining his carefully cultivated image.
The list of women was almost like a private catalogue maintained alongside his respectable public life.
Rohit tapped his fingers against the desk.
’Shrewd bastard.’
He couldn’t help admiring the precaution.
Which meant this phone probably wasn’t the one device where Raj kept anything truly dangerous.
There were likely others.
Private numbers.
Unlisted devices.
Perhaps even completely separate communication channels.
Still, this was useful.
Very useful.
Rohit smiled.
He hadn’t found the treasure he was looking for.
But he’d found a map pointing toward it.
He closed one window and leaned back in his chair.
"I’ll keep this."
LISA acknowledged silently.
Before Rohit could continue exploring the device, his phone suddenly began ringing.
He glanced down at the screen.
’Robin.’
The smile disappeared.
Rohit leaned back in his chair, the phone pressed against his ear.
"What happened?"
Robin hesitated for a moment before answering.
"We got the woman you wanted."
Rohit’s expression sharpened."Good."
"There is... one complication," voice came from other side.
Rohit raised an eyebrow. "What kind?"
"We got her son too."
For a second, Rohit said nothing.
Then a grin slowly spread across his face.
"That’s not a complication."
Robin sounded genuinely puzzled. "It isn’t?"
"No. You may have just solved one of my problems for me." Rohit spun his chair lazily toward the window. "The woman is his own mother, isn’t she?"
"Yes."
"Then you’ve given us exactly what we need. A mother will do considerably more for her son than she would for herself." Rohit leaned back lazily.
Robin thought about that.
Rohit continued, "I was wondering how much pressure we’d have to apply before she’d cooperate. Now we don’t have to waste time inventing crude ways to frighten her. Keep the boy safe, make it clear that his safety depends on her cooperation, and she’ll understand the situation."
"Understood."
"And Robin?"
"Yes, sir?"
"Don’t physically harm either of them."
There was no hesitation this time.
"Of course."
Rohit nodded.
"Good. Now tell me what you’ve learned."
Robin sounded almost pleased with himself.
"The woman hasn’t told us much yet. She fainted, so I questioned the boy instead."
Rohit’s interest increased.
"Go on."
"His father owns a chain of restaurants. They’re fairly wealthy. I managed to get some useful details, including contact numbers."
Rohit’s eyebrows rose.
"Contact numbers?"
"I sent them to you just before calling."
Rohit smiled.
That was exactly the sort of initiative he wanted from Robin.
He hadn’t told the man about LISA or the extent of his ability to track devices. He had only let Robin know that he possessed ways of locating phones if necessary.
So Robin collecting the numbers himself was an excellent instinct.
"Good work."
"Thank you, sir."
"I’ll send you a few links shortly. Get them accepted from their side and keep the phones with them afterward. Once I have a way to reach them directly, release the woman when I tell you to."
Robin immediately agreed.
Rohit was about to end the call when he heard him hesitate again.
"Anything else?"
"No, sir. Chetan hasn’t made any demands either."
Rohit frowned.
"Then what’s with that voice?"
There was another pause.
Finally, Robin spoke carefully.
"Sir... if I’m not crossing a line, I was wondering something."
Rohit leaned back.
"Ask."
"What did that woman do to incur your wrath?"
A short laugh escaped Rohit.
He had expected the question eventually.
Robin was useful, but curiosity could become dangerous if it turned into questioning every order.
Still, Rohit decided to answer him once.
"For the sake of our relationship, I’ll excuse the question this time."
Robin immediately became silent.
"But don’t make a habit of asking me for reasons behind every order. You offered to work for me knowing that there would be things you weren’t meant to understand."
"Yes, sir."
Rohit relaxed slightly.
"Her son is a delinquent at school. He harasses girls and has apparently made trouble for someone close to me. I suspect his mother might try to interfere if the matter escalates."
He paused.
"More importantly, she may prove useful against the principal. That man has been interfering with some of my other interests."
Robin gave a quiet, relieved-sounding breath.
Rohit noticed.
"You sound relieved."
Robin laughed awkwardly.
"I suppose I am."
"Remember something, Robin."
"Yes?"
"You offered yourself for anything I needed. That means you don’t always get to know why."
"Understood, sir."
"Good."
The call ended.
Rohit stared at his phone for a moment before chuckling.
Robin was learning.
That was important.
He placed the phone beside the laptop and turned back toward his work.
His phone buzzed again.
Rohit glanced at the screen.
This time, his expression changed immediately.
A video call.
Ragini.
He accepted.
The screen revealed Ragini reclining comfortably on her bed, dressed in a soft, loose gown that had slipped slightly off one shoulder.
The fabric clung gently to her body, outlining the smooth curves of her cleavage and the long, bare line of her legs as she shifted lazily against the pillows. Soft lighting spilled across her skin, making her look almost disarmingly innocent.
Almost.
She noticed that Rohit was still wrapped in nothing but his towel, the outline of his already hardening cock clearly visible, and a slow smile spread across her lips.
"Honey," she said in a deliberately sweet, teasing voice, "are you busy?"
Rohit’s grin turned shameless.
"Never, my lady," he teased. "I specially prepared myself for our proposed event."
Ragini’s cheeks warmed as her eyes dropped to the towel. They had planned this the night before, but seeing him so shameless made her heart throb hard. She bit her lower lip, clearly enjoying the view.
"Dont you think I am too old to do this stuffs."
"And yet you called me."
She tried to suppress her smile.
She failed.
Rohit stood up, walked to the bed, and sat down, leaning back against the pillows. In that moment, Raj Singhania, Robin, and every complication waiting outside the villa faded from his mind.
For now, there was something far more pleasant demanding his attention.
And Ragini clearly intended to keep it that way — shifting slightly on the bed so the gown slipped a little higher on her thigh, revealing more of her long legs as she waited for his reaction.
