Seirei Gensouki ~Konna Sekai de Deaeta Kimi ni~

Episode 146: Flora's Distress

The afternoon of the day Rio left Amando for the Proxian Empire. In a forest in the kingdom of Palladia, Flora was transferring.

"What!?

Flora trembles with horror when she is stunned that the scenery has changed in an instant. I let my gaze wander for a moment, but the depressed and lush grass just shows up in my sight.

(Duh, where? Where is it, where is it? That guy threw a magical crystal-like stone at me..., was it some kind of magic prop with some powerful spatial magic in it?

And, while Flora is confused, she tries to sort out the situation. The first thing that occurred to me in her common sense was that she used some sort of paranormal spatial witchcraft.

(But space magic that transfers people is supposed to be lost ancient magic. I can't believe I used a magical crystal type magic prop with such magic...)

When using magic as a magic prop in a magic crystal, it is difficult to add new magic that has been consumed, and since the magic crystal disappears when the encapsulated magic is exhausted, the magic prop assumes disposability when the magic is exhausted. If you try to indulge in magic, the magic in the magic crystal will be extinguished.

(How come that guy didn't kill me on that spot in the first place? You said you came to kill me......, why put me in a place like this?

Flora looks around again, but I don't see those men anywhere near her. What exactly is the purpose of the men who appeared before me? It was like I didn't know. Stand up often with a confused head.

Nevertheless, I could not remain still on this occasion forever. If freedom of movement is given, there is only one option that comes to mind.

(Anyway, we need to find out where this is and get back to the Restoration stronghold...)

Flora decided to return in a hurry. And he walks out of this dim forest with no strength, no confidence, no foundation.

That's how walking, roughly enough - Flora steps through the wooded ground she's just unfamiliar with walking, with trendy shoes with heels that are unsuitable for walking. The hem of the expensive dress covering its body was completely dirty in earthy colour.

(... I can't see the forest exit at all. I wonder how long you walked? I'm not headed to the back of the woods...... right?

Flora is anxiously disturbed and stunned. But the passage of time had also created a little spiritual leeway to think calmly. Instead, if you haven't distracted yourself by thinking about something, you can't help but be anxious.

(I guess we're in a lot of fuss by now.... Has that guy kept his word?

And, Flora thinks about the rest of the demon fleet crew.

One of the men who showed up promised to save the lives of the crew if Flora didn't resist, but I don't know if they would really keep their promises. But now I just had to believe the word, more than I had the art of confirming it.

(Because my sister and I were finally going to see each other... I want to see you, I want to see your sister soon)

My thoughts about my sister Christina also grow stronger. Then Flora kept quietly moving her legs, with all her heart wanting to reunite with her sister.

And time moves on just a little bit, the next evening approaching. The place changed and the Kingdom of Palladia Castle. A crude, but neat-faced, grand man was facing First Prince Duran-Paradia.

"So, what kind of funny mischief did you bring in today, Lucius?

Duran asks with dignity against the visitor man - Lucius - as he lets both chairs serve the beauty in thin clothes.

"Ha ha, sounds as if I'm always asking you to be masterful."

"Now there's a difference. There is no need for you to come to me now for work, more than the victory of our army has become unshakeable in the battle ahead. It's up to you to show up to me outside of work when you bring me some bad skill."

"Well, you can't be wrong."

Nodding, Lucius distorted his lips.

"Tell me as soon as you can. Now I'm bored because I don't have enough to fight anymore."

Duran rushes Lucius with a big body all the time. Then...

"Actually, I'm trying to do a treasure hunt, but I was wondering if Your Highness would like to join me."

And Lucius spoke with a smile.

"... the treasure hunt? You think there's some sleeping treasure in our country?

"Yeah, that's superb already. I would like you to swallow a few conditions, but I hope that the treasure you discover will be used as Your Highness pleases."

To Duran, whose eyes narrowed in surprise, Lucius nodded to Eagle Deep.

"Hmm. I don't know what you're up to, but let's petition him like he knows what that treasure and what they're doing."

"Yeah, I'm the only one who unleashed the treasure. I thought His Highness would love to have it, and thus I ascended. However, the treasure is unfortunately a creature and you may get away with it if you don't find and get it early. … I'll give you more details as soon as we formally enter into negotiations as usual."

And, Lucius explains with a familiar mouthful -,

"Pfft, fine. Negotiation. You guys leave."

Duran nodded in a good mood. When they dislodge the women they were sending them to, they weave their clothes and leave the room. That's how the only two of us left indoors...

"Now let me tell you what the treasure is all about"

Lucius began to tell the details of the treasure hunt in full.

◇ ◇ ◇

By then, Flora was still wandering through the woods of the Palladian kingdom. Initially I kept moving my legs with anxiety and the desire to see my sister, but physical fatigue has accumulated a lot over time.

(Ugh, my legs are heavy. I'm hungry. You still can't get out of the woods? It's getting a lot darker now..., what do we do? Knowledge I learned when I was in college, you have to secure a bunk before it gets completely dark at times like this, right? But I don't have any tools for camping...)

And, Flora, who keeps leaking crying in her heart. Physical as well as spiritual fatigue had begun to accumulate considerably in the vast woods where walkers could not escape.

All I see in my sight are trees, unchanged in phase. Nevertheless, changes have also occurred slightly in the sights of the forest. As the sun tilts, it's also getting acceleratingly darker in the woods. Until earlier, I could even look behind the woods, and now it's a lot dimmer even in front of me.

(You can also hear the animals chirping. I don't hear a beast that sounds dangerous... but I'm scared)

It's strange because in an unconventional dim space, even the sound of just a small animal sounds creepy. Looks like we'll have to go wild in the woods if we stay like this, but that's all I wanted to avoid at all costs. I'm scared and scared. My legs are getting a lot heavier, and I have rubbed my shoes and it hurts, but from time to time, while I was deluded by healing magic, Flora was moving her legs forward with the one heart she wanted to get out of the woods quickly.

But Flora doesn't really feel that it's a bad idea. Because even though I know as knowledge that I have to finish preparing for camp before it is completely dark as an iron rule when camping in nature, I am not stained as an experience.

So with no clear prospects or insurance, I still have the sweet idea that it's okay, maybe I can get out of the woods before it gets completely dark.

Of course, Flora. Although she had experience participating in outdoor exercises during her college years, all she did was practice in the form in which all the personnel, test sites and equipment were fed. The second princess's girlfriend was just accompanying her, especially since she wasn't even assigned any work, so something never remained as a useful experience.

As such, Flora pushes herself unknowingly into the worst possible situation. Less than a few dozen minutes later, the sun slanted rapidly, and when I realized it was dark in the woods as well. It's darker than I imagined, and I can't see anything. Fearing it, Flora even tried to keep moving.

"Luminous Magic (Radiation)"

As it becomes dark and difficult to see ahead, it casts a spell on the boulder and uses magic that emits light and heat. Then the dazzling light illuminated forwards strongly.

When the light intensity is adjusted and reduced to a reasonable brightness, the flora restarts its movement. Walk all alone in the darkened woods with an unnatural light.

How much time has passed since then? There are no signs that we can get out of the woods. Flora's fatigue was also about to reach its limits on boulders. Concentration is also being sharpened because of the light source being bathed from close range in the dark darkness, with tiny eyes.

Still, I was dragging my heavy legs and walking forward with inertia -

"Yikes!?

Flora was finally deprived of her legs by the grass and fell to the front. The magical light extinguishes in the clap.

"Ugh, there he is..."

Flora supports her own body with luxurious arms and manages to regain her position. Beautiful dresses are totally dirty too, but you can't even see it in the dark, and she won't notice. I didn't even get the strength to stand up right away.

Flora sits on the ground with her hands poked as they are, and she looks around in the darkness in a daze. Then I finally realized I was being placed in a space that was too dark. Even the tree, one or two meters away, can only be seen as an aurora.

I didn't notice it when I was walking, but when I wasn't moving, I could hear the bugs squeaking small. I also found the trees shaking deliberately whenever there was a cool breeze. Then...

(What do I do...?

And, Flora can be relieved and on her way. I vaguely think I need to get out of the woods, but I don't know how. I couldn't get out on foot like this. I remember a mixed question with anxiety as to whether I can really get out.

I can't walk anymore.

Flora tried to stand up in a slow motion, but immediately declined. The body is heavy as if it were a hammer. I finally realize that fatigue builds up in my flesh more than I apparently thought.

Flora's heart was breaking a lot. At least I am strongly made to understand that I can no longer get out of the woods by the end of the evening. I don't have the strength or the energy to remember fear and move into action. I've always felt like sitting here like this. So...

(We have to wait until it gets bright for now...)

In an attempt to rest and regain strength, Flora considers it blurry. That's all I can do now.

(You're thirsty)

Flora thinks so blurry...

"The Magic of Water Generation (Creative Water)"

I cast a blur and a spell and let the water out of my hand. Then put your face on the goodbye and overflowing water, wash your face as you go and moisten your throat. As such, Flora kept searching for water, often carelessly.

"Pfft..."

When I get obsessed with it for about ten seconds and keep drinking water, I finally breathe. Thanks to drinking water, I felt a little back in strength and strength. And -,

"I'm spooked. … we need to change the place to rest"

When he realizes the ground is flooded because of the water out, he whips his heavy body and stands up.

"Luminous Magic (Radiation)"

Flora walked cursorily to find a place to rest when she magically made the lights again. And a few minutes later, choose the proper tree root as your bedding for today. The ground was littered with dead leaves, so he seemed to expect a bit of a cushioning role.

"Come on...... Healing Magic (Heels)

As Flora slowly lowers her hips to the ground, she leans over with her weight in a sticky tree. And when healing magic is applied to the rubbed feet, it goes on to cure magic also on the hands and feet where fatigue is accumulating. Because healing magic can't completely reduce muscle pain and physical fatigue, but it works to a better extent than not applying it. That's how you finish the whole street--

(tired......)

The only thing that came to mind was that one word. Then, less than a minute later, a strong drowsiness strikes, and Flora starts snuggling around the boat with depression. Eventually, when she unconsciously closed her eyelids, her consciousness was instantly swallowed by darkness.

◇ ◇ ◇

And the next morning.

"Mmm..."

Remember the chills, Flora's consciousness awakens blurred. Slowly opening his eyes, he saw a forest landscape in his sight.

(... well. Me, in the end, I fell asleep like that... It's cold)

And, Flora blurredly recalls the situation in which she was placed.

It was kind of strangely chilly. My body feels uncomfortable and I feel dull pain in my savings. It was obvious because he was asleep without a blanket on either.

Flora, however, endures general fatigue and manages to move her body. But...

"... Ouch!?

When I actually moved my sleigh and body, I felt a tingly sharp pain in my neck muscle.

"Hey, what!?

Flora shivering her body and reflexively paying off her neck with her left hand. Then the feeling of blowing something up came through my left hand. Chasing something with your gaze that flew away, there was one spider there...

"Hih!?

Flora's head awakened at once. When you instantly understand the situation, your face turns blue and white when you look at it.

"Do it! Do it! Do it! Shit!

I thought there might be other bugs caught in the body, and Flora began to flash her whole body in a hurry. I will wear my body without including it under my dress.

That's how I carefully wandered around every corner of my body, and when I found out that the only bug I was in contact with was just one earlier spider for now...

"... no more."

And Flora sounded like she was going to cry. And then I carefully tucked my body, and now I try to touch the area of my neck muscle that I felt pain in terribly.

"Good, I'm not bleeding"

Knowing that there was no blood attached to her neck muscles, Flora stroked her chest down relieved. But I can't keep distracting you like this.

"... let's go. We need to get out of the woods."

Flora started moving quickly to get out of the woods as soon as possible. I'm hungry, and my general tiredness remains intense, but I can't say luxury.

"... that?

After walking for a few dozen or so minutes in a fluttering foothold, Flora felt mild dizziness. Even if you can see if it's anaemia caused by hungry exercise, whip your fluttering body and keep your legs moving. And after another small hour...

"Uh... that... out of the woods?

I saw a cut of trees in the back of my vision.

(... can you get out of the woods?

And, Flora stands up like she's been taken aback. But when I changed my face slightly, I walked away early enough. And -,

(I can leave. I can get out of the woods. I hope someone lives right next door......)

With that in mind, I'm finally out of the woods. Outside the woods it was a mild hilly area, where the view was good.

Flora then discovers that far from the forest, there is a village-like structure.

"Mm, village. That's a village, isn't it? Good......"

Flora sat up on the spot to break down, not much relief. But...

"... I have to go. Go to your sister."

After a while, Flora stands up in large measure. He then twisted the slightest energy remaining in his body and approached the village with a cursory foothold.
