Seirei Gensouki ~Konna Sekai de Deaeta Kimi ni~

Episode 76: The Depression of Lieselotte

Upon seeing Rio and the Stiards sign a settlement contract at the Ricca Chamber of Commerce restaurant, Aria returned to the mansion where Liezelotte lives.

Looks like Leezelotte is still in a meeting with Flora and the others.

I'm sure the first one is a matter to be told quickly, but I need time to figure out what to do, and I have a word of mouth with the Stiards.

Since Flora and the others were staying overnight at the mansion after this, Aria decided to put the first case in Leezelotte's ear only after the meeting.

Until the end of the meeting, Aria will prepare an earlier report, which will also promptly handle the tasks assigned to her.

There are cases that cannot be handled unless she is the chief samurai, and even a huge pile of paperwork awaits her.

I wanted to gracefully call it post-meal tea time to fill some of the ruined lunchtime if I say greed, but I wasted quite a bit of time on one of the earlier cases, so I can't waste a bit of time.

After a while of silent work, a report came up from his men that the meeting was over, and Aria headed to the Lord's office.

"Good luck. Dear Lieselotte"

When he knocked and obtained permission to enter the room, Aria bowed deeply and told him.

"Oh, Aria. What's the matter, man?

Rieselotte smiles at the visit of the attentive and heavy minister.

"Yes, I have one case to share with you right away"

That said, Aria sighed small.

"What could it be?

Sharpen your expression softly, and Lieselotte switches the thought circuit.

There's no such thing as a laid-back, very cute warrant lady I showed you during a meeting.

Because of the correspondingly long years spent together, Leezerotte perceives that emotions seem to have less good news from the face of a diluted subordinate.

"Two aristocrats belonging to the Kingdom of Beltram, currently staying in Amando, caused problems in a restaurant run by the Ricca Chamber of Commerce. The Lord of the commotion is the son of the Duke of Jugnor and the second son of the Marquis of Rodin."

and Aria makes a terminal report.

"What do you mean?

Lieselotte leaks a slightly out of tune voice.

The Lord of Disturbance, more than anything else, said he was the son of the highest ranking executive among the anti-revolutionary forces of the Kingdom of Beltram.

It's not a very mild story that those two caused problems.

I wonder what the hell you've done to me in this important moment - think so, Leezelotte held her face with her left hand troubled.

"I doubted their heads, too, in my heart, but it is the undisputed truth"

Say, Aria shakes her head in mourning.

"So, what the hell did you do?

I'm almost hesitant to ask you how the specific case went, but in my position, I can't possibly not ask.

Liezelotte probably threw a rough question.

"We broke into the seats of other guests who were eating at the restaurant and tried to dictate the woman who was on the spot, developing into an argument and eventually trying to be obscure and abuse disrespectful beatings"

Rieselotte lost her physical balance.

"Hey, I wonder what you did. From what I can tell, the case was closed with an attempt, right?

"Yes, you're right."

To Aria's answer, Lieselotte exhales in a ho.

If it's done, I'll send you to jail without question.

If attempted, the prison can be dropped off depending on the victim's complaint.

As the Kingdom of Galark and as an individual Lieselotte, the Duke of Jugnault needs to do his best from now on.

It would be too bad for such a person's son to be sent to prison for defiling the honor of the nobility more than anything else.

Nobility is no more interesting a scandal that affects the morale of the counter-revolutionary army at the moment than taking care of the outside world.

"What are the two of you like?

"We have determined that the risk of escape is low due to the certainty of identity, and we have reserved only surveillance on the accommodation during our stay"

"I wonder what the victim is doing?

"After the incident, we were showing an attitude of suing the two nobles of the perpetrators, but when they offered arbitration from me, they dropped the charges. I asked to accompany you here, but apparently you have something for me today, and I didn't force you to hold back. Instead, I plan to stay at the Mansion later."

When Rio finished making the settlement contract, the companion refused to take any further trouble.

Rio tramples that Liezelotte is likely a reincarnator.

The color of her hair has changed, so you won't know it in the long run, but assuming she is a former Japanese, there is a good chance that she will have a sense of ready-to-see in the making of that face if she faces Miharu and the others.

At that time, Rio refused to take Miharu and the others to Leezelotte's mansion at the outing, beyond any expectation of what would happen.

As for Aria, I would have liked to have accompanied Rio, but Rio and the others were the victims, and there were fallacies on the store's side, so I didn't gobble with power.

Nevertheless, in order to get more information about Celia's relationship with Aria and about the brave ones, it is not a bad option to have an easy face-to-face with Lieselotte or Aria, even as Rio.

So, at a later date, he decided to leave the place only in the form of an offer of goodwill, provided that only Rio would show his face.

"At that time, we made sure that the price of the meal would be served and that, again, we would be given preferential treatment when you came to the store."

"Great. If Aria was there, she would have handled it as best she could here. Good luck. For now, I think it's connected by a piece of neck skin."

Exhaling in a ho, Leezelotte said.

"And it's unusual for an abuse of disrespect to end with an attempt. Can you tell me how it ended in an attempt?

The abuse of disrespectful beatings will only be accomplished if civilians die or are seriously injured, but the aristocrats who abuse disrespectful beatings are slaughtered by civilians with the intention of killing them in the first place.

For once, self-defence is permitted on the civilian side, but very few cases end with attempts.

"You may be right in expressing that the victim's boy ended in an attempt rather than in an attempt. Apparently, the victim's boy cut off the sword of two noblemen."

and explain the primary reason why Aria ended the case with an attempt.

"... what? Yeah, yeah?

Leezelotte circled her eyes.

She has also completed swordsmanship to the extent of protection during the Royal College in the Kingdom of Galark, and is still having Aria do her archery and learn swordsmanship in self-defense.

That's why I understood the out-of-work crap of cutting a sword.

Regardless of whether it is a template sword with an outward focus on strength and an emphasis on mass productivity, it is a sword held by a nobleman of high rank even if it rots.

You should probably possess the finest Adamantite steel forged sword, but Adamantite swords are so tough that leading craftsmen are told that cutting rocks won't spill blades if they do.

You cut off a sword like that.

And it's for both of us.

Definitely not a coincidence, but something I would have done for it.

Not very much, but even if given the same Adamantite steel sword, it is not a craftsmanship that can be reproduced in Lieselotte.

It may be possible if you slap the sword body part from the side with a tremendous amount of arm power, but it can be called divine work to deal with two trained nobles and do it during battle.

No, maybe it would be easier if you had a namesake demon sword.

"Uh, did the victim's boy even have a demon sword?

Striving, taking care of his calmness, Liezelotte asked narrowly into highly realistic questions.

"Yes, as far as cutting marks are concerned, I decided I literally tore it with a sharp blade rather than beating it apart. Probably a demonic sword with magic that improves severability to a terrible extent. Nevertheless, based on my physical appearance and signs, I could also see that I had considerable skill. You must have both the Devil's Sword and the skill and the craftsmanship."

and Aria replied by adding an assessment to the facts observed.

Liezelotte highly values Aria's prowess.

So much so that I can assure you that more users than she will be able to find by searching around the neighboring countries.

The aria says so, so it's very credible.

Lieselotte groaned small,

"I see. An awesome swordsman, perhaps? But that's crazy. I can't believe there's an adventurer nearby with a demon sword who can do that kind of arts work. It's not on my network. Besides, he's young, isn't he? What kind of person are you?

and put exploration into the identity of the victim, Rio.

"The name seems to be Hurt, but there are no adventurers in the neighborhood with the same name. The age should be the same as that of Mr. Lieselotte, or slightly above."

"Hart......"

He murmured the name, and Lieselotte silenced with a slightly distant eye.

"Did you have any idea?

When Aria asked, Leezerotte shook her head (wearing it) with a bitter smile.

"No, I don't.... then is it a total anonymity, or a pseudonym, or not an adventurer in the first place? I wonder if it's possible around here."

"For once, I tried using my men to contact the Alliance, but I didn't seem to know the person in question. Most of all, I don't know if the guilds in this city can honestly tell me..."

"That's a little intriguing."

That said, Leezerotte smiles delightfully.

"Assuming you were an adventurer, pulling through any more promising adventurers, you'd really hate them from your guild, wouldn't you?

Aria said in a slightly frightened voice.

"You exaggerate. I'm not just soliciting you to pull it off. It's up to the adventurer to do what he does. And I'm careful not to solicit too much darkness."

And Rieselotte answers ridiculously.

"I asked the boy to come to this mansion at noon in five days so that it would also fit the lady's schedule. Why don't you just speak up then?"

Aria sighed small, saying so.

"A boulder. That's who you say you are. If you're that talented, I'd love to know, and can you tell me a little bit more about who you are?

I'm glad you preempted this reaction, and Liezelotte nods satisfactorily.

"You looked a little different from the people in the countries around here. I thought it was probably an exotic person. There were about five other people with you, but this one was also a race apart."

"Heh, is it a group of immigrants? I don't know if he's anonymous."

"The only boy who stood on the arrow side of the conversation was the one who was fluent in words"

"I see. I wonder what kind of person you are humanly?

Lieselotte asks about Rio's humanity.

"It's basically considered a warm and courteous person. It's not bright, but it's well hit and you don't have to be afraid of the others. I know it's a calm, calm type with a fast head rotation."

"It's a waste of talent to keep you more and more adventurous."

Leezelotte says as impressed with Aria's person rating.

Adventurers are basically just rough guys.

Lots of rough, short-tempered mess, not unplanned, but a lot of mess, and few are educated.

Still, with strength, there are no problems, and there are places to take advantage of them, but what is more sought after is a personably superior person.

"Anything else bothering you?

"Perhaps it's too much of my thinking, but there was a verse that was directing the flow of the story to the victim's boy..."

Aria answers Liezelotte's query in a slightly confused manner.

"What do you mean?

"This time there was the fall of the Ricca Chamber of Commerce in the failure of the manager of the store to stop both Stiard-Jugnault and Alphonse-Rodan names and to make prior arbitration. So, at my discretion, I decided to offer arbitration from the Ricca Chamber of Commerce..."

Aria looked at the idea as if she remembered the time, and said only slightly.

"On second thought, let's just say the flow was oddly smooth until we got there. I felt as though the boy was guiding the conversation by looking at our intentions and the circumstances in which they were placed."

"Why did you feel that way?

"It depends heavily on the sensory, but what made me uncomfortable was that the victim's boy dropped the charges lightly when the arbitration story came out"

"Hmm, that's all I can say... I can count on your instincts. If that's the truth, it's a big deal. It means it's bright in today's international situation."

The flow of conversation is water.

Impressions perceived by the way they are communicated and suggested differ greatly even on the same topic, and sometimes they are not eaten up when they are mistimed or poorly served, even on the topic they want.

But based on what they think, it's also true that the speaker can manipulate the flow of the conversation to some extent.

As a Lieselotte, I don't necessarily think the type with a large mouth count is a good conversation.

I believe that people with those skills are the ones who are good at conversations, such as grasping the flow of conversations and providing accurate topics, hammering and expressing their own opinions.

Nevertheless, if you have a routine conversation, it can be very tiring for someone who has such good manipulation in the negotiations to have a conversation with you.

"Well fine. So, when it comes to arbitration, what exactly did you do?

"Basically, I devoted myself to watching the process of reconciliation between the two begin. The general content of the settlement agreement is that, from both Stiard-Jugnault and Alphonse-Rodan's names, it is forbidden, directly or indirectly, from any future handouts to a boy named Hart, the victim, and to persons involved in him. In the event of a violation, the two names will be published using a handout held by the Ricca Chamber of Commerce, and a further fine of five will be imposed for the magic coin."

It should be noted that, in this contract, contact is also to be avoided as far as possible, except in unavoidable cases.

Although the penalty would be imposed with or without intent and negligence, a special piece of paper with witchcraft was to be used in the contract in order to determine whether the contract had been breached and whether the other party had lied.

By staining the contract with the contractor's blood, it reveals whether the contractor is violating the terms of the contract or spitting lies.

"It's effective, but it's quite a punishment. Publication of shame hurts more for nobility than money. Violation of that contract could crush the face of the Duke of Jugnor."

Listening to the details of the penalties for breach of contract, Lieselotte caught his face slightly.

I don't have a problem with even fulfilling the contract details, but I'm just a little scared to imagine being able to go out on bad means.

"I'm sorry. In order to preserve the third-party character of Arbitrator, it was foolish to speak out on the other side. Sometimes the two nobles of the perpetrator lacked too much calm and bargaining power, but basically all they could do was find a direction for reconciliation and watch the course......, that's just an excuse"

"No, I don't have a choice. If they were aristocrats, they'd want to make sure they were safe."

"This is a copy of the contract."

That being said, Aria mainly offered a copy of the settlement agreement.

Lieselotte receives it and looks through it sassy.

"I was frightened. I'm not just swallowing a prohibition clause unilaterally. If that's what you want, the victim will be able to disperse this case without any penalty."

For the Stiards, the contents are full of holes, and Leezelotte puts his face down.

In drawing up a contract, it is the norm to include clauses in your favor whenever possible and to be prepared so that any unforeseeable disputes do not arise later.

While some clauses should leave room for interpretation, it is basically preferable not to leave much room for interpretation in order to prevent disputes from arising.

From Lieselotte, I have to say that those who do not thoroughly boil down to the terms of the contract look sweetly at the prospects ahead.

The settlement agreement drawn up this time contained a thorough clause in favour of Rio, whereas the clause in favour of the Stiards was not set out at all.

The Stiards are nobles, not merchants, but this is too crude.

"One seemed to recognize the seriousness of the matter and atrophy after playing with the fire, but the other had lost much calm of anger. I put confirmation in both parties as to whether there were any differences in this content, but two of the aristocrats agreed lightly and the contract was concluded. The other boy seemed a little frightened, too."

Of course, there are many who do not, but some aristocrats are often poor at making contracts.

A lot of people don't like to stick to profits in negotiations because they are only conscious of honor, glory, and so on.

As far as this contract goes, maybe the Stiards have those verses as well.

"Though I don't think you're a person who wants to have a dispute in vain as far as the contents of the contract go, you might want to bow your head to him and ask him to stop talking so he doesn't quietly talk about the matter when this happens. I guess it's really fairer not to imitate that."

That being said, Lieselotte sighed deeply.

As she stares, I'm not going to do it to Rio.

Nor do I have enough handouts or influence to do that.

But I can't be sure Lieselotte will do that, and, assuming that's why, from a standpoint, it wouldn't be a good question to leave it completely alone.

"Yes, I rather called him to ask for the matter. I saw you as a reasonable person, so I know you don't have to worry too much."

"Maybe if you say so. But this Hart guy is one of the crooks. In a short time, the terms of the contract are well boiled."

That being said, Liezelotte posted a copy of the contract.

The contract incorporates clauses carefully to deal with as many problems as Lieselotte can come up with.

It was a good contract that was slightly different from the one used in this country but lacked gaps from her point of view - at least from one point of view.

Rather, there are so many references.

"Yes, he claimed to be a civilian, but given his abilities, he may be more likely to be an exotic nobleman or extravagant descendant travelling with patience. I was wondering if it was possible that there was a nobleman in the company, and that the boy was the person to escort him."

"I see. I understand."

Lieselotte looked back at previous reports and nodded deeply to indulge them.

"You should tell the Duke of Jugnault about this case properly so he doesn't imitate it sooner"

"Yeah, I will. Is that all you got?

"Yes. This is the report summarizing the details of this case. Please consult us when explaining to the Duke of Jugneau"

Aria gives you a set of documents.

"Thanks. You're still working fast."

Upon receiving it, a paragraph of practical talk softened Leezelotte's atmosphere and gave him a soft grin as he worked his good men.

"Even if a parent is competent, doesn't the child necessarily be competent? Well, it's historically proven in a hereditary country."

Lieselotte speaks openly.

"You're right. but would the aristocrat, Lady Lieselotte, say it"

Aria agreed with a bitter smile.

"Oh, you're a nobleman."

"You were. It was a long time ago though."

No particular way to miss it, Aria shows a light reaction.

"Still pale."

And now Leezelotte leaked a bitter laugh.

"Now, suppose I read this report and come to the Duke of Jugneau? Good day, Aria. You can go back to work now."

On a lightly wasted slap and a change of mood, Leezelotte declared the job resumed.

"Yes. Now if you'll excuse me,"

Bowing deeply, Aria walks away from the Lord's office.

Leaselotte, left alone in the room, sent her gaze to the lakeside view reflected by the window.

"Well, if you think positively about this one, maybe it's a happy miscalculation. I can lend it to the Duke of Jugnor."

So groaning and sighing small, she contained gracefully chilled tea in her mouth with a ladylike trick, and Lieselotte ran her eyes on the report.
