10 Stories Preparing for a Banquet 1

Only three days approached the reception of Age and Tania.

When you're busy, the days go fast.

More and more time passed as Age decided to come out of the reception or make cookies.

I was confident that the reception would be quite entertaining, as it was something that also involved Age's main occupation.

Over the past few days, contacts announcing the holding of the reception have been received to the villages of the island and replies to the attendance have been received from time to time.

Once, face-to-face faces seemed to join us all.

Will everyone be doing well?

Sunny weather is spreading.

The sunshine shining strong, Age was sweating on her forehead.

The Ages were now preparing for a reception in the hall in front of Bona's house.

It's a meeting of village chiefs and deputy village chief classes from all over the island, so even Bona's house just can't fit in.

As a result, the reception was to be held outside.

Each hand holds a chair.

Long time no see.

"Did you go with Mr. Fernando then?

"Yes, yes. That was your first deal. Everything you see was fresh."

"It's true, right? That's when I first rode a horse."

"I'm so sorry."

"You won't have a choice. I haven't experienced it!

Fernando, too, held a chair.

Laughing at each other as I recall.

He took the river flowing from the village of Siena down to the front of the sea aboard the ship he had built for the deal.

It seemed as if it were yesterday or long ago.

Large long tables are arranged and equipped with inconsistent chairs brought over from the houses.

No matter how awesome Fernando was, there was no way he could produce large quantities in the short term.

Though we have a disciple, Thomas, we usually cut the work of the village of Siena together.

When the chairs were aligned exactly to the table's position, Age looked around.

With Bona's house in the front, Age and Tania sit.

To the left and right of it are the kinship seats of Bona and Nazioni, where the invitees will sit face-to-face.

The women of the village are sewing between busy times and desperately giving me a look at the food.

Mike has been out hunting for new meat these past few days.

It was a ceremony that would not happen without the cooperation of the village.

"But even children can do it now."

"Right. Well, anyway, I think it would be a good memorial for Mr. Tania. At the time, even if I wanted to, I couldn't afford it."

"Besides, I don't know who anybody is, and I'm married to a strange craftsman, not that I'm physically fit."

"If they welcomed Mr. Tania in my hometown, that would have been nice, too."

"Whoa, it's Age's hometown. I'd like to see it for once."

How the hell would Fernando react if he saw modern Japan?

You may not be surprised.

"Being able to come over here means you might have a day to go home. I'll invite you then."

"I'll wait for you without expecting it."

"Yeah, I don't know if I can do it either."

How the hell did I come to this island?

Has anyone else come?

Is there no way to leave?

Can't you go home and come back again?

Maybe it's time to seriously look into that area as well.

"So, have we decided who can join us yet?

"Looks like Girolamo from the village of Mostoli can join us nearby"

"Oh, that Osama? Shit, less expensive wine, so it's useless to call it."

Fernando in bad shape, but his face is laughing.

I guess you are genuinely welcome because you are usually entrusted with the deal and it is Fernando who has the most intimacy.

"You can't say that anymore, Mr. Fernando."

"Oh, Tania, you're finally here, congratulations."

"Thank you!

Tania, who was as ready as the Ages at a distance, bowed her head.

I seemed really in a good mood these past few days.

And I don't think you can fail.

I remember what Age's father used to say back then.

The wedding is a sunny stage for a woman's life.

When someone ruins it on that stage, he spits a grudge all his life.

You'll never forget that grudge, so be careful who you invite.

Age didn't have many memories of her mother, but she seems to have a different memory of her father.

It was inscribed in my memory, undeniably, in the smug way I looked at the fire furnace.

It's an unforgettable occasion.

Anyway, thorough preparation is indispensable for a successful reception.

Age will check the roster of participants.

From the village of Mostri, the village chief clown takes his wife.

He was married to more than one wife, but only his real wife seems to bring him in.

I haven't moved on to a specific story about the plan to set up a city after that, so I'd like to fill in the corner opportunity.

I was also curious to hear about sending a carpenter to the village of Siena.

From the village of Auman, it seems that Dinan, the village chief, and Fran, his daughter, are coming.

Will that active daughter Fran ever be able to keep her company?

I couldn't really be relieved of Age.

Other guests include a man named Ed, the village chief of the harbor village arena.

When I'm 60 years old, how the hell am I supposed to come when I say I'm one of the oldest on the island?

I'll be more worried about you if you don't fall on the road.

Speaking of more worrying, the people from the village on the east side of the island.

When I heard about the dispute between East and West on the island for a long time, I was wondering if I was able to repair the relationship.

There was a truce, but even now, Fernando and Mike don't have good feelings for the humans in the east.

Can such a person be invited to a reception once and for all?

And will there be a proper candidacy?

With that in mind, it was Age getting scared of the day when it was supposed to be sunny.

When he was ready, Age walked straight into Bona's house.

We need to hear the names of the main human beings in the village who did not stop by at the time of the transaction, as well as the names of the chief officers in the eastern village and the characteristics of the village.

Bona isn't so familiar with it either, but this time she has a powerful ally.

Franco the tax collector.

Franco was spreading the paperwork on his desk and putting together the attendees of the reception.

Usually it's a relationship between the side that takes the tax and the side that defends it at all, but this reception is hosted by the Lords.

If this is ruined, you will paint Nazioni's face with mud.

Franco said he'd be happy to work with you.

"There are at least three people to hold back"

"Are you a cautionary person?

"Oh, it's a lot of influence. If you behave carelessly without knowing it, you'll be stuck on your feet later."

"We'd like face-to-face support for the day."

"Absolutely. Let me do my best to support you."

"It's comforting."

Strong enemies are reliable if you turn to your side.

Will there be any more dependable allies?

Age was able to gain a great sense of security from her heart.

Franco, along with the map of the island, showed me the list of participants.

Franco's finger points to the southeast of the map of the island.

"The first thing we should hold off on is Zilva, acting village chief of the village of Qwara at the beginning"

"The village of beginnings?

"You know we used to migrate in groups from another island?

"You remember hearing such stories in the Toyota Festival song a long time ago"

"Right. It is said that the village of Qwara, the beginning, is where our ancestors first descended into the land"

"It was a long time ago, wasn't it? Do you have any evidence?

"Yes. They say the old ships are still sinking there. That if there's only a little of what was there, it's still there."

Franco says bitterly, "I'm not going to show them."

Where the ancestors of the island stepped down.

I don't know why, but Age's back was poppy.
