Section IX: The Tail of the Water Dragon

In the morning we were able to purchase a carriage for carrying cargo, and we took the road leading to Sorletta Ritta, where our parents were located, with Capocapo.

Running like slipping over leftover snow, 3 days. A carriage resting physically in a town or village on the way...... technically Gortmund is pulling me off, not a horse, but the journey is almost over.

"Huh..."

Sorletta Ritta. The city where I was born and raised is approaching. When I saw a familiar mountain, a river, and a cabin built along the road from a clearing gap, I opened the front of the carriage and embarked on myself. And I was inhaling a lot of the cold air I could smell.

How is my sister? What about your father or your mother? I don't think something will change in about six months, but I get a little anxiety now that I've become the real example that has changed. Especially since my sister is more active than I am, I've been feeling that way trying to cross a snow path or something to pick me up.

"I know it's nice to be home for the first time in six months, but don't fall off the carriage?"

Wearing a blanket, Toslin, who was supposed to have been asleep, had his eyes pointed this way at some point.

"Yes, I'm fine. No matter how much I'm motor tone deaf, I don't think so."

"Hey, but it's Iris,"

Next to it, even Carol turns a mean grin. Toslin and Carol are going to be working at Sorletta for a while. So even when we get to the city, it's still not goodbye. I was so glad that I was being made fun of, it made me nibble.

"Hmm?"

At that time, I heard a speech from the people at your table. The fact that Toslin and Carroll are in the carriage inevitably means that it will be Saluena and Mr. Rosé sitting on your podium.

"Is something wrong?"

With Carol dressed in a blanket, she crawls like a potato bug and puts her hands in front of the carriage that leads to your stand.

"Hey, don't take the blanket. It will be cold though. Just come back."

"Yes, yes, so? What were you two talking about? Even the monsters?"

Toslin shivers and wears a blanket as she hugs Carol from behind. That's warm, isn't it? The same goes for the blankets, but it feels good that Carol is so pompous about things. I can also nod that Toslin exhales with a prolonged face like he wouldn't normally see.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"

It is now before lunch. The relaxing carriage journey induced drowsiness, which we couldn't resist, but in the meantime Mr. Rosé and Saluena held the reins outside. I'm kind of uncomfortable being cared for the other way around to say it is.

"Atashi is already awake. Toslin couldn't get away with it..."

"What are you talking about? You're the first one to dive into the blanket."

"Atashi's talking about what's happening."

The usual friendly exchanges began and the air in the carriage began to move. That's cold, but I feel warm somewhere, strange air.

"So, what were the Roses fussing about?"

Ms. Rose pointed overhead as Carol twisted her wings tight by Toslin.

"Just now, the tail of the water dragon was stretching..."

"Ugh, seriously!?"

"Where, where? Where?"

Even Toslin, who was so cold, put his face out of front, though he remained stuck with Carol. And look up at the sky.

"Wow, you're beautiful whenever you see it"

I also turned my face toward your table, and looked up at the blue sky that spread over my head. Then there was a river stretched across the sky. Carpet of water, king's road of the sky, river of heaven...... and tail of water dragon. Represented by a variety of names, it exposes before us the magnificent appearance of several rainbows together.

"You haven't seen it in a long time. The last time I saw it... six months ago?"

"Yes, yes. So I walked all the way to the sky, so I lost my way, and I got to the front desk."

"Hmm, the tail of a water dragon? That's quite odd to say."

"What, you don't know Saluena?"

I'm looking up at the sky in a way that pinches my head between Mr. Rosé and Saluena's body, so I can't move a bit and it's hard.

"Oh, you never used to have one like that."

Saluena stares rarely into the sky. But the expression was different from a no-horn like mine, and he looked like an adventurer who had his exploratory mind tickled.

"I saw it in the book, but that sounds like it's circling the world."

"Oh, I've also heard of Atashi. He said he could get to the back of the sky with that stream."

"How do you jump on a river that's floating in the sky? You can't even float a ship. And when I go downstairs, I fall back, and this is it."

"Grr...... You don't have to deny it so strongly...... Toslin has no dreams. Still an adventurer?"

"I became an adventurer to train and earn more money. Can you eat with dreams or romance"

"It is rumored among us priests that there is a boundary trench Entura at the end of that river stream"

"Entura... you mean the world that's sealing Auschnell?"

"Yes, I don't know who told you that or when you're starting to tell me..."

"If that story is correct... it would mean that I was sealed at the end of this river. No, not now..."

"I also hear that if you find a golden fish, happiness comes in, is that true?"

The tail of the water dragon now flows to cover 30% of the sky. Clouds split so that they are pushed by the current, swirling, and a thousand cuts and disappear. From its appearance as if eating clouds, the water dragon is also said to be the use of the only goddess of the Dragon clan, bringing sunny weather, and is also the object of faith in some regions.

"I've never seen one. If there was actually a fish swimming in there, can you see it?"

"If you have a very good eye, you might see it."

Speaking of me, my eyes aren't good enough to look far away. Is it the effect of all the books I've been calling for a long time?

"Then Atashi might see it..."

Carol gazes at the sky, roaring with un-un. But that was also for a little while.

"Oh, look, gentlemen. You see the city?"

At the foot of the mountain that soars as if challenging the sky. Ahead of the road stretched, I saw a red brick roof.

"... it's Sorletta Ritta"
